Istruzioni:
1) Rimuovere le cappottature laterali inferiori destra e sinistra e ventrale motore.
2) Pulire accuratamente le zone da ispezionare, indicate in figura 1, rimuovendo eventuale
grasso o sporcizia.
3) Con l'ausilio di una lente d'ingrandimento (10x), controllare a vista per assenza di
crinature i castelli motore nelle zone interessate, ponendo particolare accuratezza in
prossimità delle saldature.
4) Se il controllo visivo lascia adito a qualche dubbio, sverniciare le zone interessate ed
eseguire un controllo più accurato mediante l'utilizzo di liquidi penetranti.
5) In presenza di cricche, riparare i castelli motore in accordo al punto 9, o sostituirli con altri
efficienti.
6) In assenza di cricche, riverniciare le zone interessate (se applicato il punto 4) con vernice
epossidica a specifica MIL-P-23377 o equivalente, prima, e a finire, poi, con vernice
grigio ferro RAL 7011 o equivalente.
7) Rimontare le cappottature motore.
8) Annotare l'avvenuta applicazione del presente Bollettino di Servizio sui libretti
dell'aeromobile.
9) Comunicare, in ogni caso, l'esito dell'ispezione e le ore di volo accumulate dai castelli
motore alla PARTENAVIA che provvederà, in caso di cricche, ad inviare un appropriato
schema di riparazione.

Instruction:
1) Remove the engine cowlings (left and right lower side and bottom).
2) Clean accurately the areas to be inspected, indicated in figure 1, removing eventual
grease or dirt.
3) Using magnifing glass (10x), check the engine mounts for absence of cracks in the
concerned areas, with particular care in proximity to the weldings.
4) In case of doubt, strip the concerned areas and proceed in the inspection with DYE-
CHECK method.
5) In presence of cracks, repair the engine mounts in according to the item 9, or replace it
with new engine mounts.
6) In absence of cracks, repaint the concerned areas (if applied the item 4) with epoxidic
paint (MIL-P-23377 or equivalent) and with iron gray finish paint (RAL 7011 or
equivalent).
7) Reinstall the engine cowlings.
8) Annotate the happened application of this Service Bulletin on the aircraft log books.
9) Communicate, in any case, the inspection result and the engine mount total flight hours
at PARTENAVIA which will arrange, in case of cracks, to send you a suitable repair
scheme.
