1. Did you apologise for arriving late at the meeting? I don’t know what’s up/wrong
with you OR I don’t know what’s the matter with you / I don’t know what’s got into
you. You always used to be on time.

2.I can’t wait to see OR I’m really looking forward to seeing my brother-in-law
again. I realise only now OR only now do I realise how much I miss chatting with/to
him.

3.Naturally the manager expects his employees to arrive at work on time OR

expects/demands that the employees get to work on time.
