1. CARATTERISTICHE GENERALI
MAXIMA 861 è un sistema automatico di
personalizzazione di carte plastiche in grado di
punzonare, codificare la banda magnetica ed
annerire i caratteri sia a rilievo (Tipper) che ad
incisione (Infiller).
MAXIMA 861 è stata studiata per coprire la fascia di
produzione medio alta. La velocità varia
indicativamente da 200 a 300 carte ora e dipende
dal numero di caratteri del testo da punzonare.
MAXIMA 861 lavora collegata ad un Computer (es.
PC IBM) che tramite protocollo XON -XOFF invia
dati di personalizzazione. Sono inoltre disponibili
come standard altri protocolli di collegamento che
rendono il sistema collegabile a numerosi pacchetti
applicativi esistenti.
1.1. Principio di Funzionamento
MAXIMA 861 Per realizzare una carta esegue un
ciclo sequenziale che si può dividere nelle seguenti
fasi:
1. CARICAMENTO - La carta viene presa e
posizionata sulla pinza del carrello.
2. CODIFICA MAGNETICA - La carta è codificata e
lettta in soli 2 passaggi secondo le specifiche
ISO 7811 in LO-CO(bassa coercitività) sulle 3
tracce in HI-CO (alta coercitività) solo sulla
traccia 2
3. PUNZONATURA - Può essere a rilievo e ad
incisione. Nel caso di punzonatura ad incisione
viene attivato l’infiller per l’annerimento dei
caratteri a freddo.
4. COLORITURA - Viene eseguita a caldo sui
caratteri in rilievo tramite dispositivo chiamato
Tipper.
5. SCARICO - La fase di scarico chiude il ciclo
operativo della carta. Se durante il ciclo operativo
si verifica una condizione di errore, è attivato lo
scarico negativo.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION
The MAXIMA 861 is a Plastic Card Embosser. The
layout of the cards is programmable thus permitting
the operator to create a product which reflects the
needs and tastes of the customer. This machine
can also code the magnetic stripe and colour the
embossed characters with the Tipper unit and the
indent characters with the Infiller unit .
The MAXIMA 861 is designed to cover the the
medium-high production range. The machine’s card
producing speed is approximately 200 - 300 cards
per hour . The factor which determines the speed is
the number of characters to be embossed or
indented on the card.
The MAXIMA 861 can work connected to a
Computer,
(eg: PC compatible ). The data is sent between
then two using the XON-XOFF protocol. The
MAXIMA 861 can however work with other
standard protocols available.
1.1. Operating Phases
MAXIMA 861 The machine’s production cycle can
be divided up into the following phases.
1. LOADING THE CARD: The card is picked up
and placed on the clamp.
2. THE MAGNETIC CODING: The card is coded
and read in a two pass cycle in accordance with
the ISO 7811 standards of LO-CO (low
coercivity) on 3 tracks and HI-CO (high
coercivity) only on track 2.
3. EMBOSSING: This can be done either by
embossing or indenting. During the indenting
the Infiller will be activated in order to inkthe
characters at room temperature.
4. TIPPING: The embossed characters are
coloured at a hot temperature by the Tipper
device
5. UNLOADING: The unloading is the last phase
of the card production cycle. If an error occurs
during the production cycle a discard mechanism
is enabled and the card will be will be unloaded
in the discard area.

 1.8. PRECAUZIONI D’USO E NORME
D’UTILIZZO
• La macchina deve operare in ambienti
chiusi, esenti da polvere ed eccessiva
umidità. La distanza da pareti, porte
d’accesso al locale, finestre, altre macchine
o posti di lavoro, dovrà risultare tale da
garantire tutti gli interventi di manutenzione
e riparazione.
• Non installare la macchina oggetto del
presente manuale in prossimità di macchine
operatrici che generino polveri, poichè le
suddette potrebbero essere essere aspirate
e danneggiare i dispositivi elettrici interni.
• La macchina è protetta da qualsiasi
intrusione da parte dell’operatore, da
apposite protezioni che non permettono
l’accesso alle parti meccaniche ed elettriche
interne. L’intervento su dette parti per
eseguire riparazioni o manutenzioni può
essere eseguita solo da personale
specializzato e autorizzato. La piccola
manutenzione può essere eseguita
dall’operatore senza pericolo di folgorazioni
o danni dovuti a dispositivi meccanici e
comunque deve essere effettuata
rigorosamente a macchina ferma e con
alimentazione disinserita.
• La macchina è costruita con materiali
autoestinguenti, quindi non c’è possibiltà di
incendio. Nel caso di cortocircuti i dispositivi
di protezione agiscono immediatamente
isolando l’alimentazione, e assicurano
assorbimenti indesiderati verso la linea
esterna di alimentazione.
• La copertura della macchina non è a tenuta
stagna quindi evitare di versare liquidi sulla
copertura. Sopratutto per evitare ossidazioni
che aumenterebbero l’usura delle parti
meccaniche.
• La macchina è provvista di etichette quali
segnalano eventuali zone di pericolo la
spiegazione è chiarita nella pagina
seguente.

1.8. SAFETY REGULATIONS AND
OPERATING PRECAUTIONS
• The machine should work in a closed
room protected from dust and excessive
humidity.
The machine should be positioned in such
a way that its distance from the walls,
doors, windows, other machines or
working positions garantees immediate
access in the case of urgency,
maintenance or repairs..
• Do not install this Machine in the
neighbourhood of other Operating
Machines which produce dust since dust
can deposit itself inside the machine and
cause damage to the internal electric
devices.
• The Machine is furnished with special
safety guards which protect the operator
from coming into contact with the
mechanical and electrical parts inside the
machine. Only those persons who are
specialised in repairs and maintenance
and who have been authorised should
have access to the above mentioned
parts.
Simple general maintenance can be safely
performed by the operator so long as the
machine has been stopped and the
electrical power supply has been
disconnected.
• The Machine has been made with fire
proof materials thus diminishing the risk of
general fire. Short circuit protection has
been implemented so that the power
supply is immediately isolated thus
avoiding unwanted current absorption
from the external power line.
• Do Not place Liquids on the machine
cover since it has not been water sealed.
It is particolarly important to avoid
oxidations which would add to the wear
and erosion of the mechanical parts.
• The machine is provided with warning
signs which indicate the Danger Areas. A
description of these signals is given in the
following page.

La macchina considerate dimensioni e peso viene

danneggiamento durante il trasporto.

• Aprire il sacco barriera (3). Rimuovere le quattro viti
(5) di ancoraggio delle piastre (4) al pallet (6)
utilizzando una chiave CH 13.
• Sollevare la macchina senza danneggiarla e rimuovere le
due viti di ancoraggio delle piastre sotto alla base
utilizzando chiavi CH 17 ( Pro Series / Maxima ) o CH 19
( Metal OLD / NEW ).

• Dopo aver rimosso le viti la macchina può essere
sollevata per posizionarla sul tavolo di lavoro, lo
spostamento deve essere effettuato da 2 persone.
• Aprire la busta dove si trovano i manuali e la chiave
per aprire il portello frontale.
• Vedere poi il paragrafo successivo per la verifica degli
accessori in dotazione.
• Conservare il materiale dell'imballo per eventuali usi
futuri oppure smaltirlo negli appositi contenitori per la

2 UNPACKING
The machine is delivered in a wooden packing case.
This is due to its dimensions and weight and avoids
the risk of dammage to the machine.
All displacements should be done by a forklift or

 3.2 COLLEGAMENTI ELETTRICI 3.2 ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS

L’installazione della Punzonatrice MAXIMA può
essere eseguita facilmente accedendo alle varie
prese per i collegamenti situate sul pannello
posteriore
Procedere come segue:
• Collegare il cavo seriale tra Computer e
Punzonatrice
• Collegare il cavo di alimentazione con spina PA 80 • Connect the power supply cable to the PA 80
ATTENZIONE Collegare solo ad impianti
provvisti di circuito di messa a terra conforme alle
regole Impiantistiche Nazionali.
ATTENZIONE Il collegamento del cavo seriale
deve sempre avvenire a macchina spenta.
The installation of the MAXIMA is easily done.
Examine the rear control panel of the cover,
( Ref fig 3 ) there are all the sockets for the various
connections.
Continue as follows:
• Connect the serial cable to the Computer and the
Embosser
socket.
WARNING: To avoid electric shock the power
card protective grounding conductor must be
connected to a ground circuit conforms to the
National Standard.
WARNING Remember to connect the serial
cable to the machine while it is switched off to avoid
damaging the circuits.

disabilita le sicurezze, quindi l’uso è riservato al solo
personale tecnico.

La MAXIMA 861 viene fornita con il cavo di
collegamento seriale lungo 2 metri. Se tale
lunghezza risulta insufficente occorre realizzare una
prolunga con lunghezza non superiore ai 15 metri
rispettando la corrispondenza dei collegamenti.
MAXIMA 861 is supplied with a 2 m serial cable. If
this length is insufficient an extension can be added.
The total length should not exceed 15 meters.

3.7. KEYBOARD DESCRIPTION
The following list describes the 6 function keys and
their actions.
SETUP .This key is used to access the
programming menu or other internal
functions of the machine. A Password
enables this command.
CARD TEST This key enables the
production of test cards with a pre
determined format. It is done without the aid
of the computer. Type in the number
between 0 and 12 which corrisponds to the
test card desired and then press ENTER to
produce the card.
The list below describes the test cards
available.
0 Embosses a series of all the characters present
on the drum.with the available fonts.
1 Embosses an ‘L’ in each angle of the card.
2 Embosses a VISA text with the 3 encoded tracks
and coloured with the Tipper.
3 Encodes the three tracks.
4 Encodes only track 2.
5 Embosses a card with all of the machine setup
values
6 Embosses a text CIM and runs the Tipper cycle.
7 Embosses a text CIM using the Indent Font
8 Embosses a VISA text and runs the Tipper cycle.
9 Runs a card Load/Unload cycle enabling the
solenoid of the CHIP group.

della MAXIMA viene sempre indicato un
messaggio relativo all’errore verificatosi.
FEED esegue un ciclo di scarico/carico carta.
Può essere utile per scaricare l’ultima carta a
lavorazione ultimata. In caso di errore di

alla volta. E’ necessario premere il pulsante di
START per attivare ogni movimento.

Tipper.
ABORT If this key is pressed the current
operating cycle will be halted and the card
will be unloaded.
DUP If this key is pressed during a
READY state and it is followed by ENTER
the machine will repeat the last processed
card
PAUSE If this key is pressed the current
operating cycle is blocked. Press START
to continue.
START Clears any error condition which
may have occurred during the current
operating cycle. A corrisponding error
message will be displayed on the LCD of
the MAXIMA.
FEED This runs a card Load/Unload
cycle. It can be usefull for unloading the
last card at the end of the work program.
This key permits the operator to repeat
the last card should there have been any
error during the production phase.
The keys PAUSE/START and FEED are found on
the front panel and the keyboard. They both activate
the same functions which are necessary for card
production. The keyboard is used only for the
machine setup or for diagnostics
EMB.MODE This key selects the
operational mode of the embossing cycle.
It is used for tests and there are 8 choices
based on the combinations of the
following 3 modes.
‰ CONTINUOUS: The embosser repeats
the last processed card continuously.
‰ WITHOUT CARD: The embosser runs
the operating cycle without controlling for
the presence of a card. This optionis
disabled if in the chosen test data has to
be sent to the card.
‰ PAUSE: The embosser executes each
operation in response to the user input

PROTOCOLLI DI COMUNICAZIONE- MENU
Protocols

Se il protocollo di comunicazione non corrisponde a
quello di default della Punzonatrice, è necessario
entrare nel setup e posizionarsi sul menu Protocols
per scegliere il protocollo e le caratterische di
interfaccia usate dal proprio Computer.
Di seguito si descrivono nelle varie parti le voci
relativi a detto SETUP. I valori dei codici ASCII dei
caratteri di controllo possono variare da 0 a 127.

 5. PRODUZIONE CARTE
Una volta ultimata l’installazione della Punzonatrice,
del Software applicativo e la connessione all’Host si
può iniziare la produzione delle carte procedendo
come segue:
• Inserire le carte (max. 200) nella zona di carico
(già regolata per cate plastiche a norme ISO
7810) posta sul lato destro della macchina. Se
occorre eseguire anche la codifica, assicurarsi
che la banda magnetica sia sul lato inferiore
della carta e rivolta verso l’alto come in fig. 9

• Lanciare il Software applicativo per iniziare la
produzione delle carte plastiche. Il ciclo termina
con lo scarico della carta sul lato sinistro della
Punzonatrice, come indicato in fig.10 (A), se non
si sono verificati errori . MAXIMA termina il
lavoro e si posiziona nello stato iniziale di
READY.
Se si sono verificati errori durante il ciclo MAXIMA
segnala sul display il codice di errore ed esegue lo
scarico in negativo della carta come indicato in fig.
10 (B).

5. CARD PRODUCTION
As soon as the Embosser, the Software and the
serial connection to the Host computer have been
sucessfully installed, Card production can be
started. Follow the instructions below to do this:
• Insert the cards (max 200) in the loader on the
right side of the machine. This has bedn
adjusted for plastic cards with the ISO 7810
standards. If it is necessary to run the coding
routine please assure that the magnetic ribbon is
on the bottom side of the card and that it is
facing upwards as in Fig 9.

• Run the Software Program to start the card
production. The production cycle finishes with the
unloading of the card on the left of the Embosser
as indicated in Fig 10 (A); if the cycle is error free
the Embosser returns to the initial READY state.
IF errors have occurred during the working cycle the
Embosser will indicate the error codes on the LCD
display and discard the faulty card as shown in Fig
10 (B).
Please refer to the chapter on ‘Error Messages and
Problem Solving’ for a description of the errors that
can arise.

pertanto all’interno possono essere montati 2
dispositivi per l’annerimento del carattere punzonato
: the embossed character.:
• INFILLER nel caso di punzonatura a incisione
(INFILL)
• TIPPER nel caso di punzonatura a rilievo
(EMBOSSING)
Nei paragrafi seguenti vengono spiegati si suddetti
dispositivi e come sostituire i nastri usati da essi.
7. INFILLER
7.1. COS’E’ L’INFILLER
L'infiller è il dispositivo che annerisce i caratteri
punzonati ad incisione (OCRB1, OCRA1,
MASTERCARD etc.).
Il dispositivo è composto da un nastro inchiostrato
che, interponendosi tra i 2 punzoni durante il ciclo di
punzonatura, colora la parte incisa del carattere.
L'infiller può essere in 3 diverse versioni:
Infiller Fisso Se la macchina è equipaggiata
di soli caratteri ad incisione.
Infiller Mobile Superiore Se la macchina è
equipaggiata di 2 serie di caratteri; una in rilievo ed
una ad incisione.
Si usa l'infiller mobile superiore con i caratteri incisi
sul fronte della carta come il font OCRB1.
Infiller Mobile Inferiore Se la macchina è
equipaggiata di 2 serie di caratteri; una in rilievo ed
una ad incisione.
Si usa l'infiller mobile inferiore con i caratteri incisi sul
retro della carta come per i font OCRA1,
MasterCard.
Il dispositivo infiller necessita della sostituzione del
nastro consumato dopo circa 63000 caratteri
punzonati (1500 carte punzonate con 42 caratteri)

6. INTERNAL DEVICES
MAXIMA can be supplied with different
configurations depending on the productive
demands of the client.The machine can be
assembled with two internal devices for the inking of
• INFlLLER: for the Indent cycle
• TIPPER: for the Embossing cycle.
The following paragraphs describe the devices and
explain how to substitute the ribbons for each one.
7.1. WHAT IS THE INFILLER ?
The infiller is the device which inks the indent
characters (OCRB1, OCRA1, MASTERCARD
etc.).
This device contains a coloured ribbon which is
placed between the punch and dye during the
Indent cycle and inks the Indent character.
There are 3 different versions of the Infiller:
The Fixed Infiller: If the machine is equipped with
Indent characters only.
The Mobile Top Infiller: If the machine is equipped
with 2 series of characters, one for embossing and
the other for Indenting.
The Mobile Top Infiller is used for Indent characters
on the Front of the card such as the font OCRB 1.
The Mobile Bottom Infiller: If the machine is
equipped with 2 series of characters, one for
embossing and the other for punching.
The Mobile Bottom Infiller: is used for Indent
characters on the Back of the card such as the font
OCRA1, Master Card.
It is necessary to change the used Infiller ribbon
approximately after 63000 punched fonts (1500
punched cards with 42 characters).

8.1. COS’E’ IL TIPPER
Il Tipper è il dispositivo per la coloritura dei caratteri
punzonati in rilievo.
Il Tipper è costituito da un tampone caldo (160°-
170° C) che, agendo con pressione su un nastro
inchiostrato interposto tra carta e tampone,
trasferisce l'inchiostro sul rilievo dei caratteri
punzonati.
L'impostazione della temperatura di lavoro viene
eseguita agendo sulla manopola graduata del
controllo di temperatura posta alla sinistra del
nastro.
All'accensione della macchina è necessario
aspettare almeno 5 minuti per consentire al Tipper
di raggiungere la temperatura di lavoro. Se viene
inviato un testo con comando di Tipper la macchina
visualizza il messaggio 'E-19 TIPPER NOT
READY-PLEASE WAIT' per indicare che il sistema
non è ancora pronto a colorare. Quando il Tipper
raggiunge la temperatura impostata la macchina
produce la carta senza alcun intervento da parte
dell'operatore.

TIPPER
8.1. WHAT IS THE TIPPER ?
The Tipper is a device which inks the embossed
characters.
The Tipper Unit has a Hot Silicon Blanket (160°-
170° C) which, when pressed on the inked ribbon
placed between the card and the Silicon Blanket,
transfers the ink onto the embossed characters.
The working temperature can be set by turning the
graded knob which is located on the left of the
ribbon.
On switching on the machine it is necessary to wait
at least 5 minutes so that the Tipper can heat up
and reach the working temperature. Any calls for
the Tipper before it is ready will generate an error
message: “E-19 TIPPER NOT READY-PLEASE
WAIT” to signal that the system is not ready to ink.
When the Tipper has reached the working
temperature it will produce the card without needing
any input from the operator.

8.2. Regolazione Consumo Nastro
Ruotando la manopola A (vedi fig.12) è possibile
regolare il consumo del nastro secondo le
necessità. Il numero rivolto verso l’alto indica il
numero di righe da colorare.
8.3. Regolazione Pressione
Agendo sul pomello B (vedi fig.12) è possibile
ridurre od aumentare la pressione del tampone per
ottenere la qualità di annerimento desiderata. Per
aumentare la pressione tirare il pomello verso
sinistra in modo da sbloccarlo poi spingere verso il
basso e rimetterlo in sede, vicecersa alzare il
pomello di uno scatto verso l’alto se si vuole
diminuire l’‘annerimento della carta.
8.4. Regolazione Temperatura
Il Tipper di MAXIMA per poter ben funzionare deve
avere una temperatura di 160° indicata dal punto
rosso sulla scala graduata. Se si usano nastri
speciali (oro, argento) o carte plastiche particolari e
sia necessario variare la regolazione, occorre
modificare la posizione della manopola C sulla
scala graduata, vedi fig.12

The following maintenance instructions should be
carefully noted in order to obtain the correct
functioning of the Tipper
8.2. Ribbon Wear Adjustment
It is possible to adjust the ribbon wear by turning the
knob A (Ref fig. 12) . The number facing upwards
indicates the number of rows to ink.
8.3. Pressure Adjustment
To obtain the desired character inking quality
increase or decrease the Silicon Blanket pressure
using the knob B (Ref fig.12). To increase the
pressure pull the knob towards the left so as to
unblock it, push the lever downwards and release
the knob so that the lever is now blocked. The
character-inking can be diminished by lifting the
lever up one hole.
8.4. Adjustment Temperature
The Tipper of the MAXIMA must have a
temperature of 160° by the red point shown on the
graded scale.
If special ribbons are used (gold, silver, ...) or
particular plastic cards and it is necessary to modify
the setting then it will be necessary to change the
position of the knob C on the graded scale.

 8.5. Sostituzione nastro Tipper
ATTENZIONE Il tampone del Tipper ha
una temperatura di lavoro elevata (160°-
170°C). E' necessario prestare la
massima attenzione durante la
procedura di sostituzione del nastro.

• Sollevare il coperchio di MAXIMA (la macchina
si blocca ma il Tipper rimane caldo).
• Sollevare la leva A per liberare il nastro.
• Aprire il disco di tenuta C e togliere la bobina
vuota lasciando in posizione il nastro vecchio
• Mettere la bobina nuova e incollare il nastro
nuovo al vecchio con nastro adesivo.
• Ruotare il fermo B in senso antiorario fino a che
nella parte posteriore non fuoriesce il nastro
nuovo.
• Rimuovere il fermo B (vedi fig.14) tirandolo verso
sinistra e togliere il nastro usato.
• Avvolgere sul apposito perno il nastro nuovo,
rinserire il fermo B
• Ruotare di un altro giro per mettere in tensione il
nastro e verificare che non ci siano pieghe.

8.5. Changing the Tipper Ribbon
WARNING : The Silicon Blanket has
a high working temperature (160°-
170°C). Great care should be taken
during the process of changing the
ribbon.
The procedure to change the Tipper Ribbon is
descibed below. Ref fig. 13 , 14 e 15.
• Lift up the front cover of the MAXIMA. The
machine will stop all movements but the Tipper
will remain hot.
• Lift the lever A to free the ribbon.
• Remove the holding disk C and then remove the
the empty spooler leaving the old ribbon in place.
• Now mount the new spooler and stick the new
ribbon to the old one with a adhesive tape.
• Rotate the retainer B in an anticlockwise
direction until the new ribbon appears.
• Remove the retainer B (Ref fig. 14) pulling it
towards the left and remove the used ribbon.
• Wind the new ribbon into the relative pin, reinsert
the retainer B.
• Rotate it half a turn to tighten the ribbon and
control that there are no folds.
• Lower the lever A.

9. MESSAGGI DI ERRORE E 9. ERROR MESSAGES AND

RISOLUZIONE GUASTI
Nel caso di malfunzionamento o di errore dell
operatore, la macchina visualizza sul monitor e sul
display la causa che ha provocato l’interruzione del
ciclo macchina.
La visualizzazione consiste di un codice di errore
seguito da un messaggio ( vedi Lista Errori ).
Consultare la tabella Risoluzione Errori per ottenere
informazioni utili alla risoluzione del problema.
PROBLEM SOLVING
In case of breakdown or operator error the machine
will show what caused the machine cycle interuption
on the display and on the monitor.
The error signal is shown by an error code followed
by the corrisponding message ( Ref Error List ).
Please consult the ‘Problem Solving’ table for more
information in order to resolve the problem.

10. MANUTENZIONE
MANUTENZIONE ORDINARIA DA PARTE
DELL’OPERATORE
L’operatore deve eseguire regolarmente la
manutenzione della Punzonatrice per assicurare il
buon funzionamento del sistema.
Per eventuali interventi manutentivi all’ interno della
macchina è necessario chiamare l’assistenza
tecnica.
Per eseguire una manutenzione corretta occorre
procedere come segue:
• Dopo 8 ore di lavoro della Punzonatrice dalla
prima installazione spegnere la macchina
,togliere il cavo di rete, sollevare il portello
frontale ed eseguire le istruzioni riportate ai
paragrafi successivi.
É VIETATO RIMUOVERE LA COPERTURA E LE
PROTEZIONI INTERNE DELLA PUNZONATRICE
10.1 Lubrificazione carrello e pinza
• Oliare il binario del Carrello pinza sopra e sotto
(A), vedi fig.16, muovere poi il carrello a mano
per distribuire uniformemente l’olio e controllare
il buon scorrimento del suddetto.
• Una volta all’anno oliare la guida della pinza a
destra e a sinistra (B) e muovere poi la pinza
avanti e indietro per assicurare la corretta
lubrificazione su tutta la superficie di contatto. Se
durante tale operazione si verificassero attriti e
non è possibile rimuoverli chiamare l’assistenza
tecnica +

10. MAINTENANCE
GENERAL MAINTENANCE BY THE OPERATOR
The operator should make a habit of doing general
maintenance on the Embosser so as to ensure a
correct and long lasting functioning of the system.
The maintenance should be done with the machine
switched off. The operations are simple but for
maintenance inside the machine it is necessary to
call the Technical Assistance. Thus it is absolutely
The routine maintenance is as follows:
• After the first 8 hours of Embossing work, switch
off the machine and remove the power supply
cable. Lift up the front cover and do as follows:

AND THE PROTECTIONS PRESENT INSIDE THE
EMBOSSER.
10.1 Oiling on trolley & clamp
• Oil the clamp’s trolley track top and bottom (A)
ref fig.16, moving the trolley by hand back and
forth to assure an even distribution of the oil and
to control the fluidity of the movement.
• One time per year oil the clamp guide (B) in the
same way as above moving the clamp by hand
and controlling for unhindered movement. In
case of friction or jamming which persists call the
Technical Assistance.+

 10.2. Lubrificazione Tipper
Il dispositivo di colorazione delle carte Punzonate
(Tipper ) oltre alla sostituzione del nastro necessita
di una piccola lubrificazione periodica, che consiste
nell’introdurre alcune gocce di olio nei 6 fori di
servizio (1),(2) e (3) posti nella parte superiore e
sui 2 lati , vedi fig. 17 e fig. 18

Ripetere queste operazioni ogni 20 giorni circa o
ogni 1500 carte prodotte
Ogni 6 mesi circa e bene fare un ingrassaggio delle
parti meccaniche interne, ciò però puo essere
effettuato solo da personale tecnico specializzato.
Una volta terminate le operazioni di manutenzione
ordinaria riaccendere la Punzonatrice e verificare
che aprendo il portello frontale la macchina blocchi
qualsiasi operazione se così non fosse chiamare il
servizio di assistenza poichè qualche dispositivo di
sicurezza potrebbe essersi danneggiato.

10.2. Oiling the Tipper
The embossed cards Inking device (Tipper) needs,
apart from the Ribbon change, to be oiled
periodically. This is done by oiling the 6 service
holes (1),(2) e (3) located on the upper face and
on the 2 sides. Ref fig 17 and 18.

Repeat this operation every 20 days or every 1500
produced cards.
Every 6 months the internal mechanical parts
should receive a general greasing. This can be
done however only by a specialised person.
When the general maintenance is finished switch
the embosser on and control that the front cover
blocks all operations. If this not the case call the
Technical Assistance because one or more safety
devices could be dammaged.
