testate dall’Istituto INVALSI nella nuova Prova Ministeriale di Inglese.
Le attività sono in linea con le competenze e le abilità previste dalle
Indicazioni nazionali per il curricolo e, di conseguenza, al livello A1 del
QCER, il Quadro comune europeo di riferimento per la conoscenza delle
lingue al termine della scuola primaria.

Seguendo gli esempi ufficiali forniti dall’Istituto INVALSI, tutti gli esercizi
hanno le caratteristiche della nuova Prova Ministeriale di Inglese per
permettere ai bambini di familiarizzare con la struttura della prova che dovran-
no svolgere.
La prova INVALSI d’inglese per la 5a primaria si compone infatti di due parti:
● comprensione della lettura (reading);

● comprensione dell’ascolto (listening).

Le caratteristiche principali della prova INVALSI sono:


● durata: 30 minuti per la lettura e 30 minuti per l’ascolto con una breve pausa

(10-15 minuti) tra le due parti;


● 3-4 compiti (task) di lettura e 3-4 compiti di ascolto;

● ogni task è formato da un testo della lunghezza massima di 110 parole e da

un brano audio di massimo 2 minuti con domande di comprensione, sem-


pre accompagnati da immagini e da un esempio. Inoltre, la registrazione del
brano può essere ascoltata 2 volte (You can hear the recording twice). All’inizio
il bambino ha 20 secondi per leggere il task (compito), guardare le immagini
e leggere le domande. Poi, alla fine, dopo aver ascoltato una seconda volta,
ha 20 secondi per completare le risposte che non ha colto al primo ascolto.
