IDEA DI BASE
RIFERIMENTO E METODOLOGIA
La Guida per la Gestione dei Club ECA costruita
come un mosaico di elementi descrittivi, mescolati
con esempi, lezioni chiave e piccoli studi di caso
raccolti nel corso di una lunga serie di interviste e
visite presso squadre di club. Questo approccio
permette alla Guida di presentare il massimo
numero possibile di esempi legati allattivit reale
Le informazioni raccolte durante le visite ai club, insieme a frammenti selezionati delle interviste,
sono comprese in ogni capitolo come esempi specifici del modo in cui le squadre hanno affrontato
particolari sfide, ed evidenziano i sistemi adottati per gestire situazioni/eventi concreti.
15 squadre maschili visitate: AZ Alkmaar (NED), FC Porto (POR), FC Zurich (SWI), Ferencvarosi TC
(HUN), Gasshopper-Club Zurich (SWI), Juventus (ITA), KRC Genk (BEL), Legia Warszawa SA (POL),
Molde FK (NOR), NK Maribor (SVN), Paris Saint-Germain (FRA), PSV Eindhoven (NED) pi 3
accademie giovanili: Athletic Club (SPA), Borussia Dortmund (GER), FC Schalke 04 (GER) e 1 squadra
di calcio femminile: FFC Turbine Potsdam (GER).
Alcuni rappresentanti di lunga data delle squadre, le cui conoscenze coprono lintero ambito
trattato dalla Guida per la Gestione dei Club ECA, hanno partecipato al progetto come esperti.
Questi rappresentanti hanno sostenuto il progetto in tutte le questioni relative ai contenuti,
compresa la condivisione di esperienze e know-how, laiuto nella definizione dellindagine e delle
domande, e lesame delle bozze.

BREVE SOMMARIO
I capitoli della guida seguono da vicino il modello di struttura organizzativa indicato nelle pagine a seguire
e comprendono tre dimensioni: Tempo, Attivit ed Ambiente:
1. TEMPO
Il tempo rappresenta un fattore strategico
importante. Nel calcio, come negli affari, ci sono
tre orizzonti temporali espressi come breve
termine, medio termine e lungo termine. Questi
orizzonti sono necessari per la pianificazione
e per finalit di valutazione. Essi offrono agli
addetti alla gestione dei punti di riferimento fissi,
necessari per la definizione dellattivit operativa.
2. ATTIVIT
I club realizzano diverse attivit di base. Le tre principali
sono: sport, business e comunit. Ovviamente non
abbiamo a che fare con attivit separate, ma con
una situazione di compenetrazione ed interazione.

3. ENVIRONMENT
Lambiente un elemento importante che
contribuisce a modellare un club, conferendogli
delle specificit uniche;esso rappresenta una
fonte di opportunit per le societ che riescono
ad individuarne il vantaggio competitivo. Questo
ambiente ha sia elementi che sono specifici del
