E difficile descrivere il mio stato danimo quando un giorno di marzo del 2009 ho ricevuto lincarico dal Sindaco del comune di Barano dIschia di gestire il parco di Nitrodi. Passeggiando nel Parco abbandonatevi a ci che vi comunicano i vostri sensi. Vedrete le innumerevoli sfumature di verde, potrete sentire gli aromi del Mediterraneo pi vivo nellaria,

toccare le calde rocce vulcaniche che si sono formate nel cuore dellisola e qui fuoriescono. Fermatevi non mancherete di udire i suoni della natura Gustate le bevande del benessere Ecco! Quando posso, amo ricordare agli ospiti che questo luogo stato concepito per far rivivere ci che provavano gli antichi Romani, che gi duemila anni fa qui a Nitrodi trascorrevano le loro giornate

La Fonte delle Ninfe di Nitrodi

Il clima e lambiente naturale dellisola dIschia, le acque termali di cui ricca offrono la possibilit di unesperienza di benessere olistica, che rigenera, cio, corpo e spirito insieme. La Fonte delle Ninfe di Nitrodi racchiude in s concentrati in uno spazio di rara armonia e grande bellezza tutti questi elementi per cui il soggiorno nel Parco regala piacere allorganismo ed allo spirito e offre al tempo stesso la possibilit di giovarsi delle capacit terapeutiche scientificamente riconosciute e note da oltre due millenni delle acque termali che sgorgano direttamente dalla profondit della roccia. Le acque di Nitrodi sono famose fin dallet romana. In questo luogo, infatti, esisteva un piccolo santuario dedicato ad Apollo ed alle Ninfe chiamate Nitrodi appunto e che erano custodi della fonte. Gli ammalati venivano a bagnarsi e a bere lacqua per giovarsi delle sue eccezionali capacit terapeutiche. La straordinaria documentazione storica ed archeologica di ci costituita da una serie di lastre votive (oggi conservate al Museo Archeologico di Napoli), dedicate alle Ninfe ed al dio da medici e pazienti come segno di riconoscenza per la salute ritrovata.

La sorgente
Lacqua di Nitrodi classificata come acqua minerale ipotermale solfata alcalina e alcalina terrosa e le sue propriet terapeutiche sono state riconosciute dal ministero della Salute con il decreto 3509 del 9-10-2003. Attraverso il contatto, particolarmente efficace nelle manifestazioni ulcerose da varici, poich agisce sui processi nutrizionali dei tessuti con cui viene a contatto, pertanto lacqua di Nitrodi indicata nella terapia di piaghe, fistole, foruncoli, ustioni e ferite ulcerose. Si consiglia, dopo essersi bagnati, di lasciare asciugare naturalmente lacqua di Nitrodi sulla pelle, al calore del sole, potenziandone in tal modo lefficacia. La cura idropinica, vale a dire effettuata bevendo lacqua, ha, invece, azione diuretica, digestiva, disintossicante e gastrocalmante.

Il Percorso Idroaroma terapico

Il Parco della Fonte di Nitrodi organizzato con un percorso aromaterapico, che consente attraverso il contatto diretto con le pian-

te aromatiche ed officinali, di potenziare gli effetti delle acque. Si consiglia, quindi, dopo aver bevuto lacqua stessa ed aver fatto una doccia, di passeggiare nel Parco e sostare negli spazi idroaromaterapici. Qui, toccando con le mani ancora bagnate le piante di rosmarino, salvia, lavanda, timo,

mirto ecc. si stimola lintero organismo, il sistema cardiocircolatorio e respiratorio e le difese immunitarie, ma soprattutto si aiuta il recupero psicosomatico dei cicli circadiani, che nella nostra vita quotidiana si allontanano dai ritmi naturali. Dopo la doccia, si consiglia di sfiorare le piante con le mani dal basso verso lalto e quindi massaggiarsi il corpo (con il rosmarino, in particolare, per il suo effetto rinvigorente), facendo sempre attenzione a non danneggiare rami e foglie.

Infusi e Decotti
Il Parco della Fonte di Nitrodi unoasi di benessere che abbraccia tutto il corpo e la persona: insieme allacqua termale e al percorso idroaromaterapico, possibile anche gustare granite preparate con acqua di Nitrodi e tisane a base di erbe officinali scelte per le loro virt terapeutiche scientificamente accertate. Per preparare gli infusi, dolcificati esclusivamente con miele di Ischia, si utilizzano esclusivamente erbe raccolte nel Parco annesso alla Fonte delle Ninfe di Nitrodi alle prime luci dellalba, nel momento balsamico delle varie specie di piante prescelte. In tal modo, nellacqua di Nitrodi con cui si preparano gli infusi vengono veicolati gli oli essenziali e i principi attivi delle erbe fresche, che crescono in un suolo ricchissimo di sali minerali, retaggio dellantico fondale marino sollevato da movimenti geologici circa 55.000 anni fa.

T delle Ninfe per il Mattino. Granita di t con limone e menta Rinvigorente e rinfrescante, contribuisce a far ripartire il metabolismo lento del mattino. Infuso di Venere per il Primo Pomeriggio. Granita a base di una miscela di piante aromaterapiche del Parco Sono presenti mirto, rosmarino, salvia, menta. Riequilibrante e tonico, ha capacit balsamicche e depuranti.

Infuso di Apollo per il Tardo Pomeriggio. Granita di alloro e camomilla Rasserenante e riequilibrante, ha capacit antisettiche ed antinfiammatorie. Elisir di aloe. Bevanda a base di gel di aloe, menta e limone Antinfiammatorio, riequilibrante, vitaminizzante. Infuso di vite rossa. Bevanda a base di foglie di vite rossa Utile per riattivare la microcircolazione.

Le nostre Piante

LAVANDA Lavandola officinalis L. Durante le epidemie di peste, la gente riempiva le tasche degli abiti di infiorescenze di lavanda per il loro eccezionale potere antisettico. Antidepressivo, i fiori e le foglie contengono unessenza molto profumata che agisce da sedativo del sistema nervoso centrale e di quello respiratorio. Attenua le cefalee e i dolori in genere.

SALVIA Salvia officinalis L. Il nome salvia deriva dal latino salvus in quanto si riteneva la pianta un rimedio universale. Afrodisiaco, antidepressivo, antisettico, tonico.

TIMO Thymus vulgaris L. Gli antichi Greci lo usavano nella cura del corpo e lo bruciavano come incenso nei templi. Stimola lappetito e facilita la digestione, disinfetta e combatte i parassiti intestinali. Aumenta le difese immunitarie. Calma la tosse e le infezioni del sistema respiratorio.

ALLORO Laurus nobilis L. Dedicato ad Apollo simbolo di purificazione ed orna la fronte di poeti ed eroi. Antistress e riequilibrante del bioritmo, rasserenante. In infuso combatte le gastralgie e i problemi al sistema respiratorio grazie alle sue propriet calmanti ed antinfiammatorie.

MENTA Menta viridis L. Nellisola dIschia crescono ben 5 specie di menta, di cui una prende il nome dallisola appunto (Menta Inarimensis). E antispasmodica e stimolante nelle atonie intestinali.

MIRTO Mirtus communis L Sacro a Venere, simbolo di Purezza e Amore. Tonico e antisettico. Balsamico, depurativo e corroborante.

ROSMARINO Rosmarinus officinalis L. Dedicato ad Afrodite simbolo di Giovinezza e di Bellezza. Analgesico. Rivitalizzante e stimolante delle funzioni gastriche e biliari.

LIMONE Citrus limon L. Sacro presso gli Egizi, simbolo di Salute e Vitalit. Rigenerante, rinvigorente, tonico, ha notevoli capacit antisettiche.

Questi rilievi marmorei, di epoca romana, furono donati come ex voto alle Ninfe custodi della fonte di Nitrodi e al dio Apollo da medici e pazienti che frequentavano la fonte e si curavano con le sue acque. Le undici lastre e il piccolo altarino furono ritrovati nel 1757 ancora presso la fonte e sono oggi conservati al Museo Archeologico di Napoli.

It is difficult to describe how I felt in March 2009 on the day when the Mayor of Barano dIschia asked me to manage the Nitrodi Park As you walk in the Park abandon yourself and let your senses enjoy the experience. Your eyes will see numerous shades of green, your nose will smell the fragrances of the Mediterranean in the air, your hands will touch the hot volcanic rocks which have formed in the heart of the island. Stop for a little while listen to the sounds of nature Enjoy the drinks of wellbeing Enjoy this experience! I like to remind visitors that this park has been conceived to offer the pleasure enjoyed by the Ancient Romans two thousand years ago, who used to spend idle days here at Nitrodi... The climate and natural environment of ischia island, the Thermal waters can offer a possibility to have an unique Experience of wellbeing which can regenerate your body and soul together. The source of ninphs of nitrodi contains, concentrated in one space of unusual harmony and beauty, all these elements for which your staing in the park give a pleasure for a body and soul and the same time offer a possibility to be useful in the therapeutic ability scientificly recognized and well- known over two thousand years because of the thermal water which flows directly from the deepness of the rock. The water of nitrodi is famous from roman period. In this place existed a small sanctuary dedicated to apollo and to ninphs called nitrodi, they were caretakers of the source. ill people came here to flow through, drink water and take an advantage of their special therapeutic ability. an extraordinary historical and archaeological documentation formed with one series of votive plates ( nowadays are kept in archaeological museum of naples) dedicated to ninphs and god by medicals and patients as a sign of the gratitude for the health return.

These marble reliefs, which date back to Roman times, were donated as votive offerings to the Nymphs that guarded the spring of Nitrodi and to the Greek god Apollo by doctors and patients who went to the spring and were healed by its water. The eleven slabs and the small altar were found in 1757 near the spring; today they are kept in the Archaeological Museum in Naples.

An dieser Sttte lag tatschlich ein kleines Heiligtum, das dem Gott Apoll und den Nymphen namens Nitrodi, den Wrterinnen der Quelle, gewidmet war. Kranke Menschen kamen hierher, um von seinen hervorragenden Heilwirkungen zu profitieren: um darin zu baden und um das Wasser zu trinken. Eine auerordentliche historische und archologische Dokumentation darber besteht aus einer Reihe von Votivplatten (heute im Archologischen Museum in Neapel aufbewahrt), die den Nymphen und dem Gott von rzten und Patienten als Zeichen der Dankbarkeit fr die wiedergewonnene Gesundheit gewidmet wurden.

Die Quelle

Das Thermalwasser von Nitrodi wurde als hypothermales, alkali-schwefelhaltiges, und alkali-erdhaltiges Mineralwasser eingestuft und seine Heileigenschaften wurden vom italienischen Gesundheitsministerium kraft Dekrets Nr. 3509 vom 09.10.2003 anerkannt. Der Kontakt mit dem Wasser ist besonders wirkungsvoll zur Behandlung von von Krampfadern verursachten Geschwren, denn es wirkt auf die Nhrprozesse der Gewebe, mit denen es in Berhrung kommt; dementsprechend ist das Wasser von Nitrodi fr die Behandlung von Wunden, Fisteln, Furunkeln, Brandwunden und ulzersen Wunden geeignet. Es wird empfohlen, nach der Dusche, das Wasser von Nitrodi auf der Haut natrlich in der Sonne trocknen zu lassen: Damit wird die Wirksamkeit erhht. Die Trink-Kur hingegen wirkt harntreibend, verdauungsfrdernd, entschlackend und beruhigend fr Magen und Darm.

Der Hydro-Aromatherapeutische Pfad

Der Parcours im Park der Quelle Fonte di Nitrodi wurde ber einen sog. hydro-aromatherapeutischen Pfad eingerichtet, der durch die direkte Berhrung mit Gewrz- und Heilkrutern die positive Wirkung des Wassers steigert. Es wird daher empfohlen, nachdem Sie davon getrunken oder damit geduscht haben, durch den Park zu schlendern und in den hydro-aromatherapeutischen Bereichen zu verweilen. Hier berhren Sie mit den noch nassen Hnden die Rosmarin-, Salbei-, Thymian- und Myrtenpflanzen, denn somit wird das gesamte Herz-Kreislaufund Immunsystem angeregt, vor allem aber ein Beitrag zur psychosomatischen Wiedergewinnung der sog. Circadianischen Rhythmik (innere Rhythmen

des Organismus, die eine Periodenlnge von ca. 24 Stunden haben) geleistet, die sich in der Hektik unseres tglichen Lebens immer mehr von den natrlichen Rhythmen entfernen. Nach der Dusche wird empfohlen, die Pflanzen von unten nach oben zu streifen und sich dann den Krper damit zu massieren (insbesondere mit dem Rosmarin aufgrund seiner krftigenden Wirkung); beachten Sie dabei bitte immer, Zweigen und Blttern keinen Schaden zuzufgen.

KRUTERTEES UND AUFGSSE

Der Park der Quelle Fonte di Nitrodi ist eine Wellness-Oase, die im Zeichen des Ganzheitsansatzes den Krper und den Menschen umschliet. Dementsprechend knnen Sie hier, neben dem Thermalwasser und dem hydro-aromatherapeutischen Pfad, auch kstliche, mit dem Nitrodi-Wasser zubereitete Granite (feingestoenes Wassereis) und Aufgsse genieen. Dabei handelt es sich um Getrnke auf Basis von Heilkrutern, die fr ihre wissenschaftlich bewiesenen therapeutischen Tugenden ausgewhlt wurden. Fr die Zubereitung der ausschlielich mit Honig aus Ischia gesten Getrnke werden nur Kruter verwendet, die bei Morgengrauen die sog. Balsamzeit der verschiedenen ausgewhlten Kruterarten - im Park der Quelle Fonte delle Ninfe di Nitrodi geerntet werden. Somit werden die therischen le und die Wirkstoffe der frischen Kruter in das Wasser von Nitrodi bertragen, mit dem die Getrnke zubereitet werden. In diesem Fall erweisen sich die Kruter umso wirksamer, denn sie wachsen auf einem an Mineralsalzen sehr reichen Boden: Erbe des frheren, vor etwa 55.000 Jahren von geologischen Bewegungen erhobenen Meeresbodens.

Nymphentee (T delle Ninfe) am Vormittag. Tee-Granita mit Zitrone und Minze Krftigend und erfrischend; er bringt den vormittags gedrosselten Stoffwechsel wieder auf Touren. Venus-Aufguss (Infuso di Venere) am frhen Nachmittag. Krutermix-Granita mit aromatherapeutischen Arten von im Park ansssigen Panzen Mit Myrte, Rosmarin, Salbei, Minze. Ausgleichend und krftigend; er wirkt entzndungshemmend und entschlackend.

Apoll-Aufguss (Infuso di Apollo) fr den spten Nachmittag. Loorbeer- und Kamillen-Granita Beruhigend und ausgleichend; er wirkt antiseptisch und entzndungshemmend. Aloe-Elixier (Elisir di Aloe) Getrnk auf Basis von Aloe-Gel, Minze und Zitrone Entzndungshemmend, ausgleichend, vitaminzufhrend. Weinrebenaufguss (Infuso di vite rossa) Getrnk auf Basis von Weinrebenblttern Vorbeugend gegen Funktionsstrungen der Mikrozirkulation.

LAVENDEL Lavandola officinalis l. Aufgrund der hervorragenden antiseptischen Wirkung stopften sich die Leute whrend der Pestepidemien die Kleidertaschen mit Lavendelblten voll. Er wirkt antidepressiv; Blumen und Bltter beinhalten eine intensiv duftende Essenz, die als Beruhigungsmittel des Zentralnerven- und des Atemsystems dient. Er wirkt lindernd bei Kopf- und anderen allgemeinen Schmerzen.

SALBEI Salvia officinalis l. Der Name Salbei wurde aus dem Lateinischen salvus abgeleitet, denn man glaubte, die Pflanze sei ein universelles Heilmittel. Sie wirkt aphrodisisch, antidepressiv, antiseptisch und krftigend.

THYMIAN Thymus vulgaris L. In der Antike wurde er von den Griechen fr die Pflege des Krpers benutzt und als Weihrauch in den Tempeln verbrannt. Er wirkt appetitund verdauungsfrdernd, keimabwehrend und -ttend gegen die Darmparasiten. Er strkt die Immunkrfte. Bewhrtes Beruhigungsmittel bei Husten und Entzndungen der Atemwege.

LORBEER Laurus nobilis L. Er wurde dem Gott Apoll geweiht und gilt als Symbol von Purifikation. Er bekrnzt Dichter und Helden. Natrliches Antistressund Beruhigungsmittel; er gleicht den Biorhythmus wieder aus. Dank seiner lindernden und entzndungshemmenden Eigenschaften als Aufguss bei Magenschmerzen und bei Problemen der Atemwege wirksam.

GRNE MINZE Menta viridis L. Auf der Insel Ischia gedeihen gut fnf Arten von Minze, von denen eine ihren Namen eben aus einem frheren Inselnamen, Inarime, ableitet, nmlich die sog. Menta Inarimensis. Sie wirkt krampflsend und frdernd bei Funktionsstrungen und Erschlaffung der Darmmuskulatur.

MYRTE Mirtus communis L Der Venus geweiht, gilt sie als Symbol von Reinheit und Liebe. Krftigend und antiseptisch. Schmerzlindernd, entschlackend und strkend.

ROSMARIN Rosmarinus officinalis L. Der Aphrodite geweiht, gilt er als Symbol von Jugend und Schnheit. Schmerzstillend. Revitalisierend, er frdert die Funktionen von Magen und Galle.

ZITRONE Citrus limon L. Bei den gyptern galt sie als heilig; sie ist das Symbol von Gesundheit und Lebenskraft. Regenerierend, anregend und krftigend; sie hat eine hervorragende antiseptische Wirkung.

Diese marmornen Reliefs rmischer Epoche wurden den Nymphen, den Wrterinnen der Nitrodi-Quelle, und dem Gott Apoll als Votivgaben von rzten und Patienten dargebracht, die die Quelle besuchten und in ihrem Gewsser Genesung suchten. Die elf Platten und ein kleiner Altar wurden 1757 bei der Quelle aufgefunden und sind heute im Archologischen Museum in Neapel aufbewahrt.
