It means partisan.

3. Look up "moviola." To what does it refer?

A small device used to project and edit films.

4. What is "caff ristretto?"

A shot of espresso with half the amount of water as usual.

5. What does "finestra" mean? "malinconia"? "bandiera"

They mean window, melancholy, and flag.
