2. PREMESSA - PREFACE
Il presente manuale raccoglie le
informazioni necessarie alla corretta
installazione, uso, programmazione,
manutenzione e smantellamento dei
prodotti Condaria nel rispetto dei requisiti
essenziale ambientali, di salute e sicurezza
secondo i quali esso è stato realizzato.
AVVERTENZE
Leggete attentamente tutte le indicazioni
riportate nel presente manuale. Prima di
iniziare l’installazione o di utilizzarlo,
imparate a conoscere a fondo il prodotto,
il suo funzionamento e dispositivi di
controllo e protezione.
Non rimandate l’apprendimento di queste
nozioni a quando state già installando o
utilizzando l’impianto.
Evitate che persone non addette e prive
delle opportune cognizioni effettuino
l’installazione o utilizzino l’impianto.

Le istruzioni contenute in questo manuale
si rivolgono a personale qualificato ed
esperto che sia a conoscenza delle
istruzioni e delle precauzioni di sicurezza
da applicare.

This handbook contains all information
needed for a correct installation, use,
programming, maintenance and disposal
of the Condaria products in the respect of
the environmental, health and safety
essential requirements according to which
it has been created.
WARNINGS
Read carefully all the directions contained
in this handbook.
Before installing or using the system, learn
carefully about the product, its operation
modes, safety and control devices.
Do not postpone learning these directions
when you are already installing or using the
system.
Unauthorized personnel without specific
knowledge must not install or use the
system.
This instruction handbook is destined to
all users and installers of air conditioners
who own a specific knowledge about
instructions and safety cares to apply.

4. DISIMBALLO E ISPEZIONE - UNPACKING AND INSPECTION
I materiali DOMETIC sono forniti
generalmente con imballo di cartone o film
trasparente. Durante lo scarico ed il
posizionamento degli stessi, va posta la
massima cura nell' evitare manovre
brusche per proteggere i componenti
interni.
Verificare che gli imballi non presentino
danni occorsi durante la spedizione.
Rimuovere i materiali dall’ imballaggio
evitando di afferrarli in punti delicati.
Se i materiali risultano danneggiati durante
il trasporto, annotare correttamente i
danni sulla ricevuta di spedizione.

DOMETIC materials are generally
delivered with cardboard package or
transparent film. When unloading and
placing the materials, carefully avoid
abrupt maneuvers to protect inside
components.
Check the packages do not have damages
due to the expedition.
Remove the materials from the package,
avoiding grasping them in their fragile
parts.
If the materials are damaged because of
the transport, note correctly the damages
on the delivery receipt.

5. MOVIMENTAZIONE - LIFT AND MOVIMENTATION
Per materiali forniti senza punti di
ancoraggio ( golfari ecc.), o comunque
completi di telaio di contenimento, evitare
di sollevarli agganciandosi a punti interni
Per materiali forniti con parti esterne al
telaio di contenimento utilizzare dei
distanziatori e gli eventuali punti di
ancoraggio ( golfari ecc.) previsti da
DOMETIC.

For the materials without any anchorage
(eye bolts, etc.) or equipped with a
reinforcing frame, avoid lifting them
anchoring to internal points.
For the materials with external parts to the
reinforcing frame use spacers and possible
anchorage points (eye bolts, etc.) supplied
by DOMETIC.

6. SMALTIMENTO - DISPOSAL

Raccogliere il materiale di imballaggio Put the packing material in the specific

7. ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA
La DOMETIC non si assume nessuna
responsabilità per danni risultanti dai
seguenti punti:
- errori di montaggio o di allacciamento
- danni all’apparecchio dovuti ad
influenze meccaniche o a sovratensioni
- modifiche all’apparecchio senza
esplicita autorizzazione scritta
- impiego per altri fini rispetto a quelli
descritti nel manuale di istruzioni
- mal funzionamenti imputabili a una
cattiva installazione
Tenere le apparecchiature fuori
dalla portata di personale non qualificato.
Usare l'apparecchio unicamente
per l'uso conforme alla sua destinazione.
Non alterare o modificare
all'apparecchio.
L' installazione e la riparazione
devono essere effettuati unicamente da
personale qualificato a conoscenza dei
pericoli connessi e delle relative norme.
Riparazioni inadeguate possono causare

DOMETIC is not responsible for
damages deriving from:
- assembly and connection errors
- machine damages due to mechanic
influences or overvoltage
- machine changes without any explicit
written authorization
- use for other purposes, different from
those described in the instruction’s
handbook
- malfunctioning caused by a wrong
installation
Keep the machine out of the reach
of unqualified personnel.
Only use the machine intended for
its destination.
Never alter or modify the machine.
Installation and repairing must be
carried out only by qualified personnel,
well knowing the related dangers and
concerning rules.
Inadequate repairs can cause serious
risks.
For the repair service, contact the nearest
Assistance Centre.

8. ALIMENTAZIONE ELETTRICA - ELECTRICAL SUPPLY
Tutti i collegamenti devono essere
eseguiti da personale tecnicamente
preparato e devono essere conformi alle
normative di sicurezza in vigore nel
paese in cui si installa l' impianto.
L'unità deve essere collegata ad un
efficace impianto di messa a terra tramite
un cavo di sezione adeguata.
Il cavo di alimentazione dell'impianto,
così come quello dei singoli componenti,
devono essere adeguati alla potenza
massima ammessa dai componenti
stessi.
L' alimentazione all'impianto deve essere
fornita tramite un interruttore
automatico.
Prima di ogni operazione di
manutenzione deve essere tolta
l'alimentazione generale all'impianto.

All connections must be carried out only
by technical personnel and they must be
complied with the safety rules in force in
the installation country.
The unit must be connected to an
effective grounding system by means of a
cable with an adequate diameter.
The system power supply cable – as well
as the one of each component – must be
suitable to the component maximum
power.
The system must be supplied by means
of an automatic switch.
The system general supply must be cut
out, before any maintenance operation.

9. DESCRIZIONE GENERALE - GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CARATTERISTICHE
- Pannello di comando a 8 tasti con display
che consente di effettuare le operazioni
principali facilmente
- Display alfanumerico a cristalli liquidi,
retroilluminato, su due righe da sedici
caratteri ciascuna, ed è per tanto in grado
di dialogare con l’utente tramite la
visualizzazione di messaggi in chiaro ed in
quattro lingue, a scelta italiano, inglese
francese o spagnolo, con i valori di
temperatura affissi in gradi centigradi
oppure in gradi fahrenheit.
- Ingressi per i sensori di alta e bassa
pressione del gas refrigerante
- Ritardo all’avvio del compressore o della
resistenza.
- Memoria non volatile per il salvataggio
delle impostazioni anche senza batterie
- Lo strumento essenziale è composto da
due parti: una scheda CPU e un display a
tastiera.
Le due schede sono intercollegate da un
sistema a quattro fili.

FEATURES
- 8-key control board with display enabling
to easily carry out main operations
- 16-character x 2-line LDC alphanumeric
display with backlight. It can interact with
the user by displaying unencoded
messages in four languages, choosing
among Italian, English, French or Spanish,
with temperature values reported in
degrees – Celsius of Fahrenheit.
- Inputs for sensors of high and low
pressure for refrigerant gas
- Delay in starting up the compressor or
resistance
- Non-volatile memory to save settings,
even without any batteries
- The basic device is composed of two
parts: a CPU board and a keyboard
display.
The two boards are interconnected by a
4-cable system.

Prima di ogni operazione sulle schede e
sui pannelli, assicurarsi che l’alimentazione
elettrica sia disconnessa.
L’alimentazione della scheda elettroniche
deve essere eseguita attenendosi al
manuale di installazione e alle norme o ai
codici di regolamentazione navali.
Collegamenti elettrici inadeguati o
incompleti potrebbero causare scosse
elettriche o incendi.
Fissare saldamente le connessioni dei cavi
in modo che i morsetti non siano soggetti
a forze esterne. Collegamenti o fissaggi
incompleti potrebbero causare un
surriscaldamento dei morsetti o incendi.
Fissare saldamente le schede e/o i
pannelli.
Eseguire la messa a terra con un cavo di
sezione adeguata.
Le schede e i pannelli devono essere
alimentati alla rete e collegati seguendo le
indicazioni e gli schemi allegati.
Le schede devono essere alimentate alla
rete con cavi di sezione minima
dipendente dalla tipologia del cavo e dal
carico massimo applicato (potenza della
macchina).

ELECTRONIC BOARD AND PANEL
INSTALLATION
Before carrying out any operation on
boards and panels, make sure the power
supply is cut out.
The electronic board must be supplied in
compliance with the installation handbook
and the standards and codes of the naval
set of rules. Unsuited or incomplete
electrical connections could provoke
electric shocks or fires.
Fasten tightly the cable connections to
avoid the clamps to undergo external
forces. Incomplete connections or
fastenings could provoke clamp
overheating or fires.
Fasten tightly the boards and/or the
panels.
Grounding must be carried out by a cable
with a suitable diameter.
Boards and panels must be supplied by the
network and connected according to the
attached instructions and plans.
Boards must be powered by the network
by means of cables with minimum
diameter, according to the cable type and
to the maximum charge applied (machine
power).

11. COLLEGAMENTI ELETTRICI - WIRING DIAGRAM
Eseguire i collegamenti tra il quadro
elettrico, se separato, e la scatola di
derivazione montata sull’unità
rispettando accuratamente le sigle ed i
numeri sulle morsettiere corrispondenti.
Rispettare la sezione originale dei cavi.
Se il quadro è installato ad una distanza
superiore a 10 - 12 metri dal gruppo,
aumentare di conseguenza la sezione dei
cavi.
La connessione viene effettuata a mezzo
terminali precablati, in allegato gli schemi
standard.
Fare comunque riferimento alla
documentazione allegata ai materiali in
fase di consegna.

Connect electrically the ECP, if it is
remote, to the small unit-mounted
panel, checking carefully to connect
corresponding nos. and letters on the
terminal strips. Use cable of the original
cross section. If the ECP is installed at
more than 10-12 mts. away from the
unit, increase the cross section of the
cables accordingly.
Prewired connections are used for a
simple assembly of the unit, attached
standard wiring diagram.
Refer to the specific documentation
attached to the materials being
delivered.

13. DISPLAY REMOTO - REMOTE DISPLAY
Sulla scheda ci sono due morsetti per il
collegamento dei display.
Il pannello remoto può essere collegato
indifferentemente su entrambi i morsetti
di collegamento dei Display della scheda ,
seguendo il seguente schema:
- Il morsetto P0 della scheda deve essere
collegato al morsetto P0 del pannello
remoto;
- Il morsetto SA della scheda deve essere
collegato al morsetto SA del pannello
remoto;
- Il morsetto SB della scheda deve essere
collegato al morsetto SB del pannello
remoto;
- Il morsetto P12 della scheda deve
essere collegato al morsetto P12 del
pannello remoto.
Per il collegamento utilizzare un cavo da 4
fili X 0,5 mm2. Non è necessario che
questo cavo sia schermato.

The board is equipped with two clamps
for the display connection.
The remote panel can be connected to
both connecting clamps of the board
display, without any distinction and
according to the following pattern:
- P0 clamp of the board must be
connected to the P0 clamp of the
remote panel;
- SA clamp of the board must be
connected to the SA clamp of the
remote panel;
- SB clamp of the board must be
connected to the SB clamp of the
remote panel;
- P12 clamp of the board must be
connected to the P12 clam of the
remote panel.
A 4 wire x 0.5 mm2 cable must be used for
the connection. A shielded cable is not
required.

Per accendere o spegnere l’impianto
premere ON/OFF.
Ad impianto acceso il display mostra un
messaggio di stato simile all’esempio
seguente:
Il valore visualizzato nel campo 1 mostra
la temperatura dell’acqua dolce refrigerata
o calda in uscita dal gruppo.
Il messaggio visualizzato nel campo 2
indica il modo di funzionamento
dell’impianto, dove COOLING sta per
raffreddamento ed HEATING per
riscaldamento.
Il campo 3 indica le pompe mare (o PB se
è in modalità HEATING con il boiler) in
funzione ed il numero delle stesse
installate.
Il campo 4 indica le pompe acqua dolce in
funzione ed il numero delle stesse
installate.
Il campo 5 si riferisce ai compressori
installati (carattere C), oppure, se è
presente il boiler elettrico in modalità
HEATING si riferisce alle resistenze
installate (carattere R).

To switch the plant on and off, press
ON/OFF.
When the plant is on, the display shows a
message similar to the following example:
The displayed value in field 1 shows the
temperature of the refrigerated or hot
fresh water coming out from the unit.
The message displayed in field 2 shows the
plant functioning mode: COOLING and
HEATING.
Field 3 shows the sea water pumps (or PB
if in HEATING mode with the boiler)
which are operating and the number of the
installed pumps.
Field 4 shows the fresh water pumps
which are operating and the number of the
installed pumps.
Field 5 refers to the installed compressors
(C character), or if the electric boiler is
present the plant is in HEATING mode, it
refers to the installed resistances (R
character).

Una cifra fissa indica che il relativo
compressore o la resistenza boiler sono
operativi.
Una cifra lampeggiante indica che il relativo
compressore/resistenza boiler è operativa
ma in attesa (temporizzato). Un trattino al
posto della cifra indica che il relativo
compressore/resistenza boiler è in
standby. (La temperatura settata è
soddisfatta).
La lettera “D” invece della cifra indica che
il relativo compressore/resistenza boiler è
intenzionalmente escluso (vedere
“Impostazioni Utente”).
A fixing digit shows that the concerning
compressor or resistance are operational.
A flashing digit shows that the concerning
compressor/resistance is operational but
waiting (timed). A dash instead of the digit
shows the compressor/boiler resistance is
in standby. (Set temperature is satisfied).
A “D” letter instead of the digit shows the
compressor/boiler resistance is excluded
on purpose.
(see “User settings”).

Il Chiller Organizer ottimizza le ore di
funzionamento di ogni singolo
compressore o resistenza boiler,
inserendo per primo il compressore o la
resistenza che ha un minor numero di ore
di funzionamento, in modo da ottenere un
livellamento dell’utilizzo.
Lo strumento prevede due livelli di
programmazione, il primo riservato alla
fabbrica ed ai centri di assistenza, il
secondo livello è riservato all'utenza, è
accessibile con il tasto MENU ed è
descritto nel capitolo successivo.
Le temperature di funzionamento sono
già preimpostate dalla fabbrica, quindi una
volta selezionato la modalità di
funzionamento non occorre fare altro.
Il pannello Top Chiller fa uso di una
memoria non volatile che non richiede
batterie o altre forme alternative di
alimentazione. Quando manca la corrente
i parametri di funzionamento rimangono
memorizzati nel sistema. Quando si
ripristina l’alimentazione il sistema
riprende a funzionare con i parametri
programmati l’ultima volta

Chiller Organizer optimizes the hours of
functioning of each single compressor or
the boiler resistance by using firstly the
compressor or heater that having a minor
number of hours of functioning, so as to
level the use.
The device is equipped with two
programming levels: the first is reserved to
the factory and to the service centres while
the second is dedicated to the user, it can
be accessible by pressing the MENU key
and it is described in the next chapter.
Functioning temperatures are set by
default by the manufacturer. After
selecting the functioning mode, nothing
else is needed.
Top Chiller panel is equipped with a non-
volatile memory which does not require
the use of batteries or any other power
supply. In case of black out, functioning
parameters are stored in the system.
When the current is restored, the system
starts to operate with the parameters
programmed the last time.

sistema. Premere il tasto Power una volta
per accendere il dispositivo. Quando il
dispositivo è in funzione, il Led presente
sul tasto è illuminato.
NOTA:
I quattro led di cooling, heating, menu ed
alimentazione, quando lampeggiano
contemporaneamente, segnalano uno
stato di allarme cumulativo.
L'allarme specifico viene indicato sul
display tramite un messaggio in chiaro.

16. FUNZIONAMENTO - FUNCTIONING MODE
Modalità Spento (Off)
Quando il Chiller Organizer è in Modalità
Spento, tutte le uscite del pannello di
comando sono disattivate. I parametri del
programma e le impostazioni dell’utente
sono salvati nella memoria non volatile. Al
menu fabbrica si può accedere solo dalla
Modalità Spento.
Modalità Acceso (On)
Quando il pannello di comando è in
Modalità Acceso, le relative uscite saranno
alimentate e il display indicherà la corrente
modalità di funzionamento. I parametri di
funzionamento e di programmazione
attivati saranno quelli memorizzati prima
dell’ultimo spegnimento.
Modalità Freddo
Quando il Led FREDDO è acceso, sono
attivati e saranno in servizio solo i sistemi
di raffreddamento. Quando la
temperatura scende al di sotto del valore
predefinito il sistema non passerà
automaticamente in modalità caldo. Per
attivare la modalità FREDDO quando si è
in modalità CALDO premere il tasto
COOL.
Modalità Caldo
Quando il Led CALDO è acceso, sono
attivati e saranno in servizio solo i sistemi
di riscaldamento. Quando la temperatura
sale al di sopra del valore predefinito il
sistema non passerà automaticamente in
modalità freddo. Per attivare la modalità
CALDO quando si è in modalità FREDDO
premere il tasto HEAT.

Off mode
When the Chiller Organizer is in Off
mode, all the control board outputs are
disabled. Programming parameters and
user settings are stored in the non-volatile
memory.
Factory menu can be accessed only by Off
mode.
On mode
When the control board is in On mode,
the relative outputs are fed and the display
will show the actual functioning mode.
Enabled operations and programming
modes are the ones stored before last
updating.
Cooling mode
When the COOL led is on, only cooling
systems are enabled and running.
When the temperature goes under the set
value, the system does not automatically
switch to Heating mode.
To enable the Cooling mode from Heating
mode, press COOL.
Heating mode
When the HEAT led is on, only heating
systems are enabled and running. When
the temperature goes beyond the set
value, the system does not automatically
switch to Cooling mode. To enable the
Heating mode from Cooling mode, press
HEAT.

27. PROGRAMMAZIONE - PROGRAMMING
Questa sezione del manuale è riservata
esclusivamente al personale tecnico:
modificare questi parametri può
compromettere il corretto funzionamento
dell’impianto. Si raccomanda pertanto di
non modificare i parametri descritti di
seguito. Ogni variazione non autorizzata
farà decadere immediatamente la garanzia
del prodotto da parte di Condaria.
28. MENU PROGRAMMAZIONE - PROGRAMMING MENU
Per accedere al menu programmazione è
necessario spegnere il display con il tasto
POWER e seguire la seguente procedura
ten ere premuti contemporaneamente i
tasti ESC e ENT; apparirà la dicitura
FACTORY SET UP.
Per modificare il parametro occorre:
1) Premere il tasto ENT (il cursore
lampeggia)
2) Impostare il parametro premendo i
tasti SU o GIU
3) Confermare la scelta con ENT
4) Passare agli altri parametri con i tasti SU
o GIU

Questo parametro è la banda
proporzionale della termoregolazione, ed
è utilizzato esclusivamente se sono
presenti gli INVERTER. In pratica è il
valore di temperatura oltre il SET POINT
a cui tutti i compressori funzionano al
massimo della potenza. Al di sotto di quel
valore di temperatura l’ultimo
compressore comincia a diminuire la
potenza fino a spegnersi. L’intervallo di
spegnimento dei restanti compressori
viene ricavato automaticamente dalla
scheda dividendo il valore di questo
parametro per il numero di compressori
installati.
P27:
TIMER SBRINAMENTO
Questo parametro indica il tempo in cui la
macchina funziona in modalità di
sbrinatura, dopo l’intervento dell’allarme
antigelo di una delle sonde. Questa
modalità di funzionamento, è disponibile
