DI BRACIGLIANO

Pubblicizzeremo come merita la 6a edizione del Interna-

tional Music Competition “Francesco Cardaropoli” Braci-
gliano Città della Musica che parte già dalle precedenti
amministrazioni e che viene accolto favorevolmente dalla
nuova giunta. Lo sosterremo cercando di finanziarlo mag-
giormente rispetto agli anni precedenti. Un evento che
porta il nome di “Bracigliano Città della Musica” un po’ in
tutto il mondo.
Si porta avanti una tradizione non solo bandistica ma che
va sempre più perfezionandosi. Bracigliano dà i natali a
ragazzi che suonano al San Carlo, oltre che nelle bande
delle forze dell’ordine, ed a concertisti di fama nazionale
ed internazionale. Tanti sono i giovani appassionati che
vogliamo sostenere e il International Music Competition
“Francesco Cardaropoli” valorizzerà ancora di più i mi-
gliori elementi con dei premi, così come fatto negli anni
scorsi.

DELL’ ASSOCIAZIONE “LiberaMente”

Sono onorato di poter presiedere l’associazione con il

compito arduo di organizzare questo grande evento. È con
estrema riconoscenza che ricopro questa carica affinché
si possa realizzare l’incontro tra i giovani e la musica, una
crescita culturale e personale ragguardevole. Ciò che an-
cor più mi compiace è la cornice nella quale si svolgerà il
concorso, un posto dove si respira la storia. E con queste
immagini invito tutti i ragazzi a intraprendere un percorso
sicuramente faticoso, ma altrettanto appagante.
Ringrazio la città di Bracigliano che in questi anni si è
dimostrata sinceramente cordiale nell’ospitare tantissimi
musicisti europei e non e soprattutto ringrazio il Sindaco
di rendere tutto ciò possibile.
Un grande in bocca al lupo e un saluto particolare ai gio-
vani musicisti che giungeranno dall’estero nella nostra
bellissima città dalla quale verranno accolti con sincero
affetto.

The International Music Competition “Francesco Carda-

ropoli” is aimed at young musicians. The competition will
take place in the city of Bracigliano (SA) in the Palazzo De
Simone, that is located in Via Vittorio Emanuele on the

ART. 1 INTRODUCTION

The city of Bracigliano, in collaboration with the Associa-

tion “Libera-Mente”, announces the International Music
Competition “Francesco Cardaropoli”. The competition
is aimed at young people musicians of both genders pur-
suant to laws 903/77 and 125/91 and to people of all ages
and all nationalities, pursuant to the Decrees Legislative
215/03 and 216/03. The competition will take place in the
city of Bracigliano (SA) in the Palazzo De Simone located
in via Vittorio Emanuele and it will take place on the da-
tes from the 8th to the 14th of May 2023. The Competi-
tion was born with the intention of promoting discussions
between young musicians, beginners or already enriched
by significant experiences, that, in a climate of dialogue
and cultural exchange, donate their talent for the affirma-
tion of the second of the seven Arts of the Muses through
an empathic relationship between them and the public.

ART. 5 VALUATION

The evaluation of the competitors is expressed in cents.

Vote 100/100 FIRST ABSOLUTE PRIZE
score from 95 to 99 points FIRST PRIZE score from 90
to 94 points SECOND PRIZE score from 85 to 89 poin-
ts THIRD PRIZE score below 85 points DIPLOMA OF
MERIT
For Sections I, II, III, IV, V, those who have reported an
evaluation of (100/100 absolute first prize, for each instru-
ment) unanimously attributed by the jury, will compete in
the final evening, on 14 May 2023, for the assignment of
the Special Prize. Furthermore, all the absolute first prizes
will win a cup .

IMPORTANT: failure to participate in the final evening

will result as loss of the award and of any scholarships.
The Jury reserves the right not to assign the cash prizes

ART. 7 RULES

All competitors, at their arrival in the location of the Compe-

tition, they will have to go to the SECRETARY for the registra-
tion and they will have to show up at least 30 minutes before the
start of each Section / Category, as indicated in the calendar that
will be promptly communicated in accordance with the art. 5.

Competitors must present: An identification document, Two

copies of the pieces to be performed for the Jury“Soloists”

Competitors will be able to choose whether to present a solo

piece or an accompanied one with the piano.On request, the
organization will provide a piano accompaniment at the cost
of € 50.00.

Piano scores must be send promptly, not later than 10 days

from the start of Competition.

The signing of the application form entails unconditional ac-

ceptance of the regulation. In any case, the registration fees
are not refundable except for causes and / or responsibilities
due to the Organisation.

Each competitor can enrol in more Sections and in catego-

ries higher than his/her age, but cannot participate in a lower
category.

The Jury will be made up of Professors, Orchestra Professors

and Musicians of clear reputation who will not have the right
to vote if they have relationships of any kind with the com-
petitors.

The Jury’s judgment is unquestionable and final. They are gi-

ven the right to stop performances at any time.

Pursuant to art. 10 of Law no. 675/96 on “Data protection

personal “the” Libera-Mente “Association informs that the
data provided upon registration will be stored and used by
the same in order to send communications relating to the
competition and that, pursuant to of art. 129 of the afore-
mentioned law, the data owner can oppose their use.

Performances will be open to public. In case of registration

and / or radio, television or Internet broadcasting of evidence
of the Competition, candidates will have no right to request
compensation to the organization of the Competition.

The photographic, video and audio material may be used for

information purposes (Legislative Decree 196/2003). For any
possible controversy will be the competent court of Nocera
Inferiore.
