| don't see any conflict between our business model and enabling people to
do their own RACS. They stil need to be licensed and have an obligation
under the license agreement to provide us with an honest accounting of
their product shipments. If we suspect that someone is lying to us, we have
the ability to audit their books. If unicensed folks use our IP, we are
well protected with patents and must use whatever legal remedies we deem
necessary to shut them down or have them take a license from us. As the
world becomes a "Rambus World" in the early part of the 2tst century,
there's no way that we can continue to do every design that willbe
required, Now is not too early to start planning how to accomplish this.
