Nel Settembre del 1945, a vent’anni, Dante Nesti ha cominciato a fare il

sapone in casa sua con una piccola caldaia da 50 litri. Nel 1947 la sua iniziativa era diventata una solida azienda iscritta
alla Camera di Commercio di Firenze. Oggi il Saponificio Nesti, con caldaie da 70.000 e 120.000 litri, è uno dei maggiori
stabilimenti europei per la produzione di sapone con il metodo classico in caldaia ed è fieramente diretta dal figlio
Roberto che, con l’aiuto della sua famiglia, da quarant’anni si impegna in una continua ricerca dell’equilibrio tra inno-
vazione e tradizione.

DANTE NESTI, founder of our company. In September 1945, at the age of twenty, Dante Nesti started making soap in
his own home with a small 50- litre cauldron. By 1947 his operation had become a reliable firm registered with the
Florence Chamber of Commerce. Today the Nesti Soap Works, with its 70,000 and 120,000-litre cauldrons, is one of the
major plants in Europe for the production of soap by the classical cauldron method. The factory management is proudly
directed by the son Roberto and his wife that, since 40 years with the help of his family had pursued a balance between
innovation and tradition.

Nel contesto sostenibile Nesti Dante è un esempio
concreto e reale che non si limita a monitorare il
proprio impatto ambientale ma lo fa davvero, con
cambiamenti all’interno della propria produzione:
Per migliorare l’efficienza energetica dal 2018
vengono in aiuto sia l’introduzione di pannelli solari
che l’ammodernamento dei sistemi di illuminazione
con l’introduzione dell’illuminazione LED.
Per la preparazione dei saponi utilizziamo solo vapore.
Zero emissioni di CO2.
L’attenzione per la salvaguardia e il rispetto dell’ambiente
avviene attraverso l’approvvigionamento sostenibile
delle materie prime, la tutela ambientale e la lotta alla
corruzione e agli illeciti.
Grazie ad uno speciale sistema di pompaggio e filtri
altamente tecnologici recuperiamo l’acqua delle caldaie
e la riutilizziamo, abbattendo lo spreco idrico.
Non abbiamo scarti. I ritagli di sapone, tramite uno
sistema di nastri trasportatori, tornano in caldaia per
essere di nuovo cotti e lavorati. Il packaging è plastic
free.
Nesti Dante è un’azienda ad impatto ambientale zero,
insignita già nel 2012 del premio GREEN COSMOPROF.
I Saponi Nesti Dante sono prodotti green ed
ecologicamente sostenibili.
Ma non è tutto. L’impegno per la sostenibilità lo
