Il presente Kit serve per l'aggiornamento dei modelli di
saldatrici TECNICA 140 prodotte con scheda primario
114208 e circuiti stampati 112909 e 115009. Il Kit, oltre ai
componenti, comprende le istruzioni scritte e
fotografiche per le modifiche. La versione di circuito
stampato in possesso è facilmente riconoscibile
attraverso il codice stampigliato nel lato saldature della
scheda. Nelle istruzioni viene contraddistinto il lato della
scheda con evidenziati i rispettivi punti su cui intervenire
con le modifiche.
Modifiche lato componenti
- Togliere il condensatore C101 (100p MKT) collocato
nelle vicinanze di U2 ( UC3845).
Sald are un cond ensa tore da 100p cera mico
direttamente tra il piedino 1 e il piedino 4 di U1
(LM358). Fermare il corpo del condensatore sul
contenitore di U1 con una goccia di silicone ( modififica
da eseguire esclusivamente su schede con codice
115009).
- Togliere il regolatore LM7812 (U3) e al suo posto
inserire LM7815.
- La resistenza R13 (820R 0,5W) posta nelle vicinanze
di U1 va sostituita con una resistenza da 2K7 0,5W.
- Interrompere nel lato componenti in prossimità del
catodo di D20 ( punto 5 nel Layout ) la pista che
alimenta l'UC3845 (U2).

This Kit is used to update TECNICA 140 model welders
produced with primary board 114208 and printed circuit
boards 112909 and 115009.
The Kit includes components as well as the written
instructions and photographs showing the modifications
required. The version of PCB currently in use can be
easily identified from the code stamped on the welding
side of the board. The instructions identify the side of the
board and highlight the respective points where
modifications are to be made.
Modifications on the component side
- Remove the capacitor C101 (100p MKT) situated near
U2 (UC3845).
Weld a 100p ceramic capacitor directly between pin 1
and pin 4 of U1 (LM358). Secure the capacitor body to
the case of U1 with a drop of silicone (this modification
is to be carried out exclusively on boards with the code
115009).
- Remove the regulator LM7812 (U3) and insert
LM7815 in its place.
- The resistor R13 (820R 0.5W) situated near U1 should
be replaced with a resistor 2K7 0,5W.
- On the component side near the D20 cathode (point 5
on the Layout), interrupt the track feeding UC3845
(U2).

Modifiche lato saldature
- Montare una resistenza di valore 10K 5W in parallelo
alla resistenza R42 e una in parallelo alla resistenza
R43.
- Nel lato saldature interrompere la pista che collega
R13 con C10 ( punto 4 nel Layout ) in prossimità di
quest'ultimo.
- Collegare tramite un filetto il catodo di D20 alla
resistenza R13 lato C10 ( punto 1 con punto 2 nel
Layout ).
- Comporre una serie di tre diodi 1N4148, collegare
l'anodo della serie al catodo di D 20 ( punto 2 nel
Layout ) e il catodo della serie al piedino 7 di UC3845
(punto 3 nel Layout).
- Collegare un diodo MUR860 in parallelo a R8, l'anodo
del diodo va saldato sul terminale della resistenza in
comune a C4 (punto 7 nel Layout), il catodo invece va
saldato sull'emettitore di Q2 (punto 6 nel Layout).
- Collegare un diodo MUR860 in parallelo a R41,
l'anodo del diodo va saldato sul collettore di Q9 (punto
9 nel Layout), il catodo invece va saldato sul terminale
della resistenza comune a C23 (punto 8 nel Layout).
I due diodi MUR860 vanno montati verticalmente
allargando leggermente i reofori, e fermati con una
goccia di silicone tra il contenitore del diodo e la
scheda.
Attenzione: ove previsto fissaggio con silicone,
usare solamente siliconi a reticolazione ossimica o
neutra. Sono da escludere siliconi di tipo acrilico o
acetico.
Modifications on the welding side
- Mount a resistor size 10K 5W in parallel with resistor
R42 and one in parallel with resistor R43.
- On the welding side interrupt the track connecting R13
with C10 (point 4 on the Layout) near the latter.
- With a fine wire connect the cathode D20 to the
resistor R13 on the C10 side (point 1 with point 2 on the
Layout).
- Make a series of three diodes 1N4148, connect the
anode of the series to the cathode of D 20 (point 2 on
the Layout) and the cathode of the series to pin 7 of
UC3845 (point 3 on the Layout).
- Connect a MUR860 diode in parallel with R8, the
anode of the diode should be welded to the terminal of
the common resistor at C4 (point 7 on the Layout), the
cathode instead should be welded to the emitter of Q2
(point 6 on the Layout).
- Connect a MUR860 diode in parallel with R41, the
anode of the diode should be welded to the collector of
Q9 (point 9 on the Layout), the cathode instead should
be welded to the terminal of the common resistor at
C23 (point 8 on the Layout).
The two diodes MUR860 should be mounted
vertically, widening the rheofores slightly, and fixed
with a drop of silicone between the case and the board.
Warning: where silicone is to be used for fixing, use
only neutral or oxymic reticulation silicones. Acrylic
or acetic type silicones should not be used.
