- L’operatore deve possedere i requisiti attitudinali atti alla
conduzione della macchina;
- Leggere attentamente il Manuale e considerarlo parte della
macchina;
- Il Manuale deve essere facilmente reperibile dal personale
addetto alla guida ed alla manutenzione;
- Custodire il Manuale per tutta la durata della macchina;
- Assicurarsi che qualsiasi aggiornamento pervenuto venga
incorporato nel testo;
- Consegnare il Manuale a qualsiasi altro utente o successivo
proprietario della macchina;
- Impiegare il Manuale in modo tale da non danneggiare tutto
od in parte il contenuto;
- Non asportare, strappare o riscrivere per alcun motivo parti
del Manuale;
- Conservare il Manuale in zone protette da umidità e calore;

1.2 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE USER
The instruction manual must be read and used as follows:
- every operator and component of personnel assigned to
the maintenance of the machine will have to read entirely
and with maximum attention this Manual and respect its
contents;
- The operator must possess the vocational requirements and
permissions for driving the machine;
- Read the Manual carefully and consider it as an integrated
part of the machine;
- The Manual must be within easy reach of the personnel
assigned to the driving and the maintenance;
- Keep the Manual for all the duration of the machine;
- Make sure that any updating is incorporated into the text;
- Deliver the Manual to any other customer or successive
owner of the machine;
- Employ the Manual in such a way as not to damage entirely
or partially it;
- Do not remove, tear or rewrite parts of the Manual for any
reason;
- Keep the Manual in zones protected from humidity and heat;
- In the event the Manual is lost or partially ruined and therefore
it is no longer possible to read its complete contents it is
opportune to ask for a new copy from the manufacturer.
Pay the maximum attention to the following symbols and their

1.2 MISE EN GARDE
Utiliser et consulter le manuel d’instructions de la façon
suivante :
- Tous les opérateurs et toutes les personnes chargées de
l’entretien de la machine doivent lire intégralement et avec
la plus grande attention le présent manuel et doivent en
respecter le contenu ;
- L’opérateur doit avoir l’aptitude nécessaire à l’utilisation de la
machine.
- Lire attentivement le manuel d’instructions et le considérer
comme faisant partie intégrante de la machine ;
- Le manuel doit être consultable à tout moment par les
personnes chargées de l’utilisation et de l’entretien de la
machine ;
- Conserver ce manuel pendant toute la durée de vie de la
machine ;
- S’assurer que toutes les mises à jour fournies sont bien
insérées dans le texte ;
- Remettre ce manuel à tous les utilisateurs ou propriétaires
successifs de la machine ;
- Veiller à utiliser ce manuel sans en abîmer le contenu même
partiellement ;
- Ne pas enlever, ni arracher, ni transcrire en aucun cas des
parties de ce manuel ;
- Conserver ce manuel à l’abri de l’humidité et de la chaleur ;

1.3 PREMESSA
Le norme di servizio descritte nel presente Manuale,
costituiscono parte integrante della fornitura della macchina.
Tali norme, inoltre, sono destinate all’operatore già istruito
espressamente per condurre questo tipo di macchina e
contengono tutte le informazioni necessarie ed indispensabili
per la sicurezza di esercizio e l’impiego ottimale, non scorretto,
della macchina.
Preparazioni affrettate e lacunose costringono
all’improvvisazione e ciò è causa di molti incidenti.
Prima di iniziare il lavoro, leggere attentamente e rispettare
scrupolosamente i seguenti suggerimenti:
- Prendere confidenza, prima di iniziare ad usare la macchina,
di qualsiasi operazione e posizione ammissibile di esercizio;
- L’operatore deve sempre avere in qualsiasi momento a
disposizione il manuale istruzioni;
- Programmare ogni intervento con cura;
- Conoscere dettagliatamente dove e come è previsto
l’impiego della macchina;
- Assicurarsi di avere sempre a disposizione l’equipaggiamento
necessario;
- Prima di iniziare i lavori assicurarsi che i dispositivi di sicurezza
funzionino correttamente e non si abbiano dubbi sul loro
funzionamento; in caso contrario non utilizzare in nessun
caso la macchina;
- Effettuare interventi di cambio fitofarmaci in modo corretto e
sicuro;
- Una manutenzione preventiva costante ed accurata
garantisce sempre l’elevata sicurezza di esercizio della
macchina.
Non rimandare mai riparazioni necessarie e farle eseguire solo
ed esclusivamente da personale specializzato, ed impiegare
soltanto ricambi originali.
PERICOLO: E’ vietato l’utilizzo a persone di età inferiore a
18 anni.

1.3 FOREWORD
The described norms of service in this Manual constitute an
integral part of the supply of the machine.
Such norms, moreover, are intended to be for an operator
already expressly instructed to drive this type of machine and
contain all the necessary and indispensable information for
the safe use and optimal employment, not incorrect, of the
machine.
Hurried preparations cause improvisation and this is a cause of
many accidents.
Before beginning the work, read carefully and respect the
following suggestions scrupulously:
- Before using the machine, gain familiarity with the tasks to be
completed and the admissible working position;
- The operator must always have the instruction manual to
hand;
- Program all work with due care and attention;
- Know in detail where and how the employment of the
machine is foreseen;
- Be sure to always have the necessary equipment on hand;
- Before beginning work, make secure that the safety devices
work correctly moreover, do not have any doubts about their
functioning; otherwise do not to use the machine under any
circumstance;
- Prepare and carry out pesticide refills safely and correctly;
- Constant and preventative maintenance always guarantees
the elevated safety of machine use.
Never delay necessary repairs and only have them carried out
by specialized staff and use only original spare

spécifique du la machine en question ; elles contiennent toutes
les informations nécessaires et essentielles à la sécurité et à
une utilisation optimale et correcte de le machine.
Une préparation hâtive et incomplète pousse à l’improvisation,
source de nombreux accidents.
Avant de commencer le travail, lire attentivement et respecter
scrupuleusement les recommandations suivantes :
- Avant d’utiliser le machine, se familiariser avec les opérations
et les positions de fonctionnement possibles ;
- L’opérateur doit pouvoir consulter le manuel d’instructions à
tout moment ;
- Programmer avec soin chaque intervention ;
- Savoir de façon approfondie où et comment utiliser le
machine ;
- S’assurer d’avoir toujours à disposition tout l’équipement
nécessaire ;

jamais utiliser le machine ;
- Effectuer les opérations de changement des produits
phytopharmaceutiques (ppp) de façon correcte et sûre.
- Un entretien préventif, constant et scrupuleux garantit
toujours une sécurité élevée. Ne jamais différer les
opérations qui sont nécessaires et les confier uniquement
à des spécialistes. Toujours utiliser des pièces de rechange
d’origine.

Prima di iniziare i trattamenti controllare che il moltiplicatore
sia innestato:
- Se da innestare, spegnere il trattore e attendere l’arresto di
tutti i componenti dell’atomizzatore;
- Portare la leva di innesto moltiplicatore (c) in posizione
“INNESTATO” come indicato nella targhetta adesiva applicata
al telaio dell’apparato;
- A questo punto è possibile iniziare i trattamenti avendo
cura di innestare il cardano del trattore in maniera delicata
evitando scatti del cardano;
- Una volta terminati i trattamenti portare la leva (c) in
posizione di “FOLLE”.

on the adhesive plate applied on the frame of the apparatus;
- At this point it is possible to spraying; ensure that the
universal joint of the tractor is coupled gently so as to avoid
any abrupt joint movement;
- Once spraying job has been completed bring the lever (c) to
the “NEUTRAL” position.

PERICOLO: Non toccare mai l’anello polarizzatore se esso
risulta polarizzato o in uso.
La corrente ad alta tensione, può risultare pericolosa
per i portatori di pace-maker ed altre apparecchiature
sanitarie elettroniche.
La Carica Elettrostatica produce una forte polarizzazione
positiva “+” delle goccioline costituenti la nebbia
antiparassitaria lanciata dal Cannone. Goccioline che sono
quindi attirate da ogni elemento emergente dal suolo che,
al contrario, è caratterizzato da una carica elettrica naturale
negativa “-”: alberi con foglie e rami, muri, edifici, ecc. diventano
tutti bersagli attrattivi naturali.
Questo fenomeno di attrazione delle goccioline produce
trattamenti antiparassitari di elevato livello professionale, con
importanti vantaggi:
- Trattamento anche delle superfici non direttamente esposte
al getto del cannone (dal 15 al 25% di superficie coperta in
più)
- Riduzione delle perdite per deriva aerea (dal 20 al 30%)
- Riduzione del gocciolamento al suolo (dal 15 al 25%).
Va da se che i recuperi suddetti restano sulle superfici trattate e
che essi possono essere capitalizzati, semplicemente:
- Riducendo la portata istantanea del cannone.
- Aumentando la velocità di avanzamento della macchina.
Per utilizzare la Carica Elettrostatica E±S:
- Stendere al suolo la catena metallica di massa;
- Premere il pulsante (a) , se la spia (b) si accende, conferma
l’attivazione del sistema. Infatti, si attiva il survoltore interno
che carica l’anello polarizzatore con una corrente ad alta
tensione (15-20.000 Volt, ma di assai debole intensità).

DANGER: Do not touch the Polarization Ring when
Electro-Charge device is “ON” The high tension
current may result of danger to porter of Pace-Maker and
other Electronic Sanitary Devices.
The TIFONE Electrostatic Charge E±S4 is transmitting an
intense electrostatic positive (+) charge to the mist droplets
emitted by the Spray Cannon.
The electro positive (+) charged mist droplets will be attracted
by any part connected to the negative ground (-) as trees,
hedges or any vegetable growing, buildings etc.
This droplet attraction phenomenon produces anti-parasite
treatment of a highly professional standard, providing the user
with important advantages:
- Treatment includes surfaces not directly exposed to the
cannon jet (15 to 25% of additional surface coverage)
- Reduction of air drift losses (from 20 to 30%)
- Reduction of on-ground dripping (from 15 to 25%).
It goes without saying that the above-stated dispersal savings
are transferred to treated surfaces and can be capitalised on
simply by:
- Reducing the delivery rate of the cannon.
- Increasing machine travel speed.
To use the E±S electrostatic charge:
- Lay the metallic grounding chain on the earth;
- Push the button (a); if the light (b) comes on activation of the
system is confirmed. In fact, the internal voltage booster is
activated, charging the polarising ring with a high voltage
current (15 - 20,000 Volt, but of rather weak intensity).

Le courant à haute tension peut être dangereux pour
les personnes porteuses d’un pace-maker ou d’autres
appareils sanitaires électroniques.
La Charge Électrostatique produit une forte polarisation
positive “+” des gouttelettes qui constituent le brouillard
antiparasitaire éjecté par le canon. Ces gouttelettes sont
attirées par tout élément sortant du sol qui, au contraire, est
caractérisé par une charge électrique naturelle négative “-” :
les arbres avec feuilles et branches, les murs, les bâtiments etc.
deviennent tous des cibles naturelles d’attraction.
Ce phénomène d’attraction des gouttelettes crée des
traitements antiparasitaires de niveau professionnel élevé,
avec d’importants avantages :
- Traitement également des surfaces n’étant pas directement
exposées au jet du canon (de 15 à 25% de surface couverte
en plus)
- Réduction des pertes causées par la dispersion aérienne (de
20 à 30%)
- Réduction de l’égouttement au sol (de 15 à 25%)
Il va de soi que ces récupérations restent sur les surfaces
traitées et qu’elles peuvent être capitalisées, simplement :
- en réduisant la portée instantanée du canon
- en augmentant la vitesse d’avance de la machine.
Pour utiliser la Charge Électrostatique E+S :
- Étendre sur le sol la chaîne métallique de masse ;
- Appuyez sur le bouton (a) ; l’allumage du voyant (b) confirme
l’activation du système. En effet, le survolteur intérieur s’active
et charge la bague de polarisation avec un courant en haute
tension (15-20.000 volts, mais d’intensité assez faible).

PERICOLO: Tutte le operazioni di manutenzione devono
avvenire con l’atomizzatore staccato dal trattore e
posizionato su un piano stabile e sicuro.
ATTENZIONE: Le operazioni di manutenzione devono
essere eseguite esclusivamente dal servizio Assistenza
Clienti della TIFONE S.r.l. o da personale qualificato.
ATTENZIONE: Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di
manutenzione dell’atomizzatore, leggere attentamente il
capitolo sulle avvertenze di sicurezza.
ATTENZIONE: I residui di pulizia devono essere smaltiti
secondo le disposizioni di legge vigenti.
Manutenzione all’inizio di ogni giornata lavorativa
- Controllare che non vi siano perdite d’olio dal moltiplicatore.
- Controllare l’integrità del telaio in acciaio zincato.
- Controllare l’integrità degli ugelli.
- Controllare l’integrità degli apparati.
- Controllare l’integrità delle protezioni di sicurezza.
- Controllare l’integrità delle targhette di sicurezza.
Manutenzione alla fine di ogni trattamento
- Pulizia apparato
Alla fine di ogni trattamento lavare accuratamente gli apparati
con un getto di acqua pulita ad alta pressione.
- Controllo ugelli nebulizzatori
Alla fine di ogni trattamento controllare che dagli ugelli non vi
siano perdite. Controllare inoltre che le piastrine nebulizzatrici
montate non siano visibilmente consumate.

4 - MAINTENANCE
DANGER: All maintenance tasks must be carried out with
the sprayer detached from the tractor and positioned on
a safe, stable surface.
WARNING: Maintenance tasks must only be carried out by
the TIFONE S.r.l. Customer Assistance Service or qualified
personnel.
WARNING: Before carrying out any maintenance work on
the sprayer, read the chapter on Safety.
WARNING: Cleaning residue must be disposed of
according to the laws in force.
Maintenance tasks at the start of each spray day
- Check that no oil leaks from the Gearbox.
- Check that the galvanised steel frame is in good condition.
- Check that the nozzles are in good condition.
- Check that the equipment is in good condition.
- Check that the safety guards are in good condition.
- Check that the safety info plates are in good condition.
Maintenance tasks at the end of each spraying session
- Cleaning the equipment
At the end of each spraying session the equipment must be
washed thoroughly with a high-pressure jet of clean water.
- Checking the nozzles.
At the end of each spraying session check that there are no
leaks from the nozzles. Check also that the fitted misting
platelets are not visibly worn.

lieu avec le pulvérisateur dételé du tracteur et
placé sur une surface plane, stable et sûre.
ATTENTION : Les opérations d’entretien doivent être
effectuées exclusivement par le service d’assistance
clients de la société TIFONE s.r.l. ou par des personnes
qualifiées.
ATTENTION : Avant toute opération d’entretien sur
le pulvérisateur, lire attentivement le chapitre des
avertissements de sécurité.
ATTENTION : Les résidus de nettoyage doivent être
éliminés conformément aux dispositions des lois en
vigueur.
Entretien avant chaque journée de travail
- Vérifier qu’il n’y a pas de fuites d’huile du multiplicateur.
- Contrôler l’intégrité du châssis en acier galvanisé.
- Contrôler l’intégrité des buses.
- Contrôler l’intégrité du soufflerie.
- Contrôler l’intégrité des protections de sécurité.
- Contrôler l’intégrité des plaques de sécurité.
Entretien après chaque traitement
- Nettoyage du soufflerie.
À la fin de chaque traitement, nettoyer scrupuleusement le
soufflerie à l’aide d’un jet d’eau propre sous haute pression.
- Contrôle buses de nébulisation
À la fin de chaque traitement, contrôler l’absence de fuites
des buses. Vérifier également de visu que les plaquettes de
nébulisation montées ne sont pas trop usées.

4.1 CONTROLLO LIVELLO OLIO MOLTIPLICATORE
Per verificare il livello dell’olio del moltiplicatore:
- Svitare il tappo di livello dell’olio (a)
- Verificare che il livello dell’olio rientri negli standard
- Avvitare il tappo di livello.
Se risulta necessario aggiungere dell’olio:
- Svitare il tappo di rabbocco (b)
- Aggiungere olio fino al raggiungimento del livello desiderato
- Avvitare il tappo di rabbocco (b).
ATTENZIONE: Non superare il livello olio indicato.
4.2 CONTROLLO UGELLI
Controllare gli ugelli e verificare che:
- Non vi siano perdite
- I dischi nebulizzatori siano del tipo corretto, secondo la
calibrazione richiesta e non siano visibilmente consumate. In
tal caso sostituirli.
Per sostituire i dischi nebulizzatori:
- Svitare il dado (c)
- Sostituire con un disco nebulizzatore nuovo
- Avvitare il dado (c).
4.1 GEARBOX OIL LEVEL CHECK 4.1 CONTRÔLE DU NIVEAU D’HUILE DU MULTIPLICATEUR
To check the oil level of the Gearbox: Pour vérifier le niveau d’huile du multiplicateur :
- Unscrew the oil level plug (a) - Dévisser le bouchon de niveau d’huile (a) ;
- Check that the level is within the permitted range - Vérifier que le niveau d’huile correspond aux standards
- Screw in the oil plug. demandés ;

- Spegnere la Carica Elettrostatica premendo il pulsante (a) e
verificando che la luce (b) si spenga.
- Con l’aiuto di un cacciavite scaricare la tensione residua.
- Pulire e asciugare la superficie dell’anello polarizzatore (c).
- In caso di residuo secco, rimuoverlo con un cacciavite o un
coltello.
La rimozione dei residui è importante perchè essi possono
causare la polarizzazione del politilene localmente.
PERICOLO: Non toccare mai l’anello polarizzatore se esso
risulta polarizzato o in uso.
La corrente ad alta tensione, può risultare pericolosa
per i portatori di pace-maker ed altre apparecchiature
sanitarie elettroniche.
4.4 PUNTI DI INGRASSAGGIO
1 Cuscinetto a sfere puntamento orizzontale
2 Ingrassatore puntamento verticale.
Questa operazione deve essere eseguita ogni 50 ore di lavoro.

4.3 CLEANING OF ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE E±S
- First, deactivated the Electrostatic-Charge, Button Switch (a)
must be OFF and light (b) must be OFF
- With the help of a screwdriver discharged the residual tension
current.
- Clean and Dry the surface between polarization Ring (c) and
the Spray Blowing Cannon
- In case of dry residual due to a not accurate previous cleaning,
scrape away these residuals by a small screwdriver or knife,
both from front and back of the ring.
The removal is important because solid residual will become
high current conducting points that can burn Polyethylene
locally.

4.4 GREASING OF POINTING DEVICE
