Il mosaico è anzitutto materia spezzata

e ridotta in piccoli elementi che creano superfici
senza soluzione di continuità, in cui il giunto,
moltiplicato e incorporato nel pattern, non divide

ma lega tra loro le tessere.
Questo è l’elemento di grande forza che M+
oggi vuole sviluppare.
Se la superficie senza soluzione di continuità
rappresenta oggi uno dei temi più importanti
nell’interior e soprattutto nell’architettura,
come possiamo lavorare nella direzione
di sviluppare questo aspetto?
Ripensando la forma-mosaico non più in modo
figurativo, come è nella tradizione, ma come
elemento di costruzione di un pattern
che amplifichi la vibrazione della materia.
Oggi la progettazione si muove in maniera
sistemica, pensando atmosfere,
relazioni tra materie M+, nelle sue divisioni
Surfaces e Mosaics, propone una gamma
di prodotti che possono facilmente essere
messi in relazione.
BONDS è la raccolta di questi accostamenti
di superfici.
