rettiva 89/392/CEE, nota come Direttiva Macchine e dalle Norme Europee EN 60204-1,
calandrata verniciata o in acciaio inossidabile su richiesta.
proprio ambiente in modo soddisfacente senza introdurre disturbi elettromagnetici.
a persone e/o cose.
2. TRASPORTO E GIACENZA A MAGAZZINO
2

MΩ.
1. Smontare i componenti del moto-generatore preassemblati come in figura 1.

The alternators MC 90 serie work with voltage less than 50 V AC , also not dangerous.
We suggest however to avoid any contact or manumission of sockets or other devices on the
terminal box whether they are not carried out by qualified personnel. Therefore please avoid:
- improper use
- removal of protective covers and disconnection of protection devices
- inadequate or total absence of inspection and/or maintenance that can cause injury or prop-
erty damage.
2. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Upon arrival, carefully examine the alternator to check whether it has not been damaged during trans-
portation. Any visible damage should be immediately reported to the carrier.
If the alternator is not immediately commissioned, it should be stored in a sheltered, clean and dry
place, free of vibrations.

The assembly executed by the manufacturer is not useful and complete and any mounting part Tabella D - Table D
are not properly fixed, because the final mounting must be carried out by the costumer after the
engine connection as shown in par. 3.3.1. Some components are not fixed, instead simply leaned
to the engine, so please during transport do not shake or bump it.
After four years from supply, and with the alternator stored in good conditions, it is advisable to
replace the bearings and check that insulation is higher than 10 MΩ, otherwise proceed with drying at MENNEKED 32A-4h /< 50 V

Before proceeding with installation, check that the loads data are adequate to the alternator
data shown on the nameplate.
The alternator MC 90 serie, is a component which is mechanically connected with an engine by
mating on the shafts by the conic surfaces (engine shafts male shape and alternator female shape).
Therefore, it is responsibility of the installer to guarantee compliance with all dispositions and recom- PCE 32A 4h/24/42 V~

Council 89/392/EEC and following amendments.
3.2. Insulation resistance check Type 393
At first commissioning check that insulation resistance is not lower than 10 MΩ. To check the insula-
tion resistance of the winding is not less than 1 MΩ (the value refer to a room temperature of 25∞C and
a continuous current of 500V). To test it insert a Mega-Ohmmeter pin on the socket electric connec-
tion and the other Mega-Ohmmeter pin on an unpainted location of the motor like housing or shields.

parts and with housing parts that can be over 50∞C.
Provide for the possibility of inspection and maintenance during its operation in an aerated room, far
from heating sources. Make sure that near obstacles do not avert ventilation and that hot air coming
out is sucked again.
The foundation plate of alternator must be flat, strong in order to absorb vibrations and rigid enough to
maintain alignment. The alternator should always be well installed, above all if coupled directly with
the driver machine. In case of vibrations or damage of the bearings, check at once the alignment be-
