1. AVVERTENZE PRELIMINARI
- uso improprio dell’attrezzatura in pressione;
- modifiche all’attrezzatura in pressione;
- inadempimento alle vigenti norme di sicurezza ed antinfortunistiche;
- non osservanza di quanto contenuto nel presente libretto di istruzioni;
1. GENERAL INFORMATIONS
• Keep the present instruction manual in safe c ondition and in a place within ea sy distanc e for the operators.
• The present manual doesn't exempt from safety and ac c ident-prevention laws in force.
• Guglielmi Danilo Srl C ompany d ec lines any responsibility in case of:
- incorrect use of the equipment when in pressure;

- non-fulfilment of safety and accident-prevention laws in force;
- non-complianc e with the enc lose installation instruction;
• The DP clogging indica tor is an instrument which is suitable for surveying the pressure droops in high and/ or low pressure
environment. Partic ularly, it may be employed for surveying the c logging degree of the c artridge filters installed on red ucing an
metering ga s stations. The functioning principle is ba sed on the survey of the differential-pressure with a membrane equippe d wi
a contrast spring. It is equipped w ith an entrainment index hand which is able to supply the utmost value of the differential-
pressure which took plac e
• Ma in fea tures:
- two c olours dial with indica tion o f the p ressure droop s field be yond the 75% of the full sc ale
- dial graduated both in mbar and p.s.d.i.
- max working pressure up to 100 bar
- suitable for being installed outside with a -20°C to 60°C room tempe rature
- acc urac y ±20% of the full scale
- maximum index hand that may be zeroed manually from o utside
- calibration is not required
-- the structure is able to bear full inlet pressure by one side of the membrane
it may be coupled to a manifold equipped with three incorporated valves that allows:
q connect the DP to two environments of which it is necessary to survey the differential-pressure without any
pass between them
q intercept the connections between the two environments under pressure in case of maintenance or
substitution of the DP (it is not necessary to dep ressurize the filter)
q put the environments under pressure in by-pass in order to inspect the zero setting of the DP
- it is also a vailable a version(DP/RM) with an incorporated proximity magnetic sensor for telemetering the signal of
maximum differential-pressure eq ual to the 75% of the full scale. This version is made unde r intrinsic safety according
with the rules in force and req uired the installation of a ba rrier in a safe area . The ma ximum distanc e between the
clogging indicator and the ba rrier must be of 100 m.
2. INSTALLATION
• After unpacking, inspect the equipment's integrity when in pressure; if you ha ve a ny doubt about its integrity, do not use the
equipment and ask information to trained personnel.
• C hec k that the gas pipe is impurity or slag free .
• In case of outdoor installation, protect the equipment when in pressure by accidental impacts.
3. SETTING IN SERVICE
• Setting must be done by skilled personnel.

• Do not subject the equipment when in pressure to cyclical loads, both steady and unsteady.
5. USER'S MAITENANC E AND C ONTROLS
• Do no t carry out c leanings with unsuitable mechanical systems, as drills or high pressure jets.
• Do not ope n the equipment when in pressure.
• Gas is po tentially co rrosive; before use analyse its c omp osition and verify its comp atibility with materials used in the manufac ture
• The gas within the equipment is highly inflammab le; do not ca use any kind of flame trigger.

Direttiva Europea 94/9/CE (ATEX) (EN 50020 : 2002 , art. 5.4)
Al sensore magnetico cod. 10916 è stata assegnata la classe di temperatura T6 (EN 50020 : 2002
art.
sostanze dei gruppi IIA , IIB e IIC / is a simple apparatus , for use in intrinsically safe systems ,
according to the European standard EN50020 : 2002 art. 5.4 a) . The apparatus doesn’t contain
potential source of ignition capable of causing an explosion , therefore it’s out of the scope of the
European Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX) (EN50020 : 2002 art. 5.4) .
The magnetic sensor cod.10916 has been allocated a T6 temperature classification , for groups
IIA, IIB and IIC applications , in intrinsically safe systems with level of protection “ia”
with the provisions detailed into art 1 3a) of the directive 94/9/CE of 23rd March 1994 and in the
clause 4.1.2 of the ATEX guidelines, these products are not within scope of directive itself as they
are not capable of causing an explosion through their own potential sources of ignition when they
are used in the assemblies complying the above standards; therefore they can be installed into all
types of zones as detailed in the directive 1999/92/EC of 16 December 1999.
IMPORTANT : before installing the magnetic sensor cod.10916 , read carefully the
attached instruction sheet .
