The Troll Collectors Club
was started in 1997, which
means that this year we can
celebrate a modest 5th anni-
versary. Many members have
been with us from the very
beginning and can enjoy
having all the club editions.
We highly recommend that

In addition to 5 new members that were born last autumn we have the
pleasure to present 2 new relatives. One of them, we believe, has a special

ogni Troll Club è stato oggetto di lunghe discussioni. Prendendo atto di
questo, abbiamo deciso di trovare un’altra soluzione. Il risultato lo potete
vedere sul (o: sotto) il Troll Club. A nostro avviso, anche la nuova base
consente al troll di distinguersi dal resto della collezione, come quello
porto simile, perciò sono graditi i vostri commenti in proposito. Siamo
lieti di presentare 2 nuovi modelli per il 2001 (vedere a fondo pagina).
Contemporaneamente, 20 troll vecchi vanno fuori produzione (vedere la
pagina successiva).
Nuovi troll 2001 Come avevamo promesso nell’ultimo numero della
rivista, la famiglia dei troll è ancora cresciuta. Oltre ai 5 nuovi arrivi dello

Fünfjähriges Bestehen (1997 - 2001) Der Trollsammler-Club wurde
1997 gegründet, und das heißt, dass wir in diesem Jahr unser bescheidenes
fünfjähriges Bestehen feiern dürfen. Viele Mitglieder sind vom ganzen
Anfang an mit dabei gewesen, und die können sich darüber freuen, dass
sie im Besitz sämtlicher erschiener Club-Magazine sind. Es ist für diese
Mitglieder sehr zu empfehlen, dass sie sich mit den Informationen auf der
Seite 14 auseinandersetzen. Der hölzerne Sockel, worauf jeder Club-Troll
bis jetzt gestanden hat, hat zu manch einer Diskussion angeregt. Mit die-
sen Tatsachen vor Augen haben wir uns dafür entschieden, eine neue
Lösung zu suchen, und das Resultat sehen sie anhand Ihres Club-Trolls.
Wir sind der Auffassung, dass die Trolle in der Sammlung durch den
neuen Sockel nach wie vor herausgehoben werden, wie die früheren
Ausgaben. Wir möchten die künftigen Club-Trolle mit einem ähnlichen
Sockel versehen, und so würden wir für einen jeden Kommentar diesbezü-
glich dankbar sein. Es ist uns eine Freude, 2 neue Modelle für das Jahr
2001 vorzustellen (s.unten auf der Seite). Gleichzeitig werden 20 ältere
Trolle aus der Sammlung
ausscheiden (s. nächste Seite).
Neugeborene Trolle 2001 Wie im vorigen Magazin versprochen hat sich
die Trollfamilie weiterhin vermehrt. Zusätzlich zu den 5 neuen
Mitgliedern, die im vergangenen Herbst geboren wurden, können wir
jetzt 2 neue Familienmitglieder vorstellen. Eines dieser
Familienmitglieder hat, wie wir es sehen, eine Sonderaufgabe. Mehr darü-
ber auf der Seite 14.

Le 5ième anniversaire (1997 – 2001) Étant donné que Le Club des
Collectionneurs de Trolls fut créé en 1997, nous pouvons cette année
célébrer modestement notre 5ième anniversaire. Un bon nombre de
membres, qui ont fait partie de notre club dès sa création, ont aujourd’hui
toute la collection de trolls du club. Nous vous conseillons fortement de
lire l’information page 14. Un bon nombre de débats ont eu lieu au sujet
du socle en bois sur lequel tous les trolls du club sont posés. À cause de
cela, nous avons décidé de chercher une autre solution, et vous trouverez
le résultat sur (ou plutôt en dessous de) le nouveau troll du club. Tous les
troll sont uniques, nous trouvons que ce nouveau socle renforce cette dis-
tinction par rapport aux éditions précédentes. Nous souhaitons équiper
les trolls du club du futur d’une base du même genre, et nous recevons
avec plaisir vos commentaires. Nous avons le plaisir de vous présenter
deux nouveaux modèles de l’an 2001 (voir en bas de la page). 20 anciens
trolls sont en même temps retirés de la collection (voir page suivante).

à la retraite. Quelques-uns d’entre eux ont l’air un peu
triste. Nous essayons tant bien que mal de les réconfor-

Quando Elena e Paul si sono incontrati, l’interesse per i troll costi-
tuiva un punto in comune. Dopo il loro matrimonio, la collezione
di troll è salita a 17 elementi. Elena e Paul attendono sempre con
impazienza le festività natalizie, Capodanno e Santa Lucia nella

vorgestellt haben, hat uns eine Menge Material zugeschickt. Er
beteiligte sich an der sehr bekannten Fernsehshow "Buona
Domenica" am Sonntag Nachmittag, wo er seine Sammlung vor-
führte und dabei über Trolle berichtete. Im Juli 2000
veranstaltete er in seiner Heimatstadt Giulianova Alta eine
Ausstellung übernatürlicher Dinge, "Mostra sul fantastico". Die
Zielsetzung war, die Trolle gerade in dieser Region zu fördern. Für
das Jahr 2001 plant Walter, den größten Troll der Welt in
Giulianova auszustellen. Lektüre über Trolle ist die
Lieblingsbeschäftigung Walters, und unabhängig davon, wie die
Trolle vom jeweiligen Verfasser dargestellt werden, so betrachtet er
sie immer als gute Kumpels. Eines seiner besten Argumente ist,
dass die Trolle, im Gegensatz zu den Menschen, die Natur als
ihren einzigen Wohnort bewahren wollen.

Martine van den Spiegel ricevette 5 anni fa il suo primo troll

piacque molto il troll, ma è solo da poco che i troll Ny Form
sono disponibili anche in Belgio e in Olanda. Ora la sua collezi-

Joyce P.McCartney, del Missouri, Stati Uniti, ha 16 troll.
Ciascuno di essi è legato ad un ricordo speciale. Joyce collezio-
na troll da ormai da 15 anni e suo figlio le ha regalato un
mobiletto in porcellana per esporre la sua collezione. Sia Joyce
che i suoi troll vanno molto fieri di questo regalo. Lo scorso

sie auch dieses Jahr eine Troll-Weihnachtsfeier erleben wird.

Kerstin Weiss
from Rosna in Germany has sent us this picture of
a troll stand that she is very proud of. It was made by
her neighbour, a retired lumberman. The stand is
decorated with stones and moss something that surely
makes the trolls feel at home. Kerstin describes herself
as a passionate troll collector.
Troll collector No. 1175 from Italy
Robertino Daglio first met trolls in 1998 in a small shop in the historical
center of Genoa. He became attracted to the look of troll No. 240 and since
then his collection has grown to 36 pcs. Robertino’s trolls live in an old
closet, which he calls "The Troll House".
Troll collector No. 1964 from Italy
Massimiliano Torchi from Bologna has been adopting trolls for the last
six years. He treats them in a very special way-he speaks to them and asks for
advice. He has been planning a visit to the land of trolls, Norway, where he
hopes to find trolls missing in his collection.

Kerstin Weiss
di Rosna, Germania, ci ha mandato questa foto di un
espositore per troll di cui va molto fiera. È stato fatto
dal suo vicino di casa, un taglialegna in pensione.
L’espositore è decorato con pietre e muschio, cosa che
fa sentire i troll a casa propria. Kerstin si descrive come
un’appassionata collezionista di troll.
Collezionista di troll n° 1175 dall’Italia
Robertino Daglio ha conosciuto per la prima volta i
troll nel 1998, in un negozietto del centro storico di
Genova. Fu attratto dall’aspetto del troll n° 240 e da
allora la sua collezione è passata a 36 pezzi. Robertino
ha collocato i troll in un vecchio armadietto, da lui
denominato “La casa dei Troll”.

Massimiliano Torchi di Bologna adotta troll da sei anni.
Li tratta in modo molto speciale: parla con loro e chie-
de loro consigli. Vorrebbe visitare la terra dei troll, la
Norvegia, dove spera di trovare i troll che mancano alla
sua collezione.
Trollsammler Nr. 1279 aus Deutschland
Kerstin Weiß
aus Rosna in Deutschland hat uns dieses Bild eines
Trollsockels zugeschickt, worauf sie sehr stolz ist. Ihr
Nachbar, ein pensionierter Holzfäller, hat ihn für sie
verfertigt. Der Sockel ist mit Steinen und Moos dekori-
ert, was bei den Trollen sicherlich ein Gefühl des
Zuhauseseins auslöst. Kerstin beschreibt sich selber als
as eine leidenschaftliche Trollsammlerin.
Trollsammler Nr. 1175 aus Italien
Robertino Daglio traf sich 1998 mit Trollen in einem
kleinen Laden im historischen Zentrum von Genua. Er
ließ sich vom Aussehen des Trolles Nr. 240 faszinieren,
und seit der Zeit ist seine Sammlung auf 36 Stück
angestiegen. Die Trolle des Robertino wohnen in
einem alten Schrank, den er
"Das Haus der Trolle" nennt.
Trollsammler Nr. 1964 aus Italien
Massimiliano Torchi aus Bologna hat in den vergange-
nen sechs Jahren Trolle adoptiert. Er benimmt sich
ihnen gegenüber in einer recht speziellen Weise, indem
er zu ihnen spricht und sie um Ratschläge bittet. Seit
einiger Zeit hat er mit dem Gedanken an eine
Norwegenreise gespielt, denn dort hofft er an Trolle
heranzukommen, die er in seiner Sammlung vermisst.

Kerstin Weiss de Rosna en Allemagne nous a envoyé
cette photo d’un stand de trolls dont elle est très fière.
Il a été fait par son voisin, un bûcheron mis à la retrai-
te. Ce stand est décoré de pierres et de mousse permett-
rant sans doute aux trolls de se sentir chez eux. Kerstin
se décrit comme une collectionneuse passionnée.

Robertino Daglio a rencontré des trolls pour la premiè-
re fois en 1998 dans un petit magasin dans le centre
historique de Genoa. Il a été attiré par les traits du troll
nº 240, et depuis sa collection s’est agrandi et compte
maintenant 36 examplaires. Les trolls de Robertino
habitent un vieux placard nommé « la Maison des
Trolls ».

one mondiale, l’Expo 2000, che si è svolta ad
Hannover, in Germania. Seguiamo la nostra guida al

Mariano Coppola ist 12 Jahre alt und seit 1998
Clubmitglied. Im Bild sehen wir ihn und seinen neun
Jahre alten Bruder Manuel. Die 2 Jungen besitzen 18
Trolle und hoffen, dass sich die Sammlung schnell
vergrößern wird. Sie haben vor, Norwegen zu besuchen
und dabei mit vielen Trollen in Kontakt zu kommen.

Die Ny Form-Trolle sind wieder an einer
Weltaustellung dabei gewesen, diesmal an der Expo
2000 in Hannover, Deutschland. Unser Führer, der
Troll Nr. 218 begleitet uns zum norwegischen Pavillon,
wo er uns den riesigen tosenden Wasserfall oberhalb
des Einganges vorführt. Am anderen Bild stellt er uns

We have received so many beautiful

Miryan and Theo would like to
share their special "trollosophy"
with all the troll fans. Here are
some fragments from their letter:
«It all started in 1994 when we
visited Norway. A few trolls hid in
our bags. We only discovered them
when we were back home, and
could not send them back. The year
after good friends went to Norway
and we explicitly warned them for
the Ny Form trolls. But still they
could not avoid that two more
trolls came with them. We adopted
them. Now there were 5 of these
strange figures running through the
house, and worst: they were asking
for more friends. As good parents
do we started searching and found
trolls hiding in a farm, and we
could keep our trolls quiet with
some more brothers and sisters.
Nowadays there are 98 of these
creatures in our house. If people

Siamo rimasti impressionati dal numero di troll che Miryan e Theo
hanno collezionato a partire dal 1994. Abbiamo ricevuto così tante
belle foto dei loro troll che ci dispiace di aver così poco spazio a dis-
posizione nella nostra rivista. Oltre alla foto, Miryan e Theo vorreb-
bero condividere con tutti i fan dei troll la loro speciale “trollosofia”.
Ecco alcuni stralci della loro lettera: «Tutto ebbe inizio nel 1994
quando visitammo la Norvegia. Alcuni troll si nascosero nelle nostre
valige. Li scoprimmo solo al ritorno a casa, quando non potevamo
più mandarli indietro. L’anno seguente dei nostri amici si recarono in
Norvegia e li avvertimmo circa i troll Ny Form. Tuttavia non riusci-
rono ad evitare che altri due troll li seguissero. E adottammo anche
loro. A quel punto avevamo 5 di questi strani personaggi per casa e,
ancor peggio: volevano altri amici. Da bravi genitori abbiamo inizia-
to la ricerca e trovato dei troll nascosti in una fattoria, e abbiamo
così consolato i nostri troll con altri fratelli e sorelle. Oggi la nostra
casa ospita 98 di queste creature. Quando la gente ci chiede perché
collezioniamo troll, rispondiamo che non siamo noi che li cerchia-
mo. Sono loro che vengono da noi e prendono possesso della nostra
casa.»

Wir sind von der Anzahl der Trolle, die es unseren Freunden Miryan
und Theo seit 1994 gelungen ist zu sammeln, tief beeindruckt. Wir
haben so viele Bilder ihrer Trolle empfangen, dass wir es sehr
bedauern, einen so begrenzten Platz im Magazin zu haben.
Abgesehen von den Bildern möchten Miryan und Theo auch ihre
spezielle "Trollosophie" mit all den Trolllieb-habern teilen. Hier sind
einige Auszüge aus ihrem Brief: "Alles fing im Jahre 1994 an als wir
Norwegen besuchten. Einige wenige Trolle gerieten in unser
Reisegepäck, und wir haben sie erst wiederentdeckt als wir uns längst
zu Hause befunden haben und wir sie nicht mehr zurückschicken
konnten. Im Jahr danach fuhren gute Freunde nach Norwegen, und
wir baten Sie eindringlich, sich vor den Ny Form-Trollen zu hüten.
Aber trotz unserer Bemühungen konnten wir nicht verhindern, dass
zwei weitere Trolle mit ihnen kamen. Wir haben sie adoptiert. Nun
haben wir insgesamt fünf von diesen merkwürdigen Geschöpfen, die
im Haus herumlaufen, und, das Schlimmste von allem: sie bitten um
noch mehr Freunde. Wie gute Eltern es zu tun pflegen, machten wir
uns auf die Suche und fanden Trolle, die sich auf einem Hof ver-
steckten, und mit einigen zusätzlichen Brüdern und Schwestern
konnten wir unsere Trolle beruhigen. Zur Zeit sind 98 dieser
Geschöpfe in unserem Haus da. Wenn uns Leute fragen warum wir
Trolle sammeln, antworten wir, dass wir sie überhaupt nicht sam-
meln. Sie tauchen ganz einfach auf und beziehen unseren Platz und
nehmen unser Haus in Besitz."

Nous sommes bien impressionnés par le nombre de trolls que Miryan
et Theo ont réussi à collectionner depuis 1994. Nous avons reçu tant
de photos magnifiques que nous regrettons de ne pas avoir assez de
place dans le magazine pour vous les montrer. À part les photos,
Miryan et Theo partagent leur « trollosophie » très particulière avec
tous les fans de trolls. Voici quelques extraits de leur lettre : « Tout
commanca en 1994 lors de notre visite en Norvège. Quelques trolls
se sont cachés dans nos bagages. Nous ne les avons découverts
qu’après notre rentrée, et nous n’avons pas pu les renvoyer. L’année
suivante, quelques bons amis sont allés en Norvège, et nous les avons
mis en garde contre les trolls « Ny Form ». Mais tout de même, ils
n’ont pas pu les échapper, et deux nouveaux trolls sont rentrés avec
eux. Nous les avons adoptés. À ce moment là, il y avait cinq de ces
créatures en circulation dans la maison, et le pire, c’est qu’ils vou-
laient plus d’amis. Étant des bons parents, nous avons commencé la
recherche, et nous avons trouvé des trolls se cachant dans une ferme.
Ainsi, nous avons pu les calmer avec plus de sœurs et de frères.
Actuellement, il y en a 98 dans notre maison. Si les gens nous
demandent pourquoi nous faisons la collection des trolls, nous répon-
dons que nous ne le faisons pas. Ils viennent tout simplement chez nous
et occupent la maison. »

Wilfried sent us a story about his
first encounter with trolls. Because
of lack of space we are able to
present only fragments of this
charming history.
It all started on a nice summer eve-
ning when Wilfried was walking
with his dog, Bush in a forest.
Suddenly he heard lots of quiet voi-
ces whispering, singing and laug-
hing and saw smoke coming up
from behind a bush.
He managed to come closer and
suddenly he found himself in front
of a group of hundreds of little
trolls. Some of them were playing
funny music. There were old trolls
with long bears and grey hair,
women, children and troll dogs
running around the fireplace. On
top of the fire they were grilling
Wilfried with his trolls- maybe the picture was taken in the same place where they first met

Joop and Jacqueline are 29 and
30 years old and live in Malden.
They have 38 trolls and all the
club editions. Their trolls live in
2 caves in the living room. Now,
as the troll family is growing fast,
the caves are getting too small.
Therefore Joop and Jacqueline are
planning to build a new troll cave
in a bedroom. They are looking
for ideas.

frog. Wilfried wished very much to
take a picture of the party but he
was afraid to release the flash,
which would scare the trolls away.
He stood there a few minutes
holding his breath so as the trolls
could not hear him.
Suddenly his dog came, saw the
little strange fellows and began to
bark. Wilfried did not notice where
they hid but in seconds all of them
disappeared, also the fireplace and
the frog. Wilfried regrets that his
dog cannot talk. He could tell you
the same story then.
Since that day Wilfried began to
collect trolls and now he has 86 of
them. He says, that they are not
just puppets standing on the shel-
ves and collecting dust. Every
night, when Wilfried is deep asleep,
they apparently wake up and move
around the apartment as in the
morning Wilfried finds them in
another place than the evening
before.

Wilfried ci ha inviato una storia che racconta il suo primo incontro con i
troll. Data la mancanza di spazio, possiamo presentarvi solo qualche stral-
cio della sua storia affascinante. Tutto ebbe inizio in una bella sera
d’estate, mentre Wilfried passeggiava con il suo cane Bush in una foresta.
Improvvisamente udì molte voci sommesse che sussurravano, cantavano e
ridevano e vide del fumo innalzarsi dietro un cespuglio. Si avvicinò e
improvvisamente si trovò di fronte ad un gruppo di centinaia di piccoli
troll. Alcuni di essi stavano suonando una musica buffa. C’erano vecchi
troll con lunghe barbe e capelli grigi, donne, bambini e cani troll che cor-
revano attorno al fuoco. Sul fuoco stavano cuocendo qualcosa che somi-
gliava ad una piccola rana. Wilfried desiderava moltissimo scattare una
foto della festa, ma temeva che il flash avrebbe spaventato e fatto scap-
pare i troll. Rimase fermo per alcuni minuti trattenendo il respiro, per non
farsi sentire dai troll. Improvvisamente lo raggiunse il suo cane che, alla
vista delle strane creature iniziò ad abbaiare. Wilfried non vide dove si
nascosero, ma nel giro di pochi secondi tutti i troll erano scomparsi, e così
pure il fuoco e la rana. A Wilfried dispiace che il suo cane non possa par-
lare, per poter anche lui raccontare la storia. Da allora Wilfried iniziò a
collezionare troll ed ora ne ha 86. A suo dire, non si tratta solo di pupazzi
esposti su scaffali a raccogliere polvere. Ogni notte, mentre Wilfried
dorme, pare che si sveglino e girino per la casa, dato che al mattino
Wilfried li trova in un posto diverso da dove li aveva messi la sera prima.
3° vincitore del concorso, dall’Olanda - Joop e Jacqueline, soci n° 1197
Joop e Jacqueline hanno rispettivamente 29 e 30 anni e vivono a Malden.
Hanno 38 troll e tutte le edizioni del club. I loro troll vivono in 2 grotte
costruite in salotto. Ora, dato che la famiglia dei troll sta crescendo rapi-
damente, le grotte sono diventate troppo piccole. Per questo motivo Joop
e Jacqueline stanno pensando di costruire una nuova grotta per i troll in
camera da letto. E sono alla ricerca di nuove idee.

Wilfried Flathmann, Mitglied Nr. 1546
Wilfried hat uns einen Bericht über seine erste Begegnung mit Trollen
zugeschickt. Wegen Platzmangels können wir leider nur Auszüge aus die-
ser reizenden Geschichte veröffentlichen. Es fing alles an einem schönen
Sommerabend an als Wilfried mit seinem Hund Bush in einem Wald spa-
zieren ging. Plötzlich vernahm er eine Menge leise Stimmen die flüster-
ten, sangen und lachten, und hinter einem Gebüsch stieg Rauch empor.
Es gelang ihm näher zu kommen, und plötzlich fand er sich hunderten
von kleinen Trollen gegenübergestellt. Einige von ihnen spielten lustige
Musik. Alte Trolle mit langen Bärten und grauen Haaren waren da, wie
auch Frauen, Kinder und Trollhunde, die um die Feuerstelle herumliefen.
Auf dem Feuer wurde etwas gegrillt, was nach einem kleinen Frosch aus-
sah. Wilfried hegte sehr stark den Wunsch, eine Photoaufnahme von
ihnen zu machen, aber er scheute davor zurück, den Blitz auszulösen,
denn der würde wohl die Trolle wegscheuchen. Er stand einige Minuten
da und hielt den Atem an, so dass ihn die Trolle nicht hören konnten.
Plötzlich kam sein Hund zur Stelle, entdeckte die kleinen, merkwürdigen
Kumpels und fing zu bellen an. Wilfried erkannte nicht, wo sie sich ver-
steckten, aber nach wenigen Sekunden waren alle verschwunden, wie
auch die Feuerstelle und der Frosch. Wilfried findet es schade, dass der
Hund nicht reden kann, denn dann hätte er Ihnen die gleiche
Geschichte erzählen können. Seit dem Tag fing Wilfried an, Trolle zu
sammeln, und jetzt besitzt er 86 davon. Er sagt, dass sie etwas viel mehr
als auf dem Regal stehende, Staub ansammelnde Puppen sind. Jede Nacht
wenn sich Wilfried im tiefen Schlaf befindet, erwachen sie anscheinend
und bewegen sich in der Wohnung herum, denn am nächsten Morgen
findet er sie immer an einer anderen Stelle als am Abend zuvor.
Wettbewerbsgewinner Nr.3 aus Holland- Joop und Jacqueline, Mitglied Nr.1197
Joop und Jacqueline sind 29 bzw. 30 Jahre alt und leben in Malden. Sie
besitzen 38 Trolle und sämtliche Clubausgaben. Ihre Trolle leben in 2
Höhlen in dem Wohnzimmer. Da die Trollfamilie nun schnell heran-
wächst, fangen die Höhlen an, zu eng zu werden. Darum planen Joop und
Jacqueline den Bau einer neuen Trollhöhle im Schlafzimmer, und sie
suchen dafür im Moment gute Ideen.

Wilfried nous a envoyé une histoire sur sa première rencontre avec des
trolls. À cause de l’espace limité, nous n’auront la possibilité de vous pré-
senter que des fragments de cette histoire charmante. Tout commenca une
belle soirée d’été quand Wilfried se promena dans une forêt avec son
chien Bush. Tout d’un coup il a entendu beaucoup de basses voix, chu-
chotants, chantants et rigolants, et il a vu de la fumée monter derrière un
buisson. Il réussit à se rapprocher, et soudainement il se trouva devant des
centaines des petits trolls. Quelques-uns jouaient de la musique joyeuse. Il
y avait des vieux trolls aux barbes longues et aux cheveux gris, des trolls
femelles, des trolls enfants et des trolls chiens qui couraient autour du feu.
Sur le feu, ils grillaient quelque chose qui avait l’air d’être une petite gre-
nouille. Wilfried avait bien envie de prendre une photo de cette fête, mais
il avait peur que le flash les fasse partir de peur. Il resta là pendant quel-
ques minutes, retenant son souffle pour que les trolls ne l’entendent pas.
Tout d’un coup son chien vint. Il avait vu ces petits gamins étranges, et il

disparurent tous en quelques secondes, le feu et la grenouille aussi.
Wilfried regretta que son chien ne sait pas parler. Dans ce cas là, le chien
aurait pu vous raconter la même histoire. Dès ce jour-là Wilfried comme-
nça à collectionner des trolls, et maintenant il en a 86. Selon lui les trolls
ne sont pas uniquement des poupées se trouvant sur les étagères comme
collecteurs de poussière. Toutes les nuits, au moment où Wilfried dort pro-
fondément, les trolls se réveillent, ils se déplacent dans l’appartement, et
les matins Wilfried les trouvent dans un autre endroit que la veille au soir.
Le nº 3 du concours (Hollande). -Joop et Jacqueline, membres nº 1197
Joop et Jacqueline ont 29 et 30 ans, et habitent Malden. Ils possèdent 38
trolls, et toutes les éditions du club sont parmi eux. Leurs trolls habitent 2
cavernes dans la salle à manger, mais comme la famille de trolls se multi-
plie très vite, les cavernes seront bientôt trop petites. Joop et Jacqueline
envisagent donc de construire une autre caverne de trolls dans une cham-
bre à coucher. Ils cherchent des idées.

riscontrato una somiglianza notevole tra suo cognato Enrico
ed il troll 115. Nonostante la differenza di sesso, hanno
molto in comune: entrambi sorridono sempre e diffondono
intorno a sé gioia ed allegria. Patrizia ha 34 anni ed ha 12 troll.

Abbiamo la prova …
Alla fine abbiamo trovato la prova che anche coloro che
trattano con i troll per motivi commerciali diventano
sempre più somiglianti a queste creaturine. Di recente,
quando il nostro distributore messicano Paco è venuto a
trovarci presso i nostri uffici, la sua somiglianza con il troll
n° 122 ha colpito tutti noi. Non solo l’aspetto esteriore è
molto simile, ma Paco ed il troll 122 sono entrambi provetti
sciatori. Purtroppo non c’è ancora neve dalle nostre parti,
per cui non è stato possibile scattare una foto dei due men-
tre sciano. Neppure andare in montagna è stato di aiuto.
La foto è stata scattata a Trollhemen (notizie su
Trollheimen si trovano a pagina 12) e vedete che la neve
fresca è solo sulle cime delle montagne.

Laut Patrizia sei ihr Schwiegerbruder Enrico dem Troll Nr.
115 sehr ähnlich. Trotz der Geschlechtsunterschiede haben
sie vieles im Gemeinsam: beide lächeln die ganze Zeit und
verbreiten Freude und Spaß um sich. Patrizia ist 34 Jahre und
hat 12 Trolle.

Wir haben den Beweis gefunden...
Zum Schluss fanden wir dann den Beweis, dass auch Leute,
die mit Trollen auf geschäftsmäßiger Basis zu tun haben, die-
sen kleinen Geschöpfen immer ähnlicher werden. Neulich,
als unser mexikanischer Vertriebspartner Paco uns im Büro
besuchte, wurde uns allen klar, dass er eine unverkennbare
Ähnlichkeit mit dem Troll Nr.122 aufweist. Nicht nur von
der äußeren Erschienung her weist er deutliche Ähnlichkeiten
auf, sondern auch vom Umstand her, dass sowohl Paco wie
der Troll Nr. 122 sehr geschickte Skiläufer sind.
Unglücklicherweise lag in unserem geographischen Raum
kein Schnee, und es war deswegen nicht möglich, eine
Aufnahme von den beiden beim Skilaufen zu machen. Es
hatte auch keinen Sinn in die Berge zu fahren. Das Bild ist in
Trollheimen aufgenommen(über Trollheimen bitte auf der
Seite 12 lesen!), und wie Sie sehen können, findet sich neu-
gefallener Schnee nur noch auf den Bergspitzen und -rücken.

Nous avons trouvé la preuve …..
Finalement, nous avons trouvé la preuve que les personnes qui
ont une relation strictement professionnelle avec les trolls
aussi ressemblent à ces petites créatures de plus en plus.
Récemment, au moment où notre distributeur mexicain, Paco,
nous a rendu visite dans notre bureau, nous étions tous frappés
par sa ressemblance au troll numéro 122. Ce n’est pas unique-
ment par apparence qu’ils se ressemblent beaucoup, mais ils
sont tous les deux aussi de bons skieurs. Malheureusement,
nous n'avons pas encore de la neige dans cet endroit, donc
nous avons pas pu prendre de photo montrant les deux faisant
du ski. Celà ne valait pas la peine d’aller à la montagne non
plus. La photo est prise dans le Trollheim (voir page 12), et
vous ne pouvez voir de la neige fraîche que sur les sommets
des montagnes.

 Troll-guide to Norway - «Trollheimen»
Introduction
As "Jotunheimen", the word "Trollheimen" is inspired from
the folkloric beliefs that mountains originally were trolls that
were turned to rock at sunrise. If so, the original trolls must
have been huge, for Trollheimen has many high-altitude
mountains, scorned with deep valleys. Whereas
"Trollheimen" is invented by visitors, many mountains in the
area have troll names. Trollheimen is the northernmost part
of the central mountains in South-Norway.
This is where the trolls go to sleep.
Terrain
Trollheimen is an alpine mountain-area with deep valleys,
and summits reaching 1500-1800 meters. The wildest part of
it is the southeast, where the valley Innerdalen cuts through
high and wild peaks like Trolla (1850), Trollheimen's
highest. Other famous mountains in the area around
Innerdalen are Skarfjell and Innerdalstårnet. Further east,
the mountains are more relaxed. This central area of
Trollheimen, north of lake Gjevilvatnet is renowned for its
special flowers. Blåhø (1671) is the highest summit in the
area, and has a special, not well known feature. In the
glacier, just below the summit there is a cave in the glacier
that sometimes is open. Last year this happened was in 1996,
when many got to see Speilsalen (The mirror room) as it is
called. The terrain in Trollheimen gives, like many other
mountain areas in Norway, great opportunities for the hiker
and skier. Because of the varied terrain, anyone will find
a tour of their difficulty, from high-altitude summits,
to forested valleys.
Legal status
The legal status of Trollheimen is somewhat undefined.
There are still going on discussions whether it should be
a national-park or not.

Guida troll alla Norvegia -«Trollheimen»
Introduzione
Come “Jotunheimen”, la parola “Trollheimen” si ispira alle tradizioni folclo-
ristiche secondo cui in origine le montagne erano dei troll, trasformati in
pietre al levar del sole. Se è vero, i troll originali dovevano essere enormi,
perché Trollheimen ha un gran numero di montagne alte, attraversate da
profonde vallate. Mentre “Trollheimen” è stato inventato dai visitatori,
molte montagne della zona hanno nomi di troll. Trollheimen è la parte più a
nord delle montagne centrali del sud della Norvegia. Là i troll vanno a dor-
mire.
Topografia
Trollheimen è una zona alpina con profonde vallate e cime che raggiungono
i 1500-1800 metri. La parte più selvaggia è nel sud est, dove la valle
Innerdalen attraversa picchi elevati e selvaggi quali Trolla (1850), il più
elevato di Trollheimen. Altre montagne rinomate della zona intorno ad
Innerdalen sono Skarfjell e Innerdalstårnet. Verso est, le montagne sono
meno impervie. La zona centrale di Trollheimen, a nord del lago
Gjevilvatnet, è nota per i suoi fiori speciali. Blåhø (1671) è la cima più alta
della zona ed ha una caratteristica speciale non molto nota. Nel ghiacciaio,

Ähnlich wie bei "Jotunheimen" ist die etymologische Erklärung des Wortes
"Trollheimen" in dem Volksglauben zu suchen. Dieser ging nämlich davon
aus, dass die Berge ursprünglich Trolle gewesen sind, die beim
Sonnenaufgang in Gestein übergingen. Wenn dem so ist, müssen die
ursprünglichen Trolle riesenhaft groß gewesen sein, denn Trollheimen hat
viele hoch ragende Berge, die von tiefen Tälern durchgeschnitten sind. Der
Name "Trollheimen" wurde zwar von Wandergästen erfunden, aber auch
viele andere Berge weisen in dieser Gegend Trollnamen auf. Trollheimen ist
der nördlichste Teil des zentralen Gebirgsmassivs in Süd-Norwegen. Dies ist
der Ort, wo die Trolle schlafen gehen.
Das Gelände
Trollheimen ist ein Hochgebirgsgebiet mit tiefen Tälern und Bergspitzen, die
bis in eine Höhe von 1500-1800 Metern reichen. Der wildeste Teil ist der
Südosten, wo sich die Talschaft Innerdalen durch hohe und wilde
Bergspitzen wie die Trolla (1850 m), die höchste Bergspitze in Trollheimen,
schneidet. Andere berühmte Bergspitzen in der Gegend um Innerdalen sind
Skarfjell und Innerdalstårnet. Weiter östlich sind die Berge harmonischer.
Dieser zentrale Teil von Trollheimen, nördlich des Sees Gjevilvatnet, ist für
seine besondere Flora bekannt. Blåhø (1671) ist die höchste Spitze der
Gegend und weist eine besondere und nicht sehr bekannte Eigenschaft auf.
In dem Gletscher kurz unterhalb der Bergspitze ist eine Höhle, die ab und zu

trolls se couchent.
Le terrain
Le Trollheim est un massif montagneux alpestre aux profondes vallées et aux
sommets se remontant jusqu’à 1500-1800 mètres. La partie la plus sauvage de
ce massif est la partie sud-est où la vallée Innerdalen pénètre des sommets
sauvages et aux grandes altitudes comme Trolla (1850 m), le point culminant
du Trollheim. D’autres montagnes bien connues dans les alentours de la val-
lée d’Innerdalen sont Skarfjell et Innerdalstårnet. Plus vers l’est, les montag-
nes sont un peu plus douces. Cette région centrale du Trollheim, au nord du
lac Gjevilvatnet, est bien connue pour ses fleurs bien particulières. Le point
culminant de cette région est Blåhø (1671 m), qui a un trait très particulier
mais qui n’est pas très bien connu. Dans le glacier, juste en dessous du som-

Der rechtliche Status von Trollheimen ist gewissermaßen ungeklärt. Die
Diskussion, ob hier ein Nationalpark errichtet werden sollte oder nicht,
läuft.

Der 5. Jubiläumswettbewerb
Haben Sie sich darüber gewundert, warum einer der neuen Trolle des Jahres
2001 eine Blume unter dem Arm festhält? Haben Sie sich dessen
Gesichtszüge gemerkt, die so vieles ausdrücken, und sei es nun Scheue,
Neugier oder Eifer? Wie würden Sie sich fühlen, falls Sie der jüngste von
ihnen allen wären und man würde Sie zu den älteren und erfahreneren,
gleichgesinnten Geschöpfen mit einer Nachricht an sie schicken? Wir
betrachten diesen Troll als einen Sonderboten, der seinen Freunden, die den
5. Jahrestag des Trollsammler-Clubs zelebrieren, Gratulationen und eine
Blume übermittelt.
Wir möchten auch unsere Gratulationen und eine Blume an diejenigen
schicken, die es fertiggebracht haben, alle die fünf 5 bis jetzt erschienenen
Clubtrolle zu sammeln (1997-2001). Schicken Sie uns bitte an die untenste-

Le concours du 5ième anniversaire
Est-ce que vous vous êtes demandé pourquoi un des nouveaux trolls de l’an
2001 a une fleur sous son bras ? Avez-vous fait attention à son visage plein
d’expressions : timidité, curiosité, désir ? Comment est-ce que vous vous sen-
tiriez si vous étiez le plus jeune, et que vous étiez le messager de vos co-êtres
plus âgés et plus éprouvés ? Nous avons l’impression que ce troll est un mes-
sager portant des félicitations et une fleur à ses amis célébrants le 5ième
anniversaire du Club des collectionneurs des trolls. Nous souhaitons aussi
adresser nos félicitations et une fleur à ceux d’entre vous qui ont réussi de
collectionner tous les cinq trolls du club (1997-2001) qui ont été produits
