BENVENUTI
Il carattere in neretto è utilizzato per evidenziare informazioni, istruzioni particolarmente importanti o speciali
indicazioni operative.

1. INSTALLAZIONE E REGISTRAZIONE DEL SOFTWARE
Il software installato può gestire fino a tre macchine; per incrementare il numero di macchine gestite, bisogna
acquistare le licenze aggiuntive.
Mentre le prime tre non sono divisibili, le licenze successive, sono singole.
Per vedere il numero di macchine collegabili fare riferimento al punto 2.10 “LICENZA” di questo manuale.

1.3. REGISTRAZIONE DEL SOFTWARE
Al primo avvio del software RunnerConnect, richiede di essere attivato per 3 licenze (cioè numero di macchine
collegabili a quella licenza);
Per attivare il software, mandare una mail con la chiave a 32 cifre alla Runner S.r.l. all’indirizzo
runner@runnerfitness.it indicando i dati del richiedente.
A questo punto attendere la mail inviata da Runner S.r.l., contenente la chiave di attivazione a
24 cifre da inserire.

2. CONFIGURAZIONI SOFTWARE
2.1. CONFIGURAZIONI
Premendo, nella videata principale, il pulsante “chiave inglese”, si avrà accesso alle configurazioni del software.
Per accedere, si deve immettere una password numerica (1234) che poi si può modificare o togliere.
LINGUA
Si possono tradurre i testi in cinque lingue:
FRANCESE, TEDESCO, POLACCO, ITALIANO, SPAGNOLO e
INGLESE
PASSWORD
È possibile impostare o modificare la password di accesso al
menù impostazioni.

È possibile impostare un limite massimo di sforzo (velocità o
watt).
RICERCA AUTOMATICA MACCHINE
Con questo flag attivo, il software all’avvio, automaticamente,
ricercherà le macchine collegate e riconoscerà i vari settaggi.
BORG
È possibile impostare o modificare il valore del Borg massimo
e minimo.
SUONO ALLO STEP
È possibile impostare un suono con il quale il software avvisa
all’incremento dello svolgimento di un esercizio/test
programmato.
Mettendo la spunta sulle varie voci (Tutti, Attivi e Non Attivi) si possono visualizzare i pazienti attivi, quelli non
più attivi o visualizzare tutti i pazienti.
Nella schermata del paziente, è possibile impostare (oltre ai dati anagrafici del paziente) un test standard per
quel paziente.

È inoltre possibile impostare su quale macchina il paziente dovrà sempre svolgere il test.

2.3. CREAZIONE / MODIFICA DI GRUPPI DI PAZIENTI
Questa funzione permette di raggruppare più pazienti in un gruppo, dando modo così al dottore di selezionare
il gruppo e caricare in automatico tutti i pazienti sulle macchine automaticamente.
Se si preme sul tasto Aggiungi si potranno selezionare i pazienti che dovranno fare parte del gruppo che si sta
creando.
Mettendo la spunta sulle varie voci (Tutti, Attivi e Non Attivi) si possono visualizzare i pazienti attivi, quelli non
più attivi o visualizzare tutti i pazienti.

2.4. CREAZIONE / MODIFICA DI PROTOCOLLI
Premendo sul pulsante Protocolli, si accede alla lista protocolli esistenti.
Se si vuole filtrare e vedere solo i protocolli per il cicloergometro o il tappeto basta aprire il menu a tendina e
selezionare il tipo di macchina.
Il protocollo visualizzato è interattivo infatti modificando i valori all’interno delle caselline (tempo, velocità e
carico), si modifica anche il protocollo sopra visualizzato.

2.5. CONNESSIONI
Le macchine collegate attraverso il cavo RS232, dedicato, al software RunnerConnect, da questo menù si
possono connettere manualmente.
Per utilizzare questa opzione il flag al punto “RICERCA AUTOMATICA MACCHINE” non deve essere attivo.
Premere sul tasto Aggiungi per inserire manualmente le macchine e impostare i seguenti parametri:

2.6. LICENZA
In questa videata, vengono visualizzati sia la chiave di identificazione, sia la chiave di attivazione per
eventualmente cambiare il codice di registrazione nel caso in cui si comprino altre licenze e si passi ad esempio
da 3 macchine a 4 ecc.
Se è già presente un gruppo di pazienti, basta premere sul bottone “gruppo” per caricare tutti i pazienti di quel
gruppo sulle macchine.
Il software salva in automatico tutti i test/es. manuali eseguiti dai pazienti sotto la cartella
C:\RunnerConnect\TestCSV.
Il file sarà nominato con: id Paziente – Cognome Paziente - Anno - Mese - Giorno - Ora - Minuto - Secondo.CSV.

Mettendo la spunta sulle varie voci (Tutti, Attivi e Non Attivi) si possono visualizzare i pazienti attivi, quelli
non più attivi o visualizzare tutti i pazienti.
Alla conferma della scelta del protocollo, quest’ultimo appare nella schermata di controllo principale di fianco
al nome dell’utilizzatore scelto.

3.3. ALLARME F.C. FUORI DAL RANGE
Se durante lo svolgimento del protocollo la F.C. risulta fuori dal range della frequenza massima calcolata dal
software, la schermata relativa alla macchina del paziente si colora di arancione e la schermata di sfondo del
RunnerConnect in Giallo.
Se la F.C. è sotto al range minimo di lavoro, verificare che la fascia toracica del paziente sia ben posizionata.

3.4. CALCOLO DEI RANGE MINIMO E MASSIMO DELLA F.C.
Il software RunnerConnect, calcola automaticamente i valori di range della frequenza cardiaca con la seguente
formula:
Una volta entrati nella schermata, scegliere il paziente, il test e premere il pulsante “Aggiungi” per visualizzare
il test.
Se si preme il pulsante “Aggiungi Tutti i Test” si visualizzeranno tutti i test del paziente selezionato.
Per cancellarli dalla schermata di visualizzazione basta fare doppio click con il mouse sopra al test.

Se si mette la spunta sul bottone “Assi Multipli” compariranno gli assi relativi a tutte le informazioni del grafico
es. velocità, inclinazione, borg e bmp.

A questo punto selezionare se si vuole vedere gli esercizi svolti sulla bike o sul treadmill.
Selezionare inoltre il periodo di intervallo delle date di cui si vuole vedere il trend.
Se si mette la spunta sulla voce “Grafico trend a Linee” si avranno tre grafici divisi per ogni valore (speed,
elevazion, Watt,Borg e Bpm).

3.6. IMPORTAZIONE DEGLI ESERCIZI / TEST DALLE CONSOLLE PC-TOUCH
Si possono importare gli esercizi / test esportati in CSV dalle nuove consolle PC-Touch.
Dopo aver salvato il file CSV dalla consolle, con chiavetta USB, mettere la chiavetta nel pc dove è installato il
RunnerConncet e aprirlo.
Premere sull’icona “grafici” e dopo aver selezionato il paziente, premere sul bottone “Imposta
CSV”.
Apparirà una videta dove riporterà il nome del paziente, il percorso del file selezionato, il tipo di macchina
(treadmill/bike) su cui si è fatto l’esercizio/test, il nome dell’esercizio svolto (viene sempre proposto MANUALE
ma si può modificare) e la data e ora dell’esercizio (viene presa la data e l’ora dell’importazione del file ma si
può modificare).
Dopo aver fatto ok, premere il pulsante “Aggiungi” per visualizzare il test.
Se si preme il pulsante “Aggiungi Tutti i Test” si visualizzeranno tutti i test del paziente selezionato.
Per cancellarli dalla schermata di visualizzazione basta fare doppio click con il mouse sopra al test.

4. COLLEGAMENTO WI-FI
Il software può essere collegato attraverso la rete Wi-Fi alle macchine Runner.
Il suo raggio di azione è di circa 50mt.
L’AccessPoint del “RunnerConnect” non è in DHCP e quindi non rilascia degli indirizzi di rete.
L’utente, deve decidere in che modo collegarsi all’ AccessPoint (LAN o WiFi) del “RunnerConnect” e in che
modo andare in internet (LAN o WiFi).
Per poter utilizzare sul pc sia il “RunnerConnect” che internet, bisogna impostare un indirizzo fisso per il
“RunnerConnect” che sarà 10.1.0.99:
1) Premere il menu start e scrivere nella zona riservata alla ricerca “Rete”
3) Selezionare la connessione con cui si è collegato il “RunnerConnect” via WiFi o via LAN

5) Selezionare con doppio clic “Protocollo Internet versione 4 (TCP/IPv4)” in modo da aprirlo
Quando si utilizza il collegamento Wi-Fi con le macchine, prima di lanciare il RunnerConnect, va lanciato (SOLO
LA PRIMA VOLTA) il programma “DiscoveryTreadmillTCP” se si collegano dei tappeti o “DiscoveryBikeTcp” se si
collegano delle bike.
Se si collegano sia bike che tappeti, i due programmi vanno lanciati uno dopo l’altro.
Con questi due programmi il sistema va a mappare e riconoscere le macchine preparando così la
comunicazione.

ATTENZIONE: Questa operazione va fatta una sola volta nella fase di installazione del programma. Solitamente
viene fatta dai tecnici della Runner che installano il programma o da remoto.
La rete Wi-Fi per collegare le macchine viene realizzata attraverso un Access Point, il quale potrà essere
collegato al pc via cavo ethernet o in Wi-Fi.
Per collegare L’Access Point al pc via Wi-Fi basta attivare la ricezione Wireless sul pc e individuare la rete
“RunnerConnectWiFi”. La password per connettersi a questa rete è 053558447
Una volta che ci si è collegati a questa rete, si potrà utilizzare il programma gestendo le macchine in Wi-Fi.
Per potersi collegare alla rete “RunnerConnectWiFi” basta impostare il protocollo RUNNER-WIFI e impostare
un indirizzo fisso:

2) Premere sul bottone “Protocollo Ingresso” e impostare il protocollo in “RUNNER-WIFI” e premere il
tasto conferma per uscire.
4) Impostare:
• Wifi Active: ON
• Tipo Indirizzo: STATIC
• indirizzo fisso: 10.0.1.150 (in caso ci sianno più macchine le altre
saranno 151, 152, 153, 154 ecc…)
• SubnetMast: 255.255.255.0
• Default Gateway: 10.0.1.254
• SSID: RunnerConnectWiFi
Cliccando sul rettangolo nero riguardante il nome della rete WiFi “SSID”, il sistema
cercherà e visualizzerà le reti WiFi disponibili. Cliccare poi sulla rete desiderata.
• Chiave di accesso alla rete WiFi: 053558447

1. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION AND REGISTRATION
This software can manage up to three machines; other single licence for each further machine must be
purchased to increase the number of managed ones.
Go to point 2.10 “Licence” to see the number of connectable machines.

1.3. SOFTWARE REGISTRATION
At first the RunnerConnect software asks to be registered for three licences (i.e. the number of machines
connected to that licence);
To activate the software, send an e-mail with 32 digit Identification Key to Runner srl address
runner@runnerfitness.it showing your data.
Wait for the answer sent by e-mail from Runner Srl containing the 24 digit starting key.
2. SOFTWARE CONFIGURATIONS
2.1. CONFIGURATIONS
Click on “monkey wrench” to enter inside software configurations.

LANGUAGE
Five different languages can be chosen:
FRENCH, GERMAN, POLISH, ITALIAN and
ENGLISH
PASSWORD
It’s possible to set up or change the password to enter into
software configuration.
BORG
It’s possible to set up the maximum and minimum Borg
value.
STEP SOUND
It’s possible to set up the sound with which the software
advises the running step of programmed exercise/test.

2.2. HOW TO CREATE / MODIFY THE DATABASE OF PATIENTS
Click on database, to create / modify the register of patients.
Click on:
- Add to create a new patient;
- Edit to modify the data of registered patient;
- Delete to cancel a registered patient.
For each patient it’s possible to set up (besides of patient’s data) a standard test.
It’s also possible to set up the machine on which the patient will always make the test.

2.3. HOW TO CREATE/MODIFY PATIENTS GROUPS
This function allows to create patients group, selecting it and automatically downloading all patients

2.5. CONNECTIONS
Machines connected to software RunnerConnect by our RS232 cable can be manually connected as follows:
The flag of point “MACHINES AUTOMATIC RESEARCH” must not be activated.
Click on Add to manually add the machines and to set up the following parameters:
• Serial Port: COM set up to which the machine is connected.
• Machine Type: machine set up.
• Machine Model: model set up.
• Baudrate: communication speed set up.

Here are shown the identification key and starting key to be changed if other licences are bought.

3. HOW TO USE THE SOFTWARE
If it’s already created a patients group, click on to load on the machine all patients of that group.
The software automatically saves all tests/exercises made by patients under the cartel
C:\RunnerConnect\TestCSV.
The file will be named with: id Patient – Pazient Surname - Year - Month - Day - Hour - Minute - Second.CSV.
If you clic on All, Actives or Not Active, you can see all patients, active patients only or not active patients.

3.2. HOW TO START AND CHOICE THE PROTOCOL
Click on START to start and choice the protocol.
Choising “** MANUAL **” protocol, the set up of effort (speed, inclination and watt) is free.
If in the database (see 2.8) is set up a test, when patient is chosen, it will be automatically selected; clic
START to start it.
Choising one of protocols shown, the software shows the protocols that can be used with the machine
selected.
At confirmation of protocol choice, it appears in the screen near the patient name.

3.3. H.B. ALARM OUT OF RANGE
If during the test the Heart Beats come out of range of maximum value calculated by the software, the part
of the screen regarding the patient become orange and all screen become yellow.
Please always check that the chest belt is well dressed.

3.4. H.B. MIN. AND MAX. RANGE CALCULATION
RunnerConnect software automatically calculates the H.B. values with the following formula:
Choise the patient, test and clic on “Add” to see the test or all tests with “Add All Test”.
Make double click on the test to cancel them from screen.

Clicking on “Multi Axes” the axes of speed, inclination, borg and bmp will appear.

Click on Bike or Treadmill to see the exercises made on that machine and select the period.
Click on “Line trend chart” to see the charts for each value (speed, inclination,Watt, Borg and bpm).

3.6. WORKOUT / TEST IMPORT FROM CONSOLE PC-TOUCH
It’s possible to import workout/test exported in CSV from new console PC-Touch.
Save on USB key the CSV file from console, put the USB key into pc where RunnerConncet is instelled and
open the file.
The screen will show the patient name, the selected file, the kind of machine (treadmill/bike) used for
workout/test, the workout name (MANUAL is always suggested but it’s possible to change it) and date /
hour of workout (import date / hour is always suggested but it’s possible to change it).
Click on “ok” and “Add” keys to see the test.
Click on “Add all Tests” key to see all tests of selected patient.
Double click with mouse on test to delete them.

4. WI-FI CONNECTION

4) Click mouse right part and select “Proprietà”
For the first time only, before starting to use the RunnerConnect software by Wi-Fi, open program
“DiscoveryTreadmillTCP” if treadmills only are connected or “DiscoveryBikeTcp” if bikes only are connected. If
both treadmills and bikes are connected, the programs must be both opened. With these programs the
machines are prepared for connection.

ATTENTION: This operation must be done only during the software installation and it’s made by Runner
technician that instals the software or by remote.
Wi-Fi net is made by an Access Point that can be connected to PC by ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
To connect the Access Point to PC by Wi-Fi, activate Wireless on PC and find the net “RunnerConnectWiFi”.
Use password 053558447.
Once connected to this net, the program can be manage in Wi-Fi.

5. MACHINE PRESETTING TO WI-FI RUNNERCONNECT
CONNECTION
2) Push “Protocol Name” and setup protocol “RUNNER-WIFI”. Push confirm key to exit.
