MACINAZIONE
Processo che consiste nel tagliare il materiale vegetale secco
(piante essiccate, radici, semi, frutta secca..) in particelle di
diversa granulometria.
La macinazione avviene attraverso l’utilizzo di molini con vaglio,
la cui scelta dipende dalle caratteristiche del materiale di
partenza e dall’impiego a cui il materiale macinato è destinato
(taglio tisana, aromi per alimenti, materia prima per estrazioni).  5 4
Il materiale vegetale una volta triturato deve essere sottoposto a

setacciatura per eliminare eventuali tracce di polvere e parti di
pianta a granulometria non omogenea.

GRINDING
The process of cutting off the dried plant material (dried plants, 7 3
roots, seeds, nuts ..) in particles of different grain size.The
grinding is done through the use of mills with sieve. The choice of
the sieve depends on the characteristics of the starting material
and the use to which the ground material is intended (cutting
dried herbs, flavorings for foods, raw material for extractions).
The plant material once triturated must be subjected to sieving
to remove any traces of dust and plant parts with a particle size
not homogeneous.
