1 - PREMESSA
Il Codice Sportivo Internazionale della F.I.A.
(COD) e i suoi allegati, il Regolamento Sportivo
Nazionale ACI (R.S.N.) e sue Appendici, i
Regolamenti Sportivi e Tecnici dell’ATOM F4
ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP sono, a tutti gli effetti,
gli unici testi validi ai quali uniformarsi. Per ciò
che non fosse espressamente indicato nel
Regolamento Sportivo dell’ATOM F4
CHAMPIONSHIP saranno valide le norme
contenute nei successivi aggiornamenti
pubblicati sul server Discord ATOM che
entreranno in vigore dalla data di pubblicazione.
ATOM si riserva di pubblicare, in qualsiasi
momento, le modifiche e le istruzioni, sia di
carattere sportivo che di carattere tecnico, che
riterrà opportuno dover impartire per la migliore
applicazione del Regolamento, del quale saranno
considerate parte integrante. In caso di
contestazioni o dubbi fa fede la versione in
italiano del presente Regolamento Sportivo.
L’iscrizione all’ATOM F4 ITALIAN
CHAMPIONSHIP sarà considerata implicita
dichiarazione del Concorrente di conoscere,
impegnandosi a rispettarle e a farle rispettare,
le disposizioni del Codice e dei suoi allegati, del
Regolamento Sportivo Nazionale (R.S.N.) e le sue
Appendici e del presente Regolamento; di
riconoscere ATOM quale unica giurisdizione
competente; di rinunciare, conseguentemente, ad
adire arbitri o altra giurisdizione per fatti
derivanti dall'organizzazione di gara e dallo
svolgimento della competizione.
2 - REQUISITI DI PARTECIPAZIONE
- Essersi iscritti presso il form di iscrizione. Le
iscrizioni non chiudono.
- Videogioco Assetto Corsa (non sono necessari
DLC).
- Joystick o Volante, non è consentita la guida con
la tastiera.
- IMPORTANTE: Installazione di tutta la
componentistica aggiuntiva prevista al gioco di
base, gratuita e garantita dagli organizzatori.
- Utilizzo ed interazione tramite Discord

3 - PUBBLICITA’
ATOM si riserva di pubblicizzare la competizione,
anche a competizione già iniziata, al fine di
aumentare il numero di concorrenti. Tutti i piloti
sono tenuti a seguire le disposizioni degli allegati
per ciò che concerne la pubblicità obbligatoria da
applicare sulle vetture e quant’altro.
1 - INTRODUCTION
The FIA International Sporting Code (CODE) and its
appendices, the Italian National Sporting
Regulations (R.S.N.) and its Appendices, the ATOM
F4 ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP Sporting and
Technical Regulations are, for all purposes, the only
valid text to be complied with. For all and any
requirement which is not expressly indicated in the
ATOM F4 CHAMPIONSHIP Sporting Regulations,
the following further regulations shall apply: 2020
the Italian National Sporting Regulations and any
ATOM news published on the official discord
server, valid as from date of publication. ATOM may,
at its own discretion, publish any other modifying
notice or instruction, either of a sporting or
technical nature, necessary for the best application
of the Regulations, of which they will be considered
an integrant part. For any discrepancy which may
arise between the English and the Italian version,
the Italian version will be binding.
Upon entering the ATOM F4 ITALIAN
CHAMPIONSHIP, the Competitor declares to
know and undertakes to abide by, and make others
observe, any and all provisions of the Sporting
Code and its annexes, of the National Sporting
Regulations (R.S.N.) and their Appendices as well as
of the present Regulations, he declares to recognize
the ATOM as the only competent jurisdiction; to
consequently renounce any other arbitration or
jurisdiction regarding matters arising from the
organisation and the development of the event.
2 - DRIVERS’ APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Fill on the registration form. You can fill in also
after the start of the competition.
- Assetto Corsa video game (no DLC required).
- Joystick or Steering wheel, keyboard is not allowed.
- Installation of all the additional components
provided for the basic game, free and guaranteed
by the organizers. (VERY IMPORTANT!)
- Mandatory monitoring of the Discord server for
updates, downloads, messages

3 - ADVERTISING
ATOM reserves the right to advertise the
competition, even after it has already started, in
order to increase the number of competitors. All
drivers are required to follow the provisions of the
annexes as regards the mandatory advertising to be
applied to the cars and so on.

5 - GESTIONE DELLA CAPIENZA DEL CIRCUITO E

vetture che si classificheranno oltre la posizione
massima relativa nelle prove libere.
5 - CARS BEYOND THE CIRCUIT CAPACITY LIMIT,

7 - SESSIONE DI PROVE LIBERE
La sessione di prova libera consiste nell'apertura
del server ed il libero utilizzo dello stesso per la
durata di almeno 5 giorni.
8 - SESSIONE DI QUALIFICA
Nelle giornate di gara, i piloti devono prestare la
massima attenzione a tutti i messaggi dati dalla
direzione di gara impostando il pannello di
visualizzazione di OSRW Race Admin in modo
ben visibile. L’inosservanza di questa norma
comporta la squalifica immediata dall’evento.
Dalla sessione di qualifica in poi è proibito
l’utilizzo del tasto ESC. Bisognerà rientrare ai
BOX manualmente.
Saranno ammessi i piloti che si saranno piazzati
nelle prime n posizioni (con n = capienza massima
del circuito) delle prove libere.
La sessione di qualifica ha una durata di 20
minuti.
Si applica la regola del 107% per eliminare i piloti
evidentemente non in grado di portare a termine
un giro sufficientemente rapido, anche se i
commissari possono autorizzare alla partenza a
propria discrezione (ci devono essere motivi
fondati).
Per completare il giro dopo l’esposizione della
bandiera a scacchi, ci sarà un overtime
(cronometro che partirà dal termine della
sessione) corrispondente al 120% del giro più
veloce della sessione.
9 - SESSIONE DI GARA
Si applica quanto in vigore nella presente
normativa a livello di regolamento sportivo.

Dalla sessione di qualifica in poi è proibito
l’utilizzo del tasto ESC. Bisognerà rientrare ai
BOX manualmente. In caso di scoppio del
motore, il pilota deve accostare in un punto
sicuro della pista ed attendere istruzioni dalla
direzione di gara.
Si hanno a disposizione 3 minuti per la scelta del
setup della vettura tramite il pannello integrato.
Una volta schierati in griglia, la partenza da fermo
sarà data mediante segnali luminosi.
Al termine della gara e successiva validazione
della classifica, l’assegnazione di punti sarà la
seguente:
7 - FREE PRACTICE SESSION
The FP session consists in the opening of the server
and the free use of it by the drivers for the duration
of at least 5 days.
8 - QUALIFICATION
On the race days, drivers must pay attention to all
messages given by Race Control by setting the
OSRW Race Admin display panel to be clearly
visible. Failure to comply with this rule results in
immediate disqualification from the event.
From the qualification session onwards, the use of
the ESC key is prohibited. It will be necessary to
return to the pit lane manually.
Drivers who in FP will be placed in the first n
positions will be admitted (with n = maximum
capacity of the circuit).
The qualifying session lasts 20 minutes.
The 107% rule is applied in order to eliminate
drivers who are obviously unable to complete a fast
enough lap, however the stewards can authorize a
driver to start the race, given valid reasons.
To allow to complete the lap after the chequered
flag has been exposed, there will be an overtime of
120% of the fastest lap of the session.
9 - RACE SESSION
The rules in force in this legislation apply on behalf
of the sporting regulations.
(see appendix A)
From the qualification session onwards, the use of
the ESC key is prohibited. It will be necessary to
return to the BOX manually. In the event of an
engine explosion, the driver must pull over to a
safe point on the track and await instructions
from Race Control.
You have 3 minutes of time to choose the car setup
via the integrated menu.
Once lined up on the grid, the standing start will be
given by light signals.
At the end of the race and subsequent validation of
the classification, the assignment of points will be
as follows:

I punteggi acquisiti saranno validi per le rispettive
classifiche di Campionato, che sono:
- Classifica piloti (di una squadra);
- Classifica team;
- Classifica piloti privati.
L’assegnazione dei premi è descritta nel relativo
articolo dedicato, all’interno del regolamento
tecnico.
10 – SAFETY CAR / VSC
L'uso della Safety car o della VSC è a discrezione
della Direzione di Gara.
Dal momento in cui viene disposta sino al
termine, i piloti:
- non possono sorpassare;
- non devono effettuare manovre brusche;
- devono rallentare, se con VSC alla velocità
indicata.
11 - PENALITA’
(10s o 20s) STOP AND GO
Il Collegio del Commissari Sportivi, nel caso in cui
un conduttore tenga un comportamento
in gara che violi le norme sportive, deve applicare
la penalità dello “stop and go”, con l’osservanza
delle seguenti procedure:
La penalità dello “stop and go” deve essere
segnalata al conduttore penalizzato mediante
attività vocale o chat di gioco (con appositi
accorgimenti), accompagnato dal rispettivo
numero di gara.
Dal momento della prima esposizione del
messaggio, il conduttore entro i tre giri
successivi, deve rientrare nella corsia box,
percorrendola sino al suo box nella pit lane e si
dovrà fermare appena prima di essa (con tutte e 4
le ruote fuori).
Tuttavia, egli non potrà effettuare tale penalità
se la gara sarà sotto regime di safety car.
Durante l’effettuazione dello “stop and go” non
sarà possibile lavorare sulla vettura.
Ai conduttori che non rispettano le disposizioni
relative allo “stop and go”, deve essere esposta la
bandiera nera.
La penalità dello Stop and Go non deve essere
applicata negli ultimi 5 giri. In sostituzione, al
tempo di gara del conduttore interessato devono
essere aggiunti 30”.

The acquired points will be valid for the respective
rankings of the Championship, which are:
- Drivers’ classification (members of a team);
- Teams’ classification;
- Private Drivers’ classification.
The awarding of prizes is described in the relative
dedicated article, within the technical regulations’
document.
10 - SAFETY CAR / VSC
The use of the (Virtual) Safety car is at the
discretion of the Race Direction.
From the deployment until the end of the SC
regime, drivers:
- cannot overtake;
- must not drive dangerously;
- have to slow down, if in VSC at or below the given
maximum speed limit.
11 - PENALTIES
(10-second or 20-second) STOP AND GO
The Board of Stewards, in the event that a driver
behaves in a race that violates the sporting rules,
must apply the penalty of "stop and go", with the
observance of the following procedures:
The “stop and go” penalty must be reported to the
penalized driver through voice activity or game
chat (with appropriate precautions), accompanied
by the respective racing number.
From the moment of the first display of the
message, the driver must return to the pit lane
within the following three laps,
driving it up to his box in the pit lane and he will
have to stop just before it (with all 4 wheels out).
However, he will not be able to take this penalty if
the race is under the safety car regime.
During the "stop and go" it will not be possible to
work on the car.
Drivers who do not comply with the provisions
relating to "stop and go" must be shown the black
flag.
The Stop and Go penalty must not be applied in the
last 5 laps. In replacement, 30 seconds must be
added to the race time of the driver concerned.

Le decisioni dell’ Ufficiale di Gara incaricato allo
“stop and go” in materia di esecuzione della
penalità sono immediatamente esecutive e non
sono suscettibili di autonoma impugnazione.
Il Collegio dei Commissari Sportivi ha la facoltà
di applicare a fine gara, oltre alla penalità dello
“stop and go”, anche una penalità in tempo.
DRIVE-THROUGH
Il Collegio del Commissari Sportivi potrà
applicare la penalità del Drive Through (DT) con
l’osservanza delle seguenti procedure:
- nel caso in cui un conduttore incorra in una
falsa partenza;
- nel caso in cui un conduttore tenga un
comportamento in gara che violi le norme
sportive.
La penalità deve essere segnalata al conduttore
penalizzato mediante attività vocale o chat di
gioco (con appositi accorgimenti), accompagnato
dal rispettivo numero di gara.
Dal momento della prima esposizione del
messaggio, il conduttore entro i tre giri
successivi, deve rientrare nella corsia box
percorrendola nel rispetto del limite di velocità,
sino a rientrare in pista al termine della stessa.
Tuttavia, egli non potrà effettuare tale penalità
se la gara sarà sotto regime di safety car.
Durante l’effettuazione del “drive through” non
sarà possibile lavorare sulla vettura.
La penalità del DT non deve essere applicata negli
ultimi 5 giri. In sostituzione, al tempo di gara del
conduttore interessato, devono essere aggiunti
20 secondi. Ai conduttori che non rispettano le
disposizioni relative al DT deve essere esposta la
bandiera nera.
Le decisioni dell’ Ufficiale di Gara incaricato al
“drive through” in materia di esecuzione della
penalità sono immediatamente esecutive e non
sono suscettibili di autonoma impugnazione.
ALTRE PENALITÀ
Dopo la fine della gara, i Commissari Sportivi
potranno imporre penalità di tempo a loro
discrezione, spiegandone i motivi.
The decisions of the Race Official in charge of the
"stop and go" regarding the execution of the penalty
are immediately enforceable and are not subject to
independent appeal.
The Board of Stewards has the right to apply a
time penalty at the end of the race, in addition to
the “stop and go” penalty.
DRIVE-THROUGH
The Stewards' Board may apply the Drive Through
penalty (DT) by observing the following procedures:
- in the event that a conductor incurs a false start;
- in the event that a conductor behaves in a race
that violates sporting rules.
The penalty must be reported to the penalized
driver through voice activity or game chat (with
appropriate precautions), accompanied by the
respective race number.
From the moment of the first display of the
message, the driver must enter the pit lane within
the following three laps, following it in compliance
with the speed limit, until re-entering the track at
the end of it.
However, he will not be able to take this penalty
if the race will be under the safety car regime.
While carrying out the "drive through" it will not be
possible to work on the car.
The DT penalty must not be applied in the last 5
laps. In replacement, 20 seconds must be added to
the race time of the driver concerned. Drivers who
do not comply with the provisions relating to the
DT must be shown the black flag.
The decisions of the Race Official in charge of the
"drive through" regarding the execution of the
penalty are immediately enforceable and are not
subject to autonomous appeal.
OTHER PENALTIES
After the end of the race, the Stewards may impose
time penalties at their own discretion, while
explaining the reasons.

APPENDIX A OF THE SPORTING REGULATIONS

(INTERNATIONAL SPORTING CODE, ENGLISH TEXT ONLY):

1. Yellow Flag
a. Single [stationary] yellow flag means overtaking prohibited due to danger on or near
the track. Double waved yellow flag (communicated by the Clerk of The Course)
means overtaking prohibited due to blocked track. On double yellow flags, a speed
reduction is required.
b. Safety Car is put out on track when an incident blocks the track.
c. e.g. of message “DOUBLE YELLOW AT TURN 7”

2. White Flag
a. A white flag might be used when a slow moving vehicle is on the track.

3. Black and White Flag

a. Warns a driver for unsportsmanlike behaviour. May be followed by a black flag upon
further infringement.
b. Must be accompanied by the driver's number and exposed with a message by the
Clerk of The Course.
c. e.g. of message “BLACK AND WHITE FLAG FOR CAR 93”

4. Black and Orange Flag

a. Car is damaged, driver has a mechanical problem and must return to pits as soon as
possible.
b. Must be accompanied by the driver's number and exposed with a message by the
Clerk of The Course.
c. e.g. of message “BLACK AND ORANGE FLAG FOR CAR 93”

5. Black Flag
a. Driver is disqualified and must return to pits immediately.
b. Must be accompanied by the driver's number and exposed with a message by the
Clerk of The Course.
c. e.g. of message “BLACK FLAG FOR CAR 93”
