19 anni) e riscontrarono una frequenza di infortunio del 5.2%
dei partecipanti (il 93% degli infortuni risultò lieve o
moderato); l’incidenza aumentava con l’età e le femmine si
infortunavano molto più spesso dei maschi.

l’incidenza di infortuni nei giovani calciatori (12-18 anni) è di
3.7 infortuni per 1000 ore giocate e che il 70% è localizzato
agli arti inferiori (ginocchio 26% e caviglia 23%), mentre il
mal di schiena è presente nel 14% dei giocatori; gli Autori
concludevano affermando che “il calcio giovanile è uno sport
a rischio relativamente basso.
