L’efficienza del prodotto è il frutto di una buona ed attenta manutenzione; almeno annualmen-
te verificare lo stato di efficienza dell’impianto, provvedendo alla immediata sostituzione degli
organi soggetti ad usura nel caso si rilevassero perdite o trafilamenti sia in condotta che verso
l’esterno delle valvole.
Le operazioni di manutenzione devono essere effettuate da personale autorizzato ed adegua-
tamente formato.
RICORDARE SEMPRE CHE
Prima di effettuare manutenzione alle valvole assicurarsi sempre che la conduttura non sia in
pressione. Se la conduttura trasporta fluidi pericolosi o aggressivi effettuare sempre le operazioni
di lavaggio delle tubazioni come previsto dal costruttore dell’impianto; utilizzare idonei mezzi di
protezione personale prima di procedere all’apertura delle connessioni valvola-tubatura. I Pro-
dotti evolvono e si modificano col tempo, ordinare ed utilizzare solo ricambi originali (vedi spe-
cifico foglio istruzioni allegato al prodotto); citare sempre, all’ordinazione delle parti di ricambio,
il codice prodotto e la data di produzione stampigliata sulla valvola; riceverete ricambi montabili
sul vostro prodotto nella versione più recente possibile. Per ogni dubbio applicativo o di manu-
tenzione siete invitati a rivolgervi allo staff tecnico OMAL, è nostro dovere ed interesse garantire
e mantere nel tempo la perfetta efficienza del nostro prodotto.
INSTALLAZIONE
Si raccomenda l'impiego di opportuni mezzi di presa e sollevamento per evitare rischi per la
sicurezza delle persone e danni al prodotto. Se la valvola è attuata non utilizzare l'attuatore per la
presa ed il sollevamento del prodotto.
Nell’iter di valutazione dei rischi in osservanza alla direttiva 97/23 EC (PED) non è stato possibile,
per questo prodotto, eseguire una analisi esaustiva dei rischi dipendenti da sollecitazioni indotte
da traffico, vento, terremoti ecc. ecc. in quanto ogni valutazione è strettamente legata al tipo
di applicazione ed al tipo di impianto sul quale la valvola viene impiegata. Si demanda pertan-
to all’utilizzatore dell’impianto di eseguire detta analisi, ove necessario, unitamente a quella
da eseguirsi per l’impianto stesso. L’installazione delle valvole a farfalla OMAL è estremamente
semplice e di facile esecuzione; l’osservanza di poche semplici regole garantiranno un ottimo
funzionamento del prodotto in esercizio.
- Non cercare mai di forzare la valvola all’interno di flange non sufficientemente distanti da consen-
tirne il libero passaggio; possono irrimediabilmente venire danneggiate le zone di tenuta sulle flange.
- All’inserimento delle valvole tra le flange, ed al successivo loro serraggio, il disco otturatore
va tenuto in posizione leggermente aperta, senza per altro operare in modo che il disco stesso
fuoriesca dallo scartamento valvola.
- Sostenere la farfalla mediante l’ausilio di due tiranti che , passando dai fori sulle flange e at-
traverso le asole sul corpo valvola consentono un primo grossolano centraggio tra le flange.
Serrare leggermente 4 tiranti ( tra loro contrapposti) sino ad ottenere un leggero fissaggio della
valvola, provvedere all’accurato centraggio del corpo valvola rispetto alle flange delle tubazioni (
un errore di ± 1 mm per il DN 50 e proporzionalmente ± 5 mm sul DN 300 sono più che tollerabili).
Serrare i 4 tiranti sino a bloccare saldamente la valvola, provvedere alla completa apertura della
farfalla, indi montare e serrare tutti gli altri bulloni previsti dalla flangiatura. La valvola non è par-
ticolarmente sensibile alle coppie di serraggio dei bulloni flange, attenersi pertanto alle coppie di
serraggio flange previste dalla rispettiva normativa , anche in funzione del materiale con il quale i
tiranti stessi sono realizzati. Per qualsivoglia chiarimento o informazione inerente l’impiego delle
nostre valvole non esitate a contattare il nostro servizio tecnico di assistenza post-vendita.
Qualora le valvole siano di fine linea occorre prevedere idonee protezioni al fine di evitare rischi
per la sicurezza derivanti dal contatto accidentale con gli elementi in movimento.
MANUTENZIONE PRODOTTO
- Sfilare con un punzone le spine elastiche (9) o nel caso di misure superiori al DN 300 le flange
di contenimento degli alberi
- Sfilare gli alberi superiore (5) e inferiore (6). Nelle misure superiori al DN 300 l’albero inferiorie
non è prevalente e può essere sfilato con l’ausilio di un bullone M16
- Sfilare il disco (4).L’operazione è facilitate se il disco è ruotato di 15° rispetto alla posizione di chiusura.
- Sfilare la tenuta principale (3) notando che nella zona flange presenta due diversi diametri; chia-
ramente deve essere sfilata applicando la spinta sul diametro minore. L’impiego di una pressetta
idraulica con diametro del disco di spinta maggiore di 15 mm rispetto al DN valvola è consigliato.
- Verificare che siano usciti con la tenuta principale anche gli o-ring (2), in caso contrario toglierli
dal corpo valvola.
- Le boccole (1) normalmente non vengono sostituite durante la manutenzione. Se necessario
rimuoverle e sostituirle.
- Posizionare gli o-ring (2) nelle apposite sedi sulla tenuta principale dopo averli accuratamente in-
grassati.
- Infilare la tenuta principale nel corpo valvola allineando al meglio possibile i fori di passaggio
alberi con i relativi fori nel corpo.
- Inserire il disco (4) allineando al meglio possibile i fori di passaggio alberi con i relativi fori nella
guarnizione. Mantenere il disco ruotato di 15°.
- Riposizionare gli alberi nelle relative sedi, sino a porre la gola del perno allo stesso livello del
foro delle spine (solo fino al DN 300) Durante l’inserimento si può verificare una leggera resisten-
za dovuta al non perfetto allineamento dei componenti; forzare moderatamente l’inserimento
degli alberi; se necessario verificare nuovamente l’allineamento dei componenti. Prestare atten-
zione alla scanalatura sulla testa dell’albero superiore che deve essere concorde con la posizione
della farfalla. Inserire le spine o montare le flange di contenimento alberi.
- Eseguire sempre un collaudo di tenuta della valvola prima di rimettere in servizio l’impianto.
STOCCAGGIO
NON CONSERVARE LE VALVOLE IN AMBIENTI CON TEMPERATURE
INF. O SUP. ALLE TEMPERATURE DI FUNZIONAMENTO INDICATE.
Non ingrassare le valvole con alcun prodotto senza prima averne accuratamente verificato la
compatibilità con i materiali costitutivi della valvola.Proteggere le tenute dalla luce solare ( alcune
tenute sono soggette ad invecchiamento da raggi UV).
Proteggere le valvole dalla polvere e dalla sporcizia in genere. Dopo lungo stoccaggio verificare
accuratamente l’integrità e l’efficienza del prodotto prima di procedere alla sua installazione.sino
ad un minimo di -25°C.
Le valvole della serie 375 376 377 385 386 387 (corpo in ghisa sferoidale A356 ) sono state
dimensionate e testate per operare in continuo
tra: -25°C e +250°C dal DN 40 al DN 300
-25°C e +150°C dal DN 350 al DN 600
mantenendo invariato il valore di PS(RT) per l’intero campo di temperature previsto.
Elastomeri della tenuta principale
Le temperature ambiente massime e minime di impiego citate nel
paragrafo debbono venire comparate e modificate in funzione delle
temperature massime lavoro tipiche degli elastomeri di tenuta.
Nel dettaglio si noti che:
NBR : Campo di temperatura di impiego continuo - 23°C + 82°C
Picchi di temperatura brevi e transitori - 23°C + 100°C
EPDM : Campo di temperatura di impiego continuo - 40°C + 135°C
Picchi di temperatura brevi e transitori -50°C + 150°C
FKM : Campo di temperatura di impiego continuo - 10°C + 190°C
Picchi di temperatura brevi e transitori - 30°C + 250°C
ATTENZIONE, le temperature di funzionamento degli elastomeri
sono da intendersi come temperature indicative con fluidi inerti;
anche lievi sensibilità chimiche degli elastomeri rispetto ai fluidi intercettati possono ridurre dra-
sticamente il campo di temperature di impiego.
- Tempo di manovra: è funzione del tipo di azionamento posto sulla valvola, riferirsi alle istruzioni
dell’attuatore installato. L’interfaccia tra valvola ed attuatore è conforme alla ISO 5211
- Corsa valvola: la valvola normalmente a nuovo compie una corsa da 0° ( valvola completamen-
te aperta ) a 87 –88 ° posizione nella quale trova la condizione di tenuta alle pressioni nominali.
Regolare la corsa attuatore entro questi parametri consente l’impiego di coppie di azionamento
contenute ed una possibile regolazione, incrementando la corsa sino a 90°, di recupero dell’usu-
ra guarnizione, aumentando notevolmente efficienza e vita del prodotto. Per la regolazione della
corsa di attuatori elettrici e pneumatici riferirsi alla specifica documentazione.
- Azionamento a leva: Le valvole dotate di leva devono essere installate in modo che, guar-
dando la leva dall’alto, la chiusura della valvola avvenga ruotando la leva in senso ORARIO e la
sua apertura
in senso antiorario. A valvola chiusa la leva deve posizionarsi sulla normale rispetto alla condotta,
a valvola aperta la leva deve risultare parallela alla condotta. Le leve possono essere fermate ( e
volendo anche lucchettate) in 10 posizioni angolarmente equi- distribuite nell’arco corsa valvola.
I materiali costitutivi della valvola sono debitamente indicati sulla targhetta posta su ogni singolo
prodotto.
I dati e le caratteristiche riportati in questo manuale potrebbero essere variati a scopo di
miglioramento tecnico anche senza preavviso e, pertanto, non sono vincolanti ai fini della fornitura.
MAINTENANCE BUTTERFLY VALVE: SERIES

The efficiency of a product depends on how well and carefully it is serviced. Please check the
efficiency of the installation at least once a year and replace all parts subject to wear if you detect
any leak either in the pipeline or towards the outside of the valve.
The product maintenance should alwais be performed by trained and qualified personnel
ALWAYS REMEMBER:
to make sure there is no pressure in the pipeline, before servicing a valve. If a dangerous or aggres-
sive fluid flows through the pipeline, always wash the pipeline as suggested by the manufacturer.
Always wear suitable protections while you open the connections between valve and pipeline.
As products change and evolve in time, please order and use original spare parts only (as per
specific instructions accompanying each product). When you place an order, always mention the
product code and the production date stamped on the valve and you will get the latest possible
version of the spare part you need. If you have any doubt, please contact OMAL technical staff
who will help you keep the product as efficient as possible.
INSTALLATION
We recommend the use of appropriate means of grip and lift to avoid risks to the safety of persons
and damage to the product. If the valve is already mounted with actuator, do not use the actuator
for handling and moving the valve.
No special measures required for the movement of butterfly valves in sizes smaller (DN ≥ 200). For
the range of DN 250 we recommend the use of appropriate means of grip and lift (neck valve) to
avoid risk to the safety of persons.
While carrying out the risk assessment for this kind of product as per 97/23 EC (PED), it was
impossible to fully evaluate the risks related to traffic, wind, earthquakes etc as every evaluation
was strictly related to the type of application and installation. The owner of the plant will have to
carry out this evaluation, where necessary, along with the risk assesment for the plant itself. OMAL
butterfly valves are very easy to install and if you follow some basic installation procedures, the
product will perform at its best.
- Never try to force a valve between flanges which are not open enough to allow the insertion of
the valve as you might seriously damage the sealing areas on the flanges
- While you insert the valve between the flanges and you subsequently block them, the disc must
be kept in an half-open position without exceeding the valve edges
- Support the butterfly by means of two tie-rods which, going through the holes on the flanges and
the slots on the valve body, will allow a first generic centring between the flanges. Slightly close the
4 tie-rods (opposite to one another) until the valve is slightly fixed and then center the valve body
carefully with respect to the pipeline flanges (a mistake of +- 1mm on a DN 50 and proportionally
of +-5mm on a DN 300 is more than acceptable). Close the 4 tie-rods until the valve is
fully blocked, open the butterfly completely and then insert and close all other bolts required by
the flanges.
The valve is not particularly sensitive to the torque generated by closing the bolts on the flanges.
Please apply the torque stated in the relevant standard also considering the material the tie-rods
are made of. For further information about the use of our valves, do not hesitate to contact our
technical department and service centre.
If the valves are installed like End lne valve, appropriate protections should be provided to prevent
riskc for the safety resulting from accidental contact with moving parts.
MAINTENANCE OF PRODUCT
- remove the elastic pins (9) using a drift
- remove the upper (5) and lower (6) shafts
- remove the disc (or butterfly) (4)
- remove the main seal (3). Please note that it shows two different diameters in the flange area
and, of course, it will have to be removed making the smaller diameter go through the valve body
- make sure that the O-rings follow the main seal (2). If not, remove them from the valve body
- the O-ring (7) has no sealing function. As it simply prevents dirt from getting into the valve, repla-
ce it only if it shows evident signs of wear
- remove the two old bushings (1) and replace them with new ones
- take the spare main seal (3) and O-rings (2) out of the box
- place the O-rings (2) in their proper seats in the main seal
- put the main seal back into the valve body trying to align the shaft holes with the holes in the body
- place the butterfly back (4) with the square slot facing the main shaft. The valve needs to be
completely open
- put the shafts back in their main seats. While doing that you can experience some resistance due
to the imperfect alignment of the components. Slightly push the shafts in and, if necessary, verify
the alignment of the components again
- the valve will be properly re-assembled if, looking through the eleastic pin holes (9), the grooves
on the shafts are perfectly in line with the holes on the valve body
- always test the valve tightness before setting the plant back into motion
STORAGE
NEVER STORE ANY VALVE AT TEMPERATURES LOWER OR HIGHER THAN THE NORMAL
WORKING TEMPERATURES INDICATED
Do not lubricate the valve with any product without first checking that product compatibility with
the valve material. Protect the seals from sun light (UV rays cause seal aging) Protect the valves
from dust and dirt in general. Before installing a valve which has been in storage for a long time,
make sure it is efficient and well preserved dal cast iron body) are designed and tested for a con-
tinuous use at temperatures between:
– 25 °C and +250 °C fro DN 40 to DN 300
– 25 °C and +150 °C fro DN 300 to DN 600
keeping the PN value unchanged throughout the whole range of temperatures.
Elastomers in the main seal
The maximum and minimum working temperatures mentioned above need to be adjusted to the
maximum working temperatures typical of the elastomers in the main seal. Please note that:
NBR temperature range for a continuous use: between –20°C and +82°C short and occasional
temperature peaks: between –23°C and +120°C
EPDM temperature range for a continuous use: between – 40°C and +135°C short and occasional
temperature peaks: between – 50°C and +170°C FKM temperature range for a continuous use:
between – 10°C and +190°C short and occasional temperature peaks: between – 30°C and +250°C
WARNING
Elastomer working temperatures are to be considered as approximate temperatures with inert
fluids. A slight chemical sensitivity of the elastomers to the intercepted fluids can dramatically
reduce the working temperature range.
- Cycle time: it depends on the operating device put on the valve.
Please read the instructions about the installed actuator. The interface between valve and actuator
complies with ISO 5211
- Valve travel: the travel of a new valve normally goes from 0∞ (completely open valve) to 87-88∞
position where it is tight at nominal pressures. Setting the actuator travel within these parameters
makes it possible to use reduced the operating torque and minimize the seal wear thus dramatical-
ly increasing the efficiency and the life of the product. Please refer to the specific documentation
about travel setting in electric and pneumatic actuators.
- Handle-operated: if a valve is provided with a handle, the handle will have to be assembled in
such a way that, viewed from above, it will have to be turned clockwise to close the valve and
counterclockwise to open it. With a closed valve, the handle needs to be in its normal position with
respect to the pipeline while with an open valve it needs to be parallel to the pipeline. The handle
needs to be stopped (and even locked) in ten different positions angularly equidistant from one
another all along the valve travel. A label positioned on each product will show the valve materials.
The data and characteristics reported in this manual could undergo changes due to technical
improvements without any advice. Therefore, they are not binding as far as the supply is concerned.
MANTENIMIENTO DE LA VÁLVULA MARIPOSA: SERIE
375-376-377 - 385-386-387
La eficacia del producto es el resultado de un buen mantenimiento; al menos una vez al año se
debe comprobar el estado de la eficacia de la instalación, que prevé la sustitución inmediata de
las piezas desgastadas en caso de pérdida o fuga tanto en los conductos como fuera de las
válvulas.
Las operaciones de mantenimiento deben ser realizadas por personal autorizado y debidamente
capacitado.
RECUERDE SIEMPRE QUE
Antes de realizarle el mantenimiento a las válvulas, asegúrese siempre que el conducto no esté
bajo presión. Si la tubería transporta líquidos peligrosos o agresivos, efectúe siempre el lavado de
las tuberías como fue sugerido por el fabricante; use el equipo de protección personal adecuado
cuando abra la conexión entre válvula- tubería. Los productos evolucionan y cambian con el
tiempo, pida y utilice sólo recambios originales (véanse las instrucciones específicas incluidas en
el producto); haga siempre referencia, al efectuar un pedido, al código del producto y la fecha
de fabricación estampada en la válvula; recibirá la última versión posible de su producto. Si tiene
alguna duda póngase en contacto con el personal técnico de OMAL, es nuestro deber e interés
asegurar y mantener la perfecta eficiencia de nuestro producto.
INSTALACIÓN
Se recomienda el uso de las herramientas adecuadas de manipulación y levantamiento con el fin de
evitar riesgos en la seguridad de personas y daños en el producto. Si la válvula ha sido montada,
no utilice el actuador para el enchufe y levantamiento del producto.
Durante el proceso de evaluación de riesgos, de acuerdo con el cumplimiento de la Directiva 97/23
CE (PED), no ha sido posible, para este producto, realizar un análisis exhaustivo de los riesgos
que tienen que ver con la tensión inducida por el tráfico, el viento, terremotos, etc. ya que cada
evaluación está estrechamente vinculada al tipo de aplicación e instalación en el que la válvula se
encuentra conectada. Por lo tanto, se deja al usuario de la instalación como responsable de realizar
éste análisis de la válvula cuando fuera necesario, al igual que el de la instalación. La instalación
de válvulas de mariposa OMAL es extremadamente simple y fácil de realizar; el cumplimiento de
algunas reglas sencillas le asegurará un óptimo funcionamiento del producto.
- No trate de forzar la válvula entre las bridas que no estén lo suficientemente distantes para permitir
el libre paso; podría dañar sin remedio las zonas de sellado de las bridas.
- Mientras se coloca la válvula entre las bridas y se ajusta, el disco debe mantenerse en una
posición ligeramente abierta, sin sobrepasar los bordes de la válvula.
- Sostenga la mariposa con la ayuda de dos barras tirantes que, pasando a través de los agujeros
de las bridas y las ranuras en el cuerpo de la válvula, permite un primer balance general entre las
bridas. Apriete ligeramente los 4 barras tirantes (opuestas entre sí) hasta obtener un primer encaje
de la válvula, y entonces centre el cuerpo de la válvula respecto a las bridas de las tuberías (un
error de ± 1 mm para el DN 50 y proporcionalmente a ± 5 mm en el DN 300 es aceptable). Apriete
las 4 barras tirantes hasta que la válvula se haya bloqueado, proceda a la apertura de la mariposa,
luego monte y apriete todos los tornillos requeridos por las bridas. La válvula no es particularmente
sensible a la torsión generada por los tornillos de las bridas, por lo tanto, siga el endurecimiento del
par de bridas previstas por la legislación pertinente, considerando también el material del que están
hechas las propias barras tirantes. Para cualquier aclaración o información inherente a la utilización
de nuestras válvulas no dude en contactar con nuestro servicio al cliente post-venta.
En caso de que las válvulas sean de fin de línea, debe abastecerse de las protecciones adecuadas
para evitar los riesgos de seguridad causados por el contacto accidental con partes móviles.
MANTENIMIENTO DEL PRODUCTO
- Retire con la ayuda de un punzón los pasadores elásticos (9) o, en caso de medidas superiores
a DN 300, con bridas de contención de ejes.
- Retire los ejes superiores (5) e inferiores (6). En medidas superiores a DN 300 el eje inferior es
menos frecuente y se puede retirar con la ayuda de un tornillo M16.
- Saque el disco(4). La operación se facilita si el disco está girado 15° respecto a la posición de cierre.
- Retire el sello principal (3) tenga en cuenta que la zona de las bridas presenta dos diámetros
diferentes; por supuesto debe ser sacada presionando el diámetro menor. Se aconseja el uso
de una presa de tornillo hidráulico con un diámetro de empuje mayor a 15 mm en comparación
con la válvula de DN.
- Asegúrese que hayan salido con el sello principal también las juntas tóricas (2), de lo contrario
retírelas del cuerpo de la válvula.
- Los casquillos (1) normalmente no son reemplazados durante el mantenimiento rutinario. Si
fuera necesario, retírelos y reemplácelos.
- Colocar las juntas tóricas (2) en los lugares apropiados del sello principal después de que estén
bien engrasados.
- Ponga el sello principal en el cuerpo de la válvula alineando lo mejor posible los orificios de
paso con los orificios del cuerpo.
- Introduzca el disco (4) alineando lo mejor posible los orificios de paso con los de la junta de
estanqueidad. Sostenga el disco girado 15 °.
- Vuelva a colocar los ejes en sus ubicaciones correspondientes, hasta poner el perno al
mismo nivel del orificio de los pasadores (sólo hasta DN 300). Durante la inserción se puede
experimentar una ligera resistencia debida a la alineación imperfecta de los componentes; fuerce
moderadamente la inserción de los ejes; si fuera necesario volver a comprobar la alineación de los
componentes. Preste atención a que la ranura en la cabeza del eje superior sea concordante a la
posición de la mariposa. Introduzca los pasadores o monte las bridas de contención.
- Haga siempre una prueba del sellado de la válvula antes de poner en marcha la instalación.
ALMACENAMIENTO
NO GUARDE LAS VÁLVULAS EN ZONAS CON DE TEMPERATURA
INF. O SUP. A LA TEMPERATURA DE FUNCIONAMIENTO INDICADA.
No lubrique las válvulas con cualquier producto sin antes haber comprobado con cuidado la
compatibilidad con los materiales constitutivos de la válvula. Proteja los sellos de la luz solar
(algunos sellos están sujetos a envejecimiento por la acción de los rayos UV).
Proteja la válvula del polvo y la suciedad en general. Después de un largo almacenamiento
compruebe cuidadosamente la integridad y eficiencia del producto antes de su instalación hasta
un mínimo de -25 ° C.
Las válvulas de la serie 375 376 377 385 386 387 (cuerpo en fundición dúctil A356) han sido
diseñadas y probadas para funcionar de forma continua entre:
-25 ° C a +250 ° C de DN 40 a DN 300
-25 ° C a +150 ° C de DN 350 a DN 600
manteniendo el valor de PS (RT) sin cambios para todo el rango de temperaturas.
Elastómeros del sello principal
Las temperaturas de máximas y mínimas de trabajo anteriormente mencionadas deben ser
comparadas y modificadas en función de las temperaturas máximas de trabajo típicas de los
elastómeros de sujeción.
En concreto, tenga en cuenta que:
NBR: rango de temperatura de uso continuo - 23 ° C + 82 ° C

ATENCIÓN, las temperaturas de funcionamiento de los elastómeros se deben entender como
temperaturas indicativas con fluidos inertes;
Incluso una ligera sensibilidad química de los elastómeros hacia fluidos interceptados puede
reducir drásticamente el rango de temperaturas de uso.
- Tiempo de funcionamiento: depende del tipo de dispositivo de funcionamiento puesto en la
válvula, consulte las instrucciones del actuador instalado. La interfaz entre la válvula y el actuador
se ajusta a la norma ISO 5211.
- Recorrido de la válvula: una válvula nueva normalmente tiene una trayectoria de 0 ° (válvula
totalmente abierta) a 87 – 88 º posición en la cual se encuentra la presión normal. Regular el
recorrido del actuador dentro de estos parámetros hace posible la regulación, aumentando la
trayectoria de hasta 90 ° y minimizando el desgaste en la junta de estanqueidad y aumentando la
eficiencia y la vida útil del producto. Para el ajuste del recorrido de temperatura de los actuadores
eléctricos consulte la documentación específica.
- Palanca de funcionamiento: Las válvulas equipadas con palanca deben ser instaladas de manera
que, mirando la palanca desde arriba, el cierre de la válvula se realice girando la palanca en sentido
HORARIO y su apertura en sentido anti horario. Con la válvula cerrada, la palanca se debe colocar
en su estado normal de posición respecto a la tubería, con la válvula abierta la palanca debe
situarse paralela a la tubería. Las palancas pueden ser detenidas (o incluso bloqueadas) en 10
posiciones equidistribuidas en el recorrido de la válvula.
Los materiales constituyentes de la válvula están correctamente señalizados mediante una etiqueta
en cada uno de los productos.
Los datos y especificaciones expuestos en este manual pueden ser modificados en cualquier
momento sin previo aviso por la mejora técnica y, por tanto, no son vinculantes con la instalación.

Die Effizienz und Zuverlässigkeit eines Produktes hängt davon ab, wie gut und sorgfältig es

an den Schnittstellen unserer Armatur erkennen.
Die Wartung der Armatur darf Ausschließlich von qualifizierten und geschulten Mitarbeitern/
Personal durchgeführt werden.
Bitte Beachten:
Gewährleisten Sie unter allen Umständen dass die Rohrleitung drucklos ist vor sie mit der
Wartung der Armatur beginnen. Führt die Rohrleitung gefährliche oder aggressive Medien, diese
zuvor nach Vorgaben des Herstellers reinigen und spülen. Tragen Sie bei allen Wartungs- und
Prüfarbeiten entsprechende und vorgeschrieben Schutzkleidung.
Da unsere Produkte ständig weiter Entwickelt werden, Bestellen Sie und Verwenden sie
ausschließlich originale Ersatzteile (entsprechend der spezifischen beigelegten Wartungsanleitung
bzw. Ersatzteilliste).
Bei jeder Bestellung von Ersatzteilen bitte immer den Produkt Schlüssel und das Produktionsdatum
angeben, welches auf der Armatur unverlierbar angebracht ist, um Sicher zu stellen dass Sie
immer das aktuelle und passende Ersatzteil erhalten.

Wir Empfehlen die Verwendung von Qualitätswerk- und Hebezeugen um die Sicherheit Ihrer
Mitarbeiter zu Sichern als auch eine Beschädigung unserer Produkte zu Vermeiden.
Verwenden Sie niemals schadhaftes oder beschädigtes Werkzeug.
Bei bereits montierten Antrieben, Verwenden Sie niemals den Antrieb oder dessen Komponenten
als Hebevorrichtung oder Positioniereinrichtung für die Armatur!
Für Armaturen <= DN 200 sind in der Regel keine speziellen Hebezeuge Erforderlich. Für
Armaturen DN250 und darüber empfehlen wir entsprechendes Werkzeug / Hebezeug um die
Sicherheit der Mitarbeiter zu Gewährleisten.
Während der Risikobewertung für diese Art von Produkten nach 97/23 EG (PED), war es
unmöglich, alle Risiken vollständig im Zusammenhang mit Verkehr, Wind, Erdbeben usw. zu
bewerten, da sich jede Auswertung strikt nach Art der Anwendung und Installation richtet.
Der Betreiber muss über die Anlage und Anwendung selbst eine Risikobewertung durchführen.
OMAL Klappen sind sehr einfach zu installieren und wenn Sie einige grundlegende
Installationsanweisungen befolgen, wird das Produkt seine optimale Leistung und Lebensdauer
erfüllen.
Wenden Sie niemals Gewalt an um die Absperrklappen zwischen 2 Flansche zu pressen – falls die
Einbaulänge ungenügend ist – da sie ansonsten die Gummierung und Flanschdichtung zerstören
– Verwenden Sie gegebenenfalls ein entsprechendes Pass- und Ausbaustück.
Beim Einbau der Absperrklappe zwischen die Flansche muss diese teilweise geöffnet sein ohne
dass die Klappenscheibe über deren Baulänge hinaus ragt.
- Um die Absperrklappe Einzubauen sichern sie diese zunächst über Gewindebolzen welche über
die Rohrleitungsflansche durch die beiden Augen links und rechts des Halses der Absperrklappe
gesteckt werden. Dies erlaubt eine erste Zentrierung der Absperrklappe. Nach Montage aller
Schrauben und Bolzen diese über Kreuz von Hand anlegen, danach die Absperrklappe Zentrieren
und Ausrichten. Anschließend die Absperrklappe ganz Öffnen. Im Anschluss alle Schrauben und
Bolzen über Kreuz mit dem erforderlichen und vorgegebenen Drehmoment, bezogen auf die
Festigkeit und Größe der Schrauben bzw. der Einschraubtiefe im Gehäuse der Absperrklappe.
Weitergehende Informationen und Unterstützung sind bei unserer Technik bzw. Unserem Service
Centre erhältlich.
Werden unsere Absperrklappen als End-Armaturen eingesetzt ist ein Schutz Vorzusehen um eine
Einklemmen zwischen Klappenscheibe und Gummierung zu Vermeiden.
Produkt Wartung
Hohlspannstifte (9) mit Durchschlag entfernen
Obere (5) und Untere (6) Welle heraus ziehen
Klappenscheibe (4) seitlich entnehmen
Gummierung (3) entnehmen.
Achtung: die Gummierung hat 2 unterschiedliche Durchmesser um die Einbaulage eindeutig zu
definieren – daher darauf achten diese in Richtung des größeren Durchmesser heraus zu nehmen
um eine Beschädigung zu Vermeiden.
- Achten Sie darauf dass die O-Ringe (2) mit der Gummierung entnommen warden –
gegebenenfalls separat entnehmen.
- Der O-Ring (7) hat keine Dichtfunktion nach Außen sondern dient dazu ein Eindringen von
Schmutz von Außen nach Innen zu Verhindern.
- Beide Lagerbuchsen (1) Austauschen – durch neue Ersetzen.
- Gummierung (3) und O-Ringe (2) bereit legen
- O-Ringe (2) in die Aussparungen drücken
- Gummierung in das Gehäuse drücken – darauf achten dass die Durchführungen für
die Wellenzapfen ausgerichtet sind!
- Klappenscheibe (4) in “offen” Stellung einsetzen.
- Beide Wellenzapfen (5 + 6) Eindrücken wobei eine gewisse Kraft erforderlich ist um die
Teile gegeneinander Auszurichten. Gegebenenfalls die Gummierung etwas
Nachrichten!
- Die Absperrklappe ist richtig montiert wenn die beiden Hohlspannstifte (9) sauber in
den Aussparungen der beiden Wellenzapfen sitzen.
- Vor Inbetriebnahme der Absperrklappe diese auf Dichtigkeit und Funktion Überprüfen.
Lagerung:
Eine Armatur NIEMALS außerhalb der beschriebenen Temperatur Einsatzbedingungen Lagern.
Niemals eine Armatur mit einem nicht geprüften Fett oder Schmiermittel behandeln.
Armatur vor UV-Strahlung schützen (Vorzeitige Alterung der Elastomere)
Armatur vor Staub und Schmutz schützen
Vor Verwendung einer Lagerarmatur diese immer auf Funktionsfähigkeit und Zustand prüfen.
Gusseisen Armaturen sind generell zur dauernden Verwendung in einem Temperatur-Bereich
geeignet und geprüft:
- DN 40 bis DN 300; -25° C bis +250 °C und
- DN 300 bis DN 600; -25° C bis +150 °C ohne Einschränkung der Druckstufe (es gelten
natürlich immer die Temperaturbeständigkeiten der verwendeten Gummierung)
Gummierungen/Auskleidungen.
Die oben genannten maximalen und minimalen Betriebstemperaturen müssen entsprechend
den maximalen und minimalen Betriebstemperaturen / Einsatzbedingungen der verwendeten
Gummierungen Angepasst werden..
Bitte Beachten:
NBR hat einen dauerfesten Betriebstemperaturbereich von - 20°C bis +82°C und
Einen kurzzeitigen Betriebstemperaturbereich von- 23°C bis +120°C
EPDM hat einen dauerfesten Betriebstemperaturbereich von - 40°C bis +135°C und
Einen kurzzeitigen Betriebstemperaturbereich von- 50°C bis +170°C

ACHTUNG:
Elastomer Betriebstemperaturen sind ca. Angaben bei Verwendung mit reaktionsarmen Medien.
Bei Verwendung mit aggressiven Medien kann sich die Temperaturbestädigkeit drastisch
reduzieren.
- Lebensdauer: Hängt von der verwendeten Antriebsart ab. Bitte lesen Sie dazu die Anleitung
des Antriebes. Die Schnittstelle zwischen Armatur und Antrieb richtet sich nach der ISO 5211.
- Drehwinkel der Armatur: Der Drehwinkel einer neuen Absperrklappe bewegt sich in der Regel
zwischen 0° und 87 - 88° (ganz offenen Armatur). In dieser Stellung ist die Armatur dicht bei
dem angegebenen PN ( Pressure Nominale). Eine Fein-Einstellung (Drehwinkelverstellung) des
Antriebes reduziert das erforderliche Drehmoment und verlängert die Lebensdauer der Armatur
erheblich. Bitte beachten Sie die spezifische Dokumentation zur Einstellung von elektrischen und
pneumatischen Antrieben.
- Handbetätigung: im Falle der Ausrüstung der Armatur mit einem Handhebel, ist der Handhebel
so montiert dass dieser, von Oben mit Blick auf die Armatur betrachtet, die Armatur bei
Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn „schließt“ und bei Betätigung gegen den Uhrzeigersinn „öffnet“. Der
Handhebel wird immer so Positioniert dass dieser die Stellung der Klappenscheibe zeigt um eine
Verwechslung der Armaturenstellung auszuschließen – bei geöffneter Absperrklappe zeigt der
Handhebel in Längsrichtung der Rohrleitung. Der Handhebel rastet in 10 verschiedenen Stellung
auf der Rasterscheibe ein (Verdrehsicherung) und kann auch abgeschlossen werden (Schloss ist
Optional). Die verwendeten Materialen sind auf einem Label unverlierbar Dokumentiert.
Alle Daten und Beschreibungen dieser Anleitung unterliegen Änderungen durch technische
Weiterentwicklung ohne Ankündigung und sind daher nicht Bindend. Verwenden Sie daher immer
