La versione ADI prevede un montaggio dell'accoppiatore separato
dal motore primo che può comunque essere diesel o elettrico.
Ogni accoppiatore sia in versione ADI che CS presenta una
foratura laterale da utilizzarsi appunto nel caso di un montaggio
separato, per permettere il fissaggio del gruppo a due staffe di
supporto opportunamente sagomate.
La trasmissione del moto, anche in questo caso, deve avvenire
tramite giunti aventi due caratteristiche essenziali:
– non devono indurre carichi radiali o assiali sull'albero in ingresso
dell'accoppiatore
– devono essere in grado di assorbire le vibrazioni torsionali
eventualmente presenti.
The ADI version is for use when the prime mover (I.C. engine,
electric motor or any other) is mounted independently of the gear
unit. Both ADI and CS versions have pads on each side to facilitate
mounting using correctly designed brackets.
In all cases, the gear unit must be connected to the prime mover by
means of a coupling which has the following characteristics:
– no radial or axial loads are induced on to the gear unit input shaft
– any torsional vibrations created by the prime mover and/or
pumps must be adequately damped out.
