(6) Si noti la forma as. . . as (cosi . . . come). Al negativo si usa
invece so. . . as. He is not so big as John : egli non e grande
come John. Le parole brevi come as, a, for, sono sovente
solo accennate nella conversazione. Al loro posto si sentira
dire "ez", " e " , "feV".
(7) Espressione da ricordare, essendo assai diversa da quella
italiana che e piuttosto incendiaria I Light : luce.
