which is well done and is constantly updated, too.
But we believe that the way we took is correct,
and day after day we see better results of our work.
In fact, this year two members of the British Royal
Society for the History of Science wrote about our
Project in two important British Educational pa-
pers:
Education in Science, edited by ASE- Asso-
ciation for Science Education, and
Education Forum, the Newsletter of the Royal
Society for the History of Science (published
in a Web edition, too, at the Education Sec-
tion of www.bshs.org.uk).
It will give us a “visibility” in a large part of
British Educational system.
At the same time, just to mention the last two
months, we were invited to show our Project to a
few National and International Conferences or sci-
entific and educational initiatives, meeting many
teachers and educational institutions. Likely the
participation to an eight-day Physics and Life, held
in November at Noordwijk, Nederland, or the
Italian National Conference on History and Fun-
daments of Chemistry, in Pavia, Italy, or the
Tyrolean Comenius Day in Innsbruck, Austria
(where our Project was invited as one of the best
Austrian Comenius 1 educational initiatives), and
so on. Such initiatives allow us to feel we are fol-
lowing the right way to reach our educational and
scientific targets.
Above all, we are glad that at least one of our

Recentemente, due membri
della Royal Society for the
History of Science britanni-
ca, hanno scritto un articolo con chiare ed esplicite
citazioni del nostro Progetto didattico-formativo-
editoriale su due importanti riviste molto diffuse
nel mondo della scuola e dell’Università del Regno
Unito:

sociation for Science Education, e
Education Forum, della Royal Society for
the History of Science (pubblicato anche
nella sua edizione su Internet nella Educa-
tion Section del sito www.bshs.org.uk).
Queste recensioni stanno dando alla nostra ini-
ziativa una larga “visibilità” nel sistema scolastico
inglese, e non solo.
Solo per citare gli avvenimenti degli ultimi due
mesi, il nostro Editorial Board è stato invitato a
presentare e discutere il nostro Progetto in diversi
Convegni scientifici ed educativi nazionali ed in-
ternazionali. Tra questi, il Physics and Life lo
scorso mese di Novembre, a Noordwijk - Olanda,
il Convegno Nazionale di Storia e Fondamenti
della Chimica a Pavia – Italia, il Tyrolean Come-
nius Day (dove vengono presentati le migliori atti-
vità di progetto) a Innsbruck - Austria, e così via.
Queste iniziative e questi riconoscimenti ci confor-
tano nel ritenere corretta ed efficace la via che ab-
biamo intrapreso per il raggiungimento delle finali-
tà che ci eravamo posti.
In tutti i casi, siamo comunque lieti di registrare
già il pieno raggiungimento di almeno uno degli
obiettivi: gli studenti partecipanti direttamente alla
realizzazione del Magazine in qualità di Redattori

European Editorial Board are working with re-
sponsibility, participating effectively to the plan-
ning of the editorial activities, to the acceptance of
the contributions, to the revisions and to the print-
ing phases, as well as to every decisional Editorial
Meeting.
Day by day the European Pupils Magazine is
taking the shape we wish it to have a European
Pupils Magazine, planned, organised and pub-
lished by European students for their peers.
LEITEARTIKEL
Dies ist die letzte Ausgabe des Jahres 2003 und
daher ist es an der Zeit, die bisherigen Ergebnisse
der Arbeit und die Aktivitäten der Herausgeber zu-
sammenzufassen.
Als erstes ist zu sagen, dass die Zahl der von eu-
ropäischen Schülern eingereichten Artikel langsam
aber stetig wächst und auch die Qualität der Beiträ-
ge steigt. Leider konnten einige Artikel nicht veröf-
fentlicht werden, weil sie nicht die in den Richtli-
nien für eine Einreichung geforderten Bedingungen
an Originalität, Formatierung, kompletter Quellen-
angabe und Zweisprachigkeit erfüllten oder aus an-
deren Gründen nicht verwertbar waren. Die ist der
zu zahlende Preis, wenn ein für die Bildung nützli-

European Pupils Magazine ogni giorno appare
sempre più quello che abbiamo dichiarato e pro-
messo fin dal primo numero: una Rivista Europea
scientifica di livello internazionale, pianificata, or-
ganizzata, scritta e pubblicata dagli Studenti per
altri studenti.
EDITORIAL
Ce numéro c’est le dernier de l’année solaire
2003. Il est temps, donc, de faire le bilan des résul-
tats obtenus jusqu’ici, par les activités éditoriales
de notre "European Pupils Magazine".
Avant tout nous pouvons remarquer avec satis-
faction que le nombre des articles proposés par les
étudiants européens, va de plus en plus augmenter,
ainsi que la qualité scientifique des contributions
va améliorer. Malheureusement, nous regrettons
que nous avons dû jeter au panier de différents arti-
cles parce qu ils ne résultaient pas conformes aux
indications des Lignes guides, ou bien au requise
de l’originalité, du format, du caractère, de la bi-
bliographie, de l’iconographie, de la langue
(anglaise ou bien langue maternelle), le manque

den soll.
Wir können sagen, dass es alle eingereichten
Beiträge wert waren, genauer betrachtet zu werden.
Als Herausgeber haben wir uns auf Regeln geeinigt
unter denen eine Veröffentlichung möglich ist. In
unserer Gesellschaft gibt es eine Vielzahl von Re-
geln, welche unser Leben steuern und auch jeder
Schüler, der einen Beitrag einreicht, hat zu lernen,
dass vorgegebene Regeln einzuhalten sind, wenn
eine Zusammenarbeit erfolgreich sein soll.
Wir haben die Richtlinien für eine Veröffentli-
chung überarbeitet um dieses Problem zu mildern.
Sicher ist es für viele Autoren der erste Versuch
einen eigenen Artikel zu veröffentlichen. Auch der
Ansatz mit dem European Pupils Magazine eine
neue Plattform für die Ausbildung und das wissen-
schaftliches Arbeiten von Schülerinnen und Schü-
lern zur Verfügung zu stellen ist für viele neu.
Auch wenn bereits mehr als 3000 gedruckte
Ausgaben in Europa versandt und mehrere hundert
CDs mit den ersten beiden Ausgaben verteilt wur-
den, ist das Magazin noch weit vom gewünschten
Bekanntheitsgrad entfernt. Ganz abgesehen von

welche bereits in 5 Sprachen zur Verfügung steht
und ständig aktualisiert und erweitert wird.
Wir sind überzeugt auf dem richtigen Weg zu
sein, weil wir jeden Tag bessere Ergebnisse unse-
rer Arbeit sehen. So veröffentlichten zwei Mitglie-
der der britischen Royal Society for the History of
Science Artikel in zwei wichtigen britischen Zeit-
schriften für den Bildungsbereich:

Die ermöglichte es uns, in einem großen Teil
des britischen Bildungssystems bekannt zu werden.
Gleichzeitig – um nur die letzten beiden Monate

Il est vrai que chaque contribution parvenue
était presque toujours appréciable et digne d’atten-
tion, mais nous sommes aussi des éducateurs outre
que des éditeurs, c’est pourquoi qu’il est néces-
saire, qu’on établît des règles fermes, auxquelles il
faut s’adapter. Toutes les entreprises, en effet, se
fondent sur un ensemble de règles et de rôles qu’il
faut connaître et observer, et les étudiants doivent
s’habituer à les observer sans renoncer de toute fa-
çon à la leur propre personnelle créativité.
A présent, les travaux arrivés des Pays exté-
rieurs au groupe des trois Partenaires fondateurs
sont modestes, car la Revue est encore aux débuts
et les potentialités formatives et didactiques d’un
tel exploit ne sont pleinement connues. A ce pro-
pos, presque trois mille copies de la revue ont été
envoyées dans toute l’Europe et des centaines de
CD multimédias contenant les deux premiers, fas-
cicules de European Pupils Magazine, ont été dis-

On peut affirmer que notre Magazine est sur le bon
chemin pour réussir à trouver une large diffusion
dans une bonne partie de l’Europe comme un va-
lide moyen éducatif et didactique.
De jour en jour, en effet, les membres de la ré-
daction, reçoivent toujours plus de satisfactions par
leur infatigable et dur travail.
Récemment, deux membres de la Royal Society
for the History of Science britannique, ont écrit un
article avec de claires et d’explicites citations de
notre Projet didactique – formatif – éditorial sur
deux importantes revues très diffuses dans le
monde de l’école et dans l’Université de la Breta-
gne.
