STEM
L o stelo autobloccante C1 è cementato
e retto. La sua sezione appiattita in antero-
posteriore presenta una profonda scanalatura
nel senso longitudinale, che assicura un'ottima
ritenzione dell'interfaccia stelo/cemento.
È dotato di un collo standard 12/14, atto
ad ospitare teste femorali di diametro variabile
(22,2 e 28 mm per l'utilizzo tipico da
endoprotesi) e realizzate in lega di acciaio o
cromo-cobalto.
Lo stelo è realizzato in lega di Titanio Ti6Al4V
Eli ASTM F-136 e in lega di acciaio AISI316L
ASTM F-138.
È disponibile in due finiture superficiali: con
pallinatura, in modo da garantire la massima
presa e il minimo stress al cemento, o lucidato,
che permette dei microassestamenti nel
cemento, senza danneggiare l'interfaccia
biologica cemento-osso.
Facile da inserire, offre ottime garanzie al
chirurgo di stabilità nel tempo, facendo riferimento alla
casistica mondiale dello stelo Müller.

finitura superficiale garantisce un'adesione

S elf-blokcing stem C1 is cemented and
straight. Its antero-posterior flattened
section has a deep groove in the longitudinal
direction ensuring optimum hold of the stem-
cement interface.
Its standard neck 12/14, accepts femoral
heads having variable diameter (22,2 mm and
28 mm typically used for endo-prosthesis) and
made in alloy steel or chrome-cobalt.
The stem is in titanium alloy Ti6Al4V Eli
ASTM F-136 and alloy steel AISI316L ASTM
F-138.
It is available in two surface finishings: shot
peened, ensuring cement maximum adhesion
and minimum stress, or polished, allowing
micro-displacements, without damaging the
biological interface cement-bone.
Easy to insert, it is highly reliable ensuring the
surgeon stability in time, based on Müller world

 CUPOLA BIARTICOLARE E INSERTO
BIARTICULAR CUP AND INSERT
L a cupola metallica C1, realizzata in lega
di acciaio AISI316L ASTM F-138, è
disponibile in 20 taglie, con diametro esterno
da 41 a 62 mm.
La sede interna ha dimensioni variabili in
funzione della taglia di inserto da accoppiare,
fornito nella stessa confezione della cupola
(vedi tabella codici).
L 'inserto C1 è realizzato in polietilene
UHMWPE, a basso coefficiente di attrito.
L'assemblaggio con la cupola acetabolare
è molto semplice e la tenuta è garantita dal
dentino ricavato nella zona distale.
Lo speciale profilo interno garantisce buona
tenuta alla trazione e, allo stesso tempo,
resistenza alla separazione delle componenti,
senza compromettere lo scorrimento con la
testa femorale. È disponibile in 6 taglie (5 per teste
diametro 28 mm, 1 per teste di 22,2 mm).
Le cupole con diametro da 41 a 44 sono fornite con
inserto per teste di 22,2, ma è disponibile anche un
inserto per teste di 28 (si ha maggiore articolazione).

M etal cup C1 , made in alloy steel
AISI316L ASTM F-138, is available in
20 sizes, with an external diameter range
41 - 62 mm.
The internal seat has variable sizes according
to the coupling insert size, provided in the
cup package (see code table).
I insert C1 is made in UHMWPE
polyethylene, having a low coefficient of
friction. The assembly with the acetabular
cups is quite easy and hold is ensured by
the distal section tooth.
The special internal profile ensures suitable
hold against pulling and at the same time
resistance to component separation, without
impairing sliding along with the femoral
head. It is available in 6 sizes (5 for 28 mm diameter-
heads, 1 for 22,2 mm diameter-heads).
41-44 mm diameter-cups are provided with insert for 22,2
mm diameter-heads; although, an insert for 28 mm
diameter-heads is also available (providing improved
joint).

PROSTHESIS ASSEMBLY AND INSERT REMOVAL
L 'assemblaggio della protesi
deve seguire queste fasi:
1. accoppiare la testina sul cono dello
stelo;
2. posizionare l'inserto sulla testina;
3. inserire la cupola sull'inserto,
assicurandosi dell'innesto del dentino
antiritenzione.
I n caso di rimozione dell'inserto,
occorre utilizzare l'apposita pinza a
cappio.
Stringere il bordo superiore dell'inserto,
agendo sul manico (A) e rimuovere poi
lentamente l'inserto dalla cupola.

W hen assembling prosthesis,
perform the following steps:
1. couple the head on the stem cone;

2. place the insert on the head;

sure the hold-tooth coupled.
I f you need to remove the insert,
use proper loop pliers.
By pressing the handle (A), pinch the insert
upper edge and slowly remove the insert from
the cup.

P reparare la parte femorale: sagomare il

canale femorale inserendo in progressione
le raspe, fino a creare una sede ideale per
ospitare lo stelo.
Inserire la testina sulla raspa e, sfruttando
anche la cupola di prova utilizzata in
precedenza, individuare la lunghezza della
testina da impiantare.

femoral channel by progressively inserting
rasps until creating an ideal seat to contain the
stem.
Insert the head on the rasp and, taking also
advantage of the trial cup previously used, find
out the proper head length to implant.
