Scuola a Nagele

School, Nagele
In the Nagele school numbers were employed to relate 6 classrooms and 4 common spaces in a complex form (2 x 3 = 6 classrooms and 2 x 2 = 4 halls; that is, one for each group of three classrooms). The spatial system centers on the space for the services and the hall, with the six classrooms fanning out from this core. The classrooms are framed by wood elements that both define the view and close them on the hall side. As a result, the rhythm of the space is once again established by a spatial module where the alternating inside and outside places are edged by an external wall consisting in volumes and greenery that leads straight to the heart of the building. Casa a Venlo

House, Venlo
Two ample loggias are within a square brick building. The partitions are of wood. The children have the attic. The geometric structure of this house configures the spaces through a formal integration of a basic element (the square of bearing walls) and the roof. The rooms in the upper volume are linked by stairs placed in a void on both sides; from there light illuminates the living room below. The two loggias located at two corners of the square scoop out the volume, thereby causing the inside and outside spaces to coexist.
