Le Torri Gemelle (World Trade Center) erano un complesso di sette

edifici nella parte sud dell'isola di Manhattan, nel Lower Manhattan,

famosi perché erano molto simili tra di loro e simbolo dell'America.
Gli edifici sopravvissuti non ce ne sono stati perché dopo la caduta
delle due torri, gli edifici minori sono stati abbattuti perché inagibili
o crollati dopo la caduta dei primi due. Attualmente c'è solo il nome
di tutte le vittime per non dimenticare l'accaduto dell'11 settembre
2001, quando due aerei di terroristi si sono abbattuti contro i
grattacieli a bordo di un Boeing 767. Prima dell'accaduto, i
passeggeri a bordo di quei aerei sono riusciti a contattare delle
persone informando che gli aerei erano stati manomessi e guidati
da terroristi con coltelli, gas lacrimogeno, spray al peperoncino e
bombe. Nelle analisi però non sono stati trovati polveri esplosivi
quindi si pensa che erano ordigni finti. I mezzi di trasporto
compresi in questo atto terroristico furono 4: due per le torri
gemelle, uno per il Pentagono e un altro che non è arrivato a
destinazione per via della ribellione dei passeggeri diretto verso il
Campidoglio o la Casa Bianca a Washington. La prima torre a
cadere fu la seconda alle ore 9:59 circa, dopo un incendio di 56
minuti causato dall'impatto del volo United Airlines 175. Quella
settentrionale cadde dopo 102 minuti alle ore 10:28 susseguendo la
distruzione del WTC 7. Nei 3 giorni successivi in america c'è stato
una grande confusione di notiziari dove certi dicono (e che
sostengono tutt'oggi, ma è assolutamente falso) che non sono
crollati per via dell'impatto degli aerei ma per via degli esplosivi
piazzati nei vari 110 piani. In questi tre giorni, anche il traffico
aereo era completamente bloccato. George W. Bush, in quel
periodo presidente degli Stati Uniti, dichiarò la ricostruzione dopo
5.100 persone morte e disperse ma in fine si è solo riuscito a
costruire un'immensa buca con tutte le targhette delle vittime.
The Twin Towers (World Trade Center) was a complex of seven
buildings in the south of the island of Manhattan, in Lower
Manhattan, famous because they were very similar to each other
and a symbol of America. The surviving buildings were not there
because after the fall of the two towers, the smaller buildings were
destroyed or uninhabitable because collapsed after the fall of the
first two. Currently there is only the name of all the victims not to

destination because of the rebellion of the passengers headed for
the Capitol or the White House in Washington. The first tower to fall

days later in America there was a great confusion of news where
some say (and they claim today, but it is absolutely false) that did
not collapse because of the impact of the planes but by explosives
placed in the various 110 floors. In these three days, also the air
traffic was completely blocked. George W. Bush, at that time
president of the United States, said the reconstruction after 5,100
people dead and missing, but in the end he only managed to build a
huge pit with all the plates of the victims.
