CARATTERISTICHE GENERALI
Al momento della presa in consegna dell'unità è indispensabile controllare di aver ricevuto tutto il materiale indica-
to sul documento d'accompagnamento, ed inoltre che la stessa non abbia subito danni durante il trasporto. In caso
affermativo, far costatare allo spedizioniere l'entità del danno subito, avvertendo nel frattempo il nostro ufficio
gestione clienti. Soltanto agendo in questo modo e tempestivamente sarà possibile avere il materiale mancante
o il risarcimento dei danni.
PREMESSA
Questa è una macchina progettata e costruita esclusivamente per la climatizzazione e deve essere usata solo
per tale scopo. La macchina può funzionare bene e lavorare con profitto soltanto se usata correttamente e man-
tenuta in piena efficienza. Preghiamo perciò di leggere attentamente questo libretto d'istruzioni e di rileggerlo
ogni qualvolta, nell'usare l'unità, sorgeranno delle difficoltà. In caso di necessità ricordiamo che il nostro servizio
d'assistenza, organizzato in collaborazione con i propri concessionari, è sempre a disposizione per eventuali
consigli ed interventi diretti.
DIRETTIVE EUROPEE
L'azienda dichiara che le macchine in oggetto sono conformi a quanto prescritto dalle seguenti direttive, e successive
modificazioni:

Il telecomando (Fig. 1) è composto da una serie di tasti e da un display che visualizza tutte le funzioni attive ed i
vari parametri necessari all'utente ed all'installatore per un corretto utilizzo dell'unità stessa.

Premendo il tasto “MODE” (Fig.1) si selezionano i vari modi di funzionamento (Fig.2) preferito, scegliendo tra i
seguenti:
AUTO - FREDDO- DEUMIDIFICAZIONE - VENTILAZIONE - CALDO.
1.AUTO Funzionamento Automatico: questa funzione è selezionata premendo il tasto MODE fino a visualizzare a
display il relativo simbolo. Il condizionatore imposta automaticamente il modo di funzionamento (FREDDO- DEU-
MIDIFICAZIONE - FAN - CALDO) in base alla temperatura ambiente ed alla temperatura selezionata. Il campo di
temperatura selezionabile varia da 17 a 30°C a intervalli di 1°C.
2.FREDDO Funzionamento in raffreddamento: questa funzione è selezionata premendo il tasto MODE fino a vi-
sualizzare a display il relativo simbolo. L’unità inizia a funzionare in raffreddamento e si porta velocemente vicino
alla temperatura ambiente richiesta. Il campo di temperatura selezionabile varia da 17 a 30°C a intervalli di 1°C.
4.VENTILAZIONE Funzionamento ventilazione: questa funzione è selezionata premendo il tasto MODE fino a
visualizzare a display il relativo simbolo. Nel funzionamento in sola ventilazione non è possibile impostare un
valore di set point.
5.CALDO Funzionamento in riscaldamento: questa funzione è selezionata premendo il tasto MODE fino a vi-
sualizzare a display il relativo simbolo. L’unità inizia a funzionare in riscaldamento e si porta velocemente vicino
alla temperatura ambiente richiesta. Il campo di temperatura selezionabile varia da 17 a 30°C a intervalli di 1°C.

Note:
1) Nel funzionamento a caldo il ventilatore si attiva solamente quando la temperatura dello scambiatore interno è
sufficientemente calda da garantire una temperatura di immissione dell’aria in ambiente confortevole.
2) Nel caso di impiego in sistemi Multi Split è possibile si verifichino delle condizioni di non compatibilità tra i
funzionamenti richiesti alle diverse unità. Nella sezione dedicata all’utilizzo delle unità in abbinamento Multi-Split
sono descritti tali compatibilità.

Premere i pulsanti " ▲ " e " ▼ " per aumentare o diminuire il valore della tem-
peratura desiderata.

Regolazione Verticale
Per regolare la direzione del flusso d’aria verticale (Fig 4) che esce dall’unità interna premere il tasto “ ” (Fig5.) .

L’unità è impostata di default nella modalità “statica” per cui ad ogni pressione del tasto la posizione cambia secon-
do la sequenza visualizzata dal display del comando.

Regolazione Orizzontale.
Per regolare la direzione del flusso d’aria orizzontale (Fig.7) occorre operare manualmente agendo sulle leve del
deflettore (Fig.8) .

Per attivare il condizionatore all’orario desiderato, seguire la procedura specificata sotto (il telecomando e il
condizionatore sono spenti):
Premere il tasto Timer. (fig. 1) Su display appariranno ad intermittenza le seguenti scritte HOUR ON e 0.0 (fig. 2)
Mediante i tasti ▼ o ▲ è possibile modificare ad intervalli di 0,5 ore il tempo di accensione desiderato. Una volta
selezionato il tempo desiderato l’indicazione del timer attivato rimarrà fissa sul display del telecomando.
Le impostazioni di funzionamento rimarranno le medesime dell’ultima impostazione
Per spegnere il condizionatore all’orario desiderato, seguire la procedura specificata sotto (il telecomando e il
condizionatore sono accesi):
Premere il tasto Timer. Su display appariranno ad intermittenza le seguenti scritte HOUR OFF e 0.0 (fig. 3)
Mediante i tasti ▼ o ▲ è possibile modificare ad intervalli di 0,5 ore il tempo di accensione desiderato. Una volta
selezionato il tempo desiderato l’indicazione del timer attivato rimarrà fissa sul display del telecomando.
Per disattivare il timer una volta impostato basta premere il tasto “Timer”.

In modalità Freddo, premere contemporaneamente i tasti “Fan” e “▲”.(Fig 1) per attivare la modalità Economica.
In questo caso il funzionamento, il set point e la velocità dell’aria sono scelti dall’unità e non sono modificabili. La
modalità ECO è evidenziata dal display del telecomando “EC” (Fig 2).
Note:
La funzione ECO non è compatibile con la funzione SLEEP.

Mediante la pressione simultanea dei tasti “▼” e “▲”(Fig 3) è possibile bloccare il funzionamento della tastiera del
telecomando. Il telecomando visualizzerà l’icona indicata (fig. 4) Per disattivare il blocco premere nuovamente i
tasti “▼” e “▲”.

Mediante la pressione simultanea dei tasti “▼” e “Mode ”(Fig 5) è possibile modificare la scala di visualizzazione
delle temperature da °C a °F e viceversa.

La modalità Low Ambient Temperature permette di impostare una funzione di mantenimento di una temperatura
minima, 8°C in ambiente in modo da evitare il congelamento degli ambienti stessi.
Per attivare tale modalità predisporre il telecomando in modalità caldo, premere contemporaneamente i tasti
“▲” + “Mode”(fig.7) . Il telecomando visualizzerà la scritta LA indicata in fig. 6. Per disattivare tale modalità basta
premere il pulsante Mode.
Si segnala che in tale modalità non sono impostabili ne la temperatura ne la velocità del ventilatore. Tale modalità
inoltre non è compatibile con le impostazioni della modalità “Sleep” o dell’attivazione di temporizzazioni.

COMPATIBILITA’ DI FUNZIONAMENTO
In cui fossero richieste contemporaneamente modalità di funzionamento non compatibili tra le varie unità interne,
l’eventuale non compatibilità verrà segnalata dal simbolo sul display dell’ unità interna. Il sistema in generale
garantisce la priorità alle unità impostate a Caldo.
INDIVIDUAZIONE MODELLO

Nel caso in cui si verificassero delle condizioni di malfunzionamento
associate ad una anomalia su una unità interna, questa anomalia verrà
segnalata sull’unità esterna con l’indicazione del codice dell’unità in-
terna guasta. E possibile interrogare le diverse unità per sapere il loro
codice e quindi sapere quale delle unità risulta guasta.
Per eseguire tale verifica occorre puntare il telecomando sul display
dell’unità mantenendo premuti contemporaneamente i tasti “light” e “▼”
( fig 1) . Il display dell’unità interna visualizzerà un numero da 1 a 5
corrispondente al numero dell’unità.

VISUALIZZAZIONE ERRORI
Nel caso insorgesse una condizione di errore durante il funzionamento dell’unità, tale condizione sarà visualizzata
sul display da un codice che identifica il numero del sistema che ha causato l’errore. Per interpretare i codici di
errore, utilizzare la tabella sottostante.

TASTO DI EMERGENZA
Permette il funzionamento di emergenza in caso di rottura o smarrimento del telecomando. La macchina assume
la modalità di funzionamento automatico.
Per questi modelli, il bottone Emergenza ON/OFF è su angolo in alto a destra sotto il pannello frontale (Fig.1).

FUNZIONE AUTO-RESTART
L’unità è programmata per accendersi automaticamente in caso di interruzione di corrente elettrica. Essa si riaccende
mantenendo le medesime impostazioni definite prima delle spegnimento.
Per spegnere il condizionatore basta premere il tasto di "ON/OFF" sul telecomando. Appena acceso o quando viene
spento e riacceso, il compressore del condizionatore non inizia a funzionare immediatamente ma dopo tre minuti, al
fine di proteggere il sistema. A fine stagione, prima di spegnere la macchina per un lungo periodo, è consigliabile farla
funzionare per 2 o 3 ore in raffreddamento con temperatura impostata a 30 °C. Dopodiché staccare l'alimentazione,
pulire i filtri e togliere la batteria dal telecomando.

SICUREZZA ED INQUINAMENTO
CONSIDERAZIONI GENERALI
La macchina è stata progettata in modo da ridurre al minimo i rischi per le persone e l'ambiente nel quale essa viene
installata. Pertanto per eliminare i rischi residui ai quali si va incontro è opportuno conoscere il più possibile della
stessa per non incorrere in incidenti che potrebbero causare danni a persone e/o cose.
Per ulteriori informazioni sulle caratteristiche del fluido frigorifero si rimanda alle schede tecniche di sicurezza
disponibili presso i produttori di refrigeranti.
ASSISTENZA E RICAMBI
Il nostro servizio di Assistenza più vicino, se non conosciuto, può essere richiesto al Concessionario dove l'apparecchio
è stato acquistato, o può essere reperito sulle Pagine Gialle sotto la voce "Condizionamento" o "Caldaie a gas".
ANALISI GUASTI
Forniamo di seguito uno schema per spiegare alcuni tipi di guasto che l'elettronica può captare e trasmettere
all'utente.

NORME DI SICUREZZA
Le norme sottoindicate vanno seguite attentamente per evitare danni all'operatore e alla macchina.
• L’istallazione della macchina deve essere eseguita secondo le norme di impiantistica nazionale.
• Il presente manuale dell'installatore, il manuale dell'utente e gli schemi elettrici sono parte integrante della
macchina. Tutti insieme devono essere custoditi e conservati con cura affinché siano disponibili agli operatori per le
consultazioni necessarie.
• La mancata osservanza di quanto descritto in questo manuale ed un'inadeguata installazione del condizionatore,
possono essere causa di annullamento del certificato di garanzia. La Ditta Costruttrice inoltre non risponde di
eventuali danni diretti e/o indiretti dovuti ad errate installazioni.
• Ogni intervento di manutenzione straordinaria deve essere eseguito da personale specializzato ed abilitato.
• Prima di mettere in funzione il condizionatore, controllare la perfetta integrità e sicurezza dei vari componenti e
dell'intero impianto.
• Se si devono sostituire dei pezzi, richiedere sempre ricambi originali. In caso contrario la garanzia decade.
• Non inserire o far cadere oggetti attraverso le griglie di protezione dei ventilatori.
• Leggere attentamente le etichette sulla macchina, non coprirle per nessuna ragione e sostituirle in caso venissero
danneggiate.
• Se si dovessero riscontrare anomalie nel funzionamento della macchina accertarsi che non siano dipendenti
dalla mancata manutenzione ordinaria. In caso contrario richiedere l'intervento di un tecnico specializzato.
• Ogni intervento di manutenzione straordinaria deve essere eseguito da personale specializzato ed abilitato.
• La macchina non deve essere abbandonata, in fase di rottamazione, per la presenza di materiali soggetti a norme
che ne prevedono il riciclaggio o lo smaltimento presso centri appositi.
• Non lavare la macchina con getti d'acqua diretti o in pressione o con sostanze corrosive.
La Ditta costruttrice, con la sua rete di assistenza, è comunque a disposizione per assicurare una pronta ed
accurata assistenza tecnica e tutto quanto può essere utile per il miglior funzionamento ed ottenere il massimo della
resa.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
MACHINE COLLECTION
Upon collecting the machine, it is essential for the user to make sure that they have received all the items indicated
on the delivery note and that the machine has not been damaged during transport. If damage is discovered, allow
the forwarding agent to ascertain its entity and also inform our seller. Only in this way will you be able to receive the
missing items or reimbursement of damages within the shortest possible time.
FOREWORD
This machine has been specifically designed and manufactured for air conditioning and must only be used for this
purpose. Even the best of machines are capable of operating efficiently and correctly only if they are used in the
correct manner and kept fully efficient. You are therefore kindly requested to carefully read this instruction manual
and to consult it every time problems arise when using the machine. We remind you that if necessary, our assistance
service, organised in collaboration with our dealers, is always at your disposal for any advice and direct intervention
required.

APPLICATION FIELD
The remote control (Fig. 1) includes a series of buttons and a display showing all the active functions and the different
parameters required by the user or installer to correctly use the unit.

BATTERY INSERTION/REPLACEMENT
2. Remove the run-down batteries and insert the new ones (2),
make sure that they are positioned according to the diagram inside
the housing.
Note: Remove the batteries of the remote control when the air con-
ditioner is not used for long periods, and store out of the reach of
children.
Dispose of the old batteries in specific collection points to protect
the environment and the health of other persons.
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the air conditioner on (Fig. 2). Fig. 2
The air conditioner green light will turn on, indicating that operation has started.
Please note that the liquid crystal display will always show the last operating mode
and the functions previously used. Follow the instructions to change the system op-
erating mode.

OPERATING MODES
Premendo il tasto “MODE” (Fig.3) si selezionano i vari modi di funzionamento (Fig.4) preferito, scegliendo tra i
seguenti:
AUTO - FREDDO- DEUMIDIFICAZIONE - VENTILAZIONE - CALDO.
1.AUTO Funzionamento Automatico: questa funzione è selezionata premendo il tasto MODE fino a visualizzare a
display il relativo simbolo. Il condizionatore imposta automaticamente il modo di funzionamento (FREDDO- DEU-
MIDIFICAZIONE - FAN - CALDO) in base alla temperatura ambiente ed alla temperatura selezionata. Il campo di
temperatura selezionabile varia da 17 a 30°C a intervalli di 1°C.
2.FREDDO Funzionamento in raffreddamento: questa funzione è selezionata premendo il tasto MODE fino a visua-
lizzare a display il relativo simbolo. L’unità inizia a funzionare in raffreddamento e si porta velocemente vicino alla
temperatura ambiente richiesta. Il campo di temperatura selezionabile varia da 17 a 30°C a intervalli di 1°C.
4.VENTILAZIONE Funzionamento ventilazione: questa funzione è selezionata premendo il tasto MODE fino a vi-
sualizzare a display il relativo simbolo. Nel funzionamento in sola ventilazione non è possibile impostare un valore
di set point.
5.CALDO Funzionamento in riscaldamento: questa funzione è selezionata premendo il tasto MODE fino a visua-
lizzare a display il relativo simbolo. L’unità inizia a funzionare in riscaldamento e si porta velocemente vicino alla
temperatura ambiente richiesta. Il campo di temperatura selezionabile varia da 17 a 30°C a intervalli di 1°C.

notes:
1) In heating mode the fan is only activated when the indoor exchanger temperature is hot enough to
guarantee a supply air temperature in a comfortable environment.
2) In case of use in Multi Split systems can experience the conditions of non-compatibility between the
operations required to the different units. In the section devoted to the use of the units in conjunction Multi-
Split describes these compatibility.

door unit is explained below:
1. POWER INDICATOR
It lights up when the unit is on.
2. TEMPERATURE INDICATOR
It indicates the set ambient temperature. In case of
errors, these will be indicated with the specific code.
3. RECEIVER
It receives the infrared signals sent by the remote con-
trol.
When the deflector turns on, it has a pre-set inclination. It is possible to automatically adjust the vertical direction of
the air flow, while the horizontal adjustment must be carried out manually.
Vertical adjustment
Press the “ ” button (Fig. 5) to adjust the vertical air flow direction (Fig. 4 coming from the indoor unit.

The unit is set by default in "static" mode, therefore every time the button is pressed the position changes according
to the sequence displayed on the remote control.

Horizontal adjustment.
To adjust the horizontal air flow direction (Fig. 7) manually work on the flaps of the deflector (Fig. 8).

TIMER SETTING
The timer allows you to delay the start, if at the time the air conditioner is on or vice versa postpone the shutdown if
the air conditioner is turned on in the state.
To turn on the air conditioner at the desired time, follow the procedure specified below (the remote control and the
air conditioner is turned off):
Press the Timer button. (Fig. 1) On the display appear intermittently the following written HOUR ON and 0.0 (Fig.2)
Using the ▼ or ▲ keys to change at 0.5-hour intervals the desired start time. Once the desired time selected an
indication of the activated timers will remain fixed on the remote screen.
The operating settings will remain the same the last setting
To turn the air conditioner at the desired time, follow the procedure specified below (the remote control and the air
conditioner is turned on):
Press the Timer button. On display will intermittently the following written HOUR OFF and 0.0 (Fig. 3) Using the ▼
or ▲ keys to change at 0.5-hour intervals the desired start time. Once the desired time selected an indication of the
activated timers will remain fixed on the remote screen.
To disable the timer once set just press the "Timer" button.

In Cool mode, simultaneously press the "Fan" and "▲". (Fig 1) to activate the Economy mode. In this case the ope-
ration, the set point and the air velocity are chosen from the unit and are not editable. ECO mode is highlighted by
the remote control "CE" display (Fig 2).
Notes:
The ECO function is not compatible with the SLEEP function.

By simultaneously pressing the "▼" and "▲" (Fig. 3) you can block the operation of the remote control keypad. The
remote control will display the icon shown (Fig. 4) To unlock press the "▼" and "▲".

By simultaneously pressing the "▼" and "Mode" (Fig 5) you can change the temperature scale display from °C to °F
and vice versa.

The Low Ambient Temperatures mode allows you to set a maintenance function of a minimum temperature 8 ° C
environment to prevent freezing of the environments themselves.
For this mode to set up the remote control in hot mode, simultaneously press the keys "▲" + "Mode" (Figure 7).
The remote control will display the LA written on illustration. 6. To disable this mode simply press the Mode button.
It is noted that in this mode can not be set it the temperature nor the fan speed. This mode is also not compatible with
the settings of the "Sleep" mode or activation of timing.

OPERATION COMPATIBILITY
If operating modes non-compatible with the different indoor units are requested at the same time, the non-compati-
bility will be signalled by the symbol on the indoor unit display. In general, the system ensures the priority to the unit
set to HEAT.
Compatibility table
Table 2 indicates how unit 2 during turning on phase, in case of unit 1 on, can decide whether to turn on or force unit
1 to turn off according to the selected mode.

In the case in which they occur in the product of malfunction conditions
associated with an abnormality of an internal unit, this anomaly will be
signaled on the outdoor unit with the indication of the indoor unit code
faulty. You can query the different units to know their code and then know
which of the units is faulty.
To verify this, pointing the remote control at the display unit whilst simul-
taneously holding down the buttons "light" and "▼" (Figure 1). The indoor
unit display will show a number from 1 to 5 corresponding to the number
of the unit.

EMERGENCY BUTTON
It allows an emergency operation in case the remote control is broken or unavailable. The machine sets to the automatic
operating mode.
For these models, the Emergency ON/OFF button is positioned on the top right-hand corner, under the front panel (Fig. 1).

AUTO-RESTART FUNCTION
POWER OFF
To turn the air conditioner just press the button "ON / OFF" on the remote control. Just turned on or when it is switched
off and on, the air conditioner compressor does not start operating immediately, but after three minutes, in order to
protect the system. At the end of the season, before turning off the machine for a long period, it is advisable to make it
work for 2 or 3 hours in cooling mode with the temperature set at 30 ° C. Then disconnect the power, clean the filters
and remove the battery from the remote control.
Note This operation must be carried out once a month (the frequency of
the cleaning operations may vary according to the features and the dust
present in the installation place).

SAFETY AND POLLUTION
GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
The machine has been designed to reduce risks to persons and to the environment in which it is installed, to the
minimum. To eliminate residual hazards, it is therefore recommended to become as familiar as possible with the
machine in order to avoid accidents that could cause personal injuries and/or damage to the machine.
Consult the technical safety briefs available from refrigerant manufacturers for further information about the
characteristics of the cooling fluid.
In case you might not know the position of our closest Assistance Service, ask the Dealer where you purchased the
equipment, or search the Italian Yellow Pages under "Condizionamento" (Air conditioning) or "Caldaie a gas" (Gas
boilers).

The diagram below lists the some types of fault that the electronics can detect and communicate to the user.

SAFETY REGULATIONS
Strictly comply with the following regulations to prevent injury to the operator or damage to the machine.
• The unit installation must be done according to the installation rules valid in your country.
• This installer's handbook, the user manual and the wiring diagrams are integral part of the machine. They must be
kept with care and be ready to hand should the operators require them for consultation.
• Failure to comply with the instructions in this manual and inadequate installation of the conditioner may void the
certificate of guarantee. Moreover, the Manufacturer shall not be liable for direct and/or indirect damages due to
incorrect installation.
• If the outdoor unit must be dismantled, it is advisable to have the job done by an authorized technical service
centre.
• Before starting the conditioner, make sure that the various components and the entire system are in perfect and
safe conditions.
• Always use genuine spare parts. Failure to do so will void the guarantee.
• Disconnect the electric power source before proceeding with any work on the machine.
• Do not push items through the protective fan grilles or allow objects to drop through.
• Carefully read the labels on the machine, never cover them and replace them immediately should they be
damaged.
• If the power cable has been damaged, stop the machine if it is operating, and have the cable immediately replaced
by an authorized technician.
• If the machine operates in an abnormal way, make sure that this does not depend on failure to carry out routine
maintenance. Failing this, ask to have the machine checked by a specialized technician.
• If the outdoor unit must be dismantled, it is advisable to have the job done by an authorized technical service
centre.
• The machine must not be dumped if it is to be scrapped since it contains materials that must be recycled or
disposed of by authorized centres.
• Do not wash the machine with direct or pressurized jets of water or with corrosive substances.
The Manufacturer and after-sales service network are at your disposal for prompt and
accurate technical assistance and for anything else able to ensure the best operation and achieve the utmost
efficiency from your machine.
