Uomo: “Buon Giorno Signorina!”

“Good day, miss!”

Donna: “Buon Giorno Signore!”

“Good day, sir!”

U: “Com’ e stai?”
“How are you doing?”

D: “Sto bene grazie. E tu, com’ e stai?”

“I’m fine, thanks. And you, how are you?”

U: “Sto bene anche, grazie. Da dove vieni tu?”

“I’m fine too, thank you. Where are you from?”

D: “Io vengo da Venezia.”

“I am from Venice.”

U: “Benissimo! E una bella citta, vero?”

“Great! It's a beautiful city, isn't it?”

D: “Si, e molto interresante pure. Pieno di tante cose da fare.”

“Yes, and very interesting as well. Full of so many things to do.”

U: “Da vero?”
“Really?”

D: “Si! E mi piace molto a stare li. Facendo le passegiata ogni giorno.”

“Yes! And I really enjoy being there. Taking walks every day.”

U: “Ho sentito che ci sono moltissimi ponti e tante Chiese bellissime!

“I hear that there are so many beautiful bridges and churches!”
D: “E la verita! In fatti, ci sono delle gondole chepas sano sotto le ponte attorno la citta!”
“It's the truth! In fact, there are gondolas that pass under the bridges, around the city!”

U: “Tu, ne hay provato a farlo?”

“Have you tried this?”

D: “Si, certamente. Ho provato con il mio fratello. Era veramente miravigliosa!”

“Yes, of course. I tried it with my brother. It was truly miraculous!”

U: “Che bello! Mi interressa molto di andare con te. Quando ritorni tu a Venezia?”
“How nice! I'm really interested in going with you. When are you coming back to Venice?!”
D: “Ritorno a Venezia domani sera. Se ne vuoi, ti porto Io con me.”
“I return to Venice tomorrow night. If you want, I'll take you with me.”

U: “Sei sicurro?”
“Are you sure?”

D: “Assolutamente!”
“Absolutely!”

U: “Va bene. E mi piace molto! Allora, a domani?

“All right. And I love it! So, see you tomorrow?”

D: “Si, a domani.”
“Yes, tomorrow.”

U: “Arrivederci”
“Goodbye”

D: “Ciao!”
“Goodbye”
