A ballad is a poem or a song that tells a story in short stanzas, it can talk
about a romantic story, a comedy, the story of a hero, or even tragic
events. Ballads are divided in three parts: Beginning, Middle and End.
Each verse or stand of the poem usually has four lines, and the rhyming
pattern is often in the form ABCB. Sometimes these poems were
accompanied by music, like songs in our days, so they contain refrain, or
repeated chorus.

Sono stanco dalla caccia e gradirei sdraiarmi.
