INTRODUZIONE
GearTronic ZERO è l'unico indicatore di marcia al mondo con connessione alla presa diagnosi e display LCD a 6 colorazioni selezionabili. GearTronic ZERO non
necessita di alcuna installazione in quanto si collega alla presa diagnostica della vostra moto, rendendo l'installazione immediata e semplice, priva di possibilità di
errore.

N.B: Nei modelli Honda la marcia viene rilevata calcolando il rapporto tra velocità e giri motore in quanto non è presente un sensore di posizione sul
cambio, il dispositivo quindi non visualizzerà le marce a veicolo fermo ma solo durante la normale andatura a frizione completamente rilasciata.

N.B: Tutti i prodotti PZRacing sono resistenti all'acqua ma non impermeabili, non lavare il prodotto con lancia ad acqua in pressione, il prodotto potrebbe
danneggiarsi irreparabilmente.

INSTALLAZIONE

Individuare il connettore della diagnosi di colore rosso a 4 poli nella propria moto, normalmente si trova vicina alla centralina ECU, fare riferimento alla seguente
lista per individuare il connettore:

XL125V (2007/11): vicino alla ECU CBR600F (2011): fianchetto destro

CB600F (2007/11) : fianchetto destra sottosella CBR600RR (2003/11) : sotto la sella NT700V (2006/11): fianchetto destro
XL700V (2008/11): fianchetto sinistro XL1000V (2003/11): sotto la sella CB1000R (2008/11) : fianchetto destro
CBR1000RR (2004/05) : fianchetto sinistro CBR1000RR (2006/11) : sotto la sella VFR800 (2006/11) : sotto pannello superiore destro
CROSSRUNNER (2011): sotto la sella VFR1200 (2009/11): sotto la sella VT1300 (2010/11): sotto la sella

Rimuovere il cappuccio del connettore e connettere il GearTronic ZERO alla presa diagnosi.
Fissare il cavo per tutta la sua lunghezza, per facilitare la stesura del cavo ed il passaggio dello stesso insieme ai cablaggi originali della moto è stato inserito uno
spinotto a circa 45cm dal modulo display. Fissare il display con l'apposito velcro plastico nelle vicinanze del cruscotto in un punto ben visibile.

OGNI MODELLO DI GEARTRONIC ZERO E' IDENTIFICATO DA DUE SIGLE PRESENTI SUI DUE CONNETTORI LUNGO IL CABLAGGIO, SI
RACCOMANDA DI NON ACCOPPIARE CONNETTORI CON SIGLE DIFFERENTI, QUESTO DANNEGGIEREBBE IRREPARABILMENTE IL
PRODOTTO.

FUNZIONAMENTO
GearTronic ZERO necessita di una prima programmazione per il funzionamento. Eseguire la fase di calibrazione dello strumento sul cavalletto postriore oppure
direttamente in strada.

Setup

1) Accendere il quadro strumenti ed il veicolo in folle.

2) Entrare nella modalità di setup portando il filo bianco a “massa” ovvero in un punto non verniciato del telaio. E' possibile entrare nella modalità di calibrazione
solo entro 10 secondi dall'accensione.
3) Togliere il filo bianco da “massa” quando compare una delle lettere corrispondenti al colore (A:Rosso, B: Verde, C:Blu, D:Arancio, E:Viola, F:Azzurro).
4) Scegliere il colore desiderato portando il filo bianco a “massa” durante la visualizzazione del colore scelto fino alla visualizzazione del numero “1” lampeggiante.
5) Togliere il filo bianco da massa, inserire la prima marcia e proseguire a regime di motore costante.
6) Dopo circa cinque secondi comparirà il numero 2 lampeggiante, inserire la seconda marcia e proseguire a regime di motore costante.
7) Proseguire in questo modo per tutte le 6 marce della vostra moto.
8) GearTronic ZERO visualizzerà due cerchi alternati in alto ed in basso del display ad indicare che la calibrazione è andata a buon fine.
9) GearTronic ZERO passerà alla visualizzazione della marcia, isolare il filo bianco.

Nel caso in cui si voglia ripetere la fase di setup basterà ripetere la procedura descritta finora.
E' possibile cambiare il colore in qualsiasi momento. Nel caso in cui si voglia cambiare colore al dispositivo senza dover rifare il setup delle marce, ripetere la fase di
calibrazione fino al punto 4 dopodichè spegnere il quadro strumenti.
Nel caso in cui alcune marce non vengano riconosciute in modo corretto, ripetere la calibrazione mantenendo il motore ad un regime di giri più elevato.

INTRODUCTION
GearTronic ZERO is the only gear indicator in the world with diagnostic cable connection and LCD display with 6 colors background. GearTronic ZERO doesn't need
any installation, it must be connected directly to the diagnostic connector of your bike, making installation quick and easy, with no way of error.

IMPORTANT: GearTronic ZERO for Honda models identifies the gear by calculating the ratio between speed and engine revs because these motorbike
don't have a gear position sensor. The device therefore displays the gears when the vehicle is running with the clutch released.

IMPORTANT: All PZRacing products are water resistant but not waterproof, do not wash the product under water jet pressure, the product could be
irreparably damaged.

INSTALLATION
Find the red 4 pole diagnostic connector on your bike, normally you can find it near the electronic central unit ECU, read the list below to find the connector:

XL125V (2007/11): next to ECU CBR600F (2011): right side pannel

CB600F (2007/11) : fianchetto destra sottosella CBR600RR (2003/11) : under seat NT700V (2006/11): right side pannel
XL700V (2008/11): left side pannel XL1000V (2003/11): under seat CB1000R (2008/11) : right side pannel
CBR1000RR (2004/05) : left side pannel CBR1000RR (2006/11) : under seat VFR800 (2006/11) : under upper left pannel
CROSSRUNNER (2011): under seat VFR1200 (2009/11): under seat VT1300 (2010/11): under seat

Remove the cap and connect the GearTronic ZERO to the diagnostic connector.
Fix the cable along its lenght, for an easier installation we have included a plug between the diagnostic connector and the display.
Fix the display with the plastic velcro inside the box.

EVERY GEARTRONIC ZERO MODEL IS IDENTIFIABLE BY TWO INITIALS ON THE TWO CONNECTORS ALONG THE WIRING, WE
RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT PAIR CONNECTORS WHICH HAVE DIFFERENT INITIALS, TO DO SO WOULD RESULT IN IRREPARABLE
DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT.

USAGE
GearTronic ZERO needs to be programmed before use. Make the setting procedure on the rear stand or directly in a long street.

Setup:

1) Turn on the vehicle and the engine in “Neutral”.

2) Enter into “calibration” mode into 10 seconds, taking the white wire to “ground” or rather to a non painted point of the vehicle frame. You may enter calibration
mode only in the first 10 seconds after turning on.
3) Remove white wire from “ground” when one of the letters appear in the display (A:Red, B:Green, C:Bleu, D:Orange, E:Violet, F:Light Bleu)
4) Choose the color taking the white wire to “ground” during visualization of the color choosen till number “1” is shown in the display.
5) Remove white wire from “ground”, put into first gear and keep the RPM above idle speed.
6) After five seconds a flashing number 2 will appear, put into second gear and continue to keep the RPM above idle speed.
7) Continue in this way with the six gears of your bike.
8) GearTronic ZERO display two circles in the top and the bottom of the display as a confirmation if the calibration is succesful.
9) GearTronic ZERO display now the correct gear, isolate the white wire.

If for any reason you wish to repeat the set up phase just repeat the above procedures.
You can change the color every time you need. To change background color repeat only the first 4 points of the calibration mode and the switch off the GearTronic
ZERO.
Where some gear are not recognized correctly, repeat the calibration keeping the engine at an rpm higher.
