Objectives of the course:


● To provide deeperunderstanding of vectors and matrices through demonstrating
applications of linear algebra.
● To familiarize the student withorthogonality and determinants.

Course outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, the student shall be able to
CO1: Use algebraic skills essential for the study of matrices and Gaussian eliminations.
CO2: Get in depth knowledge of vector spaces with its applications.
CO3: Understand orthogonality and various projections.
CO4: Understand theproperties and applications of determinants.
CO5:Get the numerical skills for computation of Eigen values and Eigen vectors.
CO6: Know positive definite metrices.
