01: A Chorus line - Opening (Strumentale)

I ballerini iniziano a ballare ma fanno irruzione i cantanti, ballando

goffamente. Quando Alice urla “Five, Six, Seven Eight” Stefano
entra in scena scocciato.

Stefano: Allora ragazzi, ve l’ho già detto! Siamo già d’accordo con
l’organizzazione, è una manifestazione di danza, noi non dobbiamo
ballare, sennò gli facciamo fare brutta figura. Li perdoni, signorina,
eh.

Tutti prendono posto al microfono.

Stefano: Eh. Ecco. Buonasera. Noi siamo la compagnia Tweet

Charity, e questa sera siamo qui per un viaggio nel mondo del
musical.

Luca/Mauro inizia a cantare Il tempo delle Cattedrali di Notre Dame

de Paris.

Stefano: No, quello NON è un musical. E’ Notre Dame De Paris, ed

è un’opera popolare.

Tutti gli altri iniziano a cantare contemporaneamente canzoni da

musical famosi. Stefano li interrompe, Chiara continua a cantare.

Stefano: Insomma, ragazzi! Andiamo per ordine. Nel mondo del

teatro musicale ci sono diverse tipologie. Ad esempio, alcuni
vengono tratti da storie vere, come ad esempio quella di Phineas
Barnum, raccontata nel recentissimo film “The Greatest
Showman”. Questa è This is Me!

Superstar, uno degli spettacoli più intramontabili della storia. E poi
ci sono i Comedy Musical, spettacoli senza una vera e propria
morale, ma scritti esclusivamente per intrattenere il pubblico.
Come ad esempio la Piccola Bottega degli Orrori.

Stefano: Poi ci sono spettacoli più intensi, con una morale ben
definita e tendente al tragico, di quelli che alla fine ti si smoccola il

I due ballerini prendono il centro e ballano sulla musica di Cats.

Stefano: Scusate, scusate! Toccherebbe a noi, eh. Dove ero

rimasto? Ah, sì. Poi ci sono gli History Musical, che si ispirano a
momenti storici importanti. Come Les Miserables, che abbiamo
tutti visto al cinema.

Stefano: Esistono i Jukebox Musical, ovvero gli spettacoli con

canzoni famose unite tra loro. Il più famoso forse è Mamma Mia,
con le musiche degli ABBA.

Stefano: Poi alcuni show vengono considerati Teenage Musical,

ovvero che affrontano temi di adolescenza e solitamente di disagio.
Questo è il recentissimo ed acclamato Dear Evan Hansen.
