If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, he leaves the ninety-nine and goes to the mountains to look for his lost sheep. And when he finds it, he is so glad that he puts it on his shoulders and carries it home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors and says, Lets celebrate! Ive found my lost sheep.
Se un uomo ha cento pecore e ne perde una, che cosa fa? Lascia le altre novantanove al sicuro per andare a cercare quella che si smarrita e la cerca finch non l'ha ritrovata. Quando la trova, se la mette sulle spalle pieno di gioia, e ritorna a casa sua. Poi chiama gli amici e i vicini e dice loro: 'Fate festa con me, perch ho ritrovato la mia pecora, quella che si era smarrita'.

Jesus is our shepherd. He always has hope for us, no matter how far weve strayed. So if you feel far from God, you need only open your heart to receive His love and forgiveness.

Jesus said, Anyone who hears and obeys My teachings is like a wise person who built a house on solid rock. Rain poured down, rivers flooded, and winds beat against that house. But it did not fall, because it was built on solid rock. However, anyone who hears my teachings and doesnt obey them is like a foolish person who built a house on sand. The rain poured down, the rivers flooded, and the winds blew and beat against that house. Finally, it fell with a crash.

'Al contrario, chi ascolta queste mie parole e non le mette in pratica sar simile a un uomo sciocco che ha costruito la sua casa sulla sabbia. venuta la pioggia, i fiumi sono straripati, i venti hanno soffiato con violenza contro quella casa, e la casa crollata. la sua rovina fu grande'.

You are the carpenter of your life. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Your attitudes and the choices you make today build your house for tomorrow. Build wisely!

Sei tu il carpentiere che costruisce la tua vita: ogni giorno pianti un chiodo, sistemi una tavola, erigi una parete. Latteggiamento che hai nei confronti della vita, le scelte che fai oggi sono quelle che determinano landamento della costruzione della tua casa di domani. Costruisci con avvedutezza!

Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

The kingdom of Heaven is like a King who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. As he was doing this, one servant was brought in who owed him a very large sum of money. However, the servant was not able to pay his debt. The king then ordered him to be sold, along with his wife and children and all he owned, in order to pay the debt. Perch il regno di Dio cos. The official got down on his knees and began begging, Have pity on me, and I will pay you every cent I owe! The king felt sorry for him and forgave the servants debt.

Allora il servitore si inginocchi davanti al re e si mise a pregarlo: 'Abbi pazienza con me e ti pagher tutto!' Il re ebbe piet di lui: cancell il suo debito e lo lasci andare.

This same servant went to a fellow servant who owed him a small amount of money, grabbed him by the throat and said, "Pay me what you owe me!"
The fellow servant fell to his knees and begged, "Be patient with me and I will pay you." But the first servant had the poor man thrown in jail until he paid his debt.

Appena uscito, quel servitore incontr un suo compagno che doveva pagargli una piccola somma di denaro. Lo prese per il collo e lo stringeva fino a soffocarlo mentre diceva: - Paga quel che mi devi! L'altro cadde ai suoi piedi e si mise a supplicarlo: Abbi pazienza con me e ti pagher. Ma costui non volle saperne, anzi lo fece mettere in prigione fino a quando non avesse pagato tutto il debito.

When some other servants found out what had happened, they told the king what the first servant did. The king called the first official back in and said, You evil servant! I had mercy on you and forgave your debt. Dont you think you should show pity to someone else, as I did to you? The king then ordered the servant to be thrown in jail until he could pay back everything he owed.

Gli altri servitori videro queste cose e rimasero molto dispiaciuti. Andarono dal re e gli raccontarono tutto quel che era accaduto. Allora il re chiam di nuovo quel servitore e gli disse: 'Servo crudele! Io ti ho perdonato quel debito enorme perch tu mi hai supplicato. Dovevi anche tu aver piet del tuo compagno, cos come io ho avuto piet di te'. Poi, pieno di collera, lo fece mettere in prigione fino a quando non avesse pagato tutto il debito'.

Be kind to one another, forgiving each other even as God for Christs sake has forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32

Siate invece benigni e misericordiosi gli uni verso gli altri, perdonandovi a vicenda, come anche Dio vi ha perdonato in Cristo. (Efesini 4:32)
