Confina a sud-est con la Slovacchia, a sud con l'Austria, a

ovest con la Germania e a nord con la Polonia. È uno Stato
senza sbocco al mare. La sua capitale è Praga. È formata
storicamente da tre grandi regioni: Boemia (ovest),
Moravia (est) e Slesia (divisa con la Polonia e, per una
porzione minima, con la Germania).
Nel cuore dell'Europa,nata il 1° gennaio 1993 dalla
scissione della Cecoslovacchia, fa parte dell'Unione
europea, il territorio è in prevalenza pianeggiante e
collinare
tra le città piu belle troviamo:
-Praga, la Città delle 100 torri, ricca di storia e cultura con
monumenti in ogni angolo. Il ponte Carlo è il simbolo
della città.
-Cesky Krumlov, pittoresca cittadina nel cuore della
boemia, vicoletti incantevoli e casette dal tetto a punta, è
attraversata dal fiume Moldava
al centro della Repubblica Ceca, si trova la località di
Kutnà Hora. Il nome della città è traducibile in italiano
come "Monte dei cappuccini", da Kutná = cappuccio e
Hora = montagna, con "cappuccini" per estensione da
"cappuccio" per via del monastero.
Telc è uno dei luoghi più romantici del Paese. In città
si può ammirare un castello ed una lunga piazza su
cui si affacciano case in stile rinascimentale, Dal 1992
il centro storico è un patrimonio dell'umanità
dell'UNESCO.Marianske Lazne, vera e propria perla
della Boemia Occidentale.
Il capoluogo della Boemia meridionale è České
Budějovice.

Karlštejn, località nota per il suo meraviglioso castello,
situato nel cuore della pittoresca regione del Carso
boemo, è considerato il castello più importante della
Boemia. A causa del fatto che si trova a breve distanza
dalla capitale Praga, un numero enorme di turisti viene
qui ogni anno.

It is bordered to the southeast by Slovakia, to the

Kutnà Hora. The name of the city can be translated into
Italian as "Mount of the Capuchins", from Kutná = hood and
Hora = mountain, with "cappuccini" by extension from
"Hood" because of the monastery.
Telc is one of the most romantic places in the country. In
the city you can admire a castle and a long square
overlooked by Renaissance-style houses. Since 1992 the
historic center has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

capital Prague, a huge number of tourists come here
every year.
