l’indulgenza plenaria nella forma stabilita dalla
Chiesa.
Preghiamo Dio onnipotente perché conservi a
lungo il Papa a guida della Chiesa, e conceda
pace e unità alla Chiesa in tutto il mondo”

The Holy Father gives his Christmas message.
The Cardinal Protodeacon announces the
granting of the plenary indulgence:
“His Holiness Pope Francis grants a plenary
indulgence in the form laid down by the Church
to all the faithful present and to those who
receive his blessing by radio, television and the
new communications media.
Let us ask Almighty God to grant the Pope
many years as leader of the Church and peace
and unity to the Church throughout the world.”

Interreligious Dialogue since 25 June 2007.

potestate et auctoritate confidimus, ipsi
intercedant pro nobis ad Dominum.

Precibus et meritis beatæ Mariæ semper
Virginis, beati Michælis Archangeli, beati
Ioannis Baptistæ, et sanctorum Apostolorum
Petri et Pauli et omnium Sanctorum,
misereatur vestri omnipotens Deus et, dimissis
omnibus peccatis vestris, perducat vos Iesus

Vergine Maria, di San Michele Arcangelo, di
San Giovanni Battista, dei Santi Apostoli
Pietro e Paolo e di tutti i Santi, Dio
onnipotente abbia misericordia di voi e, dopo
aver perdonato i vostri peccati, Cristo Gesù vi
conduca alla vita eterna.

Il Signore onnipotente e misericordioso vi
conceda l’indulgenza, l’assoluzione e la
remissione di tutti i vostri peccati, un periodo
di vera e fruttuosa penitenza, un cuore sempre
ben disposto e l’emendamento della vita, la
grazia e la consolazione dello Spirito Santo e
la perseveranza finale nelle buone opere.

apostles Peter and Paul, and all the saints, may
Almighty God have mercy on you and forgive
all your sins, and may Jesus Christ bring you

indulgence, absolution and the remission of all
your sins, a season of true and fruitful
