Hey there! I’m Becky from
Clean Mama...
Thanks for checking out my little corner of the internet!
This little packet is my way of sitting down over coffee or
tea and walking you through the Clean Mama Routine.
I know you’re busy and overwhelmed. Think of me as a
friend that is super excited about that new thing and she
is explaining it to you. Your first response is “what?” But
as she takes the time to explain it, it makes sense and
sounds like something you might be interested in. After
all, cleaning is better with friends. Let’s chat!

xo, Becky

How to Speed Clean Your Kitchen

in Less than 15 Minutes

G AT H E R Y O U R T O O L S

Keep your favorite kitchen cleaning tools and cleaners in a caddy under the kitchen sink
so you can grab them and clean anytime. My must-have kitchen caddy tools? Kitchen
sink scrub, scrub brush, all-purpose cleaner, disinfecting cleaner, stainless steel cleaner,
microfiber cloths, bar mop towels, sponge, and dish soap.

SET A TIMER

Setting a timer is a great way to motivate to clean quickly. Eliminate any distractions, set
a timer for 15 minutes and see how much you can get done.

QUICK DECLUTTER

Start by collecting anything on the counters and kitchen table. Don’t take the time to put
these things away right now, but put them out of the kitchen for right now.

U N L O A D / L O A D T H E D I S H WA S H E R

Did you know that it only takes 3-4 minutes to unload a dishwasher and put the dishes
away? Don’t procrastinate on this one – just put the dishes away! If you have dishes on
the counter or sink, load them in the empty dishwasher.

CLEAN THE SINK

Give your sink a little scrub and get it ready for the next day – you’ll be amazed how this
simple task can propel your kitchen cleanliness.

W I P E S U R FA C E S

Spray down any hard surfaces (counters, kitchen table) and wipe clean with a cloth.
Wiping down counters and cleaning sinks is on my daily routine so this is fairly simple.

Q U I C K VA C U U M & F L O O R T O U C H - U P

If your floors need to be vacuumed, concentrate on high traffic areas, corners, and
visible dirt. If you need to do a quick mop, I like using a damp microfiber mop to do
a quick floor washing.

PUT OUT FRESH TOWELS

Don’t underestimate the clean look of fresh towels. Replace your kitchen towels with
clean towels as you’re making one final sweep.

How to Speed Clean Your House

in Less than 30 Minutes

G AT H E R Y O U R T O O L S

Keep your favorite cleaning tools and cleaners in a caddy so you can grab them and
clean anytime. My must-have caddy tools? Feather duster (faux or microfiber), microfiber
cloths, lint roller, all-purpose cleaner, disinfecting cleaner (bath), cleaning wipes, and
window / mirror cleaner.

SET A TIMER

If you only have 15 minutes, set the timer and see how much you can get done. I think
that the most realistic timeframe is 30 minutes.

S TA R T W I T H A G A R B A G E B A G & A L A U N D R Y B A S K E T

Start by collecting anything that can be tossed and throw it in the garbage bag. Items
that need to be relocated toss in the laundry basket. Once the room is clean you can
stash the laundry basket in a closet if you have someone dropping by. If not, take a
couple of minutes to return the items to their proper places.

DO A QUICK DUST

A feather duster is a great tool to quickly dust surfaces. Shake your duster out
frequently and move quickly to remove visible dust.

W I P E S U R FA C E S & M I R R O R

Spray down any hard surfaces (counters, toilet) and wipe clean with a microfiber cloth.
Wiping down counters and cleaning sinks is on my daily routine so this is fairly simple.
Disinfecting wipes also work great for quick cleaning. And a quick spray and swipe over
bathroom mirrors go a long way. Don’t miss this step!

Q U I C K VA C U U M , F L U F F P I L L O W S & S T R A I G H T E N T H R O W B L A N K E T S

If your floors need vacuumed, concentrate on high traffic areas, corners, and visible dirt.
A quick tidy and straightening up of pillows and throw blankets will give your room a
completed and clean appearance.

PUT OUT FRESH TOWELS

Don’t underestimate the clean look of fresh towels. Replace your kitchen and
bathroom towels with clean towels as you’re making one final sweep.
