PROCEDURA DI RIPRISTINO PC Antec MITAC 3060 WINDOWS IoT Enterprise

RESTORE PROCEDURE FOR PC Antec MITAC 3060 WINDOWS IoT Enterprise

Inserire la chiave USB con il PC spento.

Insert the USB Key when the PC is off.

Accedere nel menù di impostazione del BIOS, accendendo la macchina e tenendo

premuto il tasto CANC sulla tastiera. Compare il menù di impostazione del BIOS.
Access the BIOS setup menu, by turn on the machine and by pressing CANC Key on
the keyboard. The BIOS setup menu will appear.

1 Selezionare la cartella Boot

Select the Boot folder 2 Selezionare l’opzione Boot Option #1
Select the option Boot Option #1

4 Selezionare la cartella Save

& Exit, quindi confermare il
salvataggio della
configurazione con YES
Select Save & Exit folder,
then confirm the
3 Impostare l’opzione: configuration save by YES
USB Key:KingstonDataTraveler 3.0
Set the option:
USB Key:KingstonDataTraveler 3.0

Il Pc si riavvia, attendere la prima pagina del programma di recovery. Selezionare il

layout di tastiera US A o ITA e premere il tasto “Invio” per proseguire.
The PC restart, wait the first page of the recovery program. Select the keyboard layout USA
or ITA and press “Enter” key to proceed.

Attendere per qualche istante il caricamento dati. Premere il tasto “1” per eseguire
la procedura di recovery; Premere il tasto “1” per confermare la scelta - vedi figura sotto.
Wait for a few minuts the data loading. Press the key “1” on the keyboard to execute the
Recovery procedure; Press “1” on the keyboard to confirm the choice - see figure below

Attendere alcuni minuti il caricamento dei dati.

Wait a few minutes the data loading.

Al termine del caricamento dati il PC automaticamente si spegne. L’operazione di

ripristino è conclusa. Estrarre la chiave USB, quindi riaccendere il PC ed attendere il
completo caricamento di Windows.
At the end of the data loading the PC automatically switched off.
The Recovery procedure is completed. R emove the USB key, then Switch-on again the PC
and wait the complete Windows loading.

ATTENZIONE!: È necessario nell’opzione Boot Option#1 del menù Boot del

Bios, reimpostare HARD disk: TS32GSSD420K, in modo che se la chiavetta USB
è lasciata inserita, l’avvio normale rimane comunque da Hard Disk.
WARNING!: It is n e c e s s ar y in the option Boot Option#1 of the Bios Boot menù,
set again HARD disk: TS32GSSD420K, so that if you forget the USB key inserted,
the normal boot remains from HD

Impostazione risoluzione grafica

Setting of graphic resolution
1 Cliccare col tasto DX del mouse e selezionare Display settings
Click with the RH key of mouse and select Display settings

2 Cliccare su Advanced display settings

Click on Advanced display settings

3 Selezionare la risoluzione 1366 x 768

Select the resolution 1366 x 768

Attenzione!: Se col monitor utilizzato la risoluzione 1366 x 768 non è disponibile,

occorre crearla come segue:

create it as follow:

UWF - UNIFIED WRITE FILTER

l’ UWF è un sistema per la protezione dei dati da spegnimenti «accidentali»
Dopo aver configurato la risoluzione grafica, installato il programma ed eventuali
dispositivi accessori come stampanti etc, è necessario attivare la protezione UWF.
UWF is a data protection system against "accidentally" switched-off.
After configuring the graphics resolution, installing the program, and any accessories
such as printers etc, you must enable UWF protection.

2 Doppio click sul file batch UWF_Enable

Double click on file batch UWF_Enable

3 Riavviare il PC
Restart the PC 1 Aprire la cartella dei batch di gestione C:\_UWFbatch
Open the folder of managing files batch C:\_UWFbatch

Attenzione! è importante impostare correttamente data e ora. Per salvaguardare la saturazione della
memoria viene eseguito dal sistema un riavvio automatico se il PC è acceso ogni giorno alle ore 24:00

restarts automatically if the PC is switched on daily at 24:00
Nota: se successivamente, dopo aver attivato la protezione UWF, occorre intervenire su
funzionalità del sistema operativo (come installare programmi o nuovi driver di stampanti etc.)
è necessario prima disattivare l’ UWF; operare come segue:
‐ Doppio click sul file batch UWF_Disable  Riavviare il PC
‐ intervenire su funzionalità Windows
‐ Doppio click sul file batch UWF_Enable  Riavviare il PC
Note: If after turned on UWF security features, it is necessary to do actions on operating system
functionality (such as installing programs or new printer drivers, etc.), you must first disable the
UWF; operate as follows:
‐ Double click on batch file UWF_Disable  Restart the PC
‐ Operate on Windows functionality
‐ Double click on batch file UWF_Enable  Restart the PC

Attenzione! Solo se si copiano files sul desktop, o si aggiornano programmi con Batch che intervengono
solo su cartella C:\TMLAB (come la Patch per l’aggiornamento del SW assetto o l’aggiornamento della
banca dati) è possibile NON disabilitare l’UWF. Considerare anche di non copiare / spostare files di
dimensioni eccessive, poiché al superamento di una soglia di circa 4 GB il sistema per salvaguardare la
saturazione della memoria si riavvia automaticamente. Diversamente disabilitare SEMPRE prima l’UWF.
Warning! Only if you copy files to the desktop, or you update programs with Batches that only operates
on the C:\TMLAB folder (such as the Patch that upgrade Aligner SW or the Vehicle Database Upgrade)
you can DO NOT disable the UWF. Also consider not to copy / move excessive dimension files, since
exceeding about 4 GB threshold the system to safeguard memory saturation automatically restarts.
Otherwise disable ALWAYS before UWF.
