1) LA MACCHINA

1 PONTE Trave mobile orizzontalmente sui longheroni,
completa di slitta portatesta, realizzata in
carpenteria di acciaio elettrosaldata e zincata a
caldo per consentire elevata stabilità, durata nel
tempo e assorbimento delle vibrazioni e della
rumorosità.
2 TESTA Unità operatrice carpenteria di acciaio ad alta
PORTADISCO resistenza zincata a caldo, mobile orizzontalmente
sul ponte su guide a ricircolo di sfere e
verticalmente su guide cromate protette.
L’azionamento è elettronico.
La testa può ruotare automaticamente per eseguire
tagli diagonali da 0° a 180° anche a piccoli
incrementi su materiali duri.
Il bloccaggio è automatico.
3 LONGHERONI Guide fissate a ciascuna delle due spalle in
carpenteria di acciaio elettrosaldata zincata a caldo,
sono realizzate nello stesso materiale. Supportano
il ponte con cuscinetti a sfera, protetti da acqua e
polvere
4 BARRIERE DI La zona pericolosa compresa tra le spalle di
SICUREZZA sostegno del ponte è chiusa posteriormente da
barriere fisse.
Anteriormente dispositivi fotoelettrici arrestano la
macchina se si entra nella zona pericolosa.
5 DISCO Utensile diamantato, escluso dalla fornitura,
DIAMANTATO normalmente reperibile in commercio. E’ protetto
(escluso dalla da carter fonoassorbente e paraschegge e fissato
fornitura) direttamente all’albero del motore che è di tipo
speciale e compatto.

MACHINE GROUP AND GLOSSARY

BRIDGE Movable beam on the bridge guides, complete with
head-holder slide, made in electro-welded carpentry
hot galvanised for maximum stability and duration,
and a greater absorbency of vibrations and noise.
DISC- Operating head carpentry in highly resistant steel
HOLDER hot galvanised, moving horizontally on the guides in
HEAD oil bath of the bridge and vertically on chromium-
plated guides suitably protected.
Electronic operation.
The head can rotate automatically to execute
diagonal cuts from 0° to 180° also with small
increments on hard materials.
The locking is automatic.
BRIDGE Guides fastened to each of the two shoulders in
GUIDES electro-welded hot galvanised steel carpentry, are
made of the same material. They support the bridge
with ball bearings, protected from water and dust.
SAFETY The danger zone comprised between the
BARRIERS supporting abutments of the bridge is closed from
behind by fixed barriers.
At the front, photoelectric devices stop the machine
if the danger zone is entered.
DIAMOND Diamond tool, excluded from the supply, normally
DISC on sale. It is protected by soundproof casing and
(excluded from splinter arrester and installed directly on the motor
the supply) shaft, which is special and compact.

6 SOPRA- Piano in legno, è necessario per eseguire le
TAVOLA lavorazioni. Infatti, per effettuare il taglio, il disco
deborda sempre inferiormente al materiale di
qualche millimetro e incide il piano d’appoggio. La
sopratavola serve dunque a proteggere il piano
metallico della tavola. Periodicamente deve essere
spianata e, quando è logora, sostituita.
7 TAVOLA La tavola è in acciaio zincato a caldo e può essere
ribaltata, tramite azionatori idraulici, per facilitare il
carico e lo scarico delle lavorazioni.
8 PULSANTIERA Pulsantiera pensile, supportata da braccio
orientabile per potersi avvicinare al lavoro in fase di
preparazione, dispone di display con
TOUCHSCREEN e dei comandi per il controllo dei
movimenti.
9 ARMADIO L’armadio che racchiude le apparecchiature
ELETTRICO elettriche ed elettroniche è dotato di pannello con i
comandi primari.

GARANZIA
- Il costruttore garantisce che le macchine di sua
produzione sono esenti da vizi e da difetti di
materiale per una durata di sei mesi dalla data di
consegna e comunque non oltre 1000 ore
lavorative, con esclusione delle parti elettriche.
- La garanzia comunque prestata non dà diritto
all'acquirente ad alcuna pretesa di danni o
rimborsi di qualsiasi natura. Il costruttore si
impegna a riparare o a sostituire nel tempo
necessario pezzi riconosciuti difettosi per
fabbricazione, con l'esclusione di ogni e qualsiasi
rottura, difetto, guasto che possa derivare da
negligenza di manutenzione o di lavoro, da
incuria, da usura d'esercizio, da nocive condizioni
ambientali e dall'inosservanza delle informazioni
contenute in questo manuale.
- Qualora al macchinario vengano apportate
modifiche eseguite dall'acquirente di propria
iniziativa, la garanzia decade immediatamente.
- Le spese di trasporto per l'eventuale intervento
in garanzia e per ogni altro ritorno per qualsiasi
ragione, sono tutte ad esclusivo carico
dell’acquirente.
- Sono altresì a carico dell'acquirente eventuali
oneri doganali, nonché le prestazioni del
personale tecnico comprensive di spese di
viaggio, vitto e alloggio.
- Sono esclusi dalla garanzia eventuali utensili e
materiali forniti assieme alla macchina
- Anche dopo l’acquisizione dell’ordine iIl
costruttore può apportare modifiche alla
macchina se, a suo insindacabile giudizio,
rappresentano una miglioria al prodotto.
− Condizioni diverse da quelle sopra elencate,
stipulate in fase contrattuale, saranno
considerate prevalenti rispetto ad esse.

TOP TABLE Wooden surface, necessary to execute the

Glossario
Glossary
GUARANTEE
- The producer guarantees that its machines are
exempt from vices and faults of the material for
six months duration after delivery date and
anyway no longer than 1000 working hours,
except for electrical parts.
- The guarantee does not grant the purchaser the
right to any damage claim or refunding. The
producer binds itself to repair or replace the
manufacturing defects, excluding any breakage,
defect, fault deriving from maintenance or work
default, from negligence, wear, bad
environmental conditions and disregard of the
information contained in this manual.
- Should the purchaser on its own initiative modify
the machinery, the guarantee will be rendered
immediately void.
- The shipping expenses for any intervention in
guarantee and for any return for whichever
reason are chargeable exclusively to the
purchaser.
- Any customs expenses as well as service of the
technical staff including travel, board and lodging
expenses are also chargeable to the purchaser.
- Tools and goods supplied with the machine are
not included in the warranty.
- Also after your order, the producer can modify
the machine, if the company thinks that the
modification can be useful for the machine
- Any other condition, different from the above,
agreed during the signature of the contract, will
be considered prevailing with respect to the
others.

alla sicurezza, alla movimentazione,
all’installazione e allo smantellamento, alle
modalità d’uso e di manutenzione, all’assistenza
e ai ricambi della macchina.
- Pertanto il manuale d’istruzione, per l’importanza
che assume nei riguardi della sicurezza, deve
essere letto attentamente e capito prima di
accingersi a utilizzare la macchina e tutte le volte
che insorgano dubbi e problemi.
- Le istruzioni non possono sostituire l’esperienza
dell’utilizzatore, nè sopperire alla mancanza di
preparazione dell’operatore preposto alla
macchina.
- Le presenti istruzioni per l’uso, unitamente agli
allegati e al fascicolo separato degli schemi

enclosures the producer wants to provide the
user (i.e. to the factory manager, operator,
maintenance manager) all the information
required for safety, handling, installation and
disassembly, operation and maintenance,
servicing and spare parts of the machine.
- Therefore the instruction manual, due to its
importance for what concerns safety, must be
carefully read before using the machine and in
case of doubts or problems.
- The instructions cannot replace the experience of
the user, nor compensate for the lack of
preparation of the operator in charge of the
machine.
- These instructions for use, together with the
enclosures and the separate leaflet of the wiring
diagrams, are an integral part of the machine
and must always go with it in case of company
relocations or when the property is transferred to
third parties.

DISPOSITIVI DI PROTEZIONE
- La macchina è dotata di ripari in lamiera per
evitare il contatto con parti pericolose e di vari
dispositivi elettromeccanici di sicurezza (barriera
antinfortunistica, pulsanti di emergenza,
microinterruttori di finecorsa, sensori, segnali
luminosi…) per garantire l’incolumità delle
persone e danni alla macchina.
- L’accesso alla macchina è consentito solo dal lato
frontale, protetto dalla barriera a fotocellule.
- La violazione della barriera provoca l’arresto della
macchina in condizioni di emergenza, della
rotazione del disco in modalità frenata e dei
movimenti sui vari assi.
- L’avvio del disco e dei cicli automatici è
consentito solo con barriera inserita.
- Inoltre sulla testa porta disco è applicata una
bandella con funzione di protezione
antischiacciamento sempre attiva con micro di

- E' assolutamente proibito neutralizzare,

PROTECTION DEVICES
- The machine has sheet protections, in order to
avoid the contact with the dangerous parts and
the several safety devices (safety barrier,
emergency buttons, end of stroke micro-
switches, sensors, luminous signals...) also for
the safety of the persons and the machine.
- The machine can be accessed only from the
frontal side, protected by the photocell barriers.
- When you pass the barriers, disc rotation stops
in braking mode and the several axes
movements stop.
- The disc start and the automatic cycle is allowed
only with the barriers ON.
- Also on the blade head is applied with a strip
anti-crushing protection always active with safety
switch.
- No safety, protection or control devices of the
machine can be neutralised, removed or made
inefficient, wherever they are located.
- All protection and safety devices must always be
kept in perfect and constant efficiency.
BARRIERS EXCLUDED MODE
- THE BARRIERS EXCLUDED MODE IS RESERVED TO
QUALIFIED AND PROPERLY INSTRUCTED OPERATOR
- EXCLUDING BARRIER WITH SPECIAL SELECTOR KEY, YOU
CAN MOVE THE AXES WITH SPEED CONTROL AND

PERSONALE ADDETTO
- Operatore è personale specializzato preposto
all’impiego di normale produzione della
macchina, alla sua programmazione e al carico-
scarico del materiale da lavorare. Può anche
eseguire semplici interventi di pulizia e
manutenzione ordinaria, a protezioni disabilitate,
secondo le istruzioni del presente manuale.
- Meccanico manutentore è un tecnico
qualificato autorizzato ad eseguire, con protezioni
disabilitate, interventi di manutenzione sulla
macchina, esclusi quelli sulle parti elettriche.
- Elettricista manutentore è un tecnico
qualificato autorizzato ad eseguire, con protezioni
disabilitate, interventi di manutenzione su tutto
l’impianto elettrico della macchina, anche in
presenza di tensione.
- Tecnico del costruttore è persona qualificata
che il costruttore mette a disposizione per
l’installazione della macchina, l’addestramento
del personale e per eventuali interventi, anche
complessi, che si rendano poi necessari.
- E' assolutamente vietato far lavorare alla
macchina persone non qualificate che non
abbiano ricevuto le istruzioni sulla sicurezza.
- Prima di iniziare qualsiasi lavorazione,
concentrare tutta la propria attenzione su ciò che
ci si accinge a fare
- E' vietato azionare la macchina quando si è sotto
l'influenza dell'alcool, di psicofarmaci o di droghe.
- Qualora l'operatore fosse soggetto ad un malore
o condizionamento fisico sfavorevole, anche
leggero, che possa ridurre il grado di vigilanza,
dovrà evitare di mettere in funzione la macchina
e informare il responsabile dell'impianto.
- Qualora si verificassero situazioni di immediato
pericolo il manovratore deve premere il tasto di
emergenza (pulsante rosso a fungo su sfondo
giallo) situato bene in vista sulla pulsantiera e
sull’armadio elettrico: tale operazione consente
l'immediato arresto della macchina.
- Le targhette segnaletiche di indicazione e di
pericolo devono essere conservate in piena
efficienza e al loro posto.
- In caso di deterioramento richiederle al
costruttore.

ASSIGNED PERSONNEL
- Operator is the specialised person who uses
the machine daily in ordinary production, loads
and unloads the material to process, sets the
machine, does maintenance and cleaning, with
the safety devices OFF looking at the instructions
in this handbook.
- Mechanic in charge of maintenance is the
specialised authorised technician who can carry
out the maintenance on the machine, with the
safety devices OFF, electric parts excluded
- Electrotechnician in charge of maintenance
is a qualified authorised technician, who can
carry out the maintenance on the electric
system, with the safety devices OFF, also with
the power on
- Producer’s Technician is the qualified person
supplied by the manufacturer, who has to install
the machine, train the users and do complex
interventions.
- Unauthorised persons who are not acquainted
with the safety instructions cannot absolutely
work on the machine.
- Before beginning any operation, concentrate on
what has to be done.
- The machine cannot be operated under the
influence of alcohol, medicines or drugs.
- Should the operator be taken ill all of a sudden
or feel sick, even slightly, decreasing in this way
his alertness, he must not operate the machine
and he must inform the plant manager.
- Should situations of immediate danger occur, the
operator must press the emergency key (red
mushroom button on yellow background) placed
in view on the push-button panel and on the
control box: this operation stops the machine
immediately.
- The data, rating and danger plates must be kept
in an efficient way and in their positions.
- In case of wear, contact the constructor.

- Nonostante la macchina sia stata concepita e
prodotta integrando la sicurezza nella
progettazione e nella costruzione, durante il suo
funzionamento rimangono dei rischi residui.
- L’utensile è protetto per quanto possibile dal
carter copridisco. Rimane tuttavia un rischio
residuo di proiezione di parti di utensile e di
pietra nel momento in cui avvenga una rottura
accidentale, in quanto non è possibile
proteggerlo ulteriormente.
- Nell’armadio elettrico della macchina sono
installati inverter che operano con alta tensione:
venendo a contatto con essi, può verificarsi uno
shock elettrico molto pericoloso.
- Dopo lo spegnimento, attendere sempre circa 5
minuti prima di operare su tali apparecchiature in
modo che i condensatori relativi abbiano il tempo
di scaricare la tensione accumulata.
- Raggio segnataglio: non fissare il fascio nè ad
occhio nudo, nè tramite uno strumento ottico:
pericolo di radiazione laser
- (solo per segatrici dotate di BLOCCALASTRE
pneumatico) mantenersi lontani dall’area di
lavoro e dalla tavola portapezzi per evitare rischi
di schiacciamento
Il progetto strutturale dei meccanismi e degli schemi di

Mantenendo un corretto e cosciente comportamento, anche i

RESIDUAL RISKS OF TRANSPORTATION
- THE HANDLING OPERATIONS MAY BE DANGEROUS
FOR THE PERSONS IN CHARGE.
- ONLY TRAINED AND COMPETENT PERSONNEL MUST
BE IN CHARGE OF HANDLING.
- DURING HANDLING, A PERSON IN CHARGE OF
SIGNALLING IS REQUIRED ON THE GROUND AND
EVERYTHING MUST BE DONE WITH GREAT CARE.
- THE CHOICE AND UTILISATION OF THE MEANS FIT
FOR LIFTING AND HANDLING THE MACHINE IS THE
CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY.
- WE STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST USING LIFT TRUCKS
THAT DO NOT ALLOW A SAFE COUPLING, ESPECIALLY
FOR HANDLING THE HEAD-HOLDER BRIDGE.
- USE CRANES WITH A SUFFICIENT CARRYING
CAPACITY AND THE SPECIAL SUPPORTS EQUIPPED
- TAKE CARE DURING THE TRANSPORT AND LIFTING
AND MAKE SURE THAT THE MACHINE IS ALWAYS IN
BALANCE.
- LIVE PARTS MUST BE ACCESSIBLE ONLY TO
QUALIFIED AND AUTHORISED PERSONNEL.
RESIDUAL RISKS OF PUTTING INTO USE
- Even if the machine has been conceived and
produced integrating the safety in the design and
construction, residual risks are still present
during the operation.
- The tool is protected as much as possible by the
hood for blade. However a residual risk of
ejection of tool parts and stones when an
accidental breakage occurs is still present since it
is not possible to protect it further.
- The control box of the machine contains
inverters working at high voltage: if one comes
in contact with the latter, a very dangerous
electric shock may occur.
- After shutdown, wait for approx. 5 minutes
before working on such equipment so that the
relative condensers have the time to discharge
the accumulated voltage.
- Signing cut: do not fix your bare eyes on the
beam nor by means of an optical instrument:

- (only for saw with pneumatic SLAB PRESSERS)
Stay away from the working area and the table
in order to avoid risks
The structural project of the control devices and diagrams
of the machine during the working cycle and during the
other operating modes is carried out according to the
Safety requirements and assures the safe operation of the
machine, if its condition corresponds to the technical
documentation supplied with the machine and if the
utilisation rules are strictly followed according to what is
provided in this manual.
With a correct and mindful behaviour the residual risks
can be easily avoided.

all’utente ha lo stesso comportamento nei riguardi del
rumore di una macchina ‘tipo’ sulla quale è stato eseguito il
rilevamento.
L’allegato - ATTESTATO DI COLLAUDO ACUSTICO -
riporta gli esiti dei rilevamenti fonometrici eseguiti da un
laboratorio specializzato su una macchina di caratteristiche
simili all’esemplare a cui si riferiscono le presenti istruzioni,
assunta come macchina ‘tipo’.

the acoustic test report on a typical machine – the
producer certifies that the machine model delivered to
the user behaves with regard to noise in the same way
as a ‘typical’ machine on which the detection was made.

indicates the results of the phonometric detections
carried out by a qualified laboratory on a machine having

TRASPORTO E IMBALLAGGIO
La macchina in versione standard è confezionata in 3
colli di spedizione, adeguatamente legati per evitare
possibili danni durante il trasporto.

è allegato alla fine del presente manuale.

INSTALLATION
USUALLY THE TECHNICIANS OF THE PRODUCER

INSTALL THE MACHINE. THEY ALSO PROVIDE THE MAIN
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE MACHINE AND CARRY
OUT THE FINAL TESTING.
- IF THE CUSTOMER INTENDS TO INSTALL THE MACHINE
ON HIS OWN, HE NEEDS THE AUTHORISATION OF THE
PRODUCER AS WELL AS ALL THE REQUIRED
INFORMATION.
- DURING THE PREPARATION AND INSTALLATION OF THE
MACHINE ON SITE, FOLLOW THE KNOWN RULES
CONCERNING THE FIXING, LOAD DISPLACEMENT AND
WORK EXECUTION AT A CERTAIN HEIGHT.
- THE CONNECTION SYSTEMS OF THE MACHINE MUST
ALWAYS BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL OR
COMPANIES.
CHECKING THE MACHINE ON RECEPTION
- Inspect and check the material according to the
delivery bill and the list of parcels.
- Verify the packaging before removing it.
- While unpacking, it is advisable to check
carefully the parts forming the machine and the
fittings to see if anything is missing or if they
have suffered any damage during transport.
FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LACK, INFORM IMMEDIATELY THE
LOCAL AGENT OF THE FORWARDER OR CONTACT THE
PRODUCER
STOCKING
A LONG PERIOD OF STOCKING (OVER 12 MONTHS) IS NOT
ADVISABLE.
If it is necessary to keep the machine inactive waiting
for its installation it is necessary to:
- put the machine indoor
- lay off a rust preventer waxy coating, normally
on sale;
- cover it with a sheet of polyethylene.
TRANSPORT AND PACKAGING
The standard version of the machine is packed in 3
shipping parcels, properly tied in order to avoid any
damages during transportation.

documents of the machine that the producer
sends the purchaser before starting the
foundations works.
BEFORE BUILDING THE FOUNDATION, THE USER MUST

CARRY OUT A PRELIMINARY CHECK OF THE GEOLOGICAL
CONFIGURATION OF THE GROUND ON WHICH THE MACHINE
SHALL BE INSTALLED. FROM THIS POINT OF VIEW THE
FOUNDATION DRAWINGS ARE MERELY BY WAY OF
INDICATION AND MUST BE ADAPTED TO THE NATURE OF
THE GROUND.
- THE FOUNDATIONS CARRIED OUT ACCORDING TO SUCH
DRAWINGS MUST HAVE DRAINS AND DEEP EXCAVATIONS
SCREENED.
- IN CASE OF EXCAVATIONS DEEPER THAN 1,5 M WITH
VERTICAL WALLS, PREPARE HOLDS OR STEPS.
- FOR ANY INFORMATION, PROBLEMS OR SPECIFIC

I conduttori degli impianti di alimentazione (elettrica,

Sarà cura dell’utente predisporre:
- un interruttore generale a parete a monte della
macchina adeguatamente dimensionato in base alla
corrente a pieno carico indicata all’inizio del presente
manuale e sulla targa di marcatura CE;
- un differenziale magnetotermico a monte
dell'alimentazione della macchina;
- i cavi di alimentazione di sezione pari a quella indicata
sui disegni di fondazione e nella Tabella Macchina
allegata.
- I cavi della linea devono fuoriuscire dal pavimento in
corrispondenza della scatola di connessione, come
indicato nei disegni di fondazione.
- Le parti metalliche della macchina sono tutte collegate
alla barra di terra del quadro che deve essere allacciata
all’impianto di messa a terra del laboratorio.
- L’impianto di messa a terra del laboratorio deve
rispettare le norme vigenti, tenendo presente che
l’ambiente è normalmente bagnato o molto umido.

The conductors of the supply system (power, water,
pneumatic, oil) should be of such a dimension to
support the maximum absorption of the machine,
shown in the foundation drawings and in the Machine
Table attached.
THE CONNECTION SHOULD BE MADE BY THE CUSTOMER, BY
QUALIFIED PERSONS COMPLYING WITH RULES IN FORCE

LIVE PARTS MUST BE ACCESSIBLE ONLY TO QUALIFIED AND
AUTHORISED PERSONNEL.

Supply connections
It is the user's responsibility to prepare the following:
- a main wall-type switch upstream the machine
properly sized according to the full-load current
indicated at the beginning of this manual and on the
EC marking plate;
- a magneto thermal differential upstream the machine
power supply;
- the power supply cables with a section equal to the
one indicated on the foundation drawings and the
Machine Table.
- The electric supply cables have to exit from the floor
under the connection box as indicated in the
foundation drawings.
- The machine metallic parts are all connected with the
earth bar of the panel, which should be connected with
the earthing installation of the factory.
- The Grounding system of the factory, should comply
with the duty rules, taking into account that the
environment is usually wet or very damp.
THE SAFETY OF THE GROUNDING OF ALL MACHINE GROUPS MUST
BE CHECKED REGULARLY.

Il tecnico installatore dopo aver posizionato e sigillato la
macchina sulla fondazione e aver rimosso i bloccaggi di
trasporto, esegue le seguenti operazioni per collegare la
macchina alla rete:
- apertura dell’armadio con l’apposita chiave in dotazione
e collegamento di tutti i cavi elettrici provenienti dal
ponte e supportati dalla catena portacavi (a);
- verifica dell’idoneità dell’impianto elettrico:
- verifica della tensione di linea (che sia quella
prevista per la macchina e nei limiti di
tolleranza +/- 3%)
- verifica dello schema elettrico (che sia
corrispondente a quel tipo di macchina)
- collegamento del cavo di terra (giallo-verde)
e dei tre conduttori di alimentazione alla
morsettiera nelle rispettive posizioni PE, L1,
L2, L3;
- per verificare se il collegamento delle tre fasi
è corretto, osserva se il motore di un asse
qualsiasi ruota nel senso previsto (altrimenti
scambia il collegamento in morsettiera di due
conduttori qualsiasi delle tre fasi);
- tutti gli altri motori, essendo gestiti da
inverter ruotano sempre nel senso esatto;
- una freccia gialla sul carter copridisco indica
l'esatto senso di rotazione del disco.
- esegue il controllo e l’eventuale messa a punto della
segatrice e dei dispositivi di sicurezza

Water supply
- The machine requires cooling water for the disc.
- A ¾” water pipeline with 3/4” main tap and 3 bar
pressure should be put into place
- The water must be clean or decanted.
- Water supply must ensure at the connection point
with the machine system the minimum flow rate
and pressure indicated in the attached Machine
Table.
THE USE OF SPECIAL COOLING FLUID CAN NOT BE RECOGNISED
-
BY THE PRODUCER IT ‘S THE USER THAT SHOULD CHECK THE
FLUID AND THE RELATIVE TOXIC SHEETS OF THE PRODUCT.
- LOW TEMPERATURES - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS MUST BE USED
FOR TEMPERATURES BELOW ZERO SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE THE
COOLING DEVICE AND FOR TEMPERATURES OVER 40° C SO AS
TO ENSURE THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE ELECTRIC AND
ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT.
DISPOSAL
THE WATERS OF PROCESS MUST BE TREATED APPROPRIATELY BY
THE USER ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS IN FORCE IN THE PLACE
OF INSTALLATION.
REGULATION AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE MACHINE
THE INSTALLATION OF THE MACHINE IS ALWAYS DONE BY THE
PRODUCER TECHNICIANS, WHO NOT ONLY INSTRUCT THE
PERSONNEL ON MACHINE USE BUT ALSO CARRY OUT THE FINAL
TEST.
Once the technician has positioned and fixed the machine
on its foundations, removed the transport blocking devices,
does the following operations before connecting to the main
power supply:
- opening of the cabinet door using the special key and
connecting the relative cables coming from the bridge
and supported by the cable holder chain (a);
- checks electric system conformity:
- line voltage corresponding to the one
intended for the machine and within the
tolerance limits +/- 3%
- wiring diagram for that type of machine
- connection of the ground cable (yellow-
green) and the three power supply
conductors to the terminal board in the
corresponding positions PE, L1, L2, L3
- in order to check if the connection of three
phases is correct, check if the motor of an
axis turns in the expected direction
(otherwise exchange the connection in the
terminal board of any two wires of the three
phases);
- all other motors, being run from inverters,
rotate always in the same direction;
- a yellow arrow placed on the disc cover
casing indicates the exact direction of
blade rotation.

REINSTALLAZIONI
Smontaggio della macchina
Nell’eventualità si renda necessario smontare la
macchina per rimuoverla o trasferirla ad altra
ubicazione interpellare il costruttore per avere
l’assistenza e le informazioni necessarie per lo
smontaggio.
Lo smontaggio prevede generalmente le seguenti
operazioni:
- scollegamento della macchina da tutte le
alimentazioni (elettriche/ idriche/ pneumatiche);
- scollegamento delle catene portacavi;
- smontaggio del disco e di eventuali altri utensili
installati;
- svuotamento completo di tutti i fluidi contenuti
nella macchina (in particolare i lubrificanti) e
relativo smaltimento in osservanza alle
disposizioni di legge vigenti;
- approntamento dei cavalletti di sostegno e di
sollevamento del ponte completo di testa (v.
documenti di fondazione);
- adeguato fissaggio della pulsantiera pensile
all’armadio elettrico per consentirne la
movimentazione senza rischi;
- sollevamento e trasferimento del ponte, della
tavola, del quadro elettrico completo di
pulsantiera e dei longheroni, seguendo le
istruzioni di aggancio e movimentazione riportate
a pagina 18.
Smantellamento
Alla fine del ciclo di vita funzionale della macchina,
per lo smantellamento della macchina interpellare il
costruttore per avere l’assistenza e le informazioni
necessarie per lo smontaggio.
La ditta utilizzatrice ultima deve procedere
all'alienazione della macchina nel rispetto delle
normative vigenti, eseguendo le seguenti operazioni:
- svuotamento dei fluidi lubrificanti;
- separazione del materiale elettrico (motori,
teleruttori, guaine, cavi, ecc.);
- separazione dei componenti in materiale plastico
o a base di polimeri;
- separazione dei componenti metallici per
tipologia (acciaio, ghisa, alluminio, bronzo...
- smaltimento differenziato.

Machine disassembly
Should it be necessary to disassemble the machine to
remove it or transfer it to another location, Please
contact the producer for the required disassembly
help and information.
The disassembly consists in the following operations:
- disconnecting the machine from all the (power/
water/ air) supplies;
- disconnecting the cable holder chains;
- disassembly of the disc and any installed tool;
- complete emptying of all the fluids contained in
the machine (in particular the lubricants) and
relative disassembly in compliance with the
provisions of law in force;
- preparation of the supporting and lifting stands
of the bridge complete with head (the
corresponding drawings are enclosed with the
foundation documents);
- proper fixing of the push-button panel to the
control box for handling them without risks;
- lifting and transfer of the bridge, the table, the
switchboard complete of push-button panel and
of the longitudinal members, according to the
coupling and handling instructions indicated on
page 18.
Disassembly
At the end of the machine’s life cycle, contact the
producer for the disassembly of the machine in order
to obtain the required help and information for
disassembly.
The company who has last used the machine must
dispose of it in compliance with the regulations in
force by carrying out the following operations:
- emptying the lubricant fluids;
- separating the electric material (motors, remote
control switches, sheaths, cables, etc.);
- separating the plastic materials or those based
on polymers;
- separating the metal components by type (steel,
cast iron, aluminium, bronze...
- differentiated disposal

5) FUNZIONAMENTO ED USO
- La segatrice a ponte è automatica per quanto
riguarda le lavorazioni di taglio.
- Il carico e lo scarico del materiale non è eseguito
dalla macchina.
- Per la lavorazione automatica l’operatore è
tenuto solamente a effettuare prima la
programmazione del ciclo di lavoro, poi a
verificare il corretto funzionamento apportando
eventuali regolazioni.
- Le istruzioni per le regolazioni e la
programmazione della macchina sono contenute
nel seguito e negli allegati.

EXPECTED AND UNEXPECTED USE
- Monobloc bridge sawing machine BRIO
has been designed and built to make cuts on
marble and granite slabs with diamond discs
and tools having proper characteristics, which
are excluded from the supply and are normally
on sale.
MATERIALS DIFFERENT FROM THOSE SHOWN ARE NOT
COMPATIBLE WITH THE MACHINE AND CAN CAUSE DANGEROUS
SITUATIONS.
- The machine is designed to work in industrial
environments and cannot work in an explosive
environment. The machine is designed to be
installed indoors.
- The software of the machine offers the user a
simple and flexible use. However the wide
operating setting and programming possibilities
of the machine require that the staff assigned to
its utilisation is appropriately instructed for the
work to be done (the manufacturer can give the
necessary training support to the operators).

chiave applicato al pannello di comando che
consente al responsabile aziendale di escludere
solo la barriera di sicurezza, attivare la velocità

- Indossare scarpe antisdrucciolevoli in quanto
spesso la presenza di polvere e acqua rende
scivoloso il pavimento attorno alla macchina che
comunque deve essere sempre tenuto pulito.
- E' vietato all'operatore attivare i meccanismi che
non sono necessari al ciclo operativo in corso.
Tutte le impostazioni necessarie per passare ad
altro tipo di funzionamento della macchina
devono essere eseguite dall'addetto alla
regolazione e dal caporeparto del laboratorio.
- Il fabbricante non è responsabile dei guasti della
macchina in caso di discrepanza con le norme di
accuratezza, di incidenti avvenuti durante il
lavoro della macchina, se l'utilizzatore non si è
attenuto a quanto indicato nella documentazione
tecnica durante l'installazione, il montaggio e la
regolazione della macchina e se ha violato le
regole di sfruttamento, servizio e riparazione
della stessa.

- The operator must always be provided with
personal protection devices: gloves and goggles
(when entering the danger zone), soundproofing
headsets or other personal soundproofing device,
adherent working overalls without holds and
gloves can avoid many accidents.
- Wear anti-skid shoes because often the presence
of dust and water make the floor around the
machine slippery; the machine must always be
kept clean.
- The devices that are not required for the current
working cycle must not be activated by the
operator. All the settings necessary to switch to
another kind of working of the machine must be
carried out by the person in charge of the
adjustment and by the department foreman.
- The manufacturer refuses all liability for the
failure of the machine in case of discrepancy with
the accuracy standards, for accidents occurred
during machine operation deriving from an
improper or different use from the technical
specifications during the installation, assembly
and adjustment of the machine and if the user
has violated the utilisation, service and repair
rules of the machine.

mandrino in caso di attraversamento della
barriera ottica anteriore o di azionamento del

UNDERHEAD L.S. safety limit stop against blade and head

Safety mushroom-head button EMERGENCY
The previous figure indicates the limit stop positions
installed on the machine to accomplish safety functions
against overloads and overruns in order to control the
lifting/lowering, cut/return, forward/backward movements
related to the programmed settings.
The function of these devices is described in detail in the
following pages that concern programming.
ELECTRIC SAFETY BARRIERS
- IN NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS, WHEN THE
SAFETY BARRIERS ARE ACTIVE, IT IS
ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO WORK WITH THE KEY
INSERTED IN THE PANEL: IT MUST BE KEPT IN A
SAFE PLACE AND ACCESSIBLE TO THE PERSON IN
CHARGE OR TO A PERSON APPOINTED BY HIM.
- IN ORDER NOT TO BREACH THE PROTECTION, THE
MACHINE MUST ALWAYS BE OPERATED BY A
SINGLE PERSON IN ORDER TO AVOID THAT OTHERS
RESET THE BARRIER WHILE THE OPERATOR IS
STILL IN THE DANGER ZONE.
The machine is complete with:
- electric barrier, which prevents both the
operator and others front access to the area
where the tools work while the machine is
running;
- fixed mechanical barrier, which prevents rear
access to the area where the tools work:
- MOUNTED (the machine is not installed
against a wall that prevents rear access
to the danger zone)
- NOT MOUNTED (the machine is installed
against a wall that prevents rear access
to the danger zone)
- brake to stop quickly the rotation of the
spindle in case the front optical barrier has been

RISCHIO SPECIFICO E PROTEZIONE INDIVIDUALE
RISCHI RIGUARDANTI LA MACCHINA
- L’uso della macchina deve essere limitato ai fini
per i quali è stata progettata e costruita, ovvero
per il taglio di materiali lapidei come marmi e
graniti per edilizia mediante dischi diamantati di
dimensione indicata nei dati tecnici.
- E' vietato eseguire con la macchina operazioni
che superino le possibilità energetiche della
macchina stessa o che non siano noti.
RISCHI RIGUARDANTI IL MATERIALE
- Prima di iniziare un ciclo di lavorazione accertarsi
che il materiale da tagliare sia tra quelli previsti e
correttamente sistemato da personale esperto.
- Le dimensioni massime delle lastre o dei masselli
caricabili sulla tavola della macchina non devono
eccedere le misure indicate al nei dati tecnici.
- Per garantire la stabilità ed evitare sollecitazioni
anomale alle strutture, il materiale deve essere
posizionato in modo che il suo baricentro sia il
più prossimo possibile al centro tavola.
- Non sono previsti staffaggi del materiale per
fissarlo al piano della sopratavola, tuttavia se la
lastra pesa meno di 25 Kg è necessario adottare
opportuni accorgimenti che le impediscano di
muoversi durante il taglio (il costruttore può
fornire a richiesta specifici accessori per il
corretto fissaggio di particolari materiali da
tagliare)
- L’addetto che esegue sotto la propria
responsabilita’ le operazioni manuali di carico e
scarico deve indossare idonee protezioni (scarpe
antinfortunistiche, guanti, ecc.) e impedire che
altri sostino o transitino nelle zone di carico e
scarico.
RISCHI RIGUARDANTI GLI UTENSILI
- Non utilizzare dischi o altri utensili non bilanciati
o non previsti dal costruttore.
- L'impiego di utensili differenti e il trattamento di
materiali diversi dai marmi e graniti naturali
potrebbero non adattarsi alle caratteristiche della
macchina e comprometterne la sicurezza d'uso.
- Il disco deve avere caratteristiche di guarnitura
adatte al materiale che si intende lavorare: per la
scelta dell'utensile e della velocità di rotazione
più adatta, l'utente si consigli con il proprio
fornitore di fiducia di dischi diamantati.
- Allo scopo di contenere le emissioni sonore si
consiglia vivamente l'uso di dischi costruiti con
anima silenziata.
- Una procedura errata di fissaggio può creare seri
pericoli per l'operatore

RISKS CONCERNING THE MACHINE
- The machine must be used exclusively for the
purposes for which it has been designed and
built, i.e. for cutting stony material as marble
and granite by means of diamond discs of the
size indicated in the specifications.
- The machine cannot be used to carry out
operations that go beyond the energy
possibilities of the machine as well as those
unknown
RISKS CONCERNING THE MATERIAL
- Before starting a working cycle, make sure that
the material to be cut is in compliance with those
expected and set correctly by qualified
personnel.
- The maximum dimensions of the slabs or of the
blocks loadable on the machine must not exceed
the measures indicated in the engineering data.
- In order to have stability and to avoid anomalous
structure stresses, the material should be placed
having its barycentre as near as possible to the
table centre.
- No stirrups are envisaged for the material to
fasten it on the table top, but if the slab weight
is less than 25 Kg, it’s necessary to take actions
that prevent it from moving during the cutting
(the constructor can supply on demand specific
tools in order to fasten some materials properly)
- The person in charge that executes under its
own exclusive liability the manual loading and
unloading operations must wear proper
protections (accident-prevention shoes, gloves,
etc.) and prevent others from stopping or
passing in the loading and unloading areas
RISKS CONCERNING THE TOOLS
- Do not use imbalanced discs or other tools or
that the manufacturer did not contemplate.
- The use of different tools and the treatment of
materials different from marble and granite may
not fit the machine’s characteristics and may
harm its safe use.
- The disc must have gasket characteristics fit for
the materials that the user wants to process: for
the choice of the tool and of the best speed of
rotation, the user must consult its supplier of
diamond discs.
- In order to limit sound emissions, it is strongly
advisable to use discs built with silenced core.
- A wrong tool fastening procedure may cause
serious dangers to the operator.

RISCHI ALL’AVVIAMENTO DELLA MACCHINA
Prima di iniziare il lavoro, il manovratore verifichi sempre
che:
- la macchina sia in condizioni di operare
correttamente
- i dispositivi di sicurezza siano inseriti e efficienti
- gli interventi di manutenzione periodica prevista
siano stati regolarmente eseguiti
- nessuno si trovi nel raggio d'azione della macchina
- le alimentazioni elettrica e idrica siano regolari
- il pavimento attorno e sotto alla macchina sia ben
pulito
- non siano presenti materiali infiammabili nelle
vicinanze della macchina
- durante la lavorazione automatica l’'operatore deve
sempre essere equipaggiato con dispositivi di
protezione individuale: guanti e occhiali (quando si
avvicina alla zona pericolosa), cuffia insonorizzante
o altro dispositivo acustico personale, tuta di lavoro
aderente e priva di appigli e guanti possono evitare
molti infortuni.
RISCHI DURANTE LA LAVORAZIONE
La macchina deve essere immediatamente bloccata se:
- si è osservato un movimento non prevedibile della
macchina
- si verifica e viene segnalata una condizione di
pericolo d'emergenza
- il prodotto finito presenta difetti
- vi sono problemi di funzionamento dei sistemi di
comando e dei vari motori
- il movimento verticale della testa non è regolare, ma
più rumoroso e rallentato
- si osservano problemi alla lubrificazione o al sistema
elettrico
- si rilevano altri difetti che disturbano il normale
funzionamento della macchina
Dopo il blocco della macchina o all'insorgenza di
condizioni anomale, chiamare il responsabile della
manutenzione e informare il responsabile della sicurezza.
Quando si eseguono misurazioni o aggiustamenti, come
precauzione aggiuntiva, schiacciare il fungo rosso di
emergenza.

RISKS CONCERNING THE STARTING OF THE MACHINE
Before starting to work, the operator must always
check that:
- the machine is in good working conditions
- the safety devices are inserted and efficient
- the interventions of periodical maintenance
have been carried out regularly
- there is no one in the machine's range of
action
- the power and water supply are regular
- the floor around and under the machine is
clean
- no inflammable material must be present near
the machine
- during the automatic working, the operator
must always be provided with personal
protection devices: gloves and goggles (when
entering the danger zone), soundproofing
headsets or other personal soundproofing
device, adherent working overalls without
holds and gloves can avoid many accidents.

When the machine is blocked or when abnormal
conditions occur, the person in charge of
maintenance must be called and the person in

The machine uses diamond discs that can be
normally found on the market to cut natural stony
material commonly known as marble and granite.
The discs must have a 50 mm diameter hole and a
diameter comprised between the minimum and
maximum values indicated on the rating plate of the
machine and in the title page: the standard values
are 400 and 625 mm respectively

La Tabella Macchina allegata alla fine del presente

consigliata in funzione del diametro di disco e delle

Si deve ottenere la corretta velocità scegliendo il

The attached Machine Table shows the blade speed
of rotation suggested depending on the blade's
diameter and of the material's characteristics.
You can obtain the correct speed by simply choosing
the blade diameter that corresponds to the surface
speed fit for the kind of material to be cut.
On the panel of the board the BLADE ROTATION
SPEED potentiometer allows setting the rotation
speed, whose instant value is shown on screen.

PROCEDURA DI AVVIO
- Prima di iniziare un ciclo di lavorazione accertarsi
! che i materiali e gli utensili impiegati siano
rispondenti a quelli previsti e correttamente
sistemati.
- E' vietato eseguire con la macchina operazioni
che superino le possibilità energetiche della
macchina stessa o che non siano noti.
- Le dimensioni massime delle lastre o dei masselli
caricabili sulla tavola della macchina non devono
eccedere le misure indicate al nei dati tecnici.
- Per garantire la stabilità ed evitare sollecitazioni
anomale alle strutture, il materiale deve essere
posizionato in modo che il suo baricentro sia il
più prossimo possibile al centro tavola.
- L’addetto che esegue sotto la propria
responsabilita’ le operazioni manuali di carico e
scarico deve indossare idonee protezioni (scarpe
antinfortunistiche, guanti, ecc.) e impedire che
altri sostino o transitino nelle zone di carico e
scarico.
- Prima di iniziare il lavoro, il manovratore verifichi
sempre che:
- la macchina sia in condizioni di operare
correttamente
- i dispositivi di sicurezza siano inseriti e
efficienti
- gli interventi di manutenzione periodica
prevista siano stati regolarmente eseguiti
- nessuno si trovi nel raggio d'azione della
macchina
- le alimentazioni elettrica e idrica siano
regolari
- il pavimento attorno e sotto alla macchina

- non siano presenti materiali infiammabili

- Before starting the work, the operator must
always control that:
- The machine can operate correctly
- The safety devices are on and
serviceable
- The ordinary maintenance was regularly
made
- Nobody is near the machine range of
action
- The electrical cables and water supply
lines are correct
- The floor around and under the machine
is clean
- No inflammable materials are near the
machine
- The machine has to be stopped if:
- You noticed an unforeseen movement of
the machine
- An emergency danger condition occurs

- There are working problems of the
control system, and engines

In caso di pericolo l’arresto immediato della macchina
si ottiene premendo uno dei 3 pulsanti rossi a fungo
di cui la macchina è dotata

In case of danger, the machine is immediately

Grease for bearings and bushings, lithium multipurpose type
with 180° drop point and penetration index 265/295, fit to be
used in difficult conditions characterised by stability, resistant
to high and low temperatures, corrosion proof and rustproof.
Oil for hydraulic equipment with corrosion proof, wear proof,
antifoaming, rustproof properties, air release and resistant to
oxidation
If one of the lubricants indicated in the table is not
available, your supplier will be able to indicate the
corresponding product available having the same
characteristics.
THE LAW REQUIRES THE TOXICOLOGICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF ALL
THE LUBRICANTS USED.

Il deflusso dell'acqua di refrigerazione del disco viene
attivato automaticamente quando il motore disco
viene avviato mediante un'elettrovalvola di
intercettazione posta nel punto di connessione
dell'impianto della macchina con la rete idrica.
Se l'elettrovalvola rimane sempre aperta anche a
disco fermo (diseccitata) oppure al contrario rimane
sempre chiusa a disco avviato (eccitata) la causa
probabile del malfunzionamento è un deposito di
fango all'interno del corpo in ottone dell'elettrovalvola
