Istruzioni “Ginger and Roll”

Leggere tutte le istruzioni prima di iniziare il lavoro. Il modello non comprende i margini di cucitura.
I tessuti utilizzati sono in cotone americano se non diversamente specificato nella lista dei materiali.
Truccare con fard, ombretti o colori acrilici.

e per aver scritto che il vostro lavoro è stato cucito con un modello di “Il Mondo delle Nuvole”.

Ginger: trasferire i modelli della testa, braccia, gambe e corpo su tessuto doppio, cucire sul segno. Rifilare poi rivoltare al diritto. imbottire la testa,
braccia e gambe e chiudere le aperture. Imbottire il corpo, versando all’interno anche dei sassolini per dare maggiore stabilità.
Cucire una filza intorno all’apertura, tirare il filo rivoltando un poco all’interno il tessuto e fermare il punto.
Ritagliare il modello della base su cartoncino e ricoprirlo con il tessuto, fissarlo alla base del corpo con alcuni punti o colla a caldo.
Cucire il naso e posizionarlo sulla testa prima con alcuni spilli per trovare la giusta posizione dove dipingere o ricamare la bocca.
Dipingere gli occhi. Posizionare le braccia e le gambe al corpo, fissare con alcuni punti.
Trasferire il modello del colletto su tessuto doppio, cucire sul segno, rifilare e rivoltare al diritto.
Inserire ed incollare uno stecchino di legno prima alla base della testa e poi nel corpo, posizionare il colletto.
Rifinire con la “glassa” applicando la serpentina bianca, oppure dipingere con colore acrilico bianco o usare pasta neve.
La mia finitura è fatta con l’uncinetto, facendo un primo giro di catenelle ed un secondo giro di due punti bassi per ogni catenella.
E’ necessario fare un campione di prova perché a seconda della mano e del filato il risultato finale è diverso.

Roll: piegare e cucire sulla lunghezza le due strisce di tessuto (tagliate in sbieco).
Posizionare la cucitura nel mezzo (vedi foto) e cucire un’estremità del tubolare. Rivoltare al diritto ed imbottire.
Posizionare i tubolari uno sopra l’altro con la cucitura verso l’interno (vedi foto).
Avvolgere fermando con gli spilli. Chiudere prima il tubolare marrone e poi quello crema fermando con alcuni punti (vedi foto).
Togliere gli spilli e fermare con alcuni punti di colla a caldo fra i due tubolari.
Rifinite con la serpentina bianca o fatta all’uncinetto come spiegato per il ginger.
Trasferire il modello delle foglie A/B su tessuto doppio, cucire sul segno. Rifilare, rivoltare al diritto e cucire la piega segnata sul modello.
Posizionare e cucire o incollare le foglie con le palline di feltro sul roll.
Truccare e rifinire come da foto… Ginger and Roll sono pronti. Le creazioni finite sono alte: Ginger 23 cm e Roll 18 cm.

Read all instructions, including those on pattern pieces, before beginning.
The fabric used is American cotton unless otherwise specified in the list of materials.
Sew directly on trace lines then cut seam allowance ¼ - Make up with blush, eyeshadow or acrylic colors.
The finished creations can be sold, PLEASE add note that are made with the pattern of “Il Mondo delle Nuvole”.

Ginger: trace the patterns of head, arms, legs and body on double fabric, sew on the line. Trim and turn right sides out.
Stuff the head arms and legs, close the openings. Stuff the body with pour inside also small stones to give right stability, then sew running stitch
around the opening. Gather and turn inwards the fabric, stop point.
Cut out the pattern of the base on the cardboard,covered with fabric then sew or glue at the bottom of the body.
Sew and stuff the nose, then place on the head before with some pins to find right position to embroider or paint the mouth.
Place and sew the legs and the arms to the body.
Trace the pattern of the collar on double fabric, sew on the line, trim, turn right sides out. Insert wooden stick and glue before at the head base and
then into the body, wear the collar. Finishing whipped with white ric-rac, or paint with acrylic color or snow pasta.
My finishing is made with the crochet hook, making a first round of chain stitches and a second round of two single crochet for each chain stitch.
You need to make a gauge because the final result is different depending on the hand and the yarn used.

Roll: fold and sew on the length the two stripes (cut on the bias). Place the seam in the middle (see picture) then sew one end of the tubular.
Turn right sides out and stuff. Place the tubulars on top of each other with the seam inwards (see picture). Wrap with stop before with pins.
Stitch closet before the brown tubular and then the cream tubular (see picture).Remove the pins and glue some points between the tubulars.
Finish with white ric-rac or whipped as explained for ginger.
Trace the patterns of the leaves A/B on double fabric, sew on the line. Trim, turn right sides then sew the pins as mark on the pattern.
Place and glue or sew the leaves with red felt ball on the top of the roll.
Make-up and finished as picture … Ginger and Roll are ready. The finish crafts are tall Ginger 9.10 inch and Roll 7.10 inch.
