1.1 - INTRODUZIONE
Il presente manuale è stato redatto dal costruttore e costituisce
parte integrante della macchina stessa; deve pertanto essere
conservato con cura e per tutta la vita della macchina fino
alla demolizione in un luogo sicuro ed accessibile a tutti gli
utilizzatori (operatori e personale addetto alla manutenzione).
Nel caso di vendita della macchina, assicurarsi di consegnare
al nuovo acquirente il presente manuale e tutta la documen-
tazione tecnica allegata.
Eventuali copie del manuale e della documentazione fornita a
corredo possono essere richieste al costruttore specificando
il tipo ed il numero di matricola della macchina.
1.1.a - SCOPO DEL MANUALE
Scopo del manuale è di fornire le istruzioni necessarie per
la messa in servizio, l’uso e la manutenzione della macchina
alla quale sono riferite.
Una attenta lettura delle istruzioni e la scrupolosa osservanza
delle norme di sicurezza fornite nel manuale garantiscono di
ottenere i migliori risultati in termini di prestazioni, sicurezza
operativa, efficacia, economia di esercizio e durata nel tempo
della macchina.
La mancata osservanza di tali istruzioni potrebbe causare
danni alla macchina, all’uomo ed all’ambiente che in nessun
caso potranno essere imputati al costruttore.
Le indicazioni e le istruzioni fornite nel manuale non inten-
dono comunque sostituire, integrare o modificare qualsiasi
NORMA, PRESCRIZIONE, DECRETO o LEGGE di carat-
tere generale o specifico in vigore nel luogo in cui opera la
macchina e riguardanti la sicurezza, l’uso e la manutenzione
di apparecchiature o dispositivi meccanici, elettrici, chimici,
oleodinamici, pneumatici o altro.
1.1.b - CONSULTAZIONE DEL MANUALE
Il manuale è suddiviso in capitoli secondo un ordine logico
di conoscenza ed impiego della macchina.
Per facilitare la ricerca degli argomenti di interesse, consultare
prima l’INDICE DEI CAPITOLI riportato all’inizio del manuale
e quindi ricercare le specifiche informazioni nell’indice del
capitolo individuato.
1.1.c - LEGENDA SIMBOLI
Per evidenziare informazioni e procedure relative alla sicu-
rezza di impiego, manutenzione, ecc..., nel manuale sono
stati adottati i seguenti simboli:
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Avvertimento dell’esistenza di seri pericoli per l’incolu-
mità fisica o danni per la salute dell’operatore e/o terze
persone.
Osservare scrupolosamente le precauzioni elencate.
AVVERTENZA:
Informazioni di estrema importanza atte ad evitare seri
danni alla macchina ed all’ambiente in cui opera.

1.1 - INTRODUCTION
This manual has been prepared by the manufacturer and
constitutes an integral part of the machine; it must therefore
be kept with care and in a safe place easily accessible to all
users (operators and service personnel) for the machine’s
entire life time up to its demolition.
If the machine should be sold, make sure to give this manual,
as well as all the enclosed technical documents, to the new
owner.
Copies of this manual and of the documents accompany-
ing the machine may be requested to the manufacturer by
specifying the type of machine and its serial number.
1.1.a - PURPOSE OF THE MANUAL
The purpose of this manual is to provide all the instructions
necessary for the vehicle’s operation, use and maintenance.
By carefully reading the instructions and by scrupulously
observing the safety rules contained herein it is possible
to obtain the best possible results in terms of performance,
safety, efficiency, operational management and duration of
the machine.
Non-observance of such instructions could cause damage
or harm to the machine, to people and to the environment
which cannot, in any case, be blamed on the manufacturer.
The indications and instructions of this manual are not meant
to substitute, integrate or modify any REGULATION, DIREC-
TIVE, DECREE or LAW of a general or a specific nature in
force in the country where the machine is to operate regard-
ing safety, use and maintenance of mechanical, electric,
chemical, oil-pressure, pneumatic or other types of devices.
1.1.b - READING THE MANUAL
The manual is subdivided in chapters according to a logical
sequence of knowledge and use of the machine. To easily
search for the topics of interest, first look at the CHAPTER
SUMMARY at the beginning of this manual and then look
for the specific information in the summary of the identified
chapter.
1.1.c - LEGEND OF THE SYMBOLS
To emphasize information and procedures regarding safety
of use, maintenance, etc... the following symbols are used
throughout the manual:
WARNING DANGER:
It indicates that a serious danger exists for the operator’s
or other people’s personal safety or health.
Scrupulously observe the indicated precautions.
CAUTION:
Very important information to avoid serious damage to
the machine and to the environment in which it works.

1.1.d - TERMINOLOGIA USATA NEL MANUALE
Nel manuale è stata adottata la seguente terminologia:
Il termine Macchina viene utilizzato in sostituzione della
denominazione commerciale a cui il presente manuale si
riferisce.
I termini anteriore, posteriore, destro, sinistro, inferiore,
superiore sono riferiti alla macchina vista dall’operatore al
posto di guida.
Il termine OPT (opzionale) identifica gli accessori installabili
a richiesta e pertanto non sempre presenti sulla macchina.
In sostituzione della denominazione completa del costruttore
“Dulevo International S.p.A.” sono utilizzati i termini Dulevo
o costruttore.
1.2 - AVVERTENZE GENERALI
1.2.a - AVVERTENZE PER OPERATORI
Prima della messa in servizio, dell’uso e della manutenzione
della macchina è necessario che gli operatori e i manutentori
della medesima siano a conoscenza delle procedure operati-
ve, delle prescrizioni e delle norme di sicurezza riportate nel
presente manuale e nella eventuale documentazione allegata
relativa a motore, batterie, ecc... e che abbiano compiuto un
addestramento pratico sulla macchina.
1.2.b - POSIZIONE DELL’OPERATORE
L’operatore, durante il lavoro è seduto al posto di guida o
opera attorno alla macchina solo quando usa l’aspirafoglie
manuale (OPT) o la lancia acqua alta pressione (OPT).
1.2.c - RESPONSABILITA’ DEL COSTRUTTORE
Il costruttore, Dulevo, non si riterrà responsabile di inconve-
nienti, rotture, incidenti ecc..., dovuti alla non conoscenza
(o comunque alla non applicazione) delle avvertenze e
istruzioni contenute nel presente manuale.
Lo stesso dicasi per qualsiasi uso non coretto, abuso, o
per l’esecuzione di modifiche, varianti e/o l’installazione di
accessori non autorizzati preventivamente per iscritto da
Dulevo. Fare riferimento alla garanzia Dulevo.
In particolare Dulevo declina ogni responsabilità per
danni derivanti da:
- Calamità naturali
- Manovre errate
- Mancanza di manutenzione
Il costruttore non risponde dei danni di qualsiasi tipo (a per-
sone, animali, cose e alla macchina) causati da interventi
sulla macchina (per manutenzione, riparazioni, ecc...) se detti

1.1.d - TERMINOLOGY USED IN THE MANUAL
The following terminology has been used in this manual:
The term Machine is used instead of the commercial name
to which this manual refers.
The terms front, back, right, left, lower, upper refer to the
machine as seen by the operator sitting on the driver’s seat.
The term OPT (optional) indicates the accessories that may
be applied on request and which are therefore not always
present on the machine.
The terms Dulevo or manufacturer are used instead of
the manufacturer’s full name “Dulevo International S.p.A.”.
1.2 - GENERAL WARNINGS
1.2.a - OPERATORS’INSTRUCTIONS
Before operating, using or servicing the machine, its opera-
tors and service personnel must be knowledgeable about the
operating procedures, directions and safety standards listed
in the present manual and in the other enclosed documents
relative to engine, batteries, etc...
Furthermore, they must have been practically trained to
operate the machine.
1.2.b - OPERATOR’S POSITION
When the operator is working, he is seated on the driver’s
seat or operates around the machine only when he’s using
the manual leaf-suction hose (OPT) or the high-pressure
nozzle (OPT).
1.2.c - MANUFACTURER’S RESPONSIBILITY
The manufacturer, Dulevo, declines any responsibility arising
from breaks, accidents, etc... due to the lack of knowledge
(or to the lack of application)of the warnings and instructions
contained in this manual, or for any misuse, abuse or for any
change, variation and/or installation of accessories that has
not been previously authorized in writing by Dulevo.
Please see Dulevo’s warranty.
In particular Dulevo declines any responsibility for any
damage caused by:
- Acts of God
- Wrong maneuvers
- Lack of maintenance
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damages
of any type (including but not limited to property damage,
damage to the machine, personal injury or death) caused

Per le macchine di cui l’autotelaio non è di produzione Dule-
vo, Dulevo non è responsabile della gestione della garanzia
e delle operazioni di manutenzione relative all’autotelaio.
Per la gestione della garanzia e per le operazioni di manu-
tenzione è necessario rivolgersi alle officine autorizzate dal
costruttore dell’autotelaio.
1.2.d - ASSISTENZA TECNICA
Il costruttore mette al servizio della clientela il proprio Ser-
vizio Assistenza Tecnica per risolvere qualunque problema
riguardante l’impiego e la manutenzione della macchina.
Le eventuali richieste di intervento tecnico devono essere
fatte dopo una attenta analisi degli inconvenienti e delle
loro cause.
Nel caso di richieste scritte si prega di specificare nel mes-
saggio quanto segue:
- Modello macchina
- Numero matricola
- Il dettaglio dei difetti riscontrati
- I controlli eseguiti
- Le regolazioni effettuate ed i loro effetti
- Ogni altra informazione ritenuta utile

L’utilizzo di ricambi non originali fa decadere la garanzia e

Dulevo’s AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL (except for different
agreements authorized by Dulevo).
For machines with chassis not manufactured by Dulevo,
Dulevo is not responsible for warrantee managing and
maintenance operations related to the chassis.
Refer to authorised workshops of the chassis manufacturer
for warrantee management and maintenance operations.
1.2.d - SERVICING
The manufacturer offers its customer its own Technical As-
sistance Service to solve any problem concerning machine
use and maintenance.
Any request for technical assistance must be made after a
careful analysis of the problems and their causes.
In case of a written request, please specify the following:
- Machine model
- Serial number
- Detail of the problems encountered
- Inspections that have been performed
- Adjustments made and their outcome
- Any other useful information

Exclusively use ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS supplied by the
manufacturer.
The use of unoriginal spare parts voids the warranty and
makes the user responsible for any incident caused by the
unoriginal components.

1.3 - NORME COSTRUTTIVE
E MARCATURA CE
La progettazione e realizzazione della presente macchina è
conforme ai fondamentali requisiti per la sicurezza e la salute
dell’utilizzatore previsti dalle direttive europee elencate nel
certificato di conformità CE allegato al presente manuale.
NOTA:
La marcatura CE di conformità alle direttive dell’Unione
Europea è posta sulla targhetta di identificazione della
macchina (vedere capitolo 3).
1.4 - CONSEGNA DELLA MACCHINA
- La macchina viene collaudata e controllata dal costruttore
prima dell’uscita dallo stabilimento. La rete di vendita è
tenuta ad effettuare ulteriori controlli prima della conse-
gna.
- Alla consegna della macchina controllare che sia com-
pleta degli accessori richiesti, del set di utensili e che a
corredo sia presente la seguente documentazione:
- Manuale uso e manutenzione della macchina;
- Manuale ricambi;
- Dichiarazione CE di conformità;
- Libretto di garanzia;
- Eventuale documentazione relativa a motore, batterie,
accessori, schemi (elettrici, idraulici ed idrici), ecc...
NOTA:
Firmare il certificato allegato al libretto di garanzia ed
inviarlo alla Dulevo International S.p.A.
Accertate queste condizioni, confermare al concessionario
la regolare consegna.
1.5 - USO PREVISTO DELLA
MACCHINA
La macchina può essere impiegata solamente per effettuare
i lavori di pulizia stradale e/o industriale, per la raccolta di
polveri, detriti, carte, foglie, ecc...
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Se la macchina è destinata a raccogliere detriti e sab-
bia intrisi di olio e carburante come ad esempio negli
aeroporti, deve essere appositamente attrezzata dal
costruttore.
Non utilizzare la macchina per questa applicazione se i
componenti specifici non sono stati installati.
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Qualsiasi altro utilizzo rende l’utilizzatore l’unico re-
sponsabile per danni a persone e/o cose e fa decadere
qualsiasi condizione di garanzia.

1.3 - CONSTRUCTIONAL
REGULATIONS AND EC
MARKING
Design and development of this machine complies with the
fundamental safety and health requirements set forth by the
European directives listed in the EC conformity certificate
enclosed with this manual.
NOTE:
The EC marking of conformity to European Union direc-
tives is located on the machine’s ID tag (see chapter 3).
1.4 - MACHINE DELIVERY
- The machine is inspected and tested by the manufacturer
before it leaves the factory.
The sales network must run further inspections before
delivery.
- When the machine is delivered, check that it is complete
with all the requested accessories and the tool kit, and
that it is accompanied by the following documents:
- Machine use and maintenance manual;
- Spare parts manual;
- EC Conformity declaration;
- Warranty;
- Other documents related to engine, batteries, fittings,
schematics (electrical, hydraulic or water), etc...
NOTE:
Sign the certificate attached to the warranty booklet and
send it to Dulevo International S.p.A.
After having checked all these conditions, inform the dealer
about its regular delivery.
1.5 - EXPECTED USE OF THE
MACHINE
The machine can be used exclusively to carry out road and/
or industrial cleaning operations, to collect dust, debris,
paper, leaves, etc...
WARNING DANGER:
If the machine is meant to collect debris and sand soaked
with oil and fuel, in airports for example, it must be ap-
propriately equipped by the manufacturer.
If these components are not installed, do not use the
machine for this application.
WARNING DANGER:
Any other use makes the user the only one responsible
for damages to people and/or things and voids all war-
ranty conditions.

1.6 - USO NON PREVISTO DELLA
MACCHINA
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
È vietato spazzare, raccogliere e/o aspirare qualsiasi
tipo di materiale che brucia (anche senza fiamma),
incandescente o avente temperatura superiore a 50°C
(120°F). Mai spazzare, raccogliere e/o aspirare qualsiasi
tipo di materiale/rifiuto infiammabile, esplosivo, tossico,
cancerogeno (benzina, olio combustibile, acidi, solventi,
diluenti per vernici, acetone, anche se diluiti) e/o altre
sostanze che rappresentano un pericolo per la salute a
meno che Dulevo abbia equipaggiato la macchina con
attrezzature specifiche per questo tipo di lavoro.
Non utilizzare il veicolo se non si è sicuri che lo stesso
non sia stato adeguatamente attrezzato.
1.6.a - ZONE CON RISCHIO DI ESPLOSIONE
È assolutamente vietato utilizzare la macchina in ambienti
con rischio di esplosione dove sono presenti gas, vapori,
liquidi e polveri infiammabili ed esplosive.
1.6.b - TRASPORTO - TRAINO
Non utilizzare la macchina per il trasporto di cose e/o per-
sone o per il traino.
1.7 - LIMITAZIONI D’IMPIEGO
- Gli operatori, per poter raggiungere agevolmente tutti i
comandi e per evitare posizioni ergonomicamente scor-
rette devono avere un’altezza non inferiore a 1,50 m
(60 pollici) e non superiore a 2,05 m (80 pollici) (scarpe
comprese).
- Utilizzando la macchina in ambienti con detriti corrosivi
o in climi estremi, in presenza di forti campi magnetici,
di aria ed acqua salmastra, ecc..., consultare la rete di
vendita per informazioni supplementari sull’uso e la ma-
nutenzione.
- Il filtro della cabina non toglie la responsabilità di dotare
l’operatore di particolari attrezzature filtranti o respiratorie
secondo le specifiche normative dell’ambiente di utilizzo;
l’utilizzatore è tenuto ad utilizzare sempre dispositivi di
protezione della respirazione in conformità con le norme
locali in vigore.
- Pioggia intensa: la raccolta dei detriti è di difficile attua-
zione.
- La macchina può essere utilizzata con il contenitore
sollevato/ribaltato solo nei seguenti casi:
- scarico contenitore rifiuti (vedere capitolo 5);
- operazioni di manutenzione (vedere capitolo 6).
AVVERTENZA:
Nel caso di utilizzo della macchina per la raccolta di
materiali particolarmente pesanti e/o voluminosi (terra,
ghiaia, sabbia, detriti di asfalto stradale, ecc...), prestare
attenzione a non superare il carico massimo previsto del-
la macchina e la capacità di riempimento del contenitore.

1.6 - UNEXPECTED USE OF THE
MACHINE
WARNING DANGER:
Never sweep, collect and/or suck any type of material,
which is burning/smoldering incandescent or having a
temperature higher than 50°C (120°F).
Never sweep, collect and/or suck any type of flammable,
explosive, toxic, carcinogenic material/waste (gasoline,
fuel oil, acids, solvents, thinners for varnishes, acetone,
even if diluted) and/or other substances that are harmful
for people’s health, unless specific equipment for this
application, is installed on the machine by Dulevo.
Do not use the machine for these applications if you are
not sure that it is properly equipped.
1.6.a - AREAS WITH EXPLOSION HAZARD
It is strictly forbidden to use the machine in places where
there is a risk of explosion due to gases, vapors, fluids, and
inflammable and explosive powders.
1.6.b - TRANSPORTATION - TOWING
Do not use the machine to transport or tow people and/or
things.
1.7 - USE RESTRICTIONS
- In order to be able to reach all the control devices with
ease and avoid any ergonomically incorrect position,
the operators’ height must be neither inferior to 1,50 m
(60 inch) and nor superior to 2,05 m (80 inch) (shoes
included).
- When using the machine in environments with corrosive
debris or extreme climates, heavy magnetic fields, saline
air and brackish water, etc… please consult the sales
network for additional use/maintenance requirements.
- Although the cab is equipped with a filter, the operator
is responsible for providing other filtering or respiratory
equipment as requested by the standards in force in the
places where the machine is used; the user must always
use respiratory protection devices in compliance with the
local standards in force.
- Heavy rain: debris collection is hard to carry out.
- The machine can be employed with the hopper lifted/tilted
exclusively in the following cases:
- unloading of waste hopper (see chapter 5);
- maintenance operations (see chapter 6).
CAUTION:
If the machine is to be used to collect particularly heavy
and/or bulky materials (dirt, gravel, sand, blacktop de-
bris, etc...) do not exceed the machine’s maximum load
capacity and the waste container’s full load capacity.

1.7.a - EMISSIONI GASSOSE DEI MOTORI A COMBU-
STIONE INTERNA
Nell’impiego di veicoli con motori a combustione interna,
(benzina, gasolio, GPL, metano ecc...), attenersi alle norme
locali in vigore.
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Mai utilizzare la macchina con motore a combustione
interna in ambienti non adeguatamente aerati.
1.8 - CONTROLLI
Prima di iniziare il lavoro, CONTROLLARE che tutti i disposi-
tivi di sicurezza e di emergenza siano al loro posto, in buone
condizioni e che funzionino regolarmente.
Non mettere in funzione la macchina se si notano protezioni
di sicurezza, carter, comandi, strumenti, spie, cicalini di av-
viso fuori posto o il cui funzionamento non è corretto.
Detti controlli, devono essere eseguiti:
- Prima della messa in funzione della macchina;
- Ad intervalli di tempo regolari (vedere capitolo 6);
- Dopo ogni modifica o riparazione;
- Vedere anche “Controlli preliminari, capitolo 5”.
Controllo dispositivi di sicurezza
I dispositivi di sicurezza (vedere capitolo 2.2) della macchina
devono essere controllati ogni sei mesi da personale tecnico
adeguatamente addestrato.
Dopo la verifica il tecnico dovrà compilare un verbale dell’av-
venuto controllo.
Revisione generale
Ogni 9000 ore di funzionamento (rilevabili dal contaore di
bordo) o comunque almeno ogni 5 anni, la macchina deve
essere sottoposta ad una revisione generale da parte di una
officina autorizzata Dulevo.

1.7.a - GAS EMISSION OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION
ENGINES
When using vehicles with internal combustion engines (gaso-
line, diesel, LPG, methane, etc...), please comply with the
the local standards in force.
WARNING DANGER:
Never use the machine with internal combustion engines
in areas which are not properly ventilated.
1.8 - CHECKS
Before beginning work, CHECK that all safety and emer-
gency devices are in place, in good condition and working
properly.
Do not start the machine if any safety shield, guard, control,
instrument, signal light or signal buzzer, or other protective
device, is not in place and working properly.
The following checks must be carried out:
- Before starting the machine;
- At regular time intervals (see chapter 6);
- After any modification or repair;
- Also see “Preliminary checks, chapter 5”.
Safety devices check
The machine’s safety devices (see chapter 2.2) must be
checked by properly trained technicians once every six
months.
The technician must prepare a check report at the end of
the inspection.
General overhaul
Every 9000 hours of running (see operation counter on
board) or at least once every 5 years, the machine must be
overhauled by a workshop authorized by Dulevo.

1.9 - NORME DI SICUREZZA
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Attenersi a quanto di seguito elencato:
1.9.a - PERSONALE AUTORIZZATO
- La macchina è destinata ad operatori professionali
fisicamente efficienti, non è destinata a persone con
capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte, cioè, ad
esempio, portatrici di handicap fisici come menoma-
zioni di vista o udito o persone menomate nell’uso
degli arti.
- L’uso, la manutenzione e la riparazione della macchi-
na sono consentite solo agli operatori che abbiano
effettuato un opportuno periodo di addestramento
teorico e pratico relativo all’utilizzo della macchina;
soltanto dopo aver ricevuto la suddetta preparazione,
gli operatori potranno essere autorizzati ad operare
con la macchina (utilizzatori) o sulla macchina (ma-
nutentori).
- È fortemente consigliato che gli operatori che utiliz-
zeranno la macchina abbiano conseguito la patente
atta alla guida del mezzo da oltre un anno.
- Detti operatori devono essere persone fisicamente ed
intellettualmente idonee e non sotto effetto di alcool,
farmaci e/o sostanze stupefacenti.
- Non lasciare avvicinare alla macchina persone non
autorizzate o estranee al lavoro.
1.9.b - ABBIGLIAMENTO ANTINFORTUNISTICO ED EQUI-
PAGGIAMENTO DI PROTEZIONE PERSONALE
- Non indossare abiti larghi, indumenti svolazzanti
ed oggetti che possano impigliarsi (anelli, orologi,
braccialetti, collane, ecc...) ma sempre abbigliamento
antinfortunistico secondo le norme vigenti.
- Raccogliere i capelli lunghi prima di utilizzare la
macchina.
- Utilizzare sempre scarpe antinfortunistiche con suo-
la antisdrucciolo e, se le condizioni ambientali ed
operative lo richiedono, anche guanti, mascherine,
occhiali e dispositivi di protezione per l’udito.
- Indossare ulteriori equipaggiamenti di protezione
quando necessario o quando richiesto dal datore
di lavoro, da leggi locali o dalla natura del lavoro da
eseguire.
1.9.c - AVVERTENZE GENERALI
- Per scendere o salire dalla macchina:
- avere le mani libere (non tenere in mano attrezzi);
- utilizzare i punti di presa e gli scalini appositamente
predisposti;
- non saltare dalla cabina o da altre parti della mac-

1.9 - SAFETY RULES
WARNING DANGER:
Please comply with the following instructions:
1.9.a - AUTHORIZED PEOPLE
- Only professional and physically fit operators are
allowed to use this machine.
People with reduced physical, sensorial or mental
capacities - like physically handicapped people suf-
fering impairment of sight, hearing or limbs - are not
allowed to use this machine.
- Only the operators having been trained during an
appropriate period of time, both theoretically and
practically, on how to use the vehicle are allowed to
use, maintain and repair the vehicle.
The operators will be authorized to operate the ve-
hicle (users) or maintain it (maintenance men) only
after having been properly trained.
- Only operators who have had the driving license
necessary to drive this machine for at least one year
should be allowed to operate it.
- These operators must be physically and intellectually
fit.
Furthermore, they must not be under the effects of
alcohol, medicaments and/or drugs.
- Do not allow unauthorized people or bystanders to
get close to the machine.
1.9.b - ACCIDENT PREVENTION CLOTHING AND PER-
SONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
- Do not wear fluttering clothing and/or objects which
might get caught (rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc...),
but always do wear accident prevention clothing ac-
cording to the regulations in force.
- People with long hair must gather their hair before
starting to use the machine.
- Always wear safety work shoes with anti-slip soles.
If the environmental and operation conditions require
it, also wear gloves, masks, glasses and hearing
protection devices.
- Wear additional PPE as needed or when required by
your employer, local codes, or the nature of the work.
1.9.c - GENERAL WARNINGS
- To get into or off the machine:
- hands must be empty (do not carry any tool in
them);
- use the grips and specially designed steps;
- do not jump off the cab or other parts of the ma-

Mantenere sempre tre punti di contatto con la mac-
china (ovvero due mani e un piede o una mano e due
piedi).
- Mai salire sulla macchina quando questa è in movi-
mento.
- Comportamento con il carburante:
- rifornire la macchina di carburante solo a motore
spento. Mai fumare o usare fiamme libere durante
il rifornimento.
- A motore caldo non rimuovere il tappo del radiatore
dell’acqua: il liquido bollente può fuoriuscire in pres-
sione dal radiatore e provocare scottature o ustioni.
- Mai modificare qualsiasi componente della macchina
o le tarature e regolazioni impostate dal costruttore.
- Mai disattivare o bypassare qualsiasi spia di segna-
lazione o cicalino.
- Non provocare cortocircuiti.
- Non invertire le polarità nel collegamento dei poli
della batteria.
- Non appoggiare utensili ed oggetti metallici sopra le
batterie; pericolo di cortocircuiti.
- Utilizzare un caricabatterie adeguato alla capacità ed
alle caratteristiche della batteria.
- Non spostare la macchina manualmente e non ac-
cenderla per alcuna ragione nel corso della ricarica
della batteria.
- Mai rimuovere o modificare le protezioni fisse o mo-
bili.
Se per qualunque motivo le protezioni di sicurezza o
i carter vengono rimossi, modificati o se le protezioni
vengono disinserite o sono in cattive condizioni, è
obbligatorio ripristinare la loro condizione originale
prima di rimettere la macchina in funzione.
- Le targhette adesive vanno sempre conservate in
buone condizioni e devono rimanere leggibili.
Nel caso in cui dovessero mancare, essere danneg-
giate o illeggibili, ordinare immediatamente nuovi
adesivi e applicarli al più presto.
- Nel periodo invernale è consigliato munirsi di appo-
site gomme e/o catene da neve.
- La macchina è omologata secondo i requisiti previsti
dal codice della strada italiano e può circolare sulle
strade pubbliche, ma sarà cura dell’utilizzatore preve-
dere l’eventuale segnaletica aggiuntiva ove richiesta
dalle particolari condizioni operative in cui il veicolo
andrà ad operare, in ottemperanza alle norme vigenti
nel paese di utilizzo del mezzo.

Always maintain three points of contact (i.e. two
hands and one foot or two feet and one hand) with
the machine.
- Never attempt to mount the machine when it is mov-
ing.
- Fuel handling:
- refuel the machine only when the engine is turned
off. Never smoke or use open flames while refu-
eling.
- When the engine is hot do not remove the cap from
the radiator: boiling liquid can erupt from the radiator
resulting in burn/scalding injuries.
- Never modify any component of the machine, or the
settings or calibrations set by the manufacturer.
- Never disable or bypass any warning lights or buzz-
ers.
- Do not cause short circuits.
- Do not invert polarity of battery pole connections.
- Do not rest tools or metal objects on the batteries;
danger of short-circuits.
- Use a battery charger appropriate to the battery’s
capacity and features.
- Do not move the machine manually and do not start
it while the battery is charging.
- Never remove or modify fixed or mobile shielding
guards.
If, for any reason, the shields or guards are removed,
modified or if the guards are disabled or in poor
condition, they must be restored to their original
condition before restarting the machine.
- Always maintain the safety decals in good, readable
condition.
If the decals are missing, damaged, or unreadable,
obtain and install replacement decals immediately.
- During the winter season use winter tires and/or snow
chains.
- This machine is type-approved according to the
requirements of the Italian rules of the road and is al-
lowed to drive on public roads. If necessary, the user
will have to provide the additional signage whenever
required by the special operating conditions in which
the vehicle will operate, according to the regulations
in force in the country of use.

1.9.d - PRIMA DELL’AVVIAMENTO
- Fare un giro intorno alla macchina per accertarsi che
tutti i suoi componenti siano in buone condizioni e
funzionanti.
- Accertarsi che siano regolarmente chiusi tutti i por-
telli con le relative sicurezze e protezioni.
- Accertarsi che non vi siano, sulla macchina, oggetti
estranei (utensili, stracci, ecc...).
- Mantenere puliti i vetri della cabina di guida e gli
specchi retrovisori.
- Il sedile ed il volante di guida devono essere regolati
solo con la macchina ferma.
- Accertarsi che i tappi degli elementi della batteria
siano tutti correttamente installati nelle loro sedi.
- La macchina può essere messa in servizio solo dopo
averne verificato il buono stato.
1.9.e - DURANTE L’IMPIEGO
- Assicurarsi che tutti i fari di lavoro, i dispositivi di
segnalazione e gli allarmi siano attivati e funzionanti.
- Mai accettare passeggeri a bordo della macchina a
meno che sia strettamente necessario per compiere
le operazioni di pulizia.
- Azionare i comandi della macchina esclusivamente
dal posto di guida.
- Se si avverte un rumore inconsueto o una vibrazio-
ne inusuale, se un componente o un impianto non
funziona correttamente o se un cicalino emette un
suono, arrestare immediatamente la macchina. Ricer-
carne la causa ed eventualmente avvertire il Servizio
Assistenza.
- Durante qualsiasi operazione assicurarsi di poter
intervenire tempestivamente sui dispositivi di emer-
genza.
- Non sovraccaricare la macchina (vedere dati tecnici,
portata della macchina).
- Operare soltanto quando si ha una visione chiara e
priva di ostacoli dell’area da pulire.
- Durante la fase di lavoro e di trasferimento (soprattut-
to in retromarcia) prestare costantemente attenzione
a terze persone, in particolare a bambini, presenti
nell’area in cui si opera e a qualsiasi altro ostacolo
o pericolo (forti pendenze, strapiombi, cavi elettrici
aerei, ecc...).
- Prestare la massima attenzione affinchè nessuno
entri in contatto con le spazzole durante la rotazione.

1.9.d - BEFORE STARTING
- Walk around the machine to insure that all compo-
nents are in good condition and operational.
- Make sure that all the hatches are regularly closed
with their safety and protection devices.
- Make sure that no foreign object is on the machine
(rags, tools, etc...).
- Keep the driver’s cab windows and rearview mirrors
clean.
- Adjust the seat and steering wheel only when the
machine is stopped.
- Make sure all the battery caps are positioned correctly
in their seat.
- The machine may only be operated after its good
condition has been verified.
1.9.e - DURING USE
- Make sure all the working beacons, lights and alarm
devices are active and working.
- Unless necessary for sweeping operations, never
allow any passengers on the machine.
- Operate the machine controls from the machine seat
only.
- In the event you hear any strange noise or feel unusu-
al vibration, if component or system is not operating
properly or if any buzzers sound, stop the machine
immediately.
Look for the cause and, if necessary, inform the As-
sistance Service.
- During any operation, make sure you can operate the
emergency devices quickly.
- Do not overload the machine (see technical data,
machine capacity).
- Operate the machine only when you have a clear and
unobstructed view of the area being swept.
- During work and transfer (especially when driving
in reverse) always pay attention to bystanders, es-
pecially children, present in the operation area and
to any hindrance or danger (slopes, cliffs, overhead
wires, etc...).
- Operate very carefully and make sure nobody may
touch the brushes while they are rotating.

- Non tentare mai di spazzare oggetti troppo volumino-
si o che possono rimanere impigliati nelle spazzole
della macchina (come cavi, corde, catene, ecc...) ed
essere successivamente scagliati o lanciati.
- Quando la macchina è a pieno carico è necessario
moderare la velocità, soprattutto in curva.
- In caso di utilizzo della macchina su superfici incli-
nate prestare la massima attenzione per evitare il
ribaltamento o situazioni che possano pregiudicare
la stabilità del mezzo.
- Brusche sterzate e/o sterzate con volante comple-
tamente ruotato vanno condotte a bassa velocità e
comunque tenendo conto delle condizioni del suolo.
- Con il contenitore sollevato e/o ribaltato, la macchina
può stare solamente su superfici piane ed orrizzon-
tali.
Evitare inoltre manovre rapide (pericolo di ri-
baltamento macchina o scardinamento del conteni-
tore).
- In caso di irregolare funzionamento dei freni o dello
sterzo, arrestare il veicolo.
- Segnalare eventuali perdite di olio e/o di liquido della
batteria: sono pericolose ed altamente inquinanti.
1.9.f - SCARICO DEL CONTENITORE
- Non entrare mai in contatto con i rifiuti presenti all’in-
terno del contenitore.
- Accertarsi che la macchina sia su un terreno pianeg-
giante.
- Allontanare eventuali persone estranee durante le
operazioni di scarico.
- Accertarsi che non vi siano ostacoli (es.: cavi elettrici
aerei) che potrebbero essere urtati dal contenitore.
- Accertarsi che gli specchi siano posizionati corretta-
mente al fine di garantire una visione chiara dei lati
e della parte posteriore del contenitore.
- Durante le operazioni di scarico, rimanere nella ca-
bina con i finestrini chiusi.
1.9.g - FERMO MACCHINA
- Ad ogni fermo prolungato della macchina, ed in caso
di temperature vicine o inferiori a 0°C (35°F), svuotare
completamente il serbatoio dell’acqua dell’impianto
innaffiante (OPT).
- Quando non lavora, la macchina deve essere protetta
da movimenti involontari.
Inserire i dispositivi di sicurezza.
- Per impedire che la macchina venga usata da chi

- Never try to brush objects that are either too volu-
minous or that could get entangled in the machine
brushes (such as cables, ropes, chains, etc...) and
then be thrown away.
- When the machine is fully loaded, drive at a moderate
speed, especially when turning.
- When using the machine on inclined surfaces, be
careful to avoid overturning or situations which could
prejudice the vehicle’s stability.
- Sharp turns and/or turns with the steering wheel
completely rotated must be carried out at a low speed
and in any case keeping into consideration ground
conditions.
- The vehicle must be level and horizontal before the
container may be lifted and/or tilted.
Avoid any quick manoeuvre (the vehicle could over-
turn or the container could come off its hinges).
- Stop the vehicle in case of a malfunction of the brakes
or the steering wheel.
- Communicate any oil and/or battery fluid leaks: they
are dangerous and highly polluting.
1.9.f - DUMPING THE WASTE CONTAINER
- Avoid any contact with the waste in the container.
- Be sure the machine is on level ground.
- Do not allow any bystanders to be present during
dumping operations.
- Be sure that there are no overhead obstructions (ex.:
overhead wires) which could be hit by the container.
- Be sure your mirrors are properly adjusted to provide
a clear view of the sides and rear of the container.
- Remain in the cab with the windows rolled up during
dumping operations.
1.9.g - MACHINE STOP
- Upon each prolonged stop of the machine, and in
case of temperatures close to or lower than 0°C
(35°F), completely unload the water tank of the sprin-
kler system (OPT).
- The vehicle must be protected against accidental
movements when it is not in operation.
Enable all safety devices.
- To prevent the machine being used by unauthorized

non è autorizzato si deve bloccare l’azionamento
togliendo la chiave d’avviamento.
- Non mettere in marcia la macchina se ferma per
interventi speciali (messa a punto, manutenzione,
lubrificazione, ecc...).
- Non abbandonare mai la macchina senza aver prima
azionato il freno di stazionamento e aver tolto la
chiave d’avviamento.
- Non lasciare mai la macchina su superfici inclinate.
In caso sia inevitabile sostare in pendenza, posizio-
nare dei cunei di arresto sotto le ruote.
1.9.h - NORME DI SICUREZZA RELATIVE AI MATERIALI
DI ESERCIZIO
Acido batteria e olio motore/idraulico
- Non inalare i vapori: è pericoloso.
- Indossare adeguati mezzi di protezione individuale per
evitare il contatto con la pelle.
- L’acido della batteria è corrosivo: in caso di contatto con
la pelle sciacquare abbondantemente con acqua.
- Caricando la batteria si potrebbero formare miscele di
gas esplosive, pertanto i locali in cui la batteria è caricata
devono essere conformi alle norme specifiche in materia.
- E’ vietato fumare e/o utilizzare fiamme libere nel raggio di
2 metri dalla batteria durante la carica, nell’area di ricarica
e durante il raffreddamento della stessa dopo la ricarica.
- La fuoriuscita di olio idraulico in pressione dall’impianto
della macchina può penetrare nella pelle.
In caso si verifichi tale situazione pericolosa, consultare
immediatamente un medico. Utilizzare un pezzo di car-
tone per localizzare eventuali perdite.
- Gli oli sono portatori di inquinamento idrico; pertanto non
devono essere dispersi nell’ambiente ma bensì raccolti e
trasportati sempre in contenitori conformi alle disposizioni
di legge presso un centro di raccolta.
1.9.i - NORME PER SISTEMI IDRICI AD ALTA PRESSIONE
(OPT)
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
L’uso improprio di pompe e sistemi ad alta pressione
nonchè l’inosservanza delle norme di installazione e
manutenzione possono causare gravi danni alle persone
e/o alle cose.
L’utilizzo dei sistemi ad alta pressione è riservata a per-
sonale adeguatamente istruito sui rischi connessi con
l’uso o causati da malfunzionamenti e sulle precauzioni
necessarie da adottare.
Prima dell’avviamento del sistema l’operatore è tenuto a
verificare che:
- I tubi ad alta pressione non presentino segni di abrasione
o di danneggiamento.
- Le raccorderie siano in perfetto ordine.
- Nell’area di lavoro non ci siano persone estranee o ani-
mali.

- Do not start the machine if it is stopped for special
servicing (tune up, maintenance, lubrication, etc...).
- Never leave the machine without activating the park-
ing brake and removing the starting key.
- Never leave the machine on sloping surfaces.
If there is no other option but to stop on inclined
surfaces, place chocks under the wheels.
1.9.h - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPPLIES
Battery acid and engine/hydraulic oil
- Do not inhale the vapor: it is toxic.
- Use appropriate individual protection devices to avoid
contact with the skin.
- Battery acid is corrosive: rinse with plenty of water in case
of contact with battery acid.
- Explosive gas mixtures may form while charging the bat-
tery, it is therefore necessary that the premises where the
battery is charged comply with the specific regulations.
- Do not smoke or use open flames within a 2-meter radius
of the battery while it is being charged in the battery-
charging area or while it is cooling after having been
charged.
- If hydraulic fluid should leak from the hydraulic system
while under pressure, it could penetrate into the skin.
This is quite dangerous. Immediately consult a doctor if
this should happen.
Use a piece of cardboard to locate any leaks.
- Never dispose of oils in the environment because they
cause water pollution.
Collect them and take them in legally approved containers
to a collection center.
1.9.i - INSTRUCTIONS FOR HIGH-PRESSURE WATER
SYSTEMS (OPT)
WARNING DANGER:
Improper use of pumps and high-pressure systems, as
well as non-compliance with the installation and main-
tenance rules, can cause serious damage to people and/
or property.
The use of high pressure systems is allowed only to
personnel adequately instructed on the risks connected
with their use or caused by malfunctioning, and on the
necessary precautions.
Before starting the system, the operator must make sure that:
- The high pressure pipes do not show any sign of abrasion
or damage.
- Fittings are in perfect conditions.
- No stranger or animal is in the work area.
- There is no object that could be flung far away by the

AVVERTENZA:
In caso di anomalia o di rilevazione di difetti, l’operatore

1.10 - NORME PER LA
MANUTENZIONE
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Gli interventi sull’impianto elettrico, idraulico ed idrico
devono essere eseguiti solo da personale qualificato
istruito sulle caratteristiche della macchina e sulle nor-
mative antinfortunistiche.
Le operazioni di manutenzione e riparazione della mac-
china richiedono una conoscenza meccanica specifica;
un’esperienza meccanica generica può non essere
sufficiente.
Pertanto, qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione e ri-
parazione deve essere eseguita solamente da tecnici
adeguatamente addestrati.
- Durante la pulizia e la manutenzione della macchina
o la sostituzione di parti si deve spegnere il motore,
togliere la chiave d’avviamento e sconnettere la bat-
teria.
- Se per qualsiasi motivo il personale di manutenzione
deve escludere qualche funzione di sicurezza, tale
funzione deve essere sostituita dalla supervisione
di un secondo operatore e ripristinata prima della
messa in moto della macchina.
- Usare scale o piattaforme adeguate per accedere a
zone inaccessibili dal suolo.
- Prima di lavorare sotto il contenitore sollevato si
devono inserire i perni di sicurezza o il puntale di
sicurezza a seconda della versione.
- Mai lasciare incostudita la macchina col contenitore
in posizione sollevata.
- Indossare indumenti e mezzi di protezione individuale
in accordo alle norme vigenti.
- Utilizzare solo parti di ricambio originali.
- Seguire le istruzioni riportate nel “capitolo 6”.
- Rispettare le norme vigenti per lo smaltimento
dell’olio usato.
- Avere cautela durante le operazioni di scarico olio
ed eliminare eventuali tracce d’olio presenti sulla
macchina e nell’ambiente.
AVVERTENZA:
Nelle operazioni di pulizia e di lavaggio non usare de-
tergenti aggressivi, acidi, ecc... e prestare particolare
attenzione alle parti elettriche e del motore.
Attenersi alle istruzioni del produttore di detergenti.
Per le operazioni di pulizia attenersi a quanto indicato
nel “capitolo 6”.

1.10 - MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING DANGER:
Any intervention on the electric, hydraulic and water
systems may only be executed by qualified personnel
which has been instructed on the vehicle’s features and
on accident prevention standards.
A general mechanical knowledge is not enough to
service and repair the machine; a specific mechanical
knowledge is necessary.
Therefore, only properly trained technicians are allowed
to execute any service and repair operation.
- When carrying out cleaning or maintenance opera-
tions on the machine, or when replacing machine
parts, turn off the engine, remove the key and discon-
nect the battery.
- Should the maintenance personnel exclude some
safety function for any reason, that function must
be replaced by the supervision of a second operator
and restored before starting the machine.
- Use proper stairs, ladders or platforms to access
areas that cannot be reached from ground level.
- Before working beneath the raised waste container,
insert the safety pin or the safety support, depending
on the version.
- Never leave the machine unattended with the hopper
in a raised position.
- Wear individual protective equipment and clothes, in
compliance with the laws in force.
- Use only original spare parts.
- Follow the instructions outlined in “chapter 6”.
- Comply with the laws in force for worn out oil disposal.
- Use caution when draining the oil and eliminate any
oil trace present on the machine and in the environ-
ment.
CAUTION:
To clean and wash the machine, do not use aggressive
or acid cleansers and pay special attention to the electric
parts and to the engine.
Comply with the instructions provided by the cleanser’s
manufacturer. For cleaning operations, comply with the
instructions outlined in “chapter 6”.

of the machine by persons not authorized to do so or not
adequately trained in its proper operation or in the safety
devices and regulations.

2) Stay away from the machine’s range of operation
Sticker located on the front of the machine and close to
the doors; it indicates to stay away from the machine’s
range of operation.
3) Stay away when the waste hopper is moving
Sticker located on the sides of the machine; it indicates to
stay away when the waste hopper is moving (especially
when moving downward).
4) It is forbidden to smoke or use open flames
Sticker located next to the fuel tank and close to the bat-
tery; it indicates that it is forbidden to smoke or use open
flames near the vehicle because of the risk of explosion
and/or fire.
5) Danger of getting burnt
Sticker visible when the waste hopper is open; it indicates
that it is forbidden to touch the mechanical parts since
there is a risk of getting burnt because of the high tem-
peratures.
6) Insert safety rods when the waste hopper is tilted
Sticker located on the safety rods; indicates that it is man-
datory to engage the safety rods whenever the hopper is
tilted.
7) It is forbidden to step on the brushes
Sticker located close to the brushes; it indicates that it
is forbidden to rest the foot or feet or step on top of the
brush plate, as well as to touch it.
8) Use caution when backing
Sticker located on the back of the machine; it indicates
that no one should stand or cross behind the vehicle while
it is backing.

Per zone a rischio residuo si intendono quelle parti (o zone)
della macchina dove malgrado siano presenti i dispositivi
di sicurezza, sussiste un potenziale pericolo impossibile da
eliminare.
Le principali zone a rischio di questa macchina sono:

2.4 - MOVIMENTAZIONE E
TRASPORTO
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Manovre pericolose.
Tutte le operazioni di movimentazione e trasporto devo-
no essere eseguite da personale specializzato.
Per la massa del veicolo, la descrizione dei comandi e
l’impiego della macchina, vedere i capitoli 3, 4 e 5.
2.4.a - TRASPORTO SU AUTOCARRO
- Posizionare la macchina sul pianale dell’autocarro ser-
vendosi della rampa di salita (1).
AVVERTENZA:
Per evitare che le spazzole laterali e la 3a spazzola (OPT)
urtino contro l’angolo di salita della rampa è necessario
posizionarle esternamente alla rampa stessa, quindi
con macchina posizionata sul pianale dell’autocarro
farle rientrare completamente e bloccarle mediante gli
appositi dispositivi di sicurezza.
- Inserire il freno di stazionamento.
- Bloccare la macchina mediante i cunei (2).
- Ancorare il veicolo con apposite cinghie o cavi (3) uti-
lizzando come punti di fissaggio le asole (4) ed i golfari
(5) (forniti in dotazione) posizionati rispettivamente nella
parte anteriore e posteriore della macchina.
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Le asole (4) ed i golfari (5) devono essere utilizzate
esclusivamente per l’ancoraggio della macchina durante
il trasporto e non per il sollevamento della stessa.

2.4 - HANDLING AND
TRANSPORT
WARNING DANGER:
Dangerous manoeuvres.
All the handling and transport operations must be exe-
cuted by appropriateized staff. As regards the machi-
ne’s weight, the description of the control devices and
the use of the machine, see chapters 3, 4 and 5.
2.4.a - TRANSPORT ON TRUCK
- Using the loading ramp (1), position the machine on the
truck platform.
CAUTION:
To prevent the side brushes and 3rd brush (OPT) from
bumping against the ramp climbing angle, it is neces-
sary to place them outside the ramp; thus when the
machine is placed on the truck platform, move the bru-
shes completely under the vehicle and lock them with
the appropriate safety devices.
- Enable the parking brake.
- Secure the machine with wedges (2).
- Anchor the machine with appropriate belts or cables (3),
using the slots (4) and eye bolts (5) (part of the equipment)
located respectively on the machine’s front and rear parts
as fixation points.
WARNING DANGER:
The slots (4) and eye bolts (5) must be used only to
anchor the machine during transport, never to lift the
machine.

2.4.b - TRAINO
- Inserire il freno di stazionamento, disinserire tutte le
funzioni ed arrestare il motore.
- Accedere al motore di trazione (1) (posizionato dietro le
ruote anteriori) agendo da sotto la macchina.
- Allentare il controdado (2) e svitare la valvola di bypass
(3).
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Dopo aver eseguito questa operazione la macchina
risulta in marcia folle; sussiste il pericolo di urto o
schiacciamento in quanto la stessa si può muovere.
- Agganciare la barra di traino al gancio (4).
- Se possibile, avviare il motore per usufruire del servofreno
e dell’idroguida.
- Solo ora, disinserire il freno di stazionamento.
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Durante il traino, in caso di impossibilità di utilizzo del
servofreno e/o dell’idroguida, per frenare e/o per sterzare
è necessario esercitare un maggiore sforzo sul pedale
del freno e/o sul volante.
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Durante il traino è obbligatorio rispettare le specifiche
norme di circolazione stradale relative sia al dispositivo
di traino, sia al comportamento da tenere sulla strada.
AVVERTENZA:
Durante il traino procedere a velocità ridotta (max 3
km/h).
- A fine operazione inserire il freno di stazionamento e
sganciare la barra di traino.
- Ripristinare il circuito del motore di trazione (1) riavvitando
completamente la valvola (3) ed il controdado (2).

2.4.b - TOWING
- Enable the parking brake, disable all the functions and
stop the engine.
- Access the traction engine (1) (located behind the front
wheels) from under the machine.
- Release the lock nut (2) and unscrew the bypass valve
(3).
WARNING DANGER:
After having carried out this operation, the vehicle is in
the neutral gear so the vehicle could move and bump
against or crush something or someone.
- Fasten the drawbar to the hook (4).
- If possible, start the engine to use the power brake and
power steering box.
- Only now release the parking brake.
WARNING DANGER:
During towing, if it is impossible to use the power brake
and/or the power steering box, to brake and/or steer it
is necessary to make a bigger effort on the pedal and/
or steering wheel.
WARNING DANGER:
During towing, it is mandatory to respect the specific
on-the-road circulation standards regarding the towing
device and how to behave on the road.
CAUTION:
During towing proceed at a very slow speed (max 3
km/h).
- At the end of this operation, enable the parking brake and
release the drawbar.
- Completely retighten the valve (3) and lock nut (2) to
restore the traction engine’s (1) circuit.

MACCHINA
Le condizioni di prova in cui sono stati eseguiti i rilievi fono-
metrici ed il calcolo della potenza sonora sono conformi a
quanto previsto dalle norme e dalle direttive europee vigenti
e sono dettagliatamente descritte nelle relative relazioni
tecniche detenute dalla Dulevo International S.p.A.
Per errori casuali e/o strumentali, l’incertezza relativa ai valori
sotto indicati è pari a K= 2 dB.

E’ questo un indice di ciò che viene percepito all’orecchio
umano. E’ quindi il valore che interessa per valutare l’espo-

3.4 - INFORMAZIONI SULLE
VIBRAZIONI
Le misure di vibrazione sono state condotte nella condizione
tipica di utilizzo della macchina, cioè in assetto di lavoro con
organi di lavoro in funzione.
Le prove si sono svolte su strada asfaltata pianeggiante con
fondo in buone condizioni.
I rilievi delle vibrazioni e le conseguenti valutazioni sono stati
eseguiti conformemente a quanto richiesto dalla direttiva
2002/44/CE e sono dettagliatamente descritti nella relativa
relazione tecnica detenuta da Dulevo International S.p.A.
Il livello di vibrazioni equivalente prodotto dalla macchina in
condizioni di lavoro è:
- per il sistema mano-braccio: inferiore a 2,5m/s2;
- per il corpo intero inferiore a 0,5m/s2.
Questi valori, che vanno comunque rapportati al tempo di
utilizzo effettivo della macchina, possono essere usati sola-
mente come valori di comparazione e non sono adatti per la
determinazione dei livelli reali di esposizione dell’operatore
che dipendono dalle condizioni e dall’ambiente di utilizzo.

Le targhette della macchina sono l’unico riferimento
legale di identificazione, quindi occorre mantenerle in
buono stato, non modificarne i dati e/o asportarle.
Il Cliente è responsabile di qualsiasi manomissione.

I numeri di matricola e di omologazione stradale della
macchina, oltre ad essere riportati sulle apposite tar-
ghette, sono stampigliati anche sul telaio davanti alla
ruota anteriore destra.

3.3 - MACHINE NOISE EMISSION
The test conditions under which the phonometric survey and
the calculation of the sonic power were carried out comply
with European regulations and directives and are described
in detail in the various technical reports kept by Dulevo In-
ternational S.p.A.
In case of accidental and/or instrumental errors, the uncer-
tainty relative to the values indicated below is K= 2 dB.
LpA: A-WEIGHED AVERAGE EMISSION SOUND PRES-
SURE LEVEL - AT DRIVER’S SEAT
This is an indicator of what is perceived by the human ear
and consequently constitutes the value used to assess the
operators’ exposure to noise.

3.4 - INFORMATION ABOUT
VIBRATIONS
The vibrations have been measured in a typical condition
of machine use, i.e. during work and with operating working
tools.
The tests have been done on a level asphalt road with a
roadbed in good conditions.
The vibrations have been measured and rated according to
the requests of directive 2002/44/CE; they are described in
detail in the relative technical report kept by Dulevo Inter-
national S.p.A.
The equivalent vibration level produced by the machine in
working conditions is:
- for the hand-arm system: lower than 2,5m/s2;
- for the whole body: lower than 0,5m/s2.
These values relate to the time of actual use of the machine.
They may be used only as comparison values and are not
suitable to determine the operator’s real exposure levels,
which depend on the conditions and environment of use.

MACHINE
NOTE:
The machine plates are the only legal identification refer-
ence, hence it is necessary to keep them in good condi-
tion, to avoid modifying the data and/or removing them.
The Customer is responsible for any tampering with.
NOTE:
The machine’s serial number and road type approval
number are both indicated in the appropriate plates
and printed on the chassis, in front of the right front
wheel.

4.1.e - RIBALTAMENTO CONTENITORE RIFIUTI
Durante le operazioni di lavoro e/o di manutenzione che
necessitano di accedere agli organi sottostanti al conteni-
tore rifiuti e che prevedono quindi di operare con il conte-
nitore stesso in posizione ribaltata, è necessario seguire le
procedure di seguito elencate.
Per la descrizione dei comandi che verranno impiegati, ve-
dere i paragrafi successivi.
Per le istruzioni relative allo scarico dei rifiuti, vedere il pa-
ragrafo 5.4.
4.1.e.a - Ribaltamento da pulsantiera mobile in cabina
- Accertarsi che la leva selezione senso di marcia (1)
sia in posizione centrale (marcia folle), che il freno di
stazionamento (2) sia inserito e che il deviatore (3) della
pompa di ribaltamento manuale del contenitore (acces-
sibile aprendo il portello laterale anteriore destro) sia in
posizione centrale.
- Avviare il motore.
- Premere il pulsante (4) per abilitare le funzioni di ribal-
tamento contenitore/scarico rifiuti (si illumina la spia sul
pulsante) ed il pulsante (5) per mandare a regime di lavoro
il motore diesel.
- Ruotare il selettore (6) in posizione “ “ per escludere
l’apertura del portello di scarico rifiuti.
- Mantenere premuto il pulsante (7) verso “ “ fino al
completo ribaltamento del contenitore (si illumina la spia
“ “ sul display multifunzione).
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Per operare in sicurezza sotto il contenitore ribaltato,
rimuovere i puntali (8) dalla sede di stivaggio ed instal-
larli sugli steli (9) dei cilindri di ribaltamento assicuran-
doli con l’apposita coppiglia.
- Per abbassare il contenitore rimuovere i puntali (8) e
riporli nelle loro sedi, quindi mantenere premuto il pul-
sante (10) verso “ “ fino al completo abbassamento
del contenitore (si spegne la spia “ “ sul display
multifunzione).
- Premere il pulsante (5) per diminuire il regime di lavoro del
motore diesel ed il pulsante (4) per escludere le funzioni
di ribaltamento contenitore/scarico rifiuti (si spegne la
spia sul pulsante).
4.1.e.b - Ribaltamento manuale in caso di avaria
In caso di mal funzionamenti o di interventi di manutenzio-
ne che non permettano di ribaltare il contenitore rifiuti come
indicato nel precedente paragrafo, operare come segue:
- Aprire il portello laterale anteriore destro.
- Posizionare il deviatore (3) della pompa di ribaltamento
(11) a sinistra.
- Inserire l’asta (12) nell’apposita sede della pompa ed
azionare quest’ultima fino al completo ribaltamento del
contenitore rifiuti.

4.1.e - TILTING THE WASTE HOPPER
The procedures described below must be followed during
all work and/or maintenance operations during which it is
necessary to gain access to the parts located under the wa-
ste hopper and when these operations must be executed
while the hopper is tilted.
The various controls to use are described in the next para-
graphs.
The instructions regarding waste dumping are described in
paragraph 5.4.
4.1.e.a - Tilting with mobile push-button panel in cab
- Make sure that the gear lever (1) is in central position
(neutral position), that the parking brake (2) is pulled and
that the diverter (3) of the manual hopper tilting pump
(open the right front door to gain access to it) is in central
position.
- Start the engine.
- Press the push-button (4) to enable the hopper tilting/
waste dumping functions (the push-button warning light
turns on) and the push-button (5) to rev the diesel engine
to work speed.
- Turn the selector (6) in position “ “ to prevent the
opening of the waste dumping door.
- Keep the push-button (7) pressed on “ “ until the
hopper is completely tilted (the “ “ warning light on
the multipurpose display turns on).
WARNING DANGER:
To work safely under the tilted hopper, remove the sa-
fety supports (8) their housing and install them on the
rods (9) of the tilting cylinders; last, secure them with
the appropriate split pin.
- To lower the hopper, remove the safety supports (8) and
place them back in their housing; next, keep the push-
button (10) pressed toward “ “ until the hopper is
completely tilted (the “ “ warning light on the multi-
purpose display turns off).
- Press the push-button (5) to reduce the diesel engine’s
work speed and the push-button (4) to exclude the hopper
tilting/waste dumping functions (the push-button warning
light turns off).
4.1.e.b - Manual tilting in case of failure
In case of malfunction, repair or maintenance which do not
allow to tilt the waste hopper as indicated in the previous
paragraph, proceed as follows:
- Open the right side front door.
- Place the diverter (3) of the tilting pump (11) to the left.
- Introduce the rod (12) in the pump’s appropriate seat and
operate it until the waste hopper is completely tilted.

- In caso di emergenza, premendo il pulsante (1) si arre-

- Per ripristinare il pulsante, ruotarlo fino a sbloccarlo.

2) Pulsante selezione regime di lavoro/trasferimento
- Premuto manda a regime di lavoro il motore diesel (fase
di lavoro).
E’ possibile modificare il numero di giri del motore agendo
sul pulsante (3) (consigliato: minimo 1600 giri/min. - mas-
simo 1800 giri/min.).
Ripremuto, il regime di lavoro del motore diesel diminu-

3) Pulsante acceleratore manuale
Abilitato dal pulsante (2) premuto in fase di lavoro.

- Position forward to engage the vehicle’s “FORWARD”
gear; the relative warning light turns on.
- Position in the middle to engage the vehicle’s “IDLE” gear.
- Position backward to engage the vehicle’s “REVERSE”
gear; the relative warning light turns on.
2) Work/movement speed selector push-button
- Press to rev the diesel engine (work mode).
Use the push-button (3) to modify the engine speed (rpm)
(recommended: minimum 1600 rpm - maximum 1800
rpm).
When pressed again, the diesel engine speed (rpm)
decreases (travel mode).
3) Manual accelerator push-button
In work mode, press the push-button (2) to enable this
accelerator.
- Keep this push-button pressed forward to increase the
engine speed, or keep it pressed rearward to decrease
the engine speed.
4) Fast speed push-button
- Press to select the vehicle fast speed (engage during
travel mode); the relative warning light turns on (see
paragraph 5.3).

is sprayed directly in the suction inlet, which allows to
further keep the dust down and increase the working
autonomy; the relative warning light turns on.

The water delivery to the brushes and suction inlet is
only enabled when the brushes are in low position and

1) Joystick spazzole laterali/bocca di aspirazione
Il loro funzionamento è abilitato dall’inserimento della
fase di lavoro.
I joystick (1) e (1A) regolano le varie posizioni rispetti-
vamente delle spazzole sinistra e destra e comandano
l’abbassamento/sollevamento della bocca di aspirazione;
spostarli e mantenerli in posizione fino al raggiungimento
della regolazione voluta, quindi rilasciarli e automatica-
mente si collocheranno nella posizione neutra centrale.
Le posizioni per le varie regolazioni sono le seguenti:
- AVANTI:
Abbassa la spazzola e avvia la rotazione + abbassa la
bocca di aspirazione.
- SINISTRA:
Sposta la spazzola verso sinistra
(spazzola sinistra/estrazione - spazzola destra/rientro).
- DESTRA:
Sposta la spazzola verso destra
(spazzola destra/estrazione - spazzola sinistra/rientro).
- INDIETRO:
Solleva la spazzola ed arresta la rotazione + solleva la
bocca di aspirazione.
NOTA:
Assicurarsi che la manopola di regolazione velocità
rotazione delle spazzole non sia al minimo.
NOTA:
Quando è abilitata la 3a spazzola (OPT), il joystick (1A)
regola le sue posizioni mentre il joystick (1) comanda
solamente l’abbassamento ed il sollevamento delle

1) Side brushes/suction inlet joysticks
Starting the work mode automatically enables these
joysticks.
The joysticks (1) and (1A) adjust the various positions
of the left and right brushes respectively and control the
lowering/lifting of the suction inlet; move them and keep
them in position until the desired result is reached, then
release them and they will automatically return to the
central and neutral position.
- The positions for the various adjustments are as follows:
- FORWARD:
Lowers the brush and starts its rotation; lowers the suction
inlet.
- LEFT:
Moves the brush toward the left
(left brush moves outward - right brush moves inward).
- RIGHT:
Moves the brush toward the right
(right brush moves outward - left brush moves inward).
- REARWARD:
Lifts the brush and stops its rotation; lifts the suction inlet.
NOTE:
Make sure that the brush rotation speed adjustment
knob is not at its lowest level.
NOTE:
Whenever the 3rd brush (OPT) is enabled, the joystick
(1A) adjusts its positions while the joystick (1) controls
only the lowering and lifting of the side brushes.

the driver’s cab.
- Use the knob (1) to set the ventilation speed on one of
the three positions.
- Press the push-button (2) to start the air conditioner.

The conditioner does not start if the knob (1) is in
“OFF” position.
- Use the knob (3) to adjust the desired temperature.
CAUTION:
It is advisable to make the system work at least once
a month, even during cold periods, so as to ensure a

ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
I controlli di seguito descritti devono essere eseguiti a
motore freddo (ad eccezione del controllo livello olio
motore), spento e con la macchina posizionata in piano;
è inoltre vietato fumare e/o utilizzare fiamme libere.
5.1.a - LIVELLO OLIO MOTORE
- Accendere il motore e portarlo alla temperatura di eser-
cizio (70÷80 °C); ribaltare il contenitore rifiuti e spegnere
il motore.

5.1 - PRELIMINARY CHECKS
CAUTION:
Daily check the points listed below to keep your vehicle
in good order.
These checks are additional and do not replace pro-
grammed maintenance.
- Visually check the systems and make sure there are no
leakages.
- Visually check the pressure and wear of the tires.
- Make sure that the hatches are regularly closed, that
the container is completely lowered and that the various
vehicle parts are fastened correctly.
- Check the lights and horn and make sure they work cor-
rectly.
- Check the brakes and their travel; make sure they work
correctly.
WARNING DANGER:
In case of any malfunction or any doubt about the
machine’s functionality DO NOT use it and contact the
Service Department.
WARNING DANGER:
The checks described below must always be executed
when the engine is stopped and cold (checking the en-
gine oil level is the only exception) and when the ma-
chine is level. Furthermore, it is strictly forbidden to
smoke and/or to use open flames.
5.1.a - ENGINE OIL LEVEL
- Start the engine and bring it to operating temperature
(70÷80 °C); tilt the waste hopper and turn off the engine.

il livello dell’olio nel serbatoio attraverso l’indicatore di

- In caso di rabbocco aprire il portello anteriore laterale
sinistro, raggiungere e svitare il tappo di carico (2) e rifor-
nire con olio del tipo indicato nella “tabella rifornimenti”,
capitolo 6.
- Rimontare il tappo di carico (2).
- Verificare il corretto livello dell’olio.

- Check the correct oil level.

- Assicurarsi che il rubinetto (3) di scarico dei serbatoi sia
chiuso.
- Collegare il bocchettone filettato (UNI45) della manichetta
(4) ad una presa d’acqua di un impianto idrico di rete.
AVVERTENZA:
È consigliato utilizzare acqua di rete per evitare di intro-
durre all’interno dell’impianto idrico eventuali impurità
quali sabbia, fango, ecc....
- Durante il riempimento verificare visivamente il livello
dell’acqua nel serbatoio tramite l’indicatore (1).
- In caso si superi il livello massimo, un troppo pieno scarica
l’acqua in eccesso a terra.
- A fine operazione scollegare e riavvolgere la manichetta
(4).
5.1.f - RIEMPIMENTO SERBATOIO ACQUA CIRCUITO
RICICLO (OPT)
- Aprire il portello anteriore laterale destro.
- Svitare il tappo (5), introdurre una canna dell’acqua e
rifornire il serbatoio utilizzando acqua di rete fino a che
l’acqua in esubero fuoriesce.
- A fine operazione rimontare il tappo (5).

5.1.e - SPRAY WATER TANK LEVEL/FILLING
- Open the right side front door.
- Check the water level in the tank (2) through the sight
glass (1); if necessary, take on water as indicated here-
after.
- Make sure that the tank drain cock (3) is closed.
- Connect the threaded pipe union (UNI45) of the hose (4)
to a water plug of the water mains.
CAUTION:
We recommend to use mains water to avoid introdu-
cing impurities such as sand, mud, etc... into the water
system.
- While filling the tank, check the level by looking through
the sight glass (1).
- An overflow drains excess water on the ground when the
maximum level is exceeded.
- When finished, disconnect and rewind the hose (4).
5.1.f - FILLING THE RECYCLING CIRCUIT WATER TANK
(OPT)
- Open the right side front door.
- Release the cap (5), introduce the water hose and fill-
up the tank with mains water until the water in excess
overflows.
- At the end of this operation, close the cap (5).

5.2 - AVVIAMENTO DELLA
MACCHINA
- Effettuare i controlli preliminari (vedere paragrafo 5.1).
- Salire sulla macchina e sedersi al posto di guida.
- Se necessario, regolare la posizione del sedile di guida,
del volante e degli specchietti retrovisori e di lavoro.
- Accertarsi che il freno di stazionamento (1) sia inserito.
- Accertarsi che la leva selezione senso di marcia (2) sia
in posizione centrale (marcia folle).
NOTA:
Se la leva (2) non è in posizione centrale, non avviene
l’avviamento.
Avviamento motore:
- Inserire la chiave di avviamento (3) e ruotarla al primo
scatto in posizione “I”; si illuminano tutte le spie di se-
gnalazione del display multifunzione.
- Allo spegnimento della spia “ “ ruotare la chiave a
fine corsa in posizione “II” rilasciandola una volta che il
motore si è avviato.
- A motore avviato, verificare lo spegnimento delle spie “
“, “ “e“ “.
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Non utilizzare la macchina con il motore acceso in locali
non aerati.
AVVERTENZA:
Se il motore non dovesse avviarsi, interrompere il ten-
tativo d’avviamento e dopo una pausa rifare un nuovo
tentativo; attendere almeno 1 minuto fra un tentativo
e l’altro per non scaricare e/o danneggiare la batteria.
Se dopo 3 tentativi il motore non si avvia, NON insistere
ma rivolgersi alla rete di vendita e assistenza autorizzata.

5.2 - MACHINE START
- Carry out the preliminary checks (see paragraph 5.1).
- Get into the machine and sit on the driving seat.
- If necessary, adjust the position of the driver’s seat, steer-
ing wheel and rearview and work mirrors.
- Make sure that the parking brake (1) is enabled.
- Make sure that the gear lever (2) is in the central position
(neutral).
NOTE:
If the lever (2) is not in the neutral position the machine
cannot be turned on.
Engine start:
- Insert the starting key (3) and turn it until reaching position
“I” and hearing the first click; all the warning lights of the
multipurpose display are turned on.
- When the “ “ warning light turns off, turn the key until
reaching the end position “II”; release the key once the
engine has started.
- Once the engine has started, check the warning lights “
“, “ “ and “ “, making sure they are turned off.
WARNING DANGER:
Do not use the machine with the engine running in non-
aerated premises.
CAUTION:
If the engine does not start, stop trying to start it and
then try again after a while; in order not to unload and/
or damage the battery, wait at least 1 minute between
one trial and the next one. If after 3 trials the engine still
does not start DO NOT insist, but contact the authorized
sales and assistance service.

5.3 - TRASFERIMENTO
5.3.a - BLOCCAGGIO SPAZZOLE

(OPT) mediante gli appositi comandi.
Bloccare tutte le spazzole mediante i perni (1) forniti in
dotazione installandoli nei fori dei bracci ed assicurandoli
con le apposite coppiglie.

5.3.b - MARCIA DI TRASFERIMENTO
- Controllare che la macchina sia in condizioni di trasferi-
mento (vedere paragrafo 5.3.a).
- Posizionare la leva selezione senso di marcia (1) nella
direzione voluta, avanti o indietro.
- Disinserire il freno di stazionamento (2).
- Mettere in movimento la macchina regolando la velocità
mediante il pedale (3) (il veicolo avanza con velocità
proporzionale alla corsa del pedale).
AVVERTENZA:
Durante la marcia su strade dissestate e in curva dimi-
nuire opportunamente la velocità.
5.3.c - UTILIZZO MARCIA NORMALE/VELOCE
Le marce del veicolo devono essere utilizzate dall’operatore
nel seguente modo:
- marcia normale durante la fase di lavoro e su salite o
discese ripide;
- marcia veloce, abilitata dal pulsante (4), durante la fase

Cold starting:
let the engine run for at least 5 minutes without moving
the machine.
5.3 - TRAVEL
5.3.a - LOCKING THE BRUSHES
Whenever the machine is moving, it is compulsory to lift the
side brushes and 3rd brush (OPT) and move them inside
the machine’s outline, using the appropriate controls.
To lock all the brushes, install the attached pins (1) in the
arm holes and secure them with their special split pins.
5.3.b - TRAVEL SPEED
- Make sure the machine is in travel conditions (see para-
graph 5.3.a).
- Place the gear lever (1) in the desired direction, either
forward or rearward.
- Release the parking brake (2).
- Put the machine in motion and regulate the speed with
the pedal (3) (the vehicle advances proportionally to the
pressure on the pedal).
CAUTION:
Reduce speed when traveling on uneven road surfaces
or when taking turns.
5.3.c - USING THE NORMAL/FAST SPEED
The operator must use the vehicle gears as follows:
- normal gear when working and driving on very inclined
roads;
- fast speed, enabled through push-button (4), during tra-

5.4.a - INIZIO LAVORO DI SPAZZAMENTO
- Rimuovere i perni di bloccaggio applicati alle spazzole
durante la fase di trasferimento.
- Accendere i fari di lavoro ed i fari rotanti mediante i pul-
santi (1) e (2).
- Abilitare la fase di lavoro della macchina premendo il
pulsante (3) e, se necessario, modificare il regime del
motore diesel mediante il pulsante (4).
- Avviare l’aspiratore polveri premendo il pulsante (5).
- Regolare la posizione ed abbassare le spazzole laterali
e la bocca di aspirazione mediante i joystick (6) e (7).
- Abilitare la 3a spazzola (OPT) premendo il pulsante (8) e
regolare i suoi movimenti e le sue posizioni utilizzando i
comandi della rispettiva pulsantiera ed il joystick (7).
NOTA:
Quando è abilitata la 3a spazzola (OPT), il joystick (7)
regola le sue posizioni mentre il joystick (6) comanda
solamente l’abbassamento ed il sollevamento delle
spazzole laterali.
Per la descrizione dei comandi e delle regolazioni spe-
cifiche della 3a spazzola (OPT), vedere il paragrafo 4.3.
- Azionare la mandata d’acqua alle spazzole laterali ed alla
bocca di aspirazione premendo i pulsanti (9), (10), (11)
ed alla 3a spazzola (OPT) premendo il pulsante (12).
- Se necessario, azionare la funzione di riciclo (OPT) pre-
mendo il pulsante (13).
- Mettere in movimento la macchina regolando la velocità
mediante il pedale (14); con velocità di lavoro a “passo
d’uomo” lo spazzamento è più efficace.
- Attraverso il pannello di ispezione (15) verificare la cor-
retta apirazione dei rifiuti; in caso di raccolta di materiali
voluminosi, aprire il flap mediante il pulsante (16).

5.4 - SWEEPING OPERATIONS
5.4.a - SWEEPING WORK START
- Remove the locking pins applied to the brushes for the
travel mode.
- Use the push-buttons (1) and (2) to turn on the working
beacons and rotating beacons.
- Press the push-button (3) to enable the work mode and,
if necessary, change the diesel engine speed (rpm) using
the push-button (4).
- Press the push-button (5) to start the dust suction unit.
- Use the joysticks (6) and (7) to lower and adjust the po-
sition of the side brushes and suction inlet.
- Press the push-button (8) to enable the 3rd brush (OPT)
and operate the controls of the respective push-button
panel and joystick (7) to adjust its movements and posi-
tion.
NOTE:
Whenever the 3rd brush (OPT) is enabled, the joystick
(7) adjusts its positions while the joystick (6) controls
only the lowering and lifting of the side brushes.
The controls and specific adjustments of the 3rd brush
(OPT) are described in paragraph 4.3.
- Press the push-buttons (9), (10) and (11) to supply water
to the side brushes and suction mouth and press the
push-button (12) to supply water to the 3rd brush (OPT).
- If necessary, press the push-button (13) to start the re-
cycling function (OPT).
- Press the pedal (14) to drive the machine and adjust its
speed; sweeping is more efficient when the machine is
moving at a walking pace.
- Check the correct suction of the sweepings through the
inspection panel (15); when collecting bulky material,
open the flap with the push-button (16).

Operando con pioggia o su strade bagnate mediante i
pulsanti (9), (10), (11), (12) e (13) arrestare la mandata
d’acqua alle spazzole laterali, alla bocca di aspirazione,

AVVERTENZA:
Se durante il normale lavoro di spazzamento i rifiuti o
parte di essi non venissero completamente aspirati ma
lasciati sul manto stradale, è necessario verificare che
il condotto di aspirazione non sia ostruito.
In tal caso, procedere come descritto nel paragrafo 6.2.
AVVERTENZA:
In caso di urto accidentale della 3a spazzola (OPT)
mentre è in funzione, la stessa rientra automaticamente
in sagoma.
Se l’urto è molto violento, invece, si può rompere la
vite di sicurezza che libera completamente il gruppo
spazzola; in tal caso è necessario sostituire la vite con
quella di scorta fornita in dotazione (vedere paragrafo
6.5).
5.4.b - FINE LAVORO DI SPAZZAMENTO
- Arrestare la mandata d’acqua alle spazzole laterali, alla
bocca di aspirazione, alla 3a spazzola (OPT) e la funzione
di riciclo (OPT) mediante i pulsanti (9), (10), (11), (12) e
(13).
- Fermare la rotazione e sollevare le spazzole (facendole
rientrare in sagoma) e la bocca di aspirazione mediante
i joystick (6) e (7).
- Disabilitare la 3a spazzola (OPT) premendo il pulsante
(8).
- Arrestare l’aspiratore polveri e disinserire la fase di lavoro
mediante i pulsanti (5) e (3).
- Spegnere i fari di lavoro ed i fari rotanti mediante i pulsanti
(1) e (2).

CAUTION:
When operating under the rain or on wet roads, operate
the push-buttons (9), (10), (11), (12) and (13) to stop the
supply of water to the side brushes, suction mouth, 3rd
brush (OPT) and to stop the recycling function (OPT).
CAUTION:
If, during normal sweeping, not all the waste is vacuu-
med but part of it is left on the ground, it is necessary
to check the suction duct and make sure it is not clog-
ged.
In this case, proceed as described in paragraph 6.2.
CAUTION:
Should the 3rd brush (OPT) accidentally hit something
while it is operating, it will automatically move back in.
Should the impact be very violent, the safety screw
might break and thus free the brush unit completely. In
this case, the screw must be replaced with the attached
spare screw (see paragraph 6.5).
5.4.b - ENDING THE SWEEPING OPERATIONS
- Press the push-buttons (9), (10), (11), (12) and (13) to
stop the water supply to the side brushes, suction mouth,
3rd brush (OPT) as well as the recycling function (OPT).
- Using the joysticks (6) and (7), stop the brushes and lift
them (making them return inside the machine’s outline);
also lift the suction inlet.
- Press the push-button (8) to disable the 3rd brush (OPT).
- Use the push-buttons (5) and (3) to stop both the dust
suction unit and the work mode.
- Use the push-buttons (1) and (1) to turn off the working
beacons and rotating beacons.

5.4.c - SCARICO CONTENITORE
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Durante la fase di scarico dei rifiuti del contenitore è
consentito solo spostarsi a passo d’uomo sia in marcia
avanti che in retromarcia.
Questa operazione deve essere effettuaua con estrema
cautela e con macchina posta su superficie piana.
Durante la fase di scarico dei rifiuti del contenitore ve-
rificare sempre che non vi siano persone in vicinanza
della macchina; in tal caso interrompere la manovra.
- Raggiungere il luogo per lo scarico dei rifiuti.
- Inserire il freno di stazionamento (1) e posizionare la leva
selezione senso di marcia (2) al centro.
- Accertarsi che la leva (3) della pompa di ribaltamento
manuale del contenitore (4) (accessibile aprendo il por-
tello anteriore laterale destro) sia in posizione centrale.
- Premere il pulsante (5) per abilitare le funzioni di ribal-
tamento contenitore/scarico rifiuti ed il pulsante (6) per
mandare a regime di lavoro il motore diesel.
- Ruotare il selettore (7) in posizione “ “ per abilitare
l’apertura del portello di scarico rifiuti (8).
- Mantenere premuto il pulsante (9) verso “ “ fino al
completo ribaltamento del contenitore (4).
AVVERTENZA:
In caso di sovraccarico del contenitore oltre il valore
ammesso di portata, una sicurezza impedisce il ribalta-
mento dello stesso.
AVVERTENZA:
Dopo aver effettuato lo scarico dei rifiuti, controllare
che non siano rimasti detriti fra il portello di scarico (8)
e la bocca (10) del contenitore (4).
- A fine operazione, mantenere premuto il pulsante (11)
verso “ “ fino al completo abbassamento del conte-
nitore (4) e alla chiusura del portello di scarico rifiuti (8).
- Premere il pulsante (6) per diminuire il regime di lavoro del
motore diesel ed il pulsante (5) per escludere le funzioni
di ribaltamento contenitore/scarico rifiuti.

5.4.c - WASTE HOPPER DUMPING
WARNING DANGER:
While unloading waste from the container, the vehicle
must only move at a walking pace both forward and in
reverse.
This operation must be carried out with great caution
and with the machine on a leveled surface.
While the container is being unloaded, always make
sure that there is no one close to the machine, otherwise
interrupt the operation.
- Reach the waste dumping site.
- Engage the parking brake (1) and place the gear lever
(2) in the centre.
- Make sure that the lever (3) of the manual tilting pump
of the hopper (4) (open the right side front door to gain
access) is in central position.
- Press the push-button (5) to enable the hopper tilting/
waste dumping functions and the push-button (6) to rev
the diesel engine.
- Turn the selector (7) in position “ “ to enable the
opening of the waste dumping door (8).
- Keep the push-button (9) pressed toward “ “ until the
hopper (4) is completely tilted.
CAUTION:
In case the hopper’s load exceeds its payload, a safety
system impedes the tilting of the hopper.
CAUTION:
Once the waste has been dumped, check the space
between the discharge door (8) and the inlet (10) of the
hopper (4) and make sure it is empty of any waste.
- At the end of this operation, keep the push-button (11)
pressed toward “ “ until the hopper (4) is completely
lowered and the waste discharge door (8) is closed.
- Press the push-button (6) to decrease the diesel engine
speed and the push-button (5) to exclude the hopper
tilting/waste dumping functions.

- Tilt the waste hopper (see paragraph 4.1).

- Prelevare il tubo aspirafoglie (5) (riposto all’interno del
portello accessori) ed installare la sua estremità nell’in-
nesto (6) dopo aver rimosso il coperchio (7).
- Regolare l’impugnatura (8) del tubo (5) mediante il perno
(9).
- Abilitare la fase di lavoro della macchina premendo il
pulsante (10) e, se necessario, modificare il regime del
motore diesel mediante il pulsante (11).
- Avviare l’aspiratore polveri premendo il pulsante (12).
- Procedere alla raccolta delle foglie mantenendo l’imboc-
catura del tubo (5) ad una distanza adeguata dal terreno
ed agitare di tanto in tanto il tubo stesso per facilitare
l’aspirazione delle foglie.
- Se presente il kit acqua (utile ad esempio per la pulizia
dei tombini stradali) collegare l’estremità del suo tubo
flessibile (13) nell’innesto (14), azionare la pompa acqua
premendo il pulsante (15) e regolare la mandata d’acqua
tramite il rubinetto (16).
- A fine operazione arrestare la pompa acqua, l’aspiratore
polveri e disinserire la fase di lavoro mediante i pulsanti
(15), (12) e (10).
- Scollegare e riporre nella loro sede il tubo aspirafoglie
(5) ed il kit acqua (13).
- Rimontare il coperchio (7).
- Ribaltare il contenitore rifiuti e rimuovere il coperchio (3).
- Riabbassare il contenitore e riporre nella sua sede il
coperchio (3).

- Lower the hopper again.
- Remove the cover (7), withdraw the leaves suction hose
(5) (placed in the accessories door) and place its end in
the coupling (6).
- Adjust the handle (8) of the hose (5) with the pin (9).
- Press the push-button (10) to enable the working phase
of the machine and, if necessary, use the push-button
(11) to change the diesel engine speed.
- Press the push-button (12) to start the dust suction unit.
- Start collecting the leaves, keeping the inlet of the hose
(5) at a suitable distance of the ground and stir the hose
from time to time to make the suction of the leaves easier.
- If a water kit is available (useful to clean gully-holes),
connect the end of its flexible hose (13) with the coupling
(14), press the push-button (15) to operate the water
pump and adjust the water flow with the tap (16).
- At the end of this operation press the push-buttons (15),
(12) and (10) to stop the water pump, the dust suction
unit and stop the work mode.
- Disconnect the leaves suction hose (5) and the water kit
(13) and put them back in their housing.
- Re-assemble the cover (7).
- Tilt the waste hopper and remove the cover (3).
- Lower the hopper again and place the cover (3) back in
its housing.

5.5.b - LANCIA ACQUA ALTA PRESSIONE 5.5.b - HIGH PRESSURE WATER NOZZLE

ATTENZIONE PERICOLO: WARNING DANGER:

L’utilizzo della lancia acqua alta pressione è consigliato
solo a macchina ferma e con freno di stazionamento
inserito; se fosse necessario utilizzarla con macchina in
movimento, prestare la massima attenzione a non gene-
rare situazioni di pericolo verso se stessi, terze persone
e a non danneggiare cose e/o la macchina stessa.
- Verificare il livello d’acqua all’interno dei serbatoi dell’im-
pianto innaffiante; se necessario rifornirli (vedere para-

- Aprire il portello posteriore laterale destro e svolgere il
tubo (1) tirandolo fino alla lunghezza desiderata: rimane
bloccato in posizione; per riavvolgerlo è sufficiente tirarlo
e rilasciarlo.
- Prelevare la lancia acqua (2) (riposta all’interno del por-
tello accessori) ed alla sua estremità avvitare il raccordo
(3) del tubo (1).
- Abilitare la fase di lavoro della macchina premendo il
pulsante (4) e, se necessario, modificare il regime del
motore diesel mediante il pulsante (5).
- Avviare la pompa acqua alta pressione premendo il pul-
sante (6).
- Imbracciare la lancia (2), dirigerla nella direzione della
zona da lavare e premere il grilletto (7); mediante l’ugello
(8) si può variare il tipo di getto.
ATTENZIONE PERICOLO:
Indirizzare il getto della lancia sempre e solo in direzio-
ne della strada.
Prestare attenzione agli eventuali detriti rimossi dal
getto d’acqua in quanto potrebbero essere scagliati;
accertarsi quindi che nessuno entri nel raggio d’azione
della macchina e del getto della lancia.
- A fine operazione arrestare la pompa acqua alta pressio-
ne e disinserire la fase di lavoro mediante i pulsanti (6) e
(4).
- Premere il grilletto (7) per scaricare la pressione residua.
- Scollegare e riporre nella sua sede la lancia (2) e riav-

- Open the right side rear door and unwind the hose (1) until
reaching the desired length: the hose remains locked in
that position; to rewind it again, simply pull and release
it.
- Withdraw the water nozzle (2) (placed in the accessories
door) and screw the coupling (3) of the hose (1) to its end.
- Press the push-button (4) to enable the machine work
mode and, if necessary, use the push-button (5) to adjust
the diesel engine speed.
- Press the push-button (6) to start the high pressure water
pump.
- Grasp the nozzle (2), aim it toward the area to wash and
press the trigger (7); use the nozzle (8) to vary the type
of jet.
WARNING DANGER:
Always and only aim the jet of the nozzle toward the
street.
Pay close attention to any debris that could be remo-
ved by the water jet and thus be thrown away; make
sure that nobody gets inside the machine’s and nozzle
water jet’s range of operation.
- At the end of this operation, use the push-buttons (6) and
(4) to stop the high pressure water pump and disable the
work phase.
- Press the trigger (7) to release the remaining pressure.
- Disconnect the water nozzle (2) and put it back in its
