La descrizione di una persona
Strategy: Writing a biographical profile
An effective profile highlights the most defining characteristics of the person
in just a few sentences. If you know the person well, it is especially impor-
tant to include what makes the person interesting or unique. With this in
mind, write a brief paragraph (6–8 sentences) describing a friend. Use the
descriptions of Marcello and Anto.nio in Due compagni di stanza as models.
B. Next, write your description based on the information in your chart. Start
with the introductory sentence: Ho un buon amico/Ho una buona amica.
C. Make sure that you have spelled all the words correctly in your
completed description and double-check subject–verb agreement and
noun–adjective agreement. Consider illustrating your description
with a photo and sharing it with a classmate.
