ITALY è un prodotto pensato per tutti che si distingue per
l'alta qualità, l'efficienza e l'eleganza, certificato e garantito
per competere con sanitari a basso costo e di scarsa qualità.
La sua caratteristica è soprattutto l'universalità, in quanto
abbinabile a qualsiasi lavabo Catalano. La famiglia è composta
da tre coppie di wc e bidet: sospesi, terra monolitici e terra Eco,
tutti con smalto antibatterico Cataglaze®+ e coprivasi
antibatterici; i wc inoltre, integrano il sistema di scarico a vortice
brevettato Newflush®. Nel progetto ITALY è stato fondamentale
il principio di tutelare l’occupazione incrementando con 20
nuovi posti di lavoro la linea produttiva.

ITALY collection is designed for a wide range of users; its high
quality, elegant design and certified performance are the
strengths to compete with similar products in the same market
segment, but often imported from low-labor countries and
with poor quality. Suitable for all Catalano washbasins, Italy
collection is made up of wall-hung, monolithic floor-mounted
and ECO floor-mounted WCs and bidets, all treated with
Cataglaze®+ treatment and equipped with antibacterial
toilet seats. ITALY items also featuring the Catalano’s patented
vortex flushing system Newflush®. With ITALY project,
Catalano succeeded in the achievement of the objective
of strengthening employment, with 20 workers involved
in this production line only.

5 Esclusivo sistema di recupero del calore
Exclusive heat recovery system
È stato realizzato un esclusivo sistema di recupero del calore, che ha migliorato
le performance ambientali portando ad una diminuzione dei consumi di gas
e di energia nelle fasi di cottura ed essiccazione.
An original and exclusive heat recovery system was designed to further improve
the protection of the environment, which led to a considerable decrease
in energy during firing and drying phases.

6 Nuovi impianti fotovoltaici

New photovoltaic systems
La messa a regime degli impianti fotovoltaici, ha permesso un fondamentale
risparmio di energia quantificabile in circa 1 milione di kWatt l’anno.
The implementation of our photovoltaic systems has allowed for fundamental
energy savings of about 1 million kW a year.

7 Riciclo totale degli scarti ceramici

Total recycling of ceramic waste
È stato recentemente realizzato un nuovo impianto, ad alta efficienza
energetica, capace di riciclare al 100% gli scarti di lavorazione,
già di per sé derivati dalla lavorazione di materie prime naturali.
The new innovative recycling plant, which is highly energy-efficient, is able
to recycle 100% of the processing waste of industrial procedures derived
from the processing of natural raw materials.

8 Impianto di depurazione
Water purification plant
L’ingegnerizzazione dei processi ha reso più efficienti i sistemi di trattamento
delle acque ottenendo una notevole riduzione dell’utilizzo di prodotti
per la depurazione.
The water treatment plants have been made more efficient through continuous
research applied to process engineering, achieving a significant reduction in
the use of purification products.

È un potenziamento dello smalto Cataglaze che, oltre a ridurre il deposito
di calcare facilitando la pulizia dei sanitari ceramici, svolge una potente
azione antimicrobica in grado di contrastare germi e batteri.
It is an improvement of Cataglaze glazing system; besides being more
resistant to limescale and therefore easier to clean, it has a powerful
antimicrobial action able to kill germs and bacteria.
