La concezione innovativa e le caratteristiche di tenuta di questa
nuova linea di giunti giustificano il brevetto ottenuto dalla nostra
Azienda. Le guarnizioni vengono bloccate internamente al giunto
stesso per mezzo di un anello che si inserisce perfettamente in una
opportuna scanalatura della guarnizione. Questo assicura non
solo una eccezionale tenuta di pressione, ma anche un eccellente
effetto autocentrante dellintero giunto sulla superficie del tubo in
fase di montaggio. Questultima caratteristica molto importante
nelle situazioni reali, nelle quali disallineamenti dei tubi,
ovalizzazioni e condizioni critiche di montaggio sono la regola
piuttosto che leccezione. I giunti WideSize consentono un
collegamento perfetto e rapido tra tubazioni di qualsiasi materiale
ed aventi sino a 50 mm di differenza tra i diametri esterni. Con
solamente 11 modelli si possono coprire tutti i diametri esterni delle
tubazioni fra 50 mm e 325 mm.
I giunti LargeSize consentono un collegamento perfetto e rapido
tra tubazioni di qualsiasi materiale ed aventi sino a 30 mm di
differenza tra i diametri esterni. Questa nuova gamma di prodotti
non solo estremamente pratica e competitiva ma anche realmente
innovativa.
DESCRIPTION:
The innovative design and seal characteristics of this new line of
couplings justify the patent obtained by our company.
The gaskets are tightened in a specific groove in the rubber,
thereby guaranteeing not only exceptional pressure seal but also
excellent self-centring of the entire coupling on the surface of the
pipe in the assembly phase.
This latter characteristic is very important in situations in which
misalignment of the pipes, ovalization and critical assembly
conditions are the rule rather than the exception.
The WideSize couplings guarantee perfect, fast jointing of pipes
made of any type of material and with a difference of up to 50 mm
in outer diameter.
With only 11 models, it is possible to cover the entire range of pipe
with outer diameters between 26 mm and 325 mm.
The LargeSize couplings guarantee perfect, fast jointing of pipes
made of any type of material and with a difference of up to 30 mm
in outer diameter.
This new range of products is not only extremely practical and
competitive but also truly innovative.

La famiglia di prodotti Nova Siria si arricchisce di un importante ed

innovativo modello: il MULTIGRIP.
Questa tipologia produttiva rappresenta un ulteriore passo in avanti
nella tecnologia di collegamento di tubazioni che necessitano di un
bloccaggio antisfilamento.
La tecnica di produzione del giunto permette da un lato di soddisfare
le sempre pi pressanti esigenze economiche del cliente e dallaltro
migliora le performances della gamma PIPE LOCKING gi presente
nel programma produttivo dellazienda.
Lampia tolleranza di 30 millimetri, luso di materiali di primordine, la
separazione fra chiusura meccanica e chiusura idraulica, la flessibilit
produttiva adattata alle specifiche esigenze del cliente, la possibilit
di utilizzo su tubi di materiale diverso (PE, Ghisa, Acciaio), lassenza
di faticosi interventi di preparazione delle tubazioni sono tutte
caratteristiche che coinvolgono lintera produzione Nova Siria e che nel
Multigrip trovano la loro naturale e migliore espressione.
Come sempre la Nova Siria si concentrata sulle situazioni pi critiche
e difficili da gestire: i diametri di notevole dimensione. Il Multigrip
quindi un prodotto riservato ai diametri superiori a 288 mm fino ad
arrivare al diametro 1000 con la possibilit di variare numerose
componenti e gestire singolarmente le esigenze di istallazione del prodotto.
Attualmente il Multigrip si propone in tre versioni:
Multigrip con bullone unico per il collegamento di tubazioni diverse
(diritto e di riduzione);
Multigrip con bulloni separati per il collegamento di tubazioni diverse
(diritto e di riduzione);
Multigrip flangiato per il collegamento di tubazioni con elementi
flangiati.

restraint mechanical coupling technology.
The production technique of the MULTIGRIPS makes them technically
more advanced and at the same time more economical than the
previous existing Pipe Locking range.

GIUNTI PER RELINING

Giunto di collegamento con sistema di bloccaggio meccanico antisfilamento Pipe Locking System a
tasselli dentati radiali per condotte riabilitate con inserti in polietilene. I giunti NOVAGRIP, grazie
alla combinazione del canotto di rinforzo e del set di tasselli dentati radiali, garantiscono il miglior
collegamento tra una condotta risanata e le altre attrezzature, o fra sezioni diverse di una stessa
condotta riabilitata con liners polimerici di sottile spessore.
Il bloccaggio meccanico antisfilamento del liner polimerico, necessario per evitare movimenti allinterno
della condotta, realizzato mediante il serraggio del set di tasselli dentati radiali. La doppia guarnizione,
una sulla condotta principale ed una sul liner polimerico, garantisce la tenuta idraulica, sia allinterno che

NOVAGRIP is an innovative connection technology between rehabilitating polyethylene liner ends. When
existing pipeline rehabilitation is realized with a thin-walled plastic pipe, a combination of a reinforcing
liner ring and a NOVAGRIP style set of grippers provide the best way to connect the rehabilitated
pipeline and other equipment or between sections of rehabilitated pipeline. A tailor-made set of grippers
ensure that the rehabilitating liner is restrained so as to avoid its movement inside the main pipe.
A double gasket one on the liner and one on the host pipe ensure the total water-tightness both
inside and outside thus preventing any fluid getting in between the host pipe and its plastic liner.

SMART JOINT installation instructions:
Please read the following instructions before installation.
Note: it is not necessary to dismantle the SMART JOINTS before installation.
1. Clean the pipe ends in the area where gaskets will seat.
2. Position the coupling on spigot ends and slide it onto the pipe.
3. Centre the coupling with respect to each spigot end.
4. Lock the bolts in a criss-cross fashion keeping the followers parallel to one another so as to
ensure a correct compression of the gasket.
5. Test the recommended torque after pressure has been given to the pipeline.
Recommended torque: M12 bolts: 40 N/m.
Maximum angular deection: 4 on each side.
Maximum working Temperature: 70 C.
THESE PRODUCTS DO NOT RESTRAIN AXIAL PIPE MOVEMENT.
In order to do so the PIPE LOCKING (with end restraints) styles are required.
These products have to be installed according to NOVA SIRIA installation instructions.

convoglianti acqua in ACCIAIO, GHISA, PE e

Tale tipologia di rivestimento termoplastico

has been developed after years of
experience in installations of standard style
Multisize/Largesize couplings and provides
an easy, fast and safe connection of pipes
made of STEEL, CAST AND DUCTILE IRON,
PE (polyethylene) and PVC with differend
outside diameters and plain or flanged ends
used to convey water.
As all the Nova Siria production range, these
SMART JOINT PIPE-LOCKING couplings are
coated with Rilsan Nylon 11.
This type of thermoplastic coating guarantees
a considerable force of adhesion to metal
surfaces, limited absorbtion of humidity,
good resistance to weather conditions, high
resistance to heat, considerable absorbtion
of vibrations and does not require additional
protection during
installation such as heat-shrink linings,
protection tapes or bitumen linings.

3) Centrare il bordo del giunto su ogni estremit delle condotte.
5) Serrare i tasselli antislamento

Il nuovo giunto SMART, sia nella versione normale

che in quella flangiata, presenta un bordo di contenimento
nella angia di compressione. Tale accorgimento
progettuale garantisce, nella fase di montaggio e
chiusura, un perfetto centraggio del giunto rispetto
alla tubazione e una uniforme pressione delle ange
di compressione sulla guarnizione.
All SMART JOINTS have a gasket restraining
shoulder in the compression followers. This simple
device ensures an effective centring of the gasket
on the pipe surface and a uniform pressure of the
followers on the gaskets.
