INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

BEFORE ASSEMBLING AND OPERATING THE PRODUCT,
CAREFULLY READ ALL THE SAFETY AND OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS REPORTED IN THIS MANUAL.
ALWAYS FOLLOW ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND ASSURE THAT ALL
THE OPERATORS STANDING BY THE MACHINERY ARE WEARING
ALL THE PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR THE JOB
TYPE AND APPLICATION BEING PERFORMED.
DO NOT USE THE MACHINERY IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND
THESE INSTRUCTIONS, AND IMMEDIATELY REFER TO THE
MANUFACTURER OR THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK FOR
ASSISTANCE.
THE PRODUCT MUST BE PROTECTED BY A CONVENIENT COVER
GUARD TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY TO PEOPLE.
AXIAL AND RADIAL VENTILATION OPENINGS SHOULD BE
INCORPORATED IN THE GUARD FOR HEAT EXCHANGE.
IF THE PRODUCT IS FITTED WITH FUSIBLE PLUGS, THE SAID
OPENINGS SHOULD NOT BE DIRECTED TOWARDS OPERATORS OR
ANY HOT OR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION.

Questo manuale supporterà l’utilizzatore nell’uso sicuro
e corretto del prodotto.
Se le prescrizioni contenute in questo manuale saranno
osservate, sarà possibile:
- aumentare l’affidabilità e la vita del prodotto e della
sua installazione
- evitare i rischi,
- ridurre le riparazioni e le fermate
Questo manuale deve:
- essere sempre disponibile nel luogo di
installazione del macchinario
- essere letto e usato da ogni persona che lavora
con il prodotto.
Il prodotto è costruito secondo lo stato dell’arte e i
regolamenti di sicurezza approvati.
Tuttavia, in caso di movimentazione o utilizzo improprio:
- la vita dell’utilizzatore o di terze parti può essere

1. PREFACE
1.1 General information
This manual will support the user in using the product
in a safe and correct way.
If the information contained into this manual is
observed, it will be possible:
- to increase the reliability and lifetime of the product
and its installation
- to avoid risks,
- to reduce repairs and downtimes
This manual must:
- always be available at the machine site
- be read, understood and used by every person
working on the product.
The product is manufactured to the state of the art
and according to current safety regulations.
Nevertheless, in case of improper handling or use:
- user’s or third parties’s life may be endangered
- the product or other materials could be damaged.
Spare parts
TRANSFLUID is not liable for injuries, damages,
losses of any type, lack of performances resulting
from use of non-original spare parts.
Use only appropriate workshop equipment for repair.
Professional maintenance or repair can only be
guaranteed by the manufacturer or an authorized
specialist workshop.

- variazione dei dati di funzionamento
- esperienza acquisita con il prodotto
- problemi ricorrenti
- problemi incontrati con questo manuale di
installazione e manutenzione.
2.4 Informazioni generali
Per tutte le attività realizzate sul prodotto, si prega
di osservare i regolamenti locali per la prevenzione
degli infortuni.
PERICOLO:
prima dell’installazione del prodotto, fermare tutte le
parti rotanti motrici e condotte, prendendo inoltre
tutte le opportune precauzioni per evitare
l’azionamento accidentale delle stesse.
PERICOLO:
prima di operare sul circuito idraulico il personale
deve indossare le opportune protezioni per gli occhi.
AVVERTENZA:
l’utilizzo di strumenti e metodi di lavoro non adatti
può provocare danni al prodotto.
AVVERTENZA:
se durante il funzionamento si riscontrano delle
irregolarità fermare l’unità motrice!
PERICOLO:
il prodotto genera rumore durante il funzionamento.
Se il livello di pressione sonora equivalente supera
gli 80 dB(A), ciò può causare danni all’udito.

- experience gained with the unit
- recurring problems
- problems experienced with this installation and
operating manual.
2.4 General information
For all works performed on the product, please
observe the local regulations for prevention of
accidents!
DANGER:
before installation of the product, stop all driving and
driven rotating parts, taking moreover all necessary
precautions to prevent their accidental operation.
DANGER:
prior to operate on the hydraulic circuit personnel
must wear relevant eyes protection devices.
ATTENTION:
the use of unsuitable working means and methods
may cause damage to the product.
ATTENTION:
if irregularities are found during operation,
immediately switch off the driving unit!
DANGER:
the product generates noise during operation.
If the equivalent sound pressure level exceeds 80
dB(A) this can cause hearing damage!

le parti rotanti esposte, devono essere protette dal
contatto con delle opportune coperture. Non far
funzionare il prodotto senza queste coperture!
PERICOLO:
assicurarsi che l’illuminazione, lo spazio di lavoro e la
ventilazione siano adeguati quando si lavora sul
prodotto.
PERICOLO:
qualora sul prodotto fossero installati tappi fusibili
(giunto idrodinamico), in caso di sovraccarico termico
del prodotto i tappi fusibili entrano in funzione. Il fluido
operativo a temperature elevate all’interno del prodotto
(giunto idrodinamico) viene pertanto scaricato
attraverso questi tappi fusibili.
Assicurarsi che tale fuoriuscita di fluido operativo:
- non possa venire in contatto con parti calde di
macchine, riscaldatori, componenti elettrici, scintille o
fiamme libere! C’è rischio di incendio!
- non costituisca pericolo per le persone.
PERICOLO:
il contatto con terminali sotto tensione aperti o liberi,
linee elettriche e componenti può provocare lesioni
gravi o addirittura mortali!
In caso di guasto, anche componenti operativamente
non sotto tensione potrebbero invece essere sotto
tensione.
PERICOLO:
Durante l’installazione, il funzionamento e la
manutenzione del prodotto, non alterare circuiti elettrici
ed idraulici di potenza o di controllo. Le modifiche
potrebbero provocare funzionamenti anomali o non
previsti del prodotto con possibili gravi conseguenze
per il prodotto stesso e per l’incolumità del personale.
3. MOVIMENTAZIONE
PERICOLO:
imbracatura e sollevamenti impropri del prodotto
possono causare lesioni alle persone.
AVVERTENZA:
imbracatura e sollevamenti impropri del prodotto
possono causare danno ai beni materiali.
Prestare attenzione al peso del prodotto.
Tutte le apparecchiature di sollevamento, le
imbracature, i punti di imbracatura, devono essere:
- verificati e approvati
- sufficientemente dimensionati e in ottime condizioni
- utilizzate solo da personale autorizzato e formato.
4. IMMAGAZZINAGGIO, IMBALLO, PROTEZIONE
AVVERTENZA:
- smaltire l’imballo in accordo alle disposizioni locali
- l’area di immagazzinaggio deve essere asciutta e
priva di polvere
- per periodi di immagazzinaggio superiori a 3 mesi,
richiedere a TRANSFLUID il documento relativo alle
prescrizioni per la conservazione del prodotto.

DANGER:
exposed rotating parts, if any, need to be protected
against contact by proper guards. Never operate the
product without these guards!
DANGER:
ensure suitable, working space, light and ventilation
when working on the product.
DANGER:
if the product is equipped with fusible plug (fluid
coupling), in case of thermal overload of the product,
fusible plugs will operate.
The high temperature operating fluid inside the product
(fluid coupling) is therefore sprayed out through these
fusible plugs.
Be sure that the exiting operating fluid:
- cannot get into contact with hot machine parts,
heaters, electricals, sparks or open flames! There is a
risk of fire!
- is not dangerous for personnel.
DANGER:
energized terminals, electric lines and components may
cause serious or even fatal injuries!
In the event of a fault, even assemblies operationally
not energized may instead be energized.
DANGER:
during the installation, operation and maintenance of the
product, do not modify electrical and hydraulic circuits.
This could cause malfunctions or unforeseen
behaviours of the product with potential serious
consequences for the product itself and for the safety of
personnel.
3. HANDLING
DANGER:
improper slinging and lifting of the product may cause
personal injuries.
ATTENTION:
improper slinging and lifting of the product may cause
damage of property.
Pay attention to the product weight.
All lifting appliances, slings, slinging points must be:
- checked and approved
- sufficiently dimensioned and in the best condition
- operated only by authorized and trained personnel.
4. STORAGE,PACKING, PRESERVATION
ATTENTION:
- dispose of the packaging in accordance with the
provisions of the local regulations
- storage area must be dry, and without dust
- for storage periods longer than 3 months, ask for
TRANSFLUID document relevant to prescriptions for
conservation of the product.

1. MONTAGGIO
1.1 Assicurarsi che tutti I pezzi siano puliti.
1.2 Ingrassare gli O-Ring pos. A ed inserirli nella sede pos.J
dei manicotti pos. B (Fig. 1).
1.3 Collocare i manicotti pos. B (Fig. 1) sugli alberi evitando
di rovinare gli O-Ring.
1.4 Montare i mozzi pos. C (Fig. 1) sui rispettivi alberi con la
parte lunga del mozzo verso l’estremità dell’albero (A e
B Fig. 2), o verso la macchina (C, D e E Fig. 2).
1.5 Posizionare la macchina e verificare che la distanza G
tra i mozzi corrisponda a quella indicata nella Tab. A o a
disegno approvato.
1.6 Allineare gli alberi usando un comparatore (Fig. 3).
La tolleranza dell’allineamento dipende dalla velocità di
rotazione (vedere Tab. B).

1.7 Ingrassare le dentature dei mozzi e dei manicotti, e far
scorrere i manicotti pos. B sui mozzi pos. C (Fig. 1).
1.8 Applicare della pasta sigillante sulle superfici di unione
dei manicotti pos. B ed inserire i bulloni pos. E e F. Per
una corretta coppia di serraggio delle viti vedere Tab. C.
1.9 Per i tipi PST, PDMM, ecc., togliere i tappi pos. H di un
manicotto pos. B ed inserire grasso da un foro finchè lo
stesso trafili dall’altro foro.
I due fori devono essere in posizione orizzontale.
Per i tipi PFS, PSE, PSV e similari effettuare
l’operazione su entrambi i manicotti.
Per quantità e qualità di grasso vedere Tab. C e D.

2. MANUTENZIONE
2.1 Verificare periodicamente se ci sono perdite di
grasso, il serraggio dei bulloni e l’allineamento.
2.2 Ogni 3000 ore procedere come indicato al punto
1.9.
3. SMONTAGGIO E CONTROLLI
3.1 Togliere le viti.
3.2 Controllare lo stato delle tenute e della dentatura.
3.3 Controllare l’allineamento.

1. ASSEMBLING
1.1 Ensure all parts are clean.
1.2 Apply a light coat of grease to the O-Rings pos. A and
insert them into grooves J of sleeves pos. B (Fig. 1).
1.3 Place sleeves pos. B (Fig. 1) over shaft ends. Care
should be taken not to damage O-Rings.
1.4 Install hubs pos. C (Fig. 1) on their respective shafts
with the longest hub end towords shaft end (A and B
Fig. 2), or towords machine bearing (C, D and E Fig. 2).
1.5 Install units to be connected in place and check the
spacing G between hubs. For correct hub spacing see
Tab. A or approved drawing.
1.6 Align the two shafts, check alignment using a
comparator (Fig. 3). Alignment precision depends on
running speed (see Tab. B).
1.7 Coat hub and sleeve gearings with grease and
sleeves pos. B over hubs pos. C (Fig. 1).
1.8 Apply some sealing paste on the contact area of
sleaves pos.B and fix bolts pos. E and F.
For a correct tightening torque see Tab. C.
1.9 For the types PST, PDMM, etc., remove both lube
plugs pos. H of one sleeve pos. B and add grease in
sufficient amount to overflow with lubricant holes in
horizontal position.
For the types PFS, PSE, PSV and similar ones, repeat
this operation for the second sleeve.

POTENZIALMENTE ESPLOSIVO DI GIUNTI A DENTI

Nel caso di utilizzo in ambienti potenzialmente esplosivi di
giunti a denti ESCO devono essere prese delle specifiche
precauzioni così come descritte in questo allegato.
1 - Utilizzo dei giunti
I giunti sono idonei all’uso in ambiente potenzialmente
esplosivo in accordo alla direttiva Europea 94/9/EC (ATEX
100A) con temperatura ambientale non superiore a 50°C.
I giunti sono classificati nel gruppo II, categorie 2 e 3, classe di
temperatura T4 e sono idonei all’uso in atmosfera ove
l’esplosione potrebbe essere causata da gas, vapore, misto di
aria e polvere.
2 - Avvertimenti
Nessuna modifica potrà essere apportata al prodotto marcato.
In aggiunta alle usuali prescrizioni contenute nel manuale, in
atmosfera esplosiva devono essere seguiti i seguenti
avvertimenti:
- prima di procedere a qualunque operazione di installazione,
uso o manutenzione del giunto, assicurarsi che siano state
prese tutte le misure necessarie di sicurezza come (ma non
limitate a):
• ventilazione appropriata dell’area
• illuminazione ed apparecchiature elettriche appropriate
- Se il mozzo dovesse essere scaldato per il calettamento,
assicurarsi che la sorgente di calore e la temperatura
superficiale non inficino la sicurezza dell’area di lavoro.
- Si raccomanda di installare una robusta copertura, di
materiale anti scintilla e con aperture di ventilazione (se ci
fossero) più piccole del più piccolo componente che potrebbe
distaccarsi dal giunto (il tappo è 6 mm di diametro). La
copertura del giunto, ha lo scopo di proteggere l’area dai
componenti che potrebbero essere centrifugati dal giunto in
caso di guasto e dalle parti che potrebbero cadere sul giunto
stesso. Per limitare gli effetti della ventilazione, la distanza tra
il giunto e la copertura deve essere almeno di 50 mm.
3 - Installazione
In aggiunta alle usuali prescrizioni contenute nel manuale, in
atmosfera esplosiva devono essere seguiti i seguenti
avvertimenti:
- per l’allineamento in ambiente con bassa temperatura,
bisogna tenere in considerazione la possibile espansione
dovuta al riscaldamento durante il funzionamento;
- i massimi disallineamenti devono essere ridotti del 50%
rispetto a quelli indicati nel manuale;
- per migliorare il coefficiente d’attrito e la tenuta del grasso,
usare i seguenti lubrificanti indicati per i giunti a denti:
• TEXACO Coupling grease
• CALTEX Coupling grease
• KLUBER Kluberplex GE 11-680
• SHELL Albida GC1

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS
AREAS OF GEAR COUPLINGS

In case of use in potentially explosive
atmospheres of gear couplings, further to general
assembly and maintenance instructions, specific measures
described in this attachment must be taken.
1 - Use of the coupling
The coupling is dedicated for use in potentially explosive
atmospheres according to European Directive 94/9/CE
(Atex 100A), with ambient temperature not exceeding 50°C.
Coupling is classified in equipment group II, equipment
category 2 and 3, temperature class T4 and are intended for
use in areas in which explosive atmospheres caused by
gases, vapours, mists of air/dust mixtures are likely to
occur.
2 - Warnings
No modification is allowed on marked products.
In addition to general prescriptions stated in the manual, in
explosive atmosphere following warnings must be taken:
- before proceeding with any assembly, operation or
maintenance operation on the coupling, make sure that
the necessary measures have been taken to ensure
safety, such as but not limited to:
• proper ventilation of the area
• proper lightning and electrical tools.
- If hub must be heated for assembly on the shaft, make
sure heating source and surface temperature will not
affect the safety of the working area.
- It is recommended to have a strong coupling guard,
preferably in “no-spark” material with openings (if any)
smaller than the smallest centrifugable part (plug is 6 mm
diameter). The coupling guard is intended to protect the
environment from the centrifugation of any rotating part
and the rotating coupling from any falling part. To limit
ventilation effects, distance between cover and coupling
outside surface must be at least 50 mm.
3 - Assembly
In addition to general prescriptions stated in the manual, in
explosive atmosphere following warnings must be taken:
- For alignment of the machine in cold condition the
possible heat expansion in running conditions must be
take into account.
- Max misalignment must be reduced by 50% respect to
what indicated in the manual.
- To improve the friction coefficient and the leakage
resistance, use following lubricants dedicated for gear
couplings:
• TEXACO Coupling Grease
• CALTEX Coupling Grease
• KLÜBER Klüberplex GE 11-680
• SHELL Albida GC1.

4 - Funzionamento
Le istruzioni contenute nel manuale devono essere seguite in
ogni caso.
In atmosfera esplosiva attenersi, inoltre, alle seguenti istruzioni:
- prima dell’avviamento assicuratevi che:
• il giunto sia perfettamente pulito ed allineato;
• viti e dadi siano correttamente serrati;
• la copertura di sicurezza sia installata e fissata;
• il sistema di monitoraggio (se installato) sia stato
collaudato e che funzioni.
- durante l’avviamento
• controllare che non ci siano perdite di grasso. Nel caso ci
fossero, fermare immediatamente;
• controllare che non ci siano vibrazioni o rumori anomali.
Nel caso ci fossero, fermare immediatamente ed adottare
le misure più idonee.
- intervalli di controllo durante il funzionamento
• dopo le prime 2000 ore o dopo 6 mesi:
− controllare perdite, rumore, vibrazioni ed eventuale
mancanza di parti;
− che il movimento assiale della flangia sia libero rispetto
al mozzo.
• dopo 4000 ore o un anno:
− controllare perdite, rumore, vibrazioni ed eventuale
mancanza di parti;
− che il movimento assiale della flangia sia libero rispetto
al mozzo.
- controllo continuo durante il funzionamento
• fermare immediatamente in caso di vibrazioni, rumori od
altri fenomeni anomali;
• inoltre, se non fosse possibile eseguire un controllo diretto
a causa della difficoltà di accesso o per ragioni di
sicurezza, sarebbe opportuna l’installazione di un sistema
di monitoraggio.
5 - Manutenzione
Le istruzioni contenute nel manuale devono essere seguite in
ogni caso.
In atmosfera esplosiva attenersi, inoltre, alle seguenti istruzioni:
- ogni 6000 ore o 18 mesi:
• smontare il giunto ed ispezionarlo;
procedere come indicato al punto 3- Installazione.

4 - Operation
In addition to general prescriptions stated in the manual, in
explosive atmosphere following warnings must be taken:
- before Start-up
• Make sure coupling is perfectly aligned and clean.
• Make sure that screws, nuts and plugs are properly
tightened.
• Coupling guard must be properly installed and fixed.
• Monitoring system, if any, must be tested to verify its
effectiveness.
•
- During start up
• Check for any leakage. If any, stop the machine
immediately.
• Check for any abnormal noise and/or vibration. If any,
stop the machine immediately.
- Checking intervals during operation
• After the first 2000 hours or 6 months: check
− for leakage, noise, vibration and loss of parts;
− for free axial movement of the sleeves in regard of the
hubs.
• After 4000 hours or one year
− for leakage, noise, vibration and loss of parts;
− for free axial movement of the sleeves in regard of the
hubs
- Continuous checking
• Immediately stop the machine if noise, vibrations or other
abnormal phenomena are detected during operation.
• Furthermore, if direct check is not possible for access or
safety reasons, proper monitoring system has to be
installed to follow up couplings behaviour.
5 - Maintenance
The general assembly and maintenance instructions must
be followed in any case.
In explosive atmosphere, the following additional specific
instructions must be taken:
- Every 6.000 hours or 18 months:
• Dismount the coupling and inspect.
Proceed as indicated in paragraph 3 - Assembly.

GARANZIA BASE, TERMINI E CONDIZIONI

1) Premessa
TRANSFLUID garantisce che i propri prodotti, al momento della
spedizione, sono conformi alle specifiche pubblicate nei propri
cataloghi o documenti tecnici validi al momento della
spedizione stessa e che sono esenti da difetti nei materiali e
nella fabbricazione. Questi termini di garanzia sostituiscono
tutte le altre garanzie, anche legali, espresse o implicite,
comprese, a titolo esemplificativo e non esaustivo, le garanzie
di commerciabilità e di idoneità ad un uso particolare (e
qualsiasi garanzia implicita che sorga nel corso delle
prestazioni, nel corso delle trattative o dell’uso commerciale).
Fatti salvi i casi di dolo e colpa grave, in nessun caso
TRANSFLUID sarà responsabile per danni diretti, indiretti,
consequenziali, fortuiti od extracontrattuali basati su una
richiesta d’indennizzo da parte del Compratore per violazione
di garanzia, violazione di contratto, responsabilità oggettiva. In
nessun caso il risarcimento da parte di TRANSFLUID potrà
superare l’importo che il Compratore ha pagato per il prodotto
fornito da TRANSFLUID.
2) Durata e limiti di garanzia
a) La durata della garanzia è pari a ventiquattro (24) mesi dalla
data di spedizione del prodotto originale dallo stabilimento
TRANSFLUID.
b) I prodotti, se inutilizzati e stoccati a lungo termine, devono
essere immagazzinati e trattati in accordo alle linee guida
redatte da TRANSFLUID per tipologia di prodotto che sono
rese disponibili su richiesta.
c) La garanzia per le parti la cui usura o deterioramento è
fortemente legata alle condizioni di impiego (tensionamento
delle cinghie, condizioni ambientali, urti e sovraccarichi non
previsti), alla sensibilità dell’operatore (utilizzo entro i limiti
approvati), ad eventi esterni (inceppamenti della macchina
condotta), non opera se tali parti sono state utilizzate (non sono
nuove), o se non viene chiaramente dimostrato dal Compratore
un eventuale difetto di fabbricazione riconducibile a
TRANSFLUID.
Tipiche parti soggette ad usura o deteriorabili sono:
- filtri, tenute e guarnizioni
- molle, viti, tappi
- interruttori e fusibili
- materiali e superfici di attrito
- cinghie e catene
- lubrificanti in genere
- componenti elettrici (motori, strumenti, accessori, sensori…)
d) L’installazione e la manutenzione dei prodotti TRANSFLUID
deve essere eseguita in conformità a quanto indicato nel
manuale di installazione, uso e manutenzione che viene sempre
fornito a corredo di ogni prodotto ed utilizzando parti di ricambio
originali.
e) In caso di fornitura di componenti sfusi/disassemblati, la garanzia
copre solo ed esclusivamente eventuali difetti dei componenti
stessi, relativamente al materiale o alle lavorazioni meccaniche
effettuate da TRANSFLUID.
f) La garanzia decade nei casi in cui:
- il prodotto venga utilizzato oltre i limiti indicati nei cataloghi o
manuali di installazione o in applicazioni non approvate da
TRANSFLUID;
- la rottura derivi da abuso, negligenza, omessa o inadeguata
manutenzione, mancato collegamento o controllo dei
dispositivi di protezione o a seguito di incidenti;
- il prodotto venga modificato o disassemblato senza approvazione
scritta di TRANSFLUID;
- il prodotto venga mantenuto o riparato senza utilizzare parti di
ricambio originali.
3) Prestazioni incluse/escluse nella garanzia
a) Eventuali prodotti o componenti i cui difetti, ad insindacabile
giudizio di TRANSFLUID, sono coperti da garanzia, saranno
riparati o sostituiti senza alcun addebito, salvo quanto stabilito ai
punti successivi. Le parti sostituite saranno coperte dal residuo

1) Preamble
TRANSFLUID guarantees that at the time of shipment, its
products comply with the specifications published in its
catalogues or technical documents, which were valid at the time
of shipment, and that the products are free from defects in
material and workmanship. These terms of warranty supersede
all other warranties, including legal, expressed or implicit
warranties, including but not limited to, warranties of saleability
and suitability for a particular use (and any other implicit
warranties arising during the course of the services, negotiations
or commercial use). Except in the event of serious negligence
and fraud, under no circumstances will TRANSFLUID be held
liable for direct, indirect, consequential, fortuitous or extra
contractual damage based upon claims for compensation by the
Buyer for violation of the warranty, contract or objective
responsibility. Under no circumstances can the compensation
by TRANSFLUID exceed the amount paid by the Buyer for the
product supplied by TRANSFLUID.
2) Duration and limits of the warranty
a) The duration of the warranty is equal to twenty-four (24)
months from the date of shipment of the original product
from TRANSFLUID's plant.
b) Product that are not used and stored for a long period must be
kept and handled in keeping with the guidelines, which are
available upon request, drawn up by TRANSFLUID according to
product type.
c) The wear or tear of parts, which is particularly due to conditions
of use (tension of the belts, environmental conditions,
unforeseen knocks and overloading), or to the sensitivity of the
operator (use within the approved limits) or to external
circumstances (jamming of the machine), is not covered by the
warranty if these parts have been used (are not new), unless the
Buyer can clearly prove the manufacturing defect, which is
ascribable to TRANSFLUID.
Typical parts subject to wear or tear include:
- filters, seals and gaskets
- springs, screws, plugs
- switches and fuses
- material and friction surfaces
- belts and chains
- lubricants in general
- electric components (motors, instruments, accessories,
sensors...)
d) Installation and maintenance of TRANSFLUID products must be
carried out following the installation, use and maintenance
manual, which is always supplied with each product and using
original spare parts.
e) With regard to the supply of loose/disassembled parts, the
warranty solely and exclusively covers faults of the components
themselves, related to the material or mechanical workmanship
carried out by TRANSFLUID.
f) The warranty is no longer valid when:
- the product is used exceeding the limits stated in the
catalogues or installation manuals, or in applications that are
not approved by TRANSFLUID;
- breakage results from abuse, negligence, omission or
inadequate maintenance, failed connection or control of the
protection devices or as a result of accidents;
- the product is modified or disassembled without
TRANSFLUID’S written approval;
- the product is repaired or maintained without using original
spare parts.
3) Services included/excluded in the warranty
a) In TRANSFLUID’S final decision, products or components,
whose faults are covered by the warranty, will be repaired or
replaced at no extra cost, with the exception of the subsequent
points. The replaced parts will be covered from the remaining
period of the original warranty, which stays in force for the
product initially supplied (a new warranty period will therefore
not come into effect).

b) Sono esclusi dalla garanzia, e pertanto restano a carico del
Compratore, costi derivanti da:
- rimozione del prodotto TRANSFLUID dal macchinario in cui è
inserito e relativa rimessa in servizio;
- adeguato imballaggio ed oneri derivanti da trasporti di andata
e ritorno del materiale;
- ripristino di lubrificanti in genere, tubazioni, cofanature
insonorizzanti, carter, ecc.;
- qualsiasi altro costo non espressamente approvato per iscritto
da TRANSFLUID.
c) Per le operazioni di smontaggio/reinstallazione/messa in servizio
del prodotto, il Compratore potrà richiedere il supporto di un
tecnico specializzato inviando un regolare ordine di acquisto.
L’intervento sarà fatturato da TRANSFLUID applicando le
correnti tariffe ASSIOT (Associazione Italiana costruttori organi
di trasmissione, affiliata EUROTRANS).
d) TRANSFLUID non potrà essere ritenuta responsabile per
mancati o minori profitti, costi per macchinari sostitutivi, fermi
macchina, danni ad apparecchiature o proprietà causati da un
eventuale malfunzionamento dei propri prodotti.
4) Modalità di richiesta di prestazioni in garanzia
a) Il Compratore, qualora intenda avvalersi della garanzia, dovrà
informare TRANSFLUID per iscritto, entro 7 (sette) giorni dal
momento in cui si è evidenziato un difetto, comunicando:
- descrizione del prodotto;
- numero di serie (ove previsto), numero di specifica o codice
articolo;
- riferimento alla data ed al documento di acquisto o consegna;
- ragionevole prova che il difetto rientri nelle condizioni di
garanzia completata da una descrizione dettagliata
dell’anomalia o malfunzionamento ed eventualmente
supportata da fotografie.
In caso di malfunzionamento occorso dopo la messa in servizio
del prodotto, dovranno essere comunicati inoltre:
- tipo di applicazione;
- potenza e giri del motore (in caso di motore endotermico anche
marca e modello);
- diametro, tipo, numero gole e posizione puleggia (se
l’applicazione lo prevede);
- ore di funzionamento.
b) In base al prodotto coinvolto, al malfunzionamento segnalato,
all’urgenza di intervento, TRANSFLUID indicherà se il prodotto
stesso dovrà essere consegnato o spedito in porto franco ad un
centro autorizzato o direttamente presso la propria sede.
c) Una volta ricevuto il prodotto, TRANSFLUID o il distributore
autorizzato provvederanno ad una approfondita analisi; se il
prodotto sarà ritenuto coperto da garanzia:
- TRANSFLUID riparerà o sostituirà gratuitamente le parti
necessarie al ripristino della piena e sicura funzionalità; se il
prodotto NON sarà ritenuto coperto da garanzia,
TRANSFLUID:
- invierà un rapporto tecnico motivando la decisione;
- stilerà un preventivo di riparazione;
- solo dopo aver ottenuto l’ordine dal Compratore, procederà
con la riparazione.
d) I prodotti riparati saranno restituiti al Compratore in porto
assegnato, utilizzando lo stesso mezzo di trasporto con cui sono
pervenuti (a meno che non sia diversamente specificato).
e) Qualora il Compratore decida di non accettare il preventivo di
riparazione, dovrà comunicare per iscritto la propria decisione
chiedendo esplicitamente la rottamazione o la restituzione delle
parti che saranno spedite nello stato in cui si trovano.

b) Excluded from the warranty and remaining at the Buyer’s
expense are the costs resulting from:
- removal of the TRANSFLUID product from the machinery onto
which it is fitted, and recommissioning;
- suitable packing and charges resulting from the return
transport of the material;
- restoration of lubricants in general, piping, sound proof
canopies, guards, etc.;
- all other costs not expressly approved in writing by
TRANSFLUID.
c) The Buyer can request the support of a specialised technician to
disassemble/re-install/recommission the product by sending a
standard purchase order. TRANSFLUID will invoice the work,
applying the current ASSIOT rates (Italian Association of Gears
and Transmission Elements Manufacturers, a member of
EUROTRANS).
d) TRANSFLUID cannot be held liable for lost or reduced profit,
costs for replaced machinery, still machinery, damage to
equipment or property caused by failure of its products.
4) Conditions for requesting services under warranty
a) If the Buyer intends to take advantage of the warranty, he must
inform TRANSFLUID in writing within 7 (seven) days of
discovering a fault, stating:
- product description;
- serial number (where foreseen), specification number or article
code;
- reference to the date and document of purchase or delivery;
- reasonable proof that the fault falls within the conditions of
warranty, together with a detailed description of the irregularity
or failure and where possible, supported by photographs.
In the event of failure after commissioning the product, the
following must also be communicated:
- type of application;
- power and engine rpm (stating also the make and model for
endothermic engines);
- diameter, type, number of races and position of pulley (if
foreseen by the application);
- hours of operation.
b) TRANSFLUID will indicate whether the product must be
delivered or sent free port to an authorised centre or directly to
its own plant depending on the product concerned, the failure
indicated and the urgency of the intervention.
c) On receiving the product, TRANSFLUID or the authorised
distributor will carry out a thorough analysis; if the product is
deemed to be covered by the warranty:
- TRANSFLUID will repair or replace the parts needed to restore
full and safe working at no cost; If the product is NOT deemed
to be covered by the warranty, TRANSFLUID:
- will send a technical report explaining its decision;
- will draw up an estimate for the repair;
- will carry out the repair upon receipt of the order from the Buyer.
d) The repaired products will be returned to the Buyer freight collect,
by the same means of transport that was used for the arrival
(unless stated otherwise).
e) Should the Buyer decide not to accept the estimate for the repair,
he must communicate his decision in writing, explicitly asking for
