Here are 3 tips to help you get your mic placement right:
1.Listen - You cannot just whack up a mic and expect it'll be good. Put
your head in the possible positions for your mic and listen to the
instrument and room blend in these positions. Place the mic where it
sounds closest to the tone you're aiming for.
2.Experiment - Try different positions and compare them before deciding
where to place your mic.
3.Test - Record a bit of the performance and listen back in your mixing
position. Adjust if needed and record another test run.

frequency range in the studio is usually narrower as you'll often cut everything below
30 Hz and rarely use too much above 16 kHz
1. taglia sotto 80/120
2. alza da 1 a 6 db con shelf intorno 8 k , possibile anche un pleo tra 12 e 16k
3. con una campana esalta e identifica le frequenze brutte, e tagliale un po (tra
800 e 1 k di solito, sono nasali)
4. se voglio più ciarao aumenta tra 2 r 5 k
5. se non sta bene nel mix, specie nelle parti più basse, taglia un po tra 100 e 250
hz
