Docetismo
Si riferisce alla convinzione che l'umanità e le sofferenze di Gesù
Cristo fossero più apparenti che reali. Secondo i docetisti, in Gesù
Cristo non potevano essere simultaneamente presente sia il Bene
che il Male, rappresentato dalla carne.
Gnosticismo
Lo gnosticismo è la convinzione che gli esseri umani contengano dentro di loro
una porzione di Dio (il bene supremo o una scintilla divina), caduto dal mondo
immateriale nei corpi degli uomini. Tutta la materia fisica è soggetta a
decadimento, putrefazione e morte. I corpi e il mondo materiale, creati da un
essere inferiore, sono quindi malvagi. Intrappolate nel mondo materiale, ma senza
conoscerlo, le parti di Dio hanno bisogno della conoscenza (gnosi) per
comprendere la loro vera condizione. Quella conoscenza deve provenire
dall'esterno del mondo materiale e l'agente che la porta è il salvatore o redentore.
Monofismo
Il monofisismo è un'eresia cristologica del V secolo, sostenuta dal monaco Eutiche: questi
affermava l'esistenza in Cristo della sola natura divina.

Il termine deriva dal greco µονος (monos, "solo, unico") e ϕύσις (phýsis, "natura"). Tale dottrina infatti
riconosceva a Cristo la sola divinità e ne cancellava l'umanità. Ciò è stato rigettato dalla Chiesa:
essa ha sempre insegnato che in Cristo esistono due nature, quella divina e quella umana.
Montanismo
La storia
Il nome deriva da quello del suo
fondatore Montano, forse un ex
sacerdote della dea Cibele, che
sosteneva di parlare in nome dello
Spirito Santo e di avere visioni
profetiche su vari ambiti della fede,
con prevalenza sul ritorno di Cristo.
Arianesimo
Ario riteneva che Gesù fosse creato da Dio come il primo atto
della creazione e che Egli fosse il coronamento di tutta la
creazione. L’Arianesimo, dunque, è la teoria che Gesù era un
essere creato con attributi divini, ma non era Dio. L’Arianesimo
fraintende i riferimenti a Gesù, che si sente stanco e che non sa
la data del suo ritorno.

Certamente è difficile capire come sia possibile che Dio sia


stanco e/o che non sappia qualcosa, ma limitare Gesù, solo in
base a queste cose per ritenere che sia un essere creato,non è
sufficiente.
Nestorianesimo
La dottrina prende nome da Nestorio, patriarca di Costantinopoli
(ca. 381-451). "Afferma la totale separazione delle due nature del
Cristo, quella divina e quella umana", negandone l'unione
ipostatica. Afferma pure che Maria ha generato l'uomo Gesù, e
non Dio, per cui rifiuta a Maria il titolo di «Madre di Dio»
(Theotókos), riconoscendola solo come "Madre di Cristo"
(Christotókos), e afferma che colui che nacque da Maria era solo
un uomo in cui Dio poi discese come discese nei profeti.
