INFORMAZIONI

Il sistema dotato della funzione di autoapprendimento, che permette di semplificare tutte

le operazioni di radiocomandi solo con il consenso dellutente. La procedura descritta nel
manuale di installazione.
Codice personale PIN
Ogni sistema della serie 4000 ha un PIN code che devessere utilizzato per il disinserimento
programmato in fabbrica.

clacson (uscita intermittente) oppure selezionare uno dei quattro suoni sirena:

Elenco delle funzioni di selezione avvisatore acustico

BRIDGE 4100

Inserisce lallarme e limmobilizzatore, esclude lingresso volumetrico e lingresso

sensori supplementari, attiva lopzione panico, consente laccesso alla
programmazione, seleziona la linea e aumenta il volume del buzzer nelle tabelle
di programmazione, attiva lopzione Car Finder.
Diminuisce il volume del buzzer, disinserisce lallarme e limmobilizzatore, attiva/
disattiva la funzione.

ATTENZIONE!
Questo prodotto configurato per soddisfare i requisiti della Direttiva Europea per i sistemi di
allarme. Lutilizzazione della funzione buzzer consentita solo per i mercati extra CE. Lattivazione
invalida lomologazione.
Prima di iniziare linstallazione scollegare il cavo negativo dalla batteria e ricollegarlo solo
ad installazione ultimata.Questo sistema compatibile con veicoli a motore che abbiano batteria
a 12 V con negativo a massa.

The system has an auto-learning function that simplifies the radio control operations when
enabled by the user.
The procedure is described in the installation manual.
Personal PIN code
Each alarm system in the 4000 series has a PIN code, which must be used as an override to
disarm the system in an emergency. The PIN CODE programmed in the factory is:

Se puede configurar la salida de mando de la bocina de manera tal de poder conectar una
bocina (salida intermitente) o bien seleccionar uno de los cuatro sonidos sirena:
Monotonal fijo

Con seal modulado en frecuencia
Tomar como referencia la TABLA SIRENAS de las lminas de programacin.

Activa la alarma y el inmovilizador, excluye la entrada volumtrica y la entrada

sensores suplementarios, activa la opcin pnico, permite el acceso a la
programacin, selecciona la lnea y aumenta el volumen del buzzer en las
tablas de programacin, activa la opcin Car Finder.
Disminuye el volumen del buzzer, desactiva la alarma y el inmovilizador,
activa/desactiva la funcin.

ATENCION!
Este producto est configurado para satisfacer los requisitos de la Directiva Europea para los
sistemas de alarma. La utilizacin de la funcin buzzer est permitida slo en los mercados no
europeos. La activacin invalida la homologacin.
Antes de iniciar la instalacin desconectar el cable negativo de la batera y volver a
conectarlo solo finalizada la instalacin. Este sistema es compatible con vehculos a motor
que tengan batera de 12 V con negativo a masa.

Este manual contiene todas las informaciones relativas a las operaciones que se requieren
para instalar el sistema de alarma y para configurarlo como solicitado por el cliente y/o por las
disposiciones normativas de su pas. Para la descripcin de las diversas funciones consultar el
manual usuario. Deber Usted indicar en el manual usuario la programacin efectuada. La
descripcin de funcionamiento de las diversas funciones se expone en el manual usuario,
mientras que en este manual se exponen algunas notas que deber Usted tener en cuenta
durante la instalacin.

Lista de las funciones bsicas (no programables)

A continuacin se encuentran enumeradas las caractersticas funcionales principales de la
alarma, que no es posible activar/desactivar y personalizar.
Activacin/desactivacin mediante los mandos a distancia de cdigo dinmico.
Proteccin volumtrica del habitculo con sensor de ultrasonidos que no necesita regulaciones
de la sensibilidad.
Proteccin perimetral. Con la alarma activada, luego de 40 segundos, la sirena suena si se
abre una puerta, el capot o el maletero.
Proteccin contra tentativos de arranque. Con la alarma activada el motor est bloqueado y
el tentativo de arranque genera alarma.
Cuando se verifica una alarma la sirena suena por 30 segundos con una potencia de 115 dB
(@ 1 m). Los indicadores de direccin parpadean.
Mando del sistema original de cierre centralizado de puertas y maletero.
LED de indicacin del estado del sistema con funcin de memoria de las alarmas que se
verificaron
Sealizacin batera del mando a distancia agotada
Un circuito de seguridad impide la activacin del sistema con el motor en marcha.
Alarma modo pnico
Exclusin ultrasonidos y/o un eventual sensor externo con el mando a distancia
Autoaprendizaje de los mandos a distancia
Desactivacin de emergencia con pin-code
Proteccin corte cables
Funcin garaje

Remote arming/disarming via dynamic code radio controls.

Perimetric protection. 23 s after the alarm has been armed, the siren sounds if a door bonnet
or boot are opened.
Original central locking command for doors and boot.
Radio control battery low signal
Volumetric protection of the passenger compartment by self adjusting ultrasonic sensor.
Hotwire protection. When armed, the immobiliser is activated and any attempt at starting
triggers an alarm condition.
When the alarm is triggered the siren sounds for 30 s at more than 115 dB (@ 1m) and the

This manual contains all the information necessary to install the alarm system and to set it
up as required by the customer and/or by the local / insurance directive. Refer to the user
manual for a description of each function. You should indicate the program you have set in
the user manual. Each function is described in the user manual, while in this manual you will
find some suggestions to follow during the installation.

El sistema cuenta con la funcin de autoaprendizaje, que permite simplificar todas las operaciones
de mandos a distancia slo con el consentimiento del usuario. El procedimiento se describe en
el manual de instalacin.

Cada sistema de la serie 4000 cuenta con un cdigo PIN (PIN code) que deberemos utilizar
para la desactivacin programada en fbrica.

Button A
Arms the alarm and immobiliser, cuts out the volumetric input and supplementary sensor
input, activates the panic option, allows access to the programming function, selects the line
and raises the buzzer volume in the programming tables, activates the Car Finder option.

ATTENTION!
This product is preset to comply with EC Directives for alarm systems. The buzzer function may
only be used in non-EC countries, otherwise the approval will be invalidated.
Disconnect the negative wire from the battery prior to installation and only connect it again
after installation has terminated.
This system is compatible with 12 volt negative ground vehicles.

All the parts of the system should be installed in hidden locations which are difficult to access
and are wail away from heat sources.
Alarm unit
Fit in the passenger compartment. The alarm unit main connector should exit downwards.
Siren with back up battery
Locate in the engine bay taking care to position it as indicated.

direction clignotent deux fois et le
buzzer met deux signaux
sonores (s'il est activ).
Les portes se verrouillent.
La LED sallume.

Agitez une main travers la vitre

ouverte, la hauteur des appuistte avant.
Si lindicateur LED steint
chaque mouvement, le dtecteur
est en train de fonctionner
correctement.

Attendez 40 s.
Ouvrez une porte avec la cl.
La sirne sonne et les indicateurs
de direction clignotent.
Fermez la porte.
Arrtez la sirne au moyen de la
touche "B" de la radiocommande.

Dsactivez lalarme en appuyant

sur la touche B de la
radiocommande et fermez les
vitres.

Rptez l'essai sur les autres

portes relies, le capot et le coffre.

Activez lalarme au moyen du

bouton A et puis tapotez avec
le paume de la main sur toutes
les vitres. Lindicateur LED doit
rester allum de manire fixe (ne
dtecte aucune fausse alarme).

Fix in the engine compartment, using the screws
provided, to a metal surface to facilitate heat
dissipation.

Bonnet switch
The button must be installed to allow access to the alarm programming procedures and radio
control auto-learning phase.
After installation, check to make sure that the button is depressed at least 5 mm by the bonnet.
Make sure that the button does not press against soundproofing panels or against the outer
bodywork of the vehicle as these materials could deform over a period of time.

Fit the transducers at the top of the pillars each side of the windscreen or rear window, making
sure. taking care that they are not covered when the sunvisors are down. If the car is equipped
with sliding sunroof, do not fit the transducers on the dashboard. Check the right position of the
transducers during the functional test of the system. No adjustment is required for the
volumetric ultrasonic sensor.
It adapts to all types of vehicle, regardless of the volume of the passager compartment.

Antenna
The position of the antenna is of fundamental importance to the operation of the radio controls.
The wire must not be cut, wound, connected to other wires or to the bodywork and must be kept
separate from the wiring harness. Position the antenna at least 20 mm away from metallic
parts.

Emergency override panel

Install on the dashboard in an accessable position. The LED must olso be visableto the user.
In addition to its deterrent function, the panel (LED + push button) is used for programming and
for emergency override.

PROCEDURE DASSOCIATION DE NOUVELLES RADIOCOMMANDES (AUTOAPPRENTISSAGE)
Si vous perdez une radiocommande ou si elle ne fonctionne pas correctement, vous pourrez la
remplacer en toute scurit car cette opration nest permise que dans des cas particuliers.
Si vous avez au moins une radiocommande et quelle fonctionne correctement, procdez de la
manire suivante :
1. Dsactivez le systme.
2. Ouvrez une porte et le capot.
3. tablissez le contact.
4. Appuyez sur la touche A de la radiocommande jusqu ce que les indicateurs de direction
clignotent une fois.
5. Entrez le code PIN.
6. Le systme confirme que vous avez activ la procdure dauto-apprentissage par un autre
clignotement long des indicateurs de direction et lallumage fixe de lindicateur LED du
systme dalarme.
7. Appuyez sur la touche A de la radiocommande, vrifiez que lindicateur LED de la
radiocommande clignote et que celui du panneau de secours steint pendant environ 1 s.
Mme les indicateurs de direction confirmeront par un bref clignotement la mmorisation de
la radiocommande.
8. Rptez les oprations 7 pour toutes les radiocommandes que vous voulez associer (mme
la radiocommande qui fonctionnait devra tre mmorise de nouveau).
9. Si vous neffectuez aucune opration pendant plus de 30 secondes, le systme quitte
automatiquement la modalit dapprentissage et signale labandon par un clignotement long
des indicateurs de direction.
10. Pour quitter la procdure tout moment, il suffit de couper le contact. Cette opration peut
tre effectue tout moment.
ATTENTION !
Si vous avez perdu les deux radiocommandes, la procdure est la suivante :
A. Dsactivez le systme en introduisant le code PIN.
B. Coupez lalimentation au systme dalarme (dbranchez le connecteur de la centrale).
C. Ouvrez une porte et le capot.
D. tablissez le contact.
E. Remettez sous tension.
F. Tapez le code PIN.
G. Un clignotement long de lindicateur LED confirme que le code est correct.
H. Aprs environ 5 secondes lindicateur LED est allum de manire fixe, pour signaler que
vous tes en procdure dauto-apprentissage.
I. Rptez les oprations 7 de la procdure dassociation pour toutes les radiocommandes
que vous voulez associer.

How to regulate the buzzer volume

Access the programming mode to regulate the volume of the buzzer. The system must be
disarmed, the door and bonnet must be open and the dashboard must be on (+15 activated).
Keep key A on the radio control depressed. If all the conditions are favourable, the LED on the
emergency override panel will come on and the system will respond after about 3 s by flashing
the turn indicators to inform you that you have accessed the buzzer table of the programming
function. Press key A on the radio control to increase the volume of the buzzer, or press key
B to lower it.
Shut the bonnet to quit the programming function.

How to program the system

To access the programming mode, the system must be disarmed, the door and bonnet must be
open and the dashboard must be on (+15 activated). Keep key A on the radio control depressed.
If all the conditions are favourable, the LED on the emergency panel will come on and the
system will respond after about 3 s by flashing the turn indicators to inform you that you have
accessed the buzzer table of the programming function. Press key A on the radio control to
increase the volume of the buzzer, or press key B to lower it.
To switch to the next table, turn the ignition key OFF and then ON again. The system will respond
with two flashes from the turn indicators to inform you that you have accessed table 2.
This signal will be given every 10 s or so to remind you the number of the page you have
accessed.
To switch to table 3, turn the ignition key OFF and then ON again. The system always confirms
that the table has changed by flashing the blinker three times.
Four flashes mean that you are in table 4.

How to activate/deactivate a function

After having accessed one of the tables, press key A on the radio control and go to the number
of the line corresponding to the function you wish to activate/deactivate. A fast flash will indicate
that the function is deactivated. A slow flash indicates that it is activated. The number of flashes
correspond to the number of the line in the function table you have selected.
Press key B on the radio control to activate/deactivate a function.
Several functions can be activated in the same page at the same time. Activation of a function
does not deactivate the others.
When you shut the bonnet, the system will flash the turn indicators for 3 s to inform you that you
have quit the programming procedure.
Refer to page 25 which contains a quick programming guide.

Nota : Quand vous associez une nouvelle radiocommande, le systme met automatiquement
hors service les radiocommandes utilises auparavant. Pour les maintenir en service,
vous devrez les associer de nouveau. Le systme peut mmoriser un maximum de 4

This function makes the external buzzer operate when the reverse gear is engaged.

Quand vous passez la marche arrire cette fonction permet de dclencher un son du buzzer
extrieur ; pour activer cette fonction, utiliser lentre du coffre (fil blanc/bleu) relie au fil de la
marche arrire, avec polarit positive (page 2 ligne 8) active.

Rglage du volume du buzzer

AUTO-LEARNING PROCEDURE FOR NEW REMOTE CONTROLS

Pour rgler le volume du buzzer il est ncessaire dentrer en mode programmation. Le systme
doit tre dsactiv, la porte et le capot ouverts et la cl tourne en position de contact (+15 sous
tension). Maintenez la touche A de la radiocommande enfonce. Si toutes ces conditions se
vrifient, lindicateur LED du panneau de secours sallume. Au bout denviron 3 secondes, le
systme rpondra par un clignotement des indicateurs de direction pour signaler que vous tes
en programmation, dans le tableau du buzzer. En appuyant sur la touche A de la radiocommande
le volume du buzzer augmente ; en appuyant sur la touche B le volume diminue.
Fermez le capot pour quitter la programmation.

If a radio control is lost or faulty, it can be replaced in a secure way as this operation can only
be carried out in certain conditions.
Proceed as follows if you have at least one radio control that works:

Programmation du systme
Pour avoir accs la programmation, le systme doit tre dsactiv, la porte et le capot ouverts

Le systme rpondra par deux clignotements des indicateurs de direction pour signaler que
vous tes dans le tableau 2. Cette signalisation sera mise toutes les 10 s. environ pour vous
rappeler le numro de page dans laquelle vous vous trouvez.
Pour passer au tableau 3, tournez la cl de contact sur OFF et puis sur ON. Mme dans ce cas
le systme confirme le changement de tableau par trois clignotements.
Quatre clignotements indiqueront que vous tes dans le tableau 4.
Activation / dsactivation dune fonction
Ds que vous tes dans un des tableaux, appuyez sur la touche A de la radiocommande et
slectionnez le numro de ligne qui correspond la fonction que vous voulez activer / dsactiver.
Un clignotement rapide indiquera que la fonction est dsactive, un clignotement lent indiquera
quelle est active ; le nombre de clignotements correspond au numro de ligne du tableau des
fonctions que vous avez slectionne.
Pour activer / dsactiver une fonction, appuyez sur la touche B de la radiocommande.
Dans la mme page il est possible dactiver plusieurs fonctions en mme temps. Lactivation
dune fonction ne dsactive pas automatiquement les autres.
En fermant le capot, le systme signale par un clignotement de 3 s. des indicateurs de direction
que vous avez quitt la procdure de programmation.

9. If no more operations are carrier out within 30 s, the system automatically quits the autolearning procedure giving a long blink of the turn indicators.
10. To quit from the auto-learning procedure at any time, just close the bollet.

Repeat step 7 of the auto-learning procedure for all radio control you want to add

Note: When a new radio control is added to the system it will automatically delete all old radio
controls. If you want to keep them working you must memorize the old radio controls again 4
radio controls can be programmed.

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR CONNECTION (VSS)

The VSS signal frequency is proportional to the speed of the vehicle (it is normally a
rectangular signal with f max = 4 KHz).
If the activated function requires it, the VSS signal must be connected to the PINK-BLACK
wire of the alarm. In some vehicles, the signal must be taken straight from the combined
instrument. The signal must not be taken from the ABS control system or from control

Panneau de secours
A installer sur le tableau de bord, avec le bouton dans une position facile atteindre et lindicateur
LED bien visible mme par lutilisateur. En effet ce panneau a une fonction dissuasive (LED +
bouton), mais il sert aussi pendant les oprations de programmation et pour les oprations de
reconnaissance de lutilisateur.
