Istruzioni “GNO”

Corpo A: Unire insieme le due parti del modello e trasferirlo su tessuto doppio, cucire sul segno lungo il tratto 1-2.
Rifilare, rivoltare al diritto. Imbottire bene il cono ottenuto, versare all’interno dei sassolini per dare stabilità.
Cucire una filza intorno all’apertura, tirare il filo arricciando il tessuto e fermare il punto.
Trasferire il modello della base su felt, tagliare sul segno ed incollarla sotto il corpo per chiudere l’apertura.
Trasferire il modello del viso sulla carta per appliquè, stirare sul tessuto, ritagliare sul segno e fissarla sul corpo come da foto.
Corpo B: Trasferire il modello B1 e B2 sui rispettivi tessuti e tagliare lasciando un margine di cucitura.
Posizionare le due parti con tessuto diritto contro diritto e cucirle insieme lungo la linea di attaccatura della tesa del cappello.
Rifilare, doppiare e cucire lungo il tratto 1-2. Procedere come fatto per il corpo A.
Barba e naso: Trasferire i modelli della barba su carta appliquè, ritagliare i pezzi lasciando un margine.
Stirare sul tessuto, ritagliare i pezzi sul segno. Togliere la carta, stirare sul felt.
Ritagliare i pezzi lasciando un piccolo bordo di felt grigio. Trasferire il modello del naso sul tessuto in maglia, cucire una filza intorno.
Posizionare al centro un poco di imbottitura, tirare il filo e fermare il punto. Finire di imbottire bene il naso.
Cappello: Trasferire il modello della tesa su tessuto doppio e batting, cucire sul segno.
Rifilare, rivoltare al diritto, chiudere l’apertura e stirare.
Assemblaggio:
Posizionare ed incollare le due parti della barba sul corpo, poi il naso. Fissare dei ciuffi di corda ai lati del viso e sopra il naso.
Posizionare la tesa del cappello sul corpo, fermare con alcuni spilli poi cucire con punti nascosti.
Applicare il nastro intorno al cappello e cucire la pallina di felt sulla sommità.
Truccare e rifinire come da foto… GNO è pronto. La creazione finita è alta 25 cm.

Instructions of “GNO”
Body A: Join and glue together the two parts of model, trace on fabric, sew on the sign on the section 1-2. Trim, turn right sides out.
Stuff firmly, insert small stones to give stability. Sew running stich around the opening, pull thread to curl the fabric, stop point.
Trace the model of base on felt, cut on the sign, glue to bottom body and close the opening.
Trace the model of face onto paper applique, iron on the fabric, cut on the sign then place and iron onto body (see picture).
Body B: Trace the model B1 and B2 on fabric, cut with leave a seam allowance.
Place the parts right sides together, sew together on the hat brim line. Trim and fold right sides together, sew section 1-2.
Proceed as done for body-A.
Beard and nose: Trace the model of beard on paper applique, cut the piece with leaving small margin.
Iron on the fabric and cut on the sign. Remove the paper then iron on grey felt.
Cut the piece near the fabric edge leaving a small edge of grey felt.
Trace the model of nose on knitting fabric, cut on the sign. Sew running stitch around the edge.
Place some padding on the nose, pull thread and stop point. Finish to stuff firmly the nose.
Hat: Trace the model of hat brim on double fabric and batting, sew on the sign. Trim, turn right sides out, close the opening then iron.
Assembly:
Place and glue two parts of beard onto body, then the nose. Place and sew a tuft of jute rope to face sides and over the nose.
Place the hat brim onto body, before stop with pins then sew with hidden points.
Glue jute ribbon around the hat and sew felt ball on the top.
Make-up and finished as picture … GNO is ready.The finish craft is tall 9.90 inch.

Please read all instrucions, including those on pattern pieces, before beginning.
Trace the pattern onto heavy paper to make a template then cut out.
Trace the template onto wrong side of fabric with vanish pencil.
Sew directly on trace lines then cut seam allowances ¼”.
For few pieces is possible the seam allowance will be included in the pattern pieces, is written on the piece.
Clip all seam fabric around the piece, specially in curves and inside corners
Trim batting and warm near seam.
Clip a slit in the pieces through one layer only then turn right sides out ½¾¾½
Half line or fold double fabric as marked ¾ • ¾ • ¾
